Can someone tell me why I’m mentally conditioned to want to buy ANYTHING new Glossier releases?? Regardless of whether I actually want it or need it?? And then once I get it I end up ALSO getting like every other thing that I may or may not have emptied yet? What should we call this?? Glossi-itis?? Glossi-ism?? Anyway. I got the new fig balm dot com bc idk about y’all but I do love me some figs!! Deets on my haul: Since I’ve worn zero makeup in the last 8 months I had to re-up on my boy brow since my old one is crusty and dried up. I still feel like there are better brow products out there but again...Glossier-itis came for me. Glossier. - Boy Brow I’ve been trying the new Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara recently and it looks GOOD when it’s on but zang it does NOT stay on and smudges everywhereeeee. So of course I had to go back to the Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara bc it just hits different. I have every other cloud paint so I decided to get this one in puff. I hardly ever use them...but have them anyway.....Glossi-ism..Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color If you also suffer from this condition, make sure you get a bundle for the 3 products above to at least protect your coin and not let this problem destroy you financially. Glossier. - The Makeup Set And finally for what I actually intended to buy... Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in fig. It has a tint to it that you can’t see bc I have darker lips 👄 but idgaf bc I love figs. It doesn’t smell as much like a fig as I’d like though, but there is something deep down inside me that is letting that slide bc the colors are an actual vibe and I’m here for it....Glossiorder??? If you have any other names for this Glossier induced condition that I’m sure many suffer from, feel free to leave a comment! And best of luck to you on your journey to recovery (lol, like that’s going to happen bc they launched new body hero today and I’m like......👀👀👀👀)
Glossier Worth The Hype?💫
So as you may know, Glossier is a VERY popular brand but mostly for its aesthetics. But here we are reviewing more than the aesthetics. Let’s talk about what products are worth the hype🙂. Glossier. - The Skincare Edit The skincare.... So they have a 𝗷𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿 and what from i heard off, its JUST a normal cleanser, nothing special. Honestly it’s very overpriced for a small normal cleanser. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿: Just a normal moisturizer too🙂. Very soft. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺𝘀: Glossier. - The Super PackGlossiers serums are actually not as mad as I thought, still pricey but not as bad. Many people don’t see a change while using them and others do so it always depends but if you have the money, buying these hopefully will not be a let down. Glossier. - Mask Duo𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀: nothing special, makes your face soft🌸 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙪𝙥: Glossier. - Cloud Paint DuoGlossier. - Lash Slick MascaraThis product is TOTALLY worth it. Really pigmented and very good for your makeup🥰. Also the mascara is a normal good mascara! Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter ConcentrateGlossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘁. Lastly the 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 are good and many have said 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter is not good cause it barley gives anything. What’s your experience with glossier? Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Long lashes are a gal's best friend, and while I'm fortunate to naturally have pretty amazing ones, I'm always looking for a good mascara to enhance them. I received the Milk Makeup Kush High Volume Mascara as part of my 2020 birthday gift from Sephora this month, and I don't think I've ever loved a free gift as much as this. It's like magic in a bottle and is 100% something I will be purchasing in full-size format ASAP. What I love about it: ✨ This mascara is meant to turn up the volume to 11, and using heart shaped fibres, you can be sure it won't give you spider lashes. They lay in every direction, creating a fuller and darker lash that will last all day. ✨ It's infused with hemp + cannabis seed oil. They'll help condition your lashes and keep them feeling healthy despite layering this stuff on thick, as well as helping the fibres fuse to each individual lash to provide the best effect. ✨ The puff-style brush has criss-crossed bristles that help catch and coat each lash - no man left behind! You may need to take some extra time to ensure you get into the corners without making a mess, but this curvy lil brush will work its magic when you do. ✨ Milk Makeup is cruelty and paraben-free, and 100% vegan. Their website features a lengthy ingredient blacklist to outline exactly what they're against, for our benefit. This stuff is clean, affordable, and effective. Milk Makeup's line is so nice and the packaging is super Instagrammable. What's not to love? I'm looking forward to trying more of their products and am super excited that Sephora chose to feature them as one of the 2020 birthday gift options. Their samples are such a good way to discover brands you might not have otherwise picked up. 🛍 Do you use anything from Milk Makeup? Lemme know below, I'd also love to hear some mascara recommendations! 👁

$24 Vs $10 Mascara
I just received a Thrive Causemetics Lash Extensions mascara in my (very first!) Ipsy bag. I was sooooo excited to try it! So, I decided to pit it against my current favorite KissMe Heroine Make Long and Curl waterproof mascara. The cost of the Thrive product is $24 on the Thrive website, the KissMe product is $10 from Amazon. Are you ready for it...?! There is no comparison. The $10 product blows the $24 Thrive mascara AWAY! I have short, extremely straight lashes and KissMe’s mascara lengthens, curls and separates them and lasts. The Thrive mascara did lengthen my lashes really well, but the curl fell flat about two minutes after application. You can see it in the photos, KissMe is on the left and Thrive is on the right. Thrive is definitely not a bad product and if you already have lifted lashes, it’s probably great. For my money, KissMe is still the best mascara out there. Go to Amazon now and get a tube! thrive causemetics - Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara™ KISSME - Kiss Me Waterproof Lengthening and Curling Mascara

boy brow vs w3ll people brow gel
Second pic: natural eyebrow Third pic: boy brow left, W3ll people right I have been a long time fan of glossier’s boy brow eyebrow gel. I think it gives a really natural look, and adds to my standard “less is more” makeup routine. However, I found this vegan drugstore brand of eyebrow gel from W3ll People and wanted to give it a try! It is a touch cheaper than glossier, and more accessible since you can find it at target etc. overall, boy brow is the winner (pictured on the left in the third photo). Glossier. - Boy Brow my only drawback about this gel is that, due to the upward stroke application, I sometimes have to use a spoolie to smooth my eyebrows into the shape I want. But as for as color and fill, I think this is the perfect brow gel for someone who wants a little bit of definition without looking like they have done anything to their brows. W3LL PEOPLE - Expressionist Brow Gel as you can see in the third picture, this gel goes on cakey and leaves a lot of product behind (in the picture I even went over it with a q tip to wipe off the excess, and it is still too much). Also, unlike boy brow, I can feel this gel on my eyebrow - it feels waxy and heavy, and not as natural as the glossier product. This brand is fine if you want to go for the darker, more noticeably filled in look, especially on a budget, but it is definitely waxier and leaves a lot of product behind.
$25 vs $10 MASCARA DUPE 🛍
Too Faced’ Better Than Sex mascara and the L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise not only look very similar but perform pretty identical as well! A minor difference includes the BTS mascara having a heavier tube than the VLP. When it comes to performance; BOTH: Create multidimensional volume Available in a waterproof formula Flake slightly at the end of the day Better Than Sex Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara : Curls the lash Contains peptides that nourish the lash Clumps Harder bristle Voluminous Lash Paradise L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara : Lengthens lashes No clumping Softer bristle These two mascaras are both great for different reasons it just depends on what you are ultimately looking for in a mascara. I prefer the Voluminous mascara for it providing added length to my lashes. Have you tried both? Which do you prefer? (These are my experiences with using both mascaras)
Too Faced-Better Than Sex Mascara
My Go-To Mascara for...
EVERYDAY — benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara This has been one of my favorite mascaras for years because it lasts a long time on me (which is rare because my eyelashes touch my lids and cheeks and tend to cause mascaras to smudge right away). I have mine in the black color and I can honestly say it holds the natural curl of my lashes for hours. It also doesn’t irritate my eyes and looks very natural. It is also very easy to remove with an oil or balm cleanser, which is always my first step in my nighttime skincare routine. Because of this, I gravitate towards this mascara for everyday use. I give this mascara a 5/5 stars but it is pretty long-lasting (I usually get about 6 hours of wear before it starts to smudge) and its the best when it is humid out, which is often in Miami. $25 SPECIAL EVENT — L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara Whenever I have a special event, I always go for my Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara. In the case of a special event where I know it will be hot and I will be sweating or if I know I am going to cry, I will always go for this mascara. It is super black, makes my lashes look really voluminous and full, and does not budge. The only downside to this mascara is that because it is so long-lasting, it can be a pain to try to remove, but its nothing that can’t be taken care of with a good double cleanse, starting with an oil-based cleanser. I give this mascara a 5/5 stars because it lasts forever and looks just as good when you take it off as it looked when you put it on. (this mascara has a slight scent to it, so be wary if that irritates your eyes) $9.89 GOING OUT — MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara When I want thick, voluminous, stand-out lashes, I always choose the Velvet Noir mascara. When I am going out, but know that I do not need the longevity of my waterproof mascara, I gravitate toward this one. It is suuuuper black and gives the most incredible volume and lift to the lashes. This is the priciest mascara of the bunch, but I think it is well worth it because it just gives that oomph that other mascaras don’t. I highly recommend it and give it a 5/5 stars! $27
