I am a huge skincare lover and love to try out ingredients and brands. Check out my collection and my favourite brands and products. Favourite brands: Versed: this is a brand that I have tried many products and they have worked well for me. This is a drug store brand that is mid range. It is cruelty free and eco conscience, going so far as to state the percentage of usage of recycled material and having recycling instructions on their website. My holy grails are VERSED - PHOTOS, PLEASE BRIGHTENING TIGHTENING MASK and VERSED - Doctor's Visit The ordinary: this is a great brand as it is super affordable and it’s cruelty free. The way I like to benefit from this brand is to try out ingredients to see what works for my skin, their serums are my favourite. My holy grail is The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% The Inkey lists: this brand is similar to the ordinary but I think some of their formulas are better. They focus on ingredients that allow me to find the best ingredients for my skin, they are also cruelty free. My holy grail isTHE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum Cosrx:this brand was my introduction to K-beauty and they are very accessible through Amazon ( also cruelty free). They focus on the primary ingredient that is either natural or chemical. My holy grails are COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and #Cosrx - Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule[products]#[FiveStars] Brands with 1-2 favourite products: First aid beauty: this brand focuses on healing the skin with the incorporation of oats which are amazing. My holy grail isFIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration Glossier: this is a brand started by a beauty editor and are all very aesthetically pleasing and gentle on the skin (cruelty free). My holy grail is Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser Paula’s Choice: this is a great brand that is science driven (cruelty free). My holy grail isPAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 Pyunkang Yul: this is a K-beauty brand that started in a medical clinic and focus on short ingredient lists. My holy grail isPyunkang Yul - Essence Toner Pixi: this is an English brand that has lots of products and lines to target different issues (cruelty free). My holy grail is pixi - Hydrating Milky Mist The body shop: the body shop is a very established brand that has tons of products (cruelty free), I love their masks in particular. My holy grail isTHE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Face Mask Niod: this brand has the same parent company as the ordinary but it is the more expensive and technologically advanced. I love that they are pushing the bounds of skincare (cruelty free). My holy grail is NIOD - Modulating Glucosides
Thee Best Makeup Remover EVER!!!!!!
This cleansing balm will make you second guess any makeup wipe you’ve ever bought! My favorite makeup wipes are the dupe for the POND'S - Original Fresh Moisture Clean Towelettes from Target , which I still absolutely love! Because these wipes rids EVERYTHING!! But if I don’t have those I’ll settle for POND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser which is also a favorite!! I keep a tub in every room of my house & one in my purse NO LIE! & it definitely does what it’s supposed to do HOWEVER...... I’ve come across a company that it this close 👌🏾 to making me their number stalker fan. Yes, stalker fan. BANILA CO. One of my good Cherie sistas put me on to this grand brand & when I say they’ve taken all my moneys, they’ve taken all of my moneys. I’ve started out buying the kit which had all the sample sizes, but my skin is greedy & it needed more! For all my lash wearers, you guys know how it is when you still have that piece of glue stuck on your lashes that’s so stubborn it doesn’t want to move.... 🙄😒 THIS BALM WILL ELIMINATE THAT GLUE EXPEDITIOUSLY!!! I am not kidding! Both of those products I’ve listed above I’ve used for YEARS! And neither has successfully gotten lash glue off within one wipe, or one wash! This cleansing balm did! I almost wanted to put some more makeup on just to use it again to wipe it off! This stuff is pure magic!!!!!!!!!! BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original

My Current PM Routine
I recently did my AM routine.... Guess it's time to do my PM routine. Keep in mind my routines do tend to change frequently due to me trying different products to review, but this is my current one. THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm (I have to double check, but I think it's fragrence free) So far I'm enjoying this one. I like the ease of the tube and the texture is nice to get off my makeup and sunscreen. I actually like this one better than Then I met you - Living Cleansing Balm (not Fragrence free) and it's cheaper. I still enjoy then I met you, but it's not in the tube and I like inkey's texture better. Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser (Fragrence free) I've been using this one for PM because I feel like my milky cleansers aren't strong enough to get off the balm (it probably is). It's still gentle, while still feeling cleansing. I will say there's been times where I don't get it fully off and then when I go into my next step, it still foams up and I have to go back in and REALLY make sure I got it off Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence(I think it's fragrence free. Again I'd have to double check) I haven't used this one enough yet to make a review, but so far I like it. It's watery like a toner so that's how I've been using it. My go to is usually COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence which I still use in the AM. I want to like Hanskin because I don't have a toner and wouldn't mind using this product in that place COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence (Fragren free) I've already reviewed this one! Def a holy grail because it makes my skin feel plump and hydrated. If you can get around the idea of using snail slime, it is worth it! ETUDE - Soonjung Hydro Barrier Cream(Fragrence free) Another product too soon to review since it just recently joined my routine. It does leave a little shine while its waiting to sink in so if I keep it in my routine it would be for PM. So far my go to is CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream and I'm curious to find a cream that is a little more complex in it's ingredients list THE inkey LIST - Rosehip Oil (Fragrence free) I've been using this for a few weeks now. It is nice for hydration, but it sits on my skin. I feel like it sits on my skin for a long time. If I'm going straight to bed, I feel like it gets on my pillow and hair making a oily mess. I like to use this if I know I have time before laying down
Hey y’all! Jumping on the trend, here is my day/night skincare routine MINUS treatments, because I simply could not fit them in!!! Morning: Cleanser Toner 3 serums 2 “eye” creams (I use Purito for my smile & forehead lines, inkey for my inner corner eye because it is super dry due to allergies) Water cream moisturizer Sunscreen Lip balm/salve Evening/Night: Cleansing balm Salicylic acid cleanser Toner 2 serums 2 “eye” creams Moisturizer Vaseline stick balm (dry eyes again) Lip balm/salve Treatments I use: THE inkey LIST - Succinic Acid Acne Treatment I use this as an acne spot treatment when I feel like I need it The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA I use this once a week as my chemical exfoliant THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum I use this once a week, currently working it Into my routine (on my second week) & over my moisturizer How am I doing? Any recommendations? Let me know below! PS- I like a huge routine because it makes me feel bougie. I know many of these are not necessary, but I like to use them regardless 😄

HELP MY MOM OUT! Mature Skincare Suggestions?
Hi friends! I need your help to develop an ANTI AGING SKINCARE ROUTINE for my mom! She turns 60 years old in March.. Is a retinol newbie...She just started using OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Moisturizerin December and says she likes the way it makes her skin feel and she is not experiencing any sensitivity. She is particularly concerned about her EYES She generally does not have very sensitive skin, but she doesnt like heavy fragrances either. WHAT DOES SHE NEED? I don’t know much about anti aging but I’m considering these products based on popularity and what she already has... opinions or any other suggestions? She is willing to pay for more expensive things if they work better! What is her routine still missing? Cleanser: ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Acids: colorescience - AHA/BHA Exfolitaing Cleanser by SkinMedica Serum: CLARINS - Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate Eye Creams: Day: LANCÔME - Génifique Yeux Youth Activating Eye Cream Night: Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum Moisturizer: Day: OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer Night: OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Moisturizer Oil: Jurlique - Age-Defying Firming Face Oil I WANT HER TO HAVE THE BEST OF THE BEST PRODUCTS!!! Battle of the Cleansing Balms
Battle of the cleansing balms! ✨ I’ve been testing both the ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm and the #Juno Skin - Clean 10 Cleansing Balm[products]#[FiveStars] for the past few months. One is pricey, one affordable. Which reigns supreme? Well to start I really enjoy them both. They both have a yellow color with a citrus scent. The texture of the Elemis is extremely emollient and oily, almost a little goopy but does a really nice job at taking off makeup and not stripping my skin or leaving a film behind. The Juno Skin is a thicker to start but really sheers out and becomes super slippy on the skin (reminds me of the green clean texture). It takes off makeup super easily and glides around just a little easier than the Elemis. Also the Juno Skin has only 10 ingredients! The Elemis has many more than 10. Even though I enjoy them both, the Elemis is $64 for 3.7 oz, and the Juno Skin is just $14.50 for 3oz! Juno Skin definitely wins this one! 👏🏼 *both products gifted to me but opinions are honest and my own
Empties - what I would trash or restash
Perricone MD - Cold Plasma Plus+ Sub-D/Neck I have to admit, I had the older version which has now been reformulated. While this felt great with the tightening of my neck and chest, the smell was straight trash. Like caviar gone bad. 🤮 ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Bloggers constantly rave about this product. I only got it bc FFF had a deal. Must say, it firms, the gel like consistency was light. For an anti-aging effect, I would restash 👍 COOLA - COOLA Makeup Setting Spray Organic Sunscreen SPF 30 If I can find a lazy girl way of sunscreening, I’m on it. Especially the reapplication process, figured this solves my Life problems... not so much. Maybe I’m asking for too much, but I was never convinced that all parts of my face were getting the spf dose needed. Maybe if the packaging is different, my opinion might change, till then stays trashed 😒
I made it through a few products this month. VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream fresh - Soy Face Cleanser Jumbo N°7 - Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Night Cream flamingo - flamingo Daily Moisturizing Lotion e.l.f. - Keep Your Balance Toner TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum fresh - Vitamin Nectar Glow Juice Antioxidant Face Serum PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Empties are bittersweet. These are a few of my favorites. Have you tried any of these? #cheriecreatoe #whoisnee
Alternative to Retinol- drug store dupe!
What is Bakuchiol? Pronounced ba-koo-heel, is an extract derived from the leaves and seeds of the babchi plant; a common herb used in Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines. It has anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties which help to heal, calm, and soothe the skin. According to a study in The British Journal of Dermatology, bakuchiol is not only as effective as retinol at targeting fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone; it’s also less irritating. Like a retinol, it triggers skin cells to create several types of collagen that are useful in skin health and anti-aging but unlike retinol it doesn’t causes excess dryness, irritations, and sun sensitivities. Can you use Bakuchiol with retinol? If your skin is sensitive to retinol, Bakuchiol is a perfect alternative. But, if your skin is not sensitive to retinol Paula’s Choice recommended that you use them together. According to Paula’s Choice Skin advice/ Ingredient spotlight— Yes, both ingredients can be used together. “Bakuchiol’s calming and stabilizing properties let retinol work better and increase skin’s tolerance to this well-studied ingredient (1). This duo can make an impressive difference for visible skin concerns like wrinkles, dark spots, and loss of firmness.” ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum This is a unique ampule with a top layer of antioxidant and probiotic rich essence and the bottom is a moisturizing serum blend of Bakuchiol, Blue Tansy, and Probiotics. All you have to do is shake well, apply a couple of drops on cleansed, toned, skin before moisturizer and oils. It sinks so well into the skin- giving it an extra bit of moisture. And it because it is so gentle I can use it day and night. I honestly didn’t know that it has blue tansy in it! It’s a perfect surprise and I need all the calming and soothing ingredients I can get this winter. I’m not sure if it’s a dupe for any of these other expensive serums below but if you are new to this ingredients and you are in the market for retinol substitute, you can get this $20 serum at Ulta, Sprouts, or Acure.com. Or if you are feeling fancy, can use it along side these serums/ moisturizer HERBIVORE - Bakuchiol Anti-Aging Serum THE inkey LIST - Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Moisturizer BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum OLE HENRIKSEN - Goodnight Glow Retin-Alt Sleeping Crème Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Have you tried any of these serums or cremes? Let me know your thoughts/ other products I should try below. Thank you! Be Kind, Stay Beautiful.
SKINCARE: NIGHT ROUTINE BASICS!
Finally part two of my skin care basics! A lot of the steps are the same but I do have different products in those places. Let's get into it.... 1) MAKEUP REMOVER: this step is essential after a long day, look at this like double cleansing so they scheduled the service layer off before your cleanser goes in to get a deeper clean. my product: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm 2) CLEANSER: cleansing helps to get rid of dead skin, pollutants, oils, dirt, and bacteria in general but many dermatologists & estheticians recommend that you should wash your face first thing in the morning so that you can prepare your skin for any other products that go on top of it. my product: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser 3) EYE CREAM: the eye area is a super fragile, sensitive part of the face so your best bet is to apply your eye cream right away. to allow for maximum moisturization, apply first and pat around the area GENTLY! also in the AM, eye cream can help tighten and depuff the eyes. my product: BURT’S BEES - Sensitive Eye Cream 4) TONER/ESSENCE/MIST: this step can help to prime your skin to absorb active ingredients, do you research on whether you should be using a toner or an essence. shameless plug, one of my first posts is about the difference between toners and tonics, check that out for help. my products: pixi - Collagen Tonic pixi - Hydrating Milky Mist 5) SERUM(S): this stuff delivers the bulk of active ingredients to your freshly primed face! if you apply serums over thicker formulas (moisturizers, etc.) they may not penetrate as well. serums DIFFER from day to night. be sure to choose ingredients that are SAFE for the time of day you're using them. (i.e. retinol should be used AT night, vitamin c during the day) my product: PACIfICA - Dream Shot Beauty Sleep Booster Serum 6) RETINOL: as stated above right now is best used at night! i use a retinol alternative. check out my dedicated post on bakuchiol vs. retinol! my product: ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum 7) MOISTURIZER: think of this as a way to seal in everything you just did! look for hyaluronic acid & other ingredients that lock in moisture. my products: CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream CLARISMA - Cali Dreaming Cream Daily Moisturizer 8) SPOT TREATMENT: only if necessary, you should be applying spot treatment on active breakouts both morning & night to accelerate the healing process. my product: JĀSON - JĀSON Tea Tree Oil 9) FACE OIL: i have a special post also on what face oils can do for oily skin! they help trap moisture in your skin & as a protective barrier. think of it like skin care topcoat. my product: ACURE - Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil Thanks for reading! ❤️

Budget Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin!!!
I had recently ran out of my CAUDALIE - Make-Up Removing Cleansing Oil (which has been discontinued 😔) as well as my CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm and I was looking for a new, but cheaper way to remove my makeup. I'm on a tight budget right now and couldn't afford to spend $30 on something that JUST removes my makeup. I tend to save money when it comes to cleansers, moisturizers and makeup removers, but splurge on the treatments and masks. I recently bought the POND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser after Dr. Dray, a dermatologist based in Houston recommended it on her YT channel. Ponds recently came out with a fragrance free version, so her, and now I, hopped on board! About the Product 🤍 This is a cold cream, which is an oil based cream first cleanse, that feels almost like a super heavy moisturizer. It gets the job done, but in no way is it luxurious or like "top-end" first cleanses. Their Balm may be different, but it has fragrance. This does have mineral oil in it, but don't worry, it's only a first cleanse so as long as you second cleanse you won't have to worry about it lingering on your skin. But In the process it does feel quite thick and filmy. My Experience 🤍 I have acne-prone, combination skin and this works well for me. It's definitely thick and you NEED to second cleanse to get all of it off. I apply it to dry skin and it breaks down my makeup but it doesnt really emulsify well or come off with just water, which Is fine by me, my second cleanse gets the job done. This did not irritate my acne prone skin or clog my pores. In fact my skin looks BETTER now then it did using the caudalie one, which had fragrance and some other pore clogging components. If you're looking for a good, budget drugstore makeup remover that is AMAZING for sensitive or acne prone skin, then give this a try! It's not luxury, but it gets the job done!!
How I Built an Entire Routine for Under $150
For a long time I was intimated by skincare because it seemed very expensive and overwhelming. How do I know what to buy 🤷🏻♀️ When I started noticing wrinkles that was enough of a push for me to invest in skincare. Here’s some great lessons I’ve learned to build your skincare routine affordably: 1. Research to figure out what you need- here’s where my love of @cheriestarted! I read lots of reviews, advice, so I knew what type of products I should buy and what ingredients I should focus on. 2. Keep it Simple It’s easy to want to buy new products, adding new steps or ingredients to your routine, or try out the hype after reading reviews! Focus on your concerns and add slowly to give your skin time to adjust and see what’s working. It’s better to have a few great products that you love than many products you don’t use. I started with: Cleanse AM antioxidant serum, PM anti-aging serum Moisturizer Sunscreen Toners, eye cream, facial oil, and masks can be extras if you are looking to save money 3. Spend your money on the middle - if you can only splurge on one product make it the serum! This has the most benefit. Drugstore cleansers, moisturizers, and spf are great! 4. Try some great affordable brands such as The Ordinary, The Inkey List, Versed, or CeraVe 5. Buy trial size first, Value Sets or better free rewards before investing in a new product 6. Once you’ve found your Holy Grails keep your eyes open for sales to stock up, join the brands mailing list or reward program, buy value size Here’s my current skincare line-up and how much it cost me: CLINIQUE - Jumbo Liquid Facial Soap Mild Use AM & PM Bought on sale for $27 for 13.5oz CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Use PM Free from Clinique rewards pixi - Glow Tonic pixi - Milky Tonic Rotate PM Bought multi-pack on sale for $22 OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème Use AM and / or PM Bought on sale $25 The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Use AM $6.80 VERSED - STROKE OF BRILLIANCE Brightening Serum Use AM $26.99 OLAY - Wrinkle Correction Serum with Vitamin B3+ Collagen Peptides Use PM Bought on sale for $32 BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum Use PM 1-2 times per week Free from Sephora Rewards Bazaar CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator Use AM & PM Free gift with purchase from Clinique CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Instant Brightening Moisturizer Use PM when not using lactic acid Free offer with purchase from Sephora The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil Use PM $9.90 (Not pictured) currently using my kids Banana Boat Kids Simply Protect SPF 50 as my sunscreen
July 2020 Empties
Here are the products I’ve finished in the month of July. I have a small review about each product down below along with an emoji indicating whether I plan to repurchase or not. If you guys have any additional questions about any of the products, feel free to ask them in the comments. 👍 - will repurchase 🤔 - liked but not sure about repurchasing 👎 - won’t repurchase ▶️ KEEP COOL - Soothe lotion - lightweight emulsion type moisturizer that performs like a creamy serum to keep the skin adequately moisturized and hydrated. 👍 ▶️ ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream - gel cream moisturizer formulated with 5 different types of hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin. One of the best gel cream I’ve ever tried. 👍 ▶️ ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Toner - slightly viscous toner with 3 different types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate and balance the skin. Basic no frills toner that plumps the skin. 🤔 ▶️ ISNtree - C-Niacin Toning Ampoule - skin brightening treatment that uses 69% sea buckthorn fruit extracts and 2% niacinamide. Great alternative for those who can’t tolerate traditional vitamin c serums. 🤔 ▶️ Beauty of Joseon - Calming Serum : Green Tea + Panthenol -lightweight serum that uses 76.49% green tea leaf water and 2% panthenol to hydrate and the soothe the skin. Performed really well for my skin by reducing redness and irritations. 👍 ▶️ @nichebeautylab purifying gel cleanser* - daily treatment gel cleanser that helps to regulate skin oiliness, reduce sebum production, and cleanse pores. Contains salicylic acid and willow bark extract. Wasn’t drying on the skin. 🤔 ▶️ íUNIK - Black Snail Restore Serum - snail mucin based serum that claims to help with skin brightening, skin soothing, reduction of signs of premature aging, and increased cell regeneration. Lackluster results for my liking. Essentially just a good hydrating serum. 🤔 ▶️ TROIAREUKE - AGT Hydro Essence Moisturizing Gel - viscous gel type essence that’s adheres very well to skin to condition and provide hydration. Didn’t work out well for me. Caused itching and irritations after prolonged use. 👎 ▶️ TROIAREUKE - Acsen UV Protector Essence -my top favorite sunscreen for oily skin types. Can’t recommend much since it’s kinda pricy. I’ve posted a full review of this already so feel free to check it out. 👍 ▶️ THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm - affordable cleansing balm with colloidal oats and oat kernel oil to provide a nourishing and thorough cleanse to remove oil based impurities. It just works. 👍 ▶️ Dr.Althea - Resveratrol 345NA_Intensive Repair Cream repairitive cream with a gel cream like texture. Contains resveratrol and a ton of botanicals to help nourish, brighten, soothe, and heal the skin. 👍 ▶️ I'm from - Mugwort Essence - essence containing 100% fermented korean mugwort to hydrating and soothe inflamed, sensitive, and reactive skin. Skin benefits are shown gradually overtime with consistent use. 👍 ▶️ LANEIGE - Eye Sleeping Mask - watery gel sleeping mask to keep the under eye area hydrated and plump overnight. A nice but unnecessary product. Didn’t really do much for eye area. Too fragranced for my liking. 👎 ▶️ NEOGENLAB - Real Fresh Cleansing Stick Green Tea - two in one cleanser in a stick form that can easily cleanse the skin of both oil and water based impurities. Doesn’t strip the skin. Contains green tea and 13 botanical oils. 🤔 ▶️ THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum - a gentle retinol serum containing retistar which is a combination of multiple actives. Helped with controlling my acne breakouts. Didn’t irritate or dry my skin out. 🤔 ▶️ KEEP COOL - Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence SPF50+ - lightweight sun essence that contains 40% bamboo water to keep the skin hydrated and soothed. Became a favorite of mines fairly quick. Already repurchased. 👍 ▶️ TROIAREUKE - Skin Complex Formula Facial Toner Spray - lightweight watery toner mist that contains a ton of botanicals to provide strong antioxidant benefits to the skin. Not sure it did much for me other than kept my skin hydrated. Didn’t irritate or break me out. 🤔

Acne and Scarring
These photos are a year apart - I took the one on the right this morning. I am going through a transition/purge from switching my whole routine to something that doesn’t overexfoliate, overdry and overstrip like I was doing using some other products. I was beyond determined (still sort of am) to banish the acne and clear up the awful scarring as quickly and as harshly as I could just to fix my skin and after a year I have learned a valuable lesson. Time. Time will give you results. Trust in your skincare routine, don’t switch it up so desperately like I used to. Be patient and gentle with your beautiful skin because it can only take so much. I started over moisturizing and hydrating to fix my barrier, switched to a much more gentle exfoliator and a retinol that doesn’t dry the sh*t out of my skin. And look! It’s working! So instead look to nourish the skin instead of a quick fix and I think you’ll be okay 😘😘 Since this is Cherie, I’ll tag the products that work for ME! Please remember everyone is DIFFERENT and we all have different needs and results. THE TRUTH... Good Molecules Rosewater Cleanser
🌹Price: Affordable! $12usd 🌹Product Claims: A gentle cleanser to balance and brighten skin 🌹Packaging: Glass Bottle 🌹Scent: Slightly fresh scent, but not very noticeable 🌹Texture: gel 🌹My Experience: The cleanser is exactly what it says, a LIGHT cleanser. I would use this cleanser for a gentle morning wash or if I needed a midday refresh. I tried this cleanser on its own to remove my makeup but it didn’t get a lot of it off. The directions does say however, to use after a cleansing balm for a double cleanse, so I would recommend this if washing off makeup. I would definitely suggest this to someone new to skin care or even someone younger that needs more simple elements for a facial cleanseGOOD MOLECULES - Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel . But it’s not a must have in my kit! 🌹Recommend: yes ! If you’re new to skin care or need a gentle cleanser 🌹Rate: 3.5/5
GOOD MOLECULES-Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel
Restarting my Acne Journey
Hi all! This is a little vulnerable for me: I usually never post or go outside without at least a bit of makeup. BUT! I’m restarting my efforts to fix my acne with a new routine, and I know there’s a lot of people who struggle with this. So, here’s my face! I’ve been using DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel for two weeks now and the purging is starting, so hopefully this is the worst it will get. I’m hoping with continued use to see some progress and to track it here! I have experienced stinging and some severe sensitivity while my skin gets used to it, but after two weeks the stinging is dying down. I’ve been dealing with hormonal/cystic acne for 10 years now, and believe it or not this is the best it’s been in years. I’ve slowly figured out what works for me, and wanted to share those tips. BUT, if I’ve learned anything in the past ten years about acne it’s that you need to listen to your own face: even if 1000% swear by something, if it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work for you. I have super oily skin, so if you have dry or combo, the listed routine will most likely not work. But for my oily pals, here’s the routine that’s improved my skin so far: Morning: FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser I love how calming and non-stripping this cleanser is, but it still manages to reduce my oil FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry to target acne scarring Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 to protect from sun damage and irritation. I HAVE TO use a gel formula for moisturizers/sunscreens, or else I break out like crazy. That’s the number one issue I’ve figured out with my face. This one has a nice gel cream texture and is lightly moisturizing, but doesn’t turn me into an oil slick. Night: First cleanse/makeup removal with GOOD MOLECULES - Instant Cleansing Balm Second cleanse with FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser Apply pea sized drop of DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel If my skin is feeling good and non-irritated, I use LANEIGE - Special Care Water Sleeping Mask for just a bit of moisture overnight If my skin is feeling irritated/tight, I’ll use GOOD MOLECULES - Squalane Oil for a heavier hit of moisture. If my skin is REALLY irritated, I follow with Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Mist to try and calm my skin down So here we go! Hoping to see some improvements next month. Trying my best to be patient and consistent this time, which is the hardest but most important part. Thanks for reading, and good luck on your acne journey! #CherieCreator #acne #pimples #acnecare #cysticacne #hormonalacne

Farmacy Beauty 🖤🐝 Fave or Meh?
Farmacy Beauty has been a been a favorite brand of mine for a few years now. They pride themselves on their “farm-to-face” skincare as well as contributing to environment sustainability. They are also considered “clean at Sephora”. Cleansing balms are my go to method of make up removal. One of my top 2 cleansing balms is the FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm . They have two sizes for sale at Sephora or their website. A 3.4 oz for $34 or a 1.7 oz for $22. Farmacy claims it melts away make up leaving your skin silky smooth. It has a thicker, solid balm consistency (much like the Clinique Take The Day Off) which is my favorite with balms. I feel like this is really easy to apply without it getting too goopy. I tend to leave my jar in my shower and before I wet my hands or face I take a scoop and apply it all over the face. It does a really good job at getting all my heavy make up off. The only issue I have is it can make my eyes a little blurry but that’s easily fixed with a flush of water. It has no smell that I can detect. I think it’s totally worth the price and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good cleansing balm to get rid of heavy make up. A new favorite of mine is the FARMACY - Deep Sweep . Farmacy claims its an alcohol free 2% BHA toner that exfoliates, cleans the pores, and controls oil without stripping. I think the only thing I don’t like about this product is the smell. To me it kind of smells like mouthwash. To be “clean at Sephora” it has to have under 1% fragrance so it’s not as bad as it could be but I’m still not a fan. It’s a lightweight liquid that absorbs really easily into the skin. I usually use this right after I cleanse every other day. They say you might experience a tingle with this product but my face is really used to acids and I have not experienced that. It’s yet to make my skin feel stripped or dried out which I’m really happy about. I feel the 2% salicylic acid cleans out my pores and really balances my extremely oily, acne prone skin. So far I’m really happy with it. I feel like it’s really comparable to the Paula’s Choice but doesn’t have that slip the Paula’s Choice has. I would recommend this to anyone with oily skin looking for a BHA treatment. Overall I think Farmacy is a win. I’ve tried the above products, their honey potion renewing mask, honey drop lightweight moisturizer, bright on massage activated vitamin C mask, and dew it all all total eye cream. The only product I didn’t care for was the dew it all and it wasn’t even a bad product. It just didn’t do much for me besides hydration. Like they have not really let me down yet.
