LOVING this new edition to my skincare routine! The Ordinary 100% Cold Pressed rose hip seed oil has been SAVING ME! I have really oily and really dry skin so the oil helps hydrate my dehydrated skin❤️ The product clam is that it “Replenishes lost moisture, maintain healthy-looking skin, and provide enhanced barrier support” And I totally agree✨ #CheriePartner The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

“Skinsaving” Facial Oils!
My routine is all about protecting my barrier/maintaining hydration. Ever since I added these plant-based emollient oils to my routine, my skin has been incredibly moisturized, hydrated and glowy!! Bye bye dry patches!! 🌿Squalane🌿 Squalene is a lipid naturally produced by our oil glands to naturally hydrate our skin, protect its barrier, and fight against free radicals. As we age, our bodies unfortunately tend to produce less squalene. With all it’s amazing benefits, it’s no wonder why we would want to buy Squalene. However, Squalene in its natural state is not stable and is very quick to oxidization. Therefore, in order to stabilize squalene, it goes through a process called hydrogenation and it’s through this process that squalEne becomes squalane. Squalene is often found in shark liver, but luckily for ethical reasons, companies have been using plant sources for squalane such as olives and sugarcane. Protect the sharks at all cost! I’ve been using THE inkey LIST - Squalane Oil and it is completely transformed my skin! Its not greasy and it immediately softens my skin. I use it during the day and night before my moisturizer. I find that even using it once a day makes a massive difference in my moisture level than compared to not using it. My ONLY complaint is that the Inkey List’s bottle is super small and has no dropper so it’s easy to accidentally get too much product. It’s also 11 dollars for such a small bottle! So while I love it, I’m definitely switching to another brand for a better value. 🥀Rose hip Oil 🥀 Rose hip oil is is pressed oil from the seed and hip parts of rose plants. Rose hip oil contains many fatty acids which help hydrate the skin. It’s rich in Vitamin A, which helps boost collagen production, protect the skin from sun damage, minimize the appearance of fine lines, and reduce hyperpigmentation. There are a few studies that show rose hip oil can inhibit collagen-breaking enzymes. In short: Rose hip oil has many benefit! I’ve been using The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil . I mainly use it at night after my moisturizer, but sometimes I use it during the day on my makeup-free days as it gives me a hydrated glowy look! It adds an extra boost of hydration for me and it is FAR from greasy. It absorbs PERFECTLY. Some people complain of the smell, but I oddly like the smell for some reason 😅. Since adding these two oils, I have not experienced a single dry patch in weeks. I’ll be using/repurchasing them well into winter-even early spring! #Cheriecreator

does the order of skincare products matter?
hey everyone!! today I’ll be talking about the order of skincare products and why it’s important to have order with them 🌟 going off this graph, I do not use an eye cream and my routine is the “day” order for both morning and night routines. you should be applying your skincare products in order of thinnest to thickest. this is because the thicker products like moisturiser, eye cream etc, take longer to penetrate into the skin. if you were to put your thinner products after the thicker ones, then those products may not be getting their full effects. 1. cleanser helps to get rid of dirt, oil, makeup, sunscreen off of your face from the day. cleansing is the most important step of a skincare routine my favourites CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser 2. toner toner helps to reset your pH level and aids in getting rid of the excess oil, dirt etc. (you do not need a toner! for some people, this is an unnecessary step and they may not need it 🤗 ) my favourite PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner 3. serum everyone’s serum needs are different, apply your favourite my favourites NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% NATURIUM - Azelaic Topical Acid 10% The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 4. eye cream again like toner, some people love using eye cream, others don’t, it’s all up to you and your skincare needs :) 5. moisturiser hydration !! my favourites CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream 6. SPF sunscreen is super important during the day, even if it’s not sunny outside, SPF is crucial. my favourite LE TAN COCONUT SPF 15

To “B” (Oil) Or Not To “B”
To “B” (Oil) Or Not To “B”
The Ordinary - "B" Oil What is “B” Oil? A daily support formula for all skin types. It contains a purified form of micro-algae. “B” oil (B for blend) is a mixture of oils to support healthy skin, enhance radiance, fight dehydration, fight signs of aging, provide antioxidant, even skin tone, and help signs of irritation. The Blend of Oils: Squalane Marula Argan Boabab Patuau Brazil nut Inca inchi Rosehip Borage How to Use: You can use this in the AM or PM. Apply a few drops. You can use this alone or mixed with a moisturizer. Because this is an oil, apply this after your water-based products. My Thoughts: It’s green in colour, which applies clear once on the skin. It has a strong algae smell but you don’t notice after application. I find it leaves an oily feeling to your skin, so if you don’t like this then this product might not be for you. I do see a nice glow after using this product and find it very hydrating :) I definitely recommend this product. I think it could provide some lovely long-term effects.

NIGHT TIME ROUTINE FOR SKIN ✨ #CheriePartner
NIGHT TIME ROUTINE FOR SKIN ✨ #CheriePartner
If it’s anything I love it’s my skincare! I try to keep my routines as simple as possible and I love to try new things! I started using The Ordinary products about 3-4 months ago and I love them! Most of my products are from them because they are cheap and good quality. I’ve done a review before on some of their products and thoughts and techniques have definitely changed! My routine is done in 5 Steps: ✨Step 1: The peel! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I absolutely love this peel from The Ordinary! It has been helping with my hyperpigmentation and keeping my skin glowing. IMPORTANT INFO: Pls Only use this peel once a week at most and also only do at night never during times you’ll be exposed to sunlight. You don’t want your skin to burn or have an awful reaction. This is super important because it is an acid. ✨Step 2: Toner The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Normally I will not use my Glycolic toner and Peel the same night but I haven’t exfoliated in a while and that toner always gives me that extra help! Important I do not normally exfoliate twice. Everyone skin is different so pls be aware. I only use this toner at night. Not recommended for day time usage. ✨Step 3: Trader Joe’s Green Tea Extract Gel Moisturizer TRADER JOE'S - Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer with Aloe & Green Tea Extracts I love this moisturizer! I usually alternate between that and the neutrogena hydro- boost. Both great moisturizer. I do love to use The Trader Joe’s moisturizer at night because it really helps my face to not dry out overnight! ✨Step 4: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 THIS IS MY HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT! I love it! It really helps keep my face hydrated! I usually mix this with my moisturizer. I use this Acid Night and Day because it keeps me looking dewy and fresh! My skin has never been happier! ✨Step 5: Squalene Oil The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane Naturally my skin hates oil with a passion! But I knew I needed something to lock in all this hydration and I found my heart set on squalene oil. It’s super light and really locks in all the moisture on my skin! Now I only use two drops. Nothing more nothing less. For my skin anything more than two drops makes it freak out. We’ve discovered a happy medium with two lol. If you have skin like mine and want to incorporate oil pls use sparingly! That’s all for my night time routine 🌙 PRO TIP: These cute little headbands are my favorite thing to use when doing skin care! It keeps your hair out of your face and pulled back! 10/10 would recommend! I got my little piglet ears from The Body Shop for like 3 bucks! What’s your fav Night time product for your skin? Let me know! BESOS 😘

*ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin : I keep my routine simple when I use this product to avoid reactions and let it do its job. My stubborn dark marks have been fading with consistent use of this and a few other products :) *rosehip oil: This oil takes a minute to sink in, but it absorbs well into skin even as the last step. I’m less oily when I use this product and it layers well with my moisturizer without making my face look greasy. If it doesn’t work for your face, consider using it for your body or the heels of your feel. That’s how I made sure to empty it :) I usually only use a small amount of products on my face in order to avoid piling, so it takes me a long time to fully empty any product besides a sunscreen. *mandelic acid: this acid is really good for my sensitive skin. I use it whenever I have hormonal breakout or just need a little boost for my skin. Even though it is a gentle acid, I try to avoid overusing it so that it won’t dry me out again.

First attempt on the blue them
First attempt on the blue theme, I just added these two lovely products from The Ordinary to my routine. I love oils and can’t live without my marula oil. But I'm willing to give these a chance 🌱100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane 🌱100% Plant-Derived Squalane. It seems that some of you love the squalane. I bought the hemi squalane too. I want to compare the two. ⭐Their differences: The regular squalane is made of squalane. The hemi squalane is made of C13-16 Isoparaffin. ⭐The similarities: ✨non-comedogenic emollients ✨Can use on skin and hair 💙As far as the differences on your skin, I don’t know yet. I’m still testing!!! :)
