DRY SKIN TRY THESE TIPS!
Do’s and DON’Ts for DRY skin that will change your skincare life! Hello all my fellow dry skin babes. This one is for you! I’ve got to say, dry skin is relatively new to me. I always had more normal to oily skin and then I moved to San Francisco and for whatever reason my skin is pretty dry now. I’ve learned how to take real good care of my skin and maintain moisture to keep my dry skin as happy as it can be. SO here’s some DO this and DON’T YOU DARE do that tips. DO
Use a gentle and hydrating cleanser. (Milk makeup vegan milk cleanser)
If you’re going to tone, please look for more hydrating toners. (Puristry)
LAYER UP! Layer your hydration with different skincare products like serums, face oils, and moisturizers.
EXFOLIATE. Get that layer of dead skin off! all the hard work of layering hydration won’t absorb into your skin.
Use products with hydrating/moisture retaining ingredients like; Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, squalene and Honey. (Honey and Ceramide will change ya skincare game!)DON’T
Over exfoliate. This is just going to cause irritation and breakouts, so now on top of dry skin you have broken out and angry skin. Keep exfoliation in your routine for 1-2x a week.
Stay away from harsh ingredients. Ingredients like Benzyl proxide, Salicylic Acid, Alcohol etc. can dry you out, so use it in moderation.
Don’t over do it. Getting rid of dry skin takes time! Keep a steady routine and you will start to see results.
Wear matte makeup! This will add to your dry skin. My best advice is to wear a hydrating primer and then you can go in with a matte foundation. Try to keep away from setting powders. (HG Laura Mercier translucent powder is made for oily skin! Only making you dry skin babes ever more dry)
best of all, don’t be lazy. You can’t fix your skin if you aren’t consistent and keep up a routine.**Dry skin can often appear as oily skin, so if you start to get really oily and its pretty far from your normal, then keep that in mind. When our skin is so dry it starts to produce natural oils to replenish the moisture and essentially fix itself. Dry skin can be so severe that our skin starts producing these oils like crazy. I can sit here and really get into it, but I know I’ll bore you and you’ll just skip through it. So follow these go to and simple tips to be on your way to balance and “normal” skin! May the hydration forever be with you 😉 💦

A ceramide-packed moisturizer
I love any product with ceramides, so this COSRX - Balancium, Comfort Ceramide Cream was made for me. It retails for 26$ for a 2.82 oz tube (9.22$ an ounce), and this is free of parabens, artificial fragrance, mineral oil, animal ingredients, and sulfates. The first ingredient on this moisturizer is actually one of my favorites (centella leaf extract water), and that combined with the ceramide NP makes for a soothing and nourishing moisturizer that my dry skin absolutely loves. This is a thicker cream that I think is best suited for dry skin, but I definitely recommend checking it out if this fits your skins needs

Goodies from Good Molecules
I am sooo skeptical when trying out skin care products. I saw so many good reviews on this brand so I decided to try. I only been using these products for 3 weeks and I am shook!! They are really good products and they actual work. Let’s start off with my favorite product so far GOOD MOLECULES - Discoloration Correcting Serum My dark spots have faded soooo much. I can’t believe it’s not even a month and it’s doing the damn thing. I haven’t had a pimple n a few months after clearing my acne and once the pandemic began I have been getting maskne. I would say 1-3 pimples a month. I have been using this serum in my AM/PM routine and once my pimple heals there is no mark left behind. If you have a hyperpigmentation you will love this! It’s key ingredient cetyl tranexmate mesylate is what helps even out the skin. It also has niacinamide, and is fine to use with Vitamin C. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner I been on a hunt for a good toner and I think this is the one!! This is a toner is sooooo good! It has vitamin C ,abrutin, and licorice root extract which helps brighten the skin. I think it works really well with the discoloration serum. Being that my dark spots have faded so much I know these two products will leave no dark spot behind 🙌🏼🙌🏼 GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder This is a very gentle exfoliator. It doesn’t irritate my skin in any way. After using my skin looks so nice and smooth and I see a glow. It truly brightens the skin and doesn’t leave it feeling dry. After using I follow up with the toner, then discoloration serum. This exfoliator can be used up to 4x a week and a little goes a long way. GOOD MOLECULES - Overnight Exfoliating Treatment This is a pretty good exfoliating treatment. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven’t used it much. I use tretinoin at night and it shouldn’t me mixed with this treatment. So I do try to use at least 1x a week. I can say its pretty good. It’s very gentle and does not leave my skin feeling dry or irritated. Have you guys used these products or anything from Good Molecules?? If so what have you tried and how do you like them?
Super What? Let’s Talk About Superfoods for Skin
“Superfoods” aren’t just for eating. They can have benefits for your skin, too. Generally speaking, superfoods in skincare are items that provide a healthy dose of antioxidants, are nutrient-dense, provide hydration, & fight environmental irritants. Common superfoods included in skincare are berries, healthy fats (like avocado & olive oil), honey, green tea, greens (like kale), and fruits (like papaya & pomegranate). I personally love the superfood trend - there’s nothing I dislike! My super dry skin loves the added moisture & nourishment. Here are some items in my collection that feature superfoods: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser This cleanser contains kale, spinach, green tea. The greens contain vitamins C, E, & K, and green tea to help fight signs of aging. This cleanser lathers minimally and easily cleanses my face of any leftover makeup/SPF residue without leaving my dry skin feeling stripped. It does smell like greens, but the smell doesn’t stick around post-wash. I’ve finished a 2oz mini before and purchased a set from YTTP that contained another 2oz. I like it and would repurchase a full size. $36 8oz, $10 2oz FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum This AHA/BHA/flower exfoliating serum is awesome for dry skin thanks to honey. Honey has antioxidant properties and is also a humectant. This PM serum gently exfoliates, moisturizes, improves hyperpigmentation, & can improve texture & fine lines over time. I don’t use this often because I tend to have stubborn dry patches and irritation that make using chemical exfoliation unwise, but generally will use 1-2x every 2 weeks. Other skin types can use this more frequently. Mine’s almost empty and I will repurchase. $58 GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder This powder exfoliant contains pineapple, which is known for its fruit exfoliating (chemical) and vitamin C properties, and rice powder (physical exfoliant). It claims to reveal brighter, fresher skin post-use. You simply dispense some powder, add water, mix, and apply to your face. More water = more lather & less exfoliation. Love that it is customizable like that. It does smell kind of weird, like wet paper. I do feel that my skin looks brighter after use. Would repurchase. $16 cocokind - Watermelon Hemp Oil This contains watermelon (antioxidant, linoleic acid) and hemp (fatty acids) to nourish, hydrate, & reduce moisture loss. It’s a multipurpose, relatively lightweight, herbaceous-smelling oil that can use used for hair, skin, & body. I use it on my face in the PM 1-2x/wk and occasionally add a drop or 2 to unscented hand lotion when my hands are feeling dry. This does contain rosemary, orange peel, and eucalyptus extracts, so if you don’t like/can’t tolerate those I would avoid this. Mine was sent as PR by the brand, but I have purchased other things from them. Would repurchase. $14 #CheriePartner

Good Molecules Cyber Monday Haul 🧬🖤
I’m a little late with this but I wanted to post my Good Molecules Cyber Monday haul! I also bought that cute mini fridge but it hasn’t shipped out yet. Did anyone else pick that up? 🙋🏻♀️ For my haul I stocked up on some favorites and some new products. The two favorites I picked up were the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner and the GOOD MOLECULES - Pure Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil . If you’re going to use a toner I highly suggest this one! It doesn’t have any stripping ingredients most toners on the market contain. It has niacinamide, licorice root extract, and hyaluronic acid to bring moisture into the skin as well as help hyperpigmentation. It’s a complete game changer when it comes to a routine. I’m also a huge fan of their rosehip oil. It is a lot smaller than The Ordinary but something about it feels better/absorbs better on my skin. The new products to me are the GOOD MOLECULES - Instant Cleansing Balmand the GOOD MOLECULES - Vitamin C Booster Powder(which comes with a scoop!). I’m a HUGE cleansing balm fan and this has been on my list for forever. I also really appreciate the tin it comes in. I also wanted to incorporate vitamin C into my routine but I know how unstable it can be so I thought a powdered form would be a good option.
What is your Top 5 for 2020?
I think we can all agree that this has been a tough year. But, that being said, I used my time in quarantine to totally change my approach to skincare. Turning 41 this year, I know what aging does to my skin and I’ve learned so much through research about the best ways to fight it. The other huge thing I learned this year... you don’t always have to spend hundreds to find what works. Thanks to the new beauty market, there are amazing tools available and accessible to anyone of any budget. Finally! But this post isn’t about budget. This post is about the absolute best products that I fell in love with this year and intend to keep around forever! #5 - it might be at the bottom of the list, but DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Renewal Cream is my staple and one of the greatest loves of my life. Having combination skin, it’s really hard to find an amazing moisturizer that does the work I need but doesn’t create an oil slick on my face. This inexpensive and unassuming night cream is not only clean, but contains both retinol and bakuchiol... as well as allantoin and B5. Less than $15, available at Target, and the most effective product I’ve ever used for soft, smooth, grease-free skin. #4 - I never understood the benefits of facial oils until I found GOOD MOLECULES - Pure Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil this year. Holy wow. What a difference it makes. If you like soft and younger looking skin, spend the $6 and make this the last step in your nighttime routine. I never totally understood that rosehip oil is really retinol light. It encourages cell turnover and creates the most amazing texture of skin. #3 - Likely the most overlooked active in The Ordinary’s line, the The Ordinary - Pycnogenol 5% is a must have! Does it smell terrible? Yes. Is it easy to overdo and create greasy skin? Yes. But does it revolutionize your skin and it’s youth? Also YES! A little goes a long way. I use two drops in the morning and three at night, just before applying my moisturizer. It’s honestly made a world of difference in brightness, clarity, softness, and fine lines. #2 - One word, complicated definition: epigenetics. It’s pretty fascinating and I didn’t totally understand it at first. I stumbled upon StriVectin - Wrinkle Recode Line Transforming Melting Serum by mistake. It’s the only product in my entire top five over $20. But what an incredible act of serendipity this mistake was. It smells and feels like VapoRub... but you’ll not only see immediate results in deep and fine lines, even your hands look better just from applying it. It really is an amazing product. And of course, my #1 is probably everyone else’s #1 for this year. The mighty The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . I don’t think I need to elaborate much on it. I’ll just say, if you’re not using it, you probably should. It’s beyond phenomenal.

Fourth Ray Serums!
If you’ve seen some of my other reviews you may already, I enjoy fragrances in products. I think they can make me want to use a product before I can see results. However, if you are not a fan of fragrances these are not the serums for you. I have been using these for about a month and have seen some pretty good results so far. I apply all three at once, one dropper full of Rainfall, and two drops of Avocado & Aloe and Radiant. Fourth Ray - Rainfall 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum This is my least favorite of the three, I feel like a basic hyaluronic acid serum does not have to be that expensive. Instead I recommend the Ordinary’s 2% hyaluronic serum + B6 as it is almost a third of the price and adds B5. I love the scent of this serum but it’s a bit much for such a basic formula. It does a good job of bringing moisture to my skin but is a bit tackier than the Ordinary serum I recommended above. I generally feel like I have to use a lot (too much) of this serum to cover my entire face each time. I just don’t think this serum is worth it especially considering its price and ingredients. Fourth Ray - Avocado + Aloe Double Shot Face Serum I would like to say that this serum does not smell like avocados or aloe, which is great because I do not particularly enjoy the smell of either. The scent instead is fresh, more generally plant like, but pleasant all together. This is jam pack with phytonutrients which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. This serum feels nice on my skin and leaves it nice and nourished. Biggest con of this serum is that the bottle gets super oily and can leave a mark on fabric or paper depending where you store it. Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir This is by far my favorite serum of the three. I have seen a lot of improvement in the brightness of my skin since I started using it. I have seen acne scars fade and developing acne scars going away before sticking It smells like oranges and definitely has to be shaken well to be used properly. I like the formula as it is not too oily and feels like a serum still. Top ingredients are natural sources of vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and turmeric (all of which have skin tone balancing benefits. Biggest con of this serum is that the bottle gets super oily and can leave a mark on fabric or paper depending where you store it. I think for 0.5oz of each of these, $15 was definitely worth it. Give them a try and let me know what you think of them!
My affordable morning routine- with alternatives
Good Morning lovelies, So being a mom of a very busy toddler, I see these wonderful morning routines posted but 1. The products arnt affordable of 2. There are steps that are just impossible for me. Like using a facial mask it always falls off or my toddler picks at it. So here’s my easy morning routine with options of a switch up should it be needed. I start off washing my face with warm water to wash away my nighttime skincare. I then most my face with pixi - Vitamin Wakeup Mist .. I then add a dime full of Fourth Ray - Rainfall 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is like giving your skin a drink of water in the morning. I use Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum twice a day it helps with the skin barrier and pores along with skin clarity and again it’s just a dime size. my last serum is#Fourth Ray - Cactus Serum[products]#[FiveStars] cactus is known to have vitamin A which speeds up healing, prevents breakouts, and supports the skins immunity. It gives your skin a healthy glow. (I’m going to do a separate post about this as it’s so beneficial for your skin!) Moving on I use #Fourth ray - Oat facemilk[products]#[FiveStars] it is amazing for helping lock in your serums there is no fragrance so it’s great for sensitive skins. For my moisturizer I have two, in the fall and winter I use Aveeno - Absolutely Ageless Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 however during the spring and summer I use VICHY - Idéal Soleil Sport - Ultra-Light Refreshing Lotion SPF 60 because the SPF is higher. Now there are two products that are a little high in the budget but they are worth it. Both of those moisturizers are non greasy and my makeup goes on great with them I don’t have any peeling. Now 2 - 3 times a week I use Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum and #Vichy - Neovadiol[products]#[FiveStars] And that is the end of my morning routine ! It’s actually very fast even though there are around 5 products used. And I’ve noticed since I started this my wrinkles are fading my skin looks clear and smooth and my pores are shrinking. Anyway have a great day!

Lit From Within Glowwww✨😍
I recently started using these 4 products for almost 2 weeks now & I’m never turning back!!! •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask •Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I have never had such a consistent glow to my skin since starting these! I get complimented daily! I love these products so much. The two Youth To The People creams absorb so quickly & don’t leave it feeling like you have all this junk on your face either. My previous moisturizer would always pill up once I went to put anything else on my face & these don’t do that! The Glossier serum is also extremely light & doesn’t clog pores which is something I was worried about initially. It comes out in this pinkish color but it doesn’t turn your skin any other, it just gives you a dewy look. & the Youth To The People serum is amazing of course! It literally gives me this glow like no other! A little bit goes a very long way, as with most of their products. Now I just need to clear up the little bit of texture I have left in my chin! I blame it on the fact that I went out quite a bit the last week (church, grocery shopping, random errands) & of course wore a mask the whole time! Resulting in some maskne 😢 But that is just temporary! As is every blemish! I definitely recommend trying these products guys! They are HOLY GRAILS if there ever was one! @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick
Dream Eye Cream ✨💛
When youth to the people released their new eye cream this year, I was dying to try it out but didn’t want to commit to the full size. Thankfully they had a rare gwp offer with the sample right when I was going to stock up on my moisturizers 🙏🏼 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Dream Eye Cream With Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides What is it? yttp’s dream eye cream is formulated for nighttime use to hydrate, firm, and brighten the eye area Key Ingredients: goji stem cell: claims to stimulate skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles THD ascorbate (vit C): yttp loves this form of vitamin c that is stable and oil soluble superberry blend: like the dream oil and dream mask, the dream eye cream contains YTTP’s nourishing superberry blend with hydrating maqui, prickly pear, and squalane Product deets: This eye cream is completely fragrance free and has a thick texture that absorbs well. The Verdict? This is the first yttp product I’ve tried that I wouldn’t repurchase. The feel of the product is amazing and it does hydrate my eye area very well, but especially at this point in my life (I’m 28) I don’t need a lot from eye cream beyond hydration and their YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Hydrate + Firm Peptide Eye Cream , which is $13 less gives me plenty of that! I am so grateful I got a sample of this so I could ease my new product fomo and then go back to my standby! ✨ One thing to note - other than the added Goji stem cells and the fragrance removed, this eye cream has a very similar formulation to the YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask If your eye area isn’t sensitive to gentle fragrances, but you want the intense hydration and vitamin C of the dream line, you could use the dream mask around your eye area.

She is THICK!
Do you like your moisturizer thick? If so, you’ll love this vegan beauty by Milk Makeup. I’ve sampled this twice now, able to use it for up to two weeks. Although I typically like to use a product for a good four weeks, I feel I am able to give an adequate review. As I stated, Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer is THICK! It’s recommended for normal to dry skin and has a 4.5 ⭐️ review on Sephora as well as good reviews on various social media platforms. One of my favorites about this cream is it is fragrance free!!! 👏 I HAVE NORMAL TO DRY SKIN. LEANING MORE TO DRY AND A BIT SENSITIVE THIS WINTER ❄️ I found I needed about a thumbnail size to cover my face and it spread and sank into my skin quite easily. I did not find it to leave any residue at all. I do believe if you have oily skin this one is going to be a bit too much for you and you will not like the texture or feeling on your skin. My face felt completely hydrated immediately after using. Hours later, my skin still felt nourished! For me this would definitely be a moisturizer I would purchase. It’s a great option during the winter months or I could use it in the summer as a moisturizing sleeping mask. I only took one ⭐️ away as it cannot be used by every skin type and if it is in a bottle as it is, I wish they had given a spoon or spatula as it is unhygienic to use your fingers to scoop out product. $38 for 1.7 oz ——- Do you use any Milk Makeup Products? I picked up the Milk MAKEUP - Day + Night Serum and Mask Face Set and I have a Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara and Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Cleanser I LOVE the Milk Cleanser (a gift from Cherie) I’ve reviewed before and will do and updated review. I also need to do a review on all the others. I’m not a big fan of the skincare products besides the Cleanser and Moisturizer. I felt the others didn’t do much for me. I bit too gimeky and didn’t pack enough punch to see results. —— ❤️🍒
Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Cleanser
Hello Cherie Beauty Lovers! Today is the day that the truth is coming out! This Specific Cleanser by Milk Makeup is absolute horrid, and very terrible to say the least. The Vegan Milk Cleanser is by far the worst cleanser that has been tried on my skin. Coming from a Oily in summer/ Combination in Winter and Sensitive skin type. This very cleanser has made me dry like the Sahara Desert, not only that but it has given me red bumps every single time I have ever use this. I received this product in the Cherie box contest and I do appreciate Cherie company sending me this but this really isn’t suiting my skin and has not resulted in my favor. But PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD WORKED EARNED MONEY ON THIS CRAPPY PRODUCT.
A few products I’ve been testing (new)
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil Best all over oil! Such a rich, nourishing product. I have a separate review of this where I go more in-depth YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner This toner is so gentle yet efficient! Bright, toned skin! I’ve been using one by OleHenriksen that I would say is comparable but I much prefer the YTTP. It just leaves my skin so soft and glowing. It is recommended you only use this 2-3 times a week as it’s strong! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask Best overnight moisturizing mask ever! An absolute favorite! Again, I have a separate review of this! I think this one is a must for everyone!!! TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Luxe! Love this essence. I’ve noticed brighter, plumper skin since using. My face is looking so healthy since adding this to my routine. Definitely a keeper! TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser My favorite physical exfoliant. Gentle enough to use every day. I am in love with this! I typically am not a fan of physical exfoliates as my face can be sensitive but this is nothing like what I’ve tried before. A dime size covers my entire face and the exfoliating products in it I can feel but are super gentle. No sand or grit feel at all. And I love that I can use this safely as a daily cleanser FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya Still currently testing this one out/on the fence. Sometimes it works really well for me and other times, not so much. I am not a fan of the tacky feeling it leaves so I don’t think this will be a repurchase for me. I much prefer Honey Drop or even Better Daze Ahead #CherieCreator

My quarantine skincare routine - simple and short. But mostly just trying to finish up products before buying anything new 🙃 My routine during this quarantine hasn’t gotten elaborate or anything it’s probably just gotten more simple bc I’ve completely stopped wearing makeup unless I try a bit on here and there. These are some products that I’ve been enjoying and going for a lot lately! ☁️@versed cleanser- this is a great everyday cleanser for any kind of skin! It’s gentle, effective, takes out all the dirt and makeup and feels good on the face when washing. Has a nice light minty smell too! ☁️@versed brightening toner- I have dulll skin die to my hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. This toner instantly gives me brighter loling skin with a glow. I use this almost daily! ☁️@dhcskinare - this is a great oil based cleanser to remove any impurities and makeup. I use this to get out all my makeup and it works great. Even for eyeliner and waterproof mascara. It’s gentle and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean! ☁️@peachandlily glass skin serum - still continuing my daily use with this serum. The biggest difference in seeing with this serum at this point (3 weeks of use) is my pores look less visible and acne has calmed down ☁️@herbivorebotanicals pink cloud moisturizer - I’m almost out of this one.... but I’ve been using this one daily for the past month and it’s just a great everyday moisturizer for any kind of skin. It smells lovely too ☁️@ohiibeauty get fresh toner pad (brighten) - this was a random buy! These are great of your feeling too lazy to wash your face 🙋🏻♀️, for on-the-go, take to the gym etc. easy and convenient and they do a good job of cleaning and exfoliating your skin. Just use moisturizer after!

5 Step Skincare Routine?!?!
Everyone always asks me what is your skincare routine. I get a little hesitant to tell them because I do not want to overwhelm them with my 5-6 step routine. But who am I to make the decision for them. Here is my full skincare routine with my favorite skin care products at the moment. Step 1: I cleanse with my @tatchabeauty Deep Cleanse. You can use this gel cleaner everyday. It's great for normal to oily skin and has a natural fruit exfoliant to get deep and clean out all the dirt in your skin. Step 2: I use the @goodmolecules Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches I do not do this step all the time but maybe once or twice a week. These eye patches are amazing. They hydrate, firm and energize tired eyes. They come in handy whenever I've had a long without sleep. I put these babies on the next day and I look like I’ve had a full night of sleep. Step 3: I tone my skin with the @goodmolecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner. This tone is my holy grail. I have seen a major difference in the brightness of my skin. I usually gently swipe the toner over my skin with a cotton pad and let dry before I move onto the next step. Step 4 : Serum. My go to serum at the moment is the @goodmolecules Discoloration Correcting Serum. This has helped me tremendously with the hyperpigmentation around my mouth and cheeks. I do not know what I would do with this serum and definite must have. Step 5: Last but not least I finish my routine with @tatchabeauty Water Cream. I love how light weight it is. It does not leave the skin weighted down with product not to mention the amazing scent of wild rose. I’m obsessed. This is perfect for normal to oily skin and great for minimizing your pores.

A simple routine this morning: 🌝 kravebeauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser: my favorite cleanser, check out my feed for detailed review. 🌝 isntree Green tea fresh toner: 2 layers of this toner for my morning dose of hydration and anti-oxidants. 🌝 urangnatural Rose Essence + Blue Brightening Serum: if you have these two serums and have not tried the combo yet, you definitely should. Love how this essence with two drops of oil serum hydrates my skin and leaves it looking healthy, with a glow from within. 🌝 goodsciencebeauty 001-Pu cream: I like the texture, it is more like a thick emulsion than a cream, has a brownish tinge to it. You only need 1-2 pumps of this cream. I have not used it long enough to provide an in-depth review. For now, this is a perfect moisturizer. 🌝 apieu Pure Block Daily Sun Cream: I am saving all my sunscreen empties to do a comparison post. This chemical sunscreen has a gel like consistency, feels more like a moisturizer, is a cheaper alternative to my beloved Earths Recipe Sun Gel, love it and have repurchased.

Review My Nighttime Routine 🌙
✨ I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone and I also get hormonal breakouts. My skin doesn’t love fragrance and also really benefits from consistency. 🍉At night, I double cleanse to remove make-up, dirt, SPF and impurities. I typically use Farmacy’s Very Cherry Clean balm and Krave Beauty’s Matcha Hemp Cleanser which are gentle and packed with perks from Vitamin C to antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. 🍊After that, I use an eye cream. Lately, I’ve been using my mini Jet Lag mask for this purpose and love it. I find this mask to be so multifunctional and really hydrating. Sometimes I’ll use it as a nighttime moisturizer too but not tonight. 🍋Although it varies depending on the night and need that day of my skin, last night I went in with a retinol once my skin was drier after washing rather than keeping it wet for a different serum like HA, etc. I don’t adore this retinol and have a new one coming from Allies of Skin but this does a good job with cell turnover despite the questionably long ingredient list and questionable customer service/behavior of the brand. 🍏After that, I used this moisturizer by Farmacy which I wasn’t in love with at first but it is growing on me, especially for summertime where I want a bit of a lighter finish compared to some of my winter nighttime moisturizers. 🍇Then to lock everything in, I use this gorgeous oil by Leah Skin. This is an oil that actually can be paired with retinol according to the brand owner because it is a stable form of Vitamin C which is super cool. 🌈 I like this routine quite a lot minus the retinol although it does the job for now.
