Brb drifting away into my fantasy of perfect skin with no texture. . Okay maybe that’s not realistic, but innbeautyproject’s Down to Tone toner gets me pretty close to a perfect complexion. This is a chemical exfoliating toner that works pretty damn well. After just a few days I noticed a huge difference in my little bumps and dark spots. innbeautyproject has an “Even out complex” in all of their products and from my experience it really works well. I couldn’t find this toner to tag it on here, but here’s my score and some other details about it. InnBeautyProject Down To Tone LIFE CHANGING TONER ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) + helps minimize texture as a chemical exfoliant. + slight itchy/tingly feeling, but the usual that comes with chemical exfoliation. + beautiful packaging and easy to use pump for cotton round. + pretty quick results + brightens and evens out complexion. + 6-acid blend *phytic acid, malic acid, gluconolactone, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and citric acid work together to dissolve the look of rough, dull skin & blackheads, leaving you clear & radiant.* + also includes Niacinimide to help further with texture and pores. No negatives so far! I’ve been using this everyday for almost a month and my skin’s texture is liking so good! iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Down To Tone Resurfacing Toner Exfoliating Toner

DiannaRiveraI have never used a chemical toner before. Would you recommend using every day or every other day to start?

honeybriTry it out one night and see how you skin likes it and I’d even wait 2-3 days to use it again. If you skin does well with it then cut the days in between slowly until it’s basically every other day or if you skin can handle every day.

NIACINAMIDE: Trendy Fad or True Love?
We have all seen the rise of niacinamide in skincare marketing over the last year. So, what the HECK is Niacinamide? What’s it good for? Well, niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that works with your skin’s natural composition to minimize the appearance of pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, and strengthen your skin barrier. It’s a water soluble ingredient so it can pretty easily be added into an existing formula as an additional benefit. You’ll see niacinamide in some anti-aging products, but recently we are seeing niacinamide in a lot of acne-fighting and acne-preventive ingredients. Since niacinamide helps your pores, it can help reduce and heal acne breakouts. Niacinamide can be really powerful when combined with other exfoliating and/or acne fighting ingredients (sensitive skin beware!), but you should never mix niacinamide with vitamin c—their chemical makeup renders each other inactive/useless when combined. Let’s get into some niacinamide products and my thoughts on each: iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Down To Tone Resurfacing Toner Exfoliating Toner I’m rating this formula a 3/5. Acid toners aren’t my favorite as someone with sensitive skin, and this formula includes AHAs, BHAs, Niacinamide, as well as a ton of other ingredients. InnBeauty Project touts this as a P50 dupe and they so say on the bottle to only use this 3 times a week. It’s just too much for my sensitive skin I think. It’s also $26 for 3.4oz so it won’t last more than a month or so with consistent use. I just think there are better options out there. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster this one is FIREEEE. Like. Non ironically. This product has become one of my holy grails in the past year because of its ability to mix into my serums and moisturizers without issue. It’s a 10% niacinamide formula without anything else to really give you the true benefit without overdoing it in your routine. It’s kind of pricey ($44 for .67oz) but you only need 1-2 drops of it and my partner and I have been using it consistently for 6+ months and we still have some left in our bottle! I highly recommend this to oily and/or acne prone skin types. SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask I’ve talked about this product before—how it’s incorrectly marketed as a hydrating mask when the first few ingredients are “polishing.” Niacinamide being one of them! It’s my favorite “bright and tight” overnight mask and I’d recommend trying a sample or mini size before investing in a full size. I’m on my second tube and I use it 2-3 times a week strictly as an overnight mask. 5/5 (even though it’s $48) SUNDAY RILEY - Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask this one is my lesser known favorite. The sulfuric component helps get rid of painful acne while niacinamide helps keep it away. It’s pretty expensive ($55 for 2oz) but has an 18 month shelf life. I use this 1-2x monthly. 5/5 #CheriePartner

EXFOLIATION 101! How, what, when & why!
PHYSICAL VS CHEMICAL + SERUM VS SCRUB VS TONER! Which will you choose?! Hi everyone, welcome to Exfoliation 101. Let’s jump right into the lesson! 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭? Exfoliation is the removal of old and dead skin cells on the surface. AKA it’s how you get rid of dry, flaky, and crusty skin. 𝐰𝐡𝐲? Exfoliation removes the layer of dead skin cells that often clog our pores and keep our skin care products from penetrating deeper into the skin. Essentially, you should exfoliate to reveal brighter, softer, and healthier skin. Your serums and moisturizers will perform a lot better. 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧? 2-3x a week MAX. Over exfoliation can cause irritation and breakouts! I personally only exfoliate 2x a week for my dry skin. 𝐡𝐨𝐰? PHYSICAL - granular particals like powders, sugar, oatmeal, fruits.. etc. * scrubs can often be abrasive and do more harm than good. Always be gentle, stay away from your eyes, and don’t over do it. I recommend physical scrubs that have granular particals that are gentle and or dissolve. CHEMICAL - Acids in the form of serums or toners! * There are many types, so read below to find which one might fit your concerns best. Skip a few days in between use and WEAR SPF! ✦ AHAs > Glycolic & Lactic Acid. * works on the skin surface. Mainly helps skin texture. Can be synthetic, but mostly derived from fruits. ✦ BHAs > Salicylic Acid & tropic Acid. * deeply penetrates pores, helps skin texture & unclog pores and remove excess sebum. Ideal for acne prone skin. ✦ PHAs > Gluconolactone & Lactobionic Acid. * less irritating. Doesn’t penetrate as deep as AHA/BHAs 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬↴ GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder The best gentle physical exfoliation. + made from rice powder! Just add water and start to *gently* scrub away. + also includes pineapple enzymes for some chemical exfoliation as well. + great for sensitive skin & exfoliation beginners. + brightens and smooths. + all skin types. + affordable! $18 FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum Multi-tasking overnight serum with chemical exfoliation BHAs + AHAs and more. + great for texture, hydration, brightening, and clarifying skin. + helps enlarged pores, fine lines, wrinkles, breakouts, dark spots, firmness and skin elasticity. + 14% AHA, BHA, flower acids. + NIGHT TIME ONLY. + rich and silky texture. + doesn’t sting or burn! (I have sensitive skin) + $58. Best bought in a set for a bargain. iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Down To Tone Resurfacing Toner Exfoliating Toner Chemical exfoliating toner + 6 acid blend ( basically BHA + PHA ) + exfoliates, clarifies, and brightens. + helps with acne, texture, & dark spots. + use on cotton round. + Use 2-5x per week at night, work your way up to daily use. + tingles + $22

Oily skin? Toners that actually work
Oily skin? Toners that actually work
✨ FAVORITE TONERS ✨ I have really sensitive skin which was hard for me to look for the "perfect" toner. I've tried so many and I have finally found my staple pieces 🥰 Products: @olehenriksen GLOW2OH Dark Spot toner, I would usually use this whenever I see some post really dark acne scars that I need to lighten up and this toner always works well with my combo to oily skin. It is filled with high concentration of AHA (glycolic and lactic acids) which helps smoothen skin and get rid of tough dirt under your skin. @versed Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Solution is what I use on my lighter post acne marks that are not so visible and to help some of my hyperpigmentation. It contains Vitamin C (which is a plus) and four-acid complex which can help naturally brighten your skin. • I use both alternatively, depending on how my skin condition is on a certain week or day. ☺️ In addition: I used to produce so much oil on my t-zone area but I swaped some of my old toners for these babies! My pores and oil production has definitely lessen, I'm so happy I did the switch! It genuinely takes some time for you to see some results, it took me about a good 2 weeks for me to really see the outcome! Goodluck babes! 💋

Good Molecules - Niacinamide Toner
Good Molecules - Niacinamide Toner
GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner I love this toner so much! It was gifted to me & I’ve been using it at least 5 times a week since! Good Molecules is one of my favorite brands because of the ingredients + price. Ingredients — arubutin — licorice — vitamin c — antioxidants — niacinamide Claims — brighten and smooth skin — even skin tone — alcohol free — less visible pores My thoughts — $14 is a STEAL for this product, as it has helped my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation ! — I think it’s perfect for all skin types, and I have combo sensitive skin. — I have noticed less visible pores, but not as much as I do when I use other pore reducing toners. — Skin is overall brighter when I use this! I don’t use it all the time because I’m worried about using too much niacinamide. I know it’s safe for daily use but I also use other products with niacinamide. — non irritating on me but I have heard that some people experienced breakouts due to the licorice? — 4/5 only because I wish I saw more improvement!

Review : Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner. Skin Type : Combination Skin This is not a sponsored review, I bought the product from my own pocket. 😃 First, I would like to thank @shofon.official because this is where I buy my Korean skincare products. 🔘I have chosen to try this toner because I watched and read many positive reviews from this product and the brand itself. So let’s get to this. 🔘Packaging wise it comes with a spray type bottle which I think so convenient because you can just spray it directly to your face. And the bottle is made from a very nice plastic material which you can bring anywhere, so handy. 🔘I have been using this toner as a part of my morning routine. This is my daily acid exfoliator, the product has ingredients mainly the AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) will exfoliate the outer surface of the skin and BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) that penetrates the inner layer of the skin unclogging pores it has also antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties which prevent the skin from getting acne, and another benefit of this is it reduces the appearance of blackheads, whiteheads and blemishes. 🔘So far this product works well for me, I never had breakouts the moment i started using this. I noticed that when I apply it to areas that I have pimple it easily dries out. It doesn’t have any smell which is very good for me. It will not make your skin dry at all and it doesn’t have any sting sensation after applying this product. This is a very gentle toner 👍 🔘I also noticed that my skin looks much more brighter, some of the pigmentation is gone. But you need to have alot of patience before you see the results. Please be sure to use SPF when using in the morning! 💵Price point - it’s affordable. Final Verdict : ✔️I am definitely continue using this amazing product and will repurchase it ✔️I am very happy and satisfied with this amazing product and I want to recommend this to all who have the same skin type as mine ✔️Great for beginners because this is mild

AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner
COSRX-AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner
{Oily + Combo} Niacinamide Brightening Toner
{Oily + Combo} Niacinamide Brightening Toner
⭐️ The what: This is the niacinamide brightening toner from Good Molecules. Good Molecules is available on the Beautylish website, as it is their house brand. ⭐️ The details: This toner is designed to promote visibly brighter skin, help with evening the appearance of skin tone, and shrink enlarged pores. This toner is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, cruelty-free, and free from tons of other “nasties” (aka things you don’t want in your skincare). Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps to take your skin from dull to dazzling, shrink pores, and strengthen your skin’s barrier. Licorice root soothes active inflammation, and arbutrin helps reduce visible signs of hyperpigmentation. Last (but not least), vitamin C helps fight against free radicals and promote collagen production. This toner can be applied via your preferred method (ex: cotton pad) or your hands both AM and PM. This product is excellent for those with oily, combo, and sensitive skin. ⭐️ My thoughts: I cannot stress my love for this enough! I’ve used toners in the past that have not done anything, but THISSSS. I’ve been using those for several months (you can see it’s 1/2 gone) and my skin has not looked better.y My favorite way to apply is with my hands (to reduce waste). I simply pour two drops out and gently pat onto my face, then follow up with the rest of my skincare. I do use this AM and PM. The texture of the toner is very watery and does not leave my face feeling sticky, dried out, or greasy. I absolutely have noticed my skin looking brighter, a reduction in the small amount of hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and a slight shrinking of pores near my nose. Something additional to note is I’ve had a reduction in acne. I think this toner is incredible and I will absolutely repurchase when I’m finished with it. ⭐️ The price: $14 for 4oz. Mine was kindly gifted by the brand, but this is a holy grail item for me and I plan to repurchase myself. 5/5⭐️

Niacinamide Brightening Toner
GOOD MOLECULES-Niacinamide Brightening Toner
Cheap Glow Must Have!!
Cheap Glow Must Have!!
I have combination oily skin that occasionally gets dry when the weather changes or just randomly when it decides to. My skin concern is acne scars (why my skin looks dull). I mainly have them along one side of my cheek. I received the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner as part of a giveaway I won on Instagram and another one as part of a PR package from them. . Key Ingredients: Niacinamide (visibly brightens and improves the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, dullness and blemishes), Licorice Root Extract (Soothes inflammation and inhibits excess melanin production), Naturally Derived Arbutin (improves the look oh hyperpigmentation), and Stable Form of Vitamin C (boost’s skin’s ability to defend itself against free radical damage and promotes collagen production). . Scent: None . Consistency/Texture: Liquid . Price: $14 for 120 mL / 4 fl oz . Experience: I have been using this a couple times a week for two months and have noticed an improvement in my acne scars! I use it typically 3-5 times a week (sometimes in the morning, sometimes at night, depending what else I’m using in that routine). After using it for this long and often, I still have about a fourth of the bottle left, so it definitely lasts a while. I’ve used it with both cotton rounds and as suggested using your hands and patting into skin and enjoy it both ways. It doesn’t sting or hurt at all, I love that it’s an alcohol-free toner. I’ve also noticed that even though I’ve still gotten some breakouts, I haven’t gotten as dark of scars afterwards. . Repurchase/Recommend: Definitely, it can be used AM and/or PM. It targets all of my main areas of concerns, like uneven skin tone, dullness, and visible pores, while also strengthening your skin barrier’s function. It also corrects the look of hyperpigmentation and soothes inflammation, while having Vitamin C! My skin seems to love this, plus I love how it’s so budget-friendly, will definitely purchase it!!

GOOD MOLECULES-Niacinamide Brightening Toner
Best Toner?
Best Toner?
Good Molecules came out with this affordable brightening toner within the last year and I will say that I LOVE it. It does what it says and my face had never been so radiant. Though I don’t think it did much to fade my acne scars, I wasn’t really expecting it to. However, it did help with texture and dullness. A definite repurchase!GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner
