Caudalie Hydration Set Review
💦My favourite is the serum I love how it keeps my skin hydrated and happy! It’s lightweight and non greasy since I do have combination skin I love how perfect it is! It also absorbs very fast into my skin and it drinks it all up! The moisturizing cream is good too after I apply the serum I layer this on top and especially when I know the temp will go down to -30 this is just enough for my skin to be extra moisturized and hydrated! The beauty elixir omgoshhhhh keeps my skin so refreshed that I can’t live without it, when I need that extra dose of skin refreshers I use it and to be honest it’s kinda addicting 🙈 .

Favorite affordable products to add to your routine that really work
Summer is coming, it’s nearly shorts and tee weather. I have noticed how dry and sad my skin is, horribly dull-looking with flaky patches; and this, combined with the fact I’m broke, is making me really depressed. So I decided to do something about it. Taking some time out of my day to find some products that really work and won’t break the bank wasn’t easy. I read all the reviews and ordered these products online and within a few days I could see the results! They were so good I had to share them with you. Face - Caudalie Beauty Elixir This product is amazing, it really hits dry skin hard! Do your usual cleansing routine and then add it at the end before your makeup. Caudalie is known for making hard-working products at an affordable price and this is no exception. It smells amazing, feels like silk on the skin and the result is radiant, glowing, plump skin. Suits all types of skin that need hydration and the best effect is that it tightens the skin, making you look more awake - even younger. Love it! Great price to just $12 for 30ml on Amazon. Nuxe Ultra nourishing lip balm Winter has really taken its toll on my face and lips. My lips looked horrible, dry, and cracked. Something needed to be done, fast! Enter Nuxe Ultra nourishing lip balm. Massage this balm into the lips; its gorgeous thick and creamy texture gave me instant relief. You can also use it as an overnight mask to wake up with smooth, nourished lips. Seriously good at $10, you can’t go wrong. Caudalie hand and nail cream When getting my nails done recently the manicurist commented on how dry and sore my hand looked, and she gave me a great tip. Caudalie hand and nail cream is brilliant. It nourishes, protects, and repairs dry hands. It is not greasy at all and smells amazing; a delicate perfume of musk, neroli, and ginger - seriously good, and at only $9.50 you can’t lose! If anyone had told me I could sort out my dry skin for just over $30 I would not have believed them, but it’s true and you can save more money by ordering the bigger sizes. So what are you waiting for? After all those summer cocktail
This beauty elixir has not worked well for me either, it causes me burning when applied. Caudalie is a clean brand that uses essential oils in some of its products. Many people don’t recommend essential oils for topical use as they can cause irritation, photosensitivity, etc. TBH I really believe that the ingredients (essential oils) of this product are the cause of irritation or maybe alcohol. It smells delicious and many people recommend it but it didn't work for me. CAUDALIE - Beauty Elixir
Skincare routine for my sensitive skin!!
My skin type: sensitive & acne-prone skin STEP1: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser I have used it for a month, and I seriously love this stuff, super gentle on my sensitive skin! It's a silky formula that leaves my skin very soft. I only had a few minor breakouts, but nothing like I had before. The bottle is pretty big, so it'll last me a while, but I'll be repurchasing this once I run out! STEP2: Darphin - INTRAL Toner I have sensitive skin and have always had adverse reactions to toners, so I skip them. However, I love the intral cleansing milk, so I was curious about this toner and saw such good reviews about it helping others with their redness, so I asked for a trial size of it from a store. After using it each day, I had to buy it. It's easily the most gentle and soothing toner I've ever used. It reduces my redness and feels calming to put on. STEP3: CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum I love this serum! Whenever my face is irritated, I apply it before bed, and by the next day, my skin is smooth, and the serum helps to calm the breakout or tired skin. It is gentle, hydrates, and works well for sensitive skin. It did not fix my dark spots altogether, but it does even out the skin a little. Give it a try :)

Emptyyy This was the @caudalieus vinosourse SOS hydration serum, that was part of a trio I was gifted a while back. First things first, key ingredients: Squalene and Hyaluronic Acid, Dimethicone, Grape Seed Extract and Grapefruit Water. What I liked about this product: I loved that it had HA and Squalene in this, it definitely was very hydrating and the dimethicone, topically made my skin look smother. Also there was no strong smell in this that’s normally distinctive of Caudalie. What I’m meh about: The grape stuff, haven’t seen any research on the benefits or drawbacks, so can’t comment. What I disliked: it still contains fragrance (not a fan). And I went through this so freaking fast! The full size is $49, so that’s not sustainable financially for me. Bottom line: I seriously enjoyed using this, had noticeable results; skin was more hydrated, clearer (due to sustained levels of hydration), worked great under makeup and I’m sad that it’s finished. Also it doesn’t smell disgusting (unlike the beauty elixir 🤢, ik ik unpopular opinion). I’m still unsure if I’ll repurchase this because I definitely have products that I like better and that are more cost effective. Have you tried Caudalie? Which line, and did you like it?
Caudalie Vinosource SOS Intense Hydration Cream
LOVE this moisturizer! I’ve been using this cream for about a month now and I love the way it makes my skin feel. It’s smells fresh and deeply hydrates my skin in this cold weather. I use it both day and night. This thick moisturizer is perfect for anyone with dry skin. 100% recommend. #caudalie CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer
Moisturizer great for sensitive skin!
Caudalie’s Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Moisturizer Function: To intensely moisturize skin for even the most sensitive skin (for normal, dry, sensitive skin) Target Concerns: Redness, dullness, uneven texture, dryness. Texture/Consistency: Creamy and thick-ish My overall experience: I started using this 3 weeks ago, when I was gifted it, and I absolutely love it! I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother it at all, which is hard to find! I’m definitely going to be using more and more especially now that the weather is colder! Did I like it? YESSSSSS!!! I love this moisturizer! (my boyfriend even asks to use it, and he never wants to use skincare products lol) It keeps my sensitive/dry skin nice and hydrated without making my face feel or look oily! It locks in all the moisture all day and I don’t have to reapply any moisturizer!! Would I recommend it? YES YES YES!! I would totally recommend this for anyone who has dry skin that may be sensitive! (obviously do a patch test just to be sure, cause ya never know) Worth it? For 1.6oz/50ml it’s $42 and honestly that’s not a bad price considering other products that might not be as effective and great for my sensitive skin! It also makes my skin feel soft and hydrated which I obviously want!! For sure worth it for me! CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer Highlighted ingredients: Grape seed polyphenols- antioxidant Grape water- soothes & moisturizes Squalene (my skin loves this!)- nourishes BONUS: Vegan Cruelty-free Gluten-free RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
It’s no secret that I love @caudalieus which is why I was so excited when #mycaudaliegiftedme their newest SOS Hydration Kit! 💖 🍇 First of all let me just say that this set is such 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 price $59 (value $𝟗𝟏) their Vinosource SOS thirst-quenching serum alone is $49 along with the Mini beaut elixr that I spray on my pillows now before bed for an extra soothing spa feel & as a nice face hydration throughout the day! 💖 🍇 🍇 This beautiful set also includes their SOS Intense moisturizing Cream that is beyond amazing & adds so much hydration to the skin that will #saveyourskin !! They are all made with hydrating grape ingredients! This one is a bit smaller than the full size but not by much!! 💖 @mycaudalie
If you have dry skin you need this in your life! The @peterthomasrothofficial Water Drench Line has been a savior to me. And yessss you need all 3! The moisturizer you guys know I’m obsessed with it it feels like a cloud! It’s somewhere between the texture of gel and a cream. The serum keeps me hydrated all day and night, it’s been helping keep my skin balanced as the weather down here is 40 degrees in the morning, 80 in the middle of the day and 60s at night 🙄. I think to me it’s thicker that usual HA serums but not so thick it doesn’t sink into the skin. Also kudos to PTR team this toner/ face mist in one is a dream! Every hydrating toner needs to have a spray bottle. I love how fine the mist is. And I use it in place of an essence too! Which makes the spray nozzle all the better. This is definitely great for anyone with any skin type. I also love that this whole line is fragrance free making is perfect for sensitive skin.

Skincare Favorites ✨ I am going home this evening and am so excited to see my siblings, my parents, and my grandparents! 🥰 I’ve been loving the products and they’ve been keeping my skin hydrated and less dull! The drbarbarasturm hyaluronic serum is so amazing, it leaves my skin plump and ready for the next layers, and a few nights a week (I’m so scared of over exfoliating lol) I’ll use a small amount of the sundayriley good genes which really does help exfoliate my skin beautifully and never leaves me feeling extra dry. I’ve especially been loving the caudalie vinoperfect glycolic night cream* which gently resurfaces but hydrated deeply with one of my favorite ingredients, squalane! I don’t use it in conjunction with the good genes bc that’s a bit much for my skin, but on the nights I do use the night cream, I definitely notice a smoother complexion!

I've been testing lots of new goodies! This time is for Caudalie Ultimate Hydration Duo: SOS Serum + SOS Cream and the Earth Month Clean Caudalie Favorites kit. This is a new brand for me and I was excited to dive in head first! Caudualie makes products vegan, non-toxic, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive skin and free of all fillers, synthetic chemicals, gluten, and GMOs. So obviously, this is my style and i'm here for it! Here are some simple reviews on a few of my favorites: Premier Cru// the texture of this eye cream is thick out of the tube but melts into your skin. The finish is not greasy and is great for day or night. Beauty Elixir//As a primer this can be used to prep the skin but it also works as a setting spray to keep your makeup in place. It has essential oils and is also a censorial experience. I like it--but if you have issues with EO's this won't be your fave. Vinosource S.O.S. Cream// I love the light, unique smell of this cream. It is intensely hydrating and has been my go to on nights when my skin needs to be soothed and hydrated. And this color calls my naaammmmeee.
Empties! Here are speed reviews of each skincare product I've actually used up to the very last bit and the answer to that important question - "Would I repurchase?". Caudalie Moisturizing Toner - I've used it as my morning and evening toner, it's refreshing and makes the skin feel awake and hydrated. I enjoyed this one and found that it gave a good boost of hydration and lightly scented. However, I found Indie Lee CoQ-10 toner that I prefer because I think the ingredients are more clean and natural that just feels better on my skin. So there won't be a repurchase of this for me. HerbivoreBotanicals Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist - It's my second bottle and I actually purchased the third one already. So I guess that answers the question of whether I'd repurchase it or not. I feel like I've spoken about this product so many times already, but basically it's a hydrating facial mist that you can spray on after cleansing or whenever you like during the day. It's such a great makeup refresher and general skin picker-upper. LaRochePosay Toleriane Ultra Eye Contour - I'd heard a couple of good things about this cream for sensitive eyes. It's definitely the one that soothe my eyes when it was irritated by retinol. It's not greasy and good for day time under makeup too. So, there will be a repurchase of this. SensatiaBotanicals Indian Fig Finishing Dream Cream - I can't believe I finished this one, because it's such a thick cream inside this little jar that lasted me for months! I only use it at night, since it's heavy and a little bit greasy. It certainly leaves my complexion comfortable and content. The heavenly smell is what keeps me going back to this every night. I just feel like there are better ones out there with lighter formula. So no repurchase from me. SKII Facial Treatment Essence - Basically it's a hydrating water-type product that you slap on after cleansing and it preps my skin for whatever I put on next, whilst dousing it in a layer of dewiness. It's golden, I love it and I will continue to buy bottle after bottle all the while my skin drinks it up. BUT, I read so many review comparing this essence with Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence, so I currently trying it. So far I think I go back to SK-II (spoiler!). TheOrdinary Marine Hyaluronics - Even though the smell is not very enjoyable, actually I quite like having a bottle of this hanging around. It's hydrating and leaves my skin completely plump. But because the smell, I won't repurchase this, instead I will get the original HA 2% + B5 from The Ordinary or continue using For Skin's Sake HA serum as they both work as wonderful as the Marine one.

AM skincare routine, trying out some newbies this morning! Aren’t they beauties! 😍 ⭐️ Lani Hair Tropical Coconut Face Polish ⭐️ Commleaf Skin Relief Soothing Toner - first use. This is a watery consistency. It feels silky when applying to skin. Very hydrating. Has a light menthol scent. ⭐️ drunk elephant C-Firma Day serum This has such an odd scent! A bit like fusty fruit 🤣🙈 ⭐️ drunk elephant C-Tango Multivitamin eye cream I adore this cream! It really irons out and depuffs under eye creases. ⭐️ commleaf Skin Relief Fresh Serum - first use. Same menthol scent, it’s a runny consistency, very light, absorbs really well. My skin was visibly plumped after. ⭐️ commleaf Skin Relief Moisture Cream - first use. Menthol scent again, weightless gel texture, very cooling, very hydrating although left my skin very tacky after. Wasn’t to keen on that but wasn’t a huge problem as I was applying SPF after. ⭐️ soleil toujours Mineral Sundcreen Glow SPF 30.
