CHICA Y CHICO - Killing Star Cleanser Product Claim: This facial cleanser promises to eliminate a second cleanse, by combining both an oil cleanser and foaming wash in one (from yesstyle.com) Texture: Gel consistency but oil feel Price: $16 My Experience: This cleanser is very different from the many that I have tried. This cleanser is a 2 in 1 cleanser, meaning this cleanser can be used as a one stop! I tried using it as a single cleanser and also as a double cleanser and I think that for my skin this cleanser would be used as a double cleanser. When I used it as a single cleanser it dried out my skin a little. This cleanser has jojoba seeds which allow for a gentle exfoliation. The texture is a gel - oil like but when massaged into the skin it foams up slightly. This cleanser does have a low floral fragrance, which was fine with me. I personally don’t reach for this cleanser because like I mentioned it dried my skin out and also left a bit of oily film on my face. Would I recommend it? NO! I have tried multiple other cleansers which i would say are more effective and also have a better ingredient list.

Yes to fixing my barrier!!
Krave - Great Barrier Relief I have combo/sensitive skin. Because my skin is sensitive my skin barrier can get wrecked every now and then and then my products hurt to use and it will open the gate up for more acne. Ever since using this product, I feel like I haven’t had that problem once. It honestly is becoming a holy grail!! Tbh I was surprised by the scent. It’s like nutty??? It’s not bad at all - I was just surprised!!

Oatly good - that doesn’t make sense lol
Krave - Oat So Simple Water Cream I have combo/sensitive skin. OK YALL. I am not really one to go for gel moisturizers because I feel like they take longer to sink in and idk I just don’t gravitate towards them.. however, I’m just so intrigued by all of Krave’s products so I had to buy it!! I’m honestly so glad I did. It’s gentle, gets the job done, and it’s lightweight but still doesn’t leave me feeling dry. I’ve been using it at night as my last step. Definitely recommend.

worth it? viicode vs patchology
Hi guys! Today I’m going to be talking about some eye mask/patches I’ve used and whether or not I think the more expensive option (Viicode) is worth it. Cost: — The Viicode masks come out to about $9.16/pair of eye masks. — The Patchology masks come out to $3/pair, so you can get three Patchology masks for the price of a Viicode one! Application: — The Viicode patches are meant to be worn for up to 8 hours, or overnight. They tend to not slip around very much and are very sticky. — The Patchology patches are meant to be worn for only 15-20 minutes. They all tend to slide around on my face unless I put a sheet mask on top or stop moving. Claims: — The Viicode patches are overall plumping and brightening, and of course luxurious. I think they are rather hydrating and the effect lasts all day after I wear them at night. I didn’t think they were going to work as well as they do. — all of the Patchology patches I’ve tried are good but not great. They are brightening and plumping a bit, but not the most hydrating, and the effect doesn’t last super long throughout the day. Worth it? Both are worth it! — I think the Viicode patches are worth the price, but it’s not something I can afford all the time. They are a very luxurious set that I use before social events or important work events (and I can see myself using them on my wedding day!). — The Patchology masks are much more accessible and affordable comparatively. They are not at all the same caliber of product compared to the Viicode, but that’s okay! In this case, they are great for every day or twice a week use. Good for mornings when I wake up looking a mess! Will be trying @zitsticka’s newest product: Skin Discipline for the next 30 days. I typically don’t see noticeable changes from supplements and don’t invest in them, but I think I’ll be able to tell if I like this one more easily. It claims to “minimize breakouts, regulate sebum levels and balance skin-supportive bacteria” along with other benefits.⠀ ⠀ Personally, I think $36 (subscription) or $44 (one time purchase) every month is a little pricey for me. According to @zitsticka, the first month of taking these is only when your skin is getting acclimated to it, so you’ll see subtle changes. I’m going to keep a close eye for these changes and maybe by the end of the month I’ll be a little more convinced to keep going 😅 nevertheless, I’m excited!⠀ —⠀ gifted

Bite Foundation - not worth the hype
The last hyped product I tried was the Bite Changemaker Foundation, and unfortunately I was disappointed. I wanted to LOVE this! I am a huge fan of bite and I had seen so many glowing reviews. It is a medium coverage foundation with a natural finish. Bite is known for their clean lipsticks, and this was their first venture into the complexion space. What I love about bite is their use of food-grade ingredients and naturally derived ingredients. My skin has dry patches mostly around my nose, mouth, and chin. On the areas without dry spots this foundation looked BEAUTIFUL! However on the dry areas it did cling and emphasize texture. The deal breaker for me, however, was the scent of the product. I am not totally fragrance-averse. I am ok with it in some products. However the actual scent was atrocious! It smelled musty and moldy like a dirty dish rag. And the smell did not fade once applied. It lingered all day long! It was honestly gag worthy. Needless to say I returned this one! BITE - Changemaker Supercharged Micellar Foundation
