Updated Night Routine!

hannahgarritty
I had a lot of empties in January, so here is my updated night routine! I have a post detailing actives that I use and my schedule around those actives, so they won’t be included in this post. My first step is my double-cleansing step, I use the Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Makeup Removing Meltaway Cleanser
(📍)to remove SPF and makeup, which I really love, it’s very unique, but it doesn’t break me out at all. Then I use the LANEIGE - Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser
(📍) to cleanse a second time, I really enjoy this too, my skin tends to freak out when it comes to Laneige’s fragrance, but this is fragrance-free!! After cleansing I steam my face with the Dr Dennis Gross - Pro Facial Steamer
which I feel like has really helped the hydration levels of my skin. After that I’ll apply the TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener
(📍)which I also like, but I’m not sure how much it’s really done for my skin for what it’s worth. I’ll steam again, for about 30 seconds and then go into my PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum
which is the only serum that can truly repair my moisture barrier when I’m breaking out. Then my eye product is The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
(📍)which I’ve been loving a lot too! My current winter moisturizer is the Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream
which again, I like, but it feels like it puts a barrier on my skin, which kind of felt weird to begin with. After moisturizer, my last two steps are to treat any breakouts or spots with the Murad - Blemish Control Rapid Relief Spot Treatment
and use something to lock it all in like the The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil
it does the job, but smells super weird. The only way I’ve been able to describe it is, picture the olive bar at a local grocery store, and the smell that comes from that. Not super pleasant, but it’s okay. 📍= product was sent to me for free

🥰About to try something 🆕🥳
NEIBOURHOOD BOTANICALS - The Daily Glow Facial Oilhas been on my radar after a friend raved about it during a exceptionally long FaceTime call. I saw it on sale and decided to purchase it. I was running out of my two facial oils -The Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil and The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil - and maybe I need to try something new. I’m hoping it lives up to the hype!

💦Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 💦
Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50* kept coming up on my radar for quite some time now. If you know me, you know I believe sunscreen is very important when it comes to a skincare routine. The one I was using ( Coppertone - Pure & Simple SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion ) was good but that white cast starting getting worse. It even staying longer periods of time when I started adding The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil to my morning skincare routine. I needed something different kind it’s no white cast and is lightweight with little smell. I decided to at least try this sunscreen due to great reviews I found online especially for POC and before I buy from a brand I do not trust. Today, I am on day 5 of using this product and I’m impressed so far. It leaves my face feeling matte but not a skin drying type matte. This feels like a hydrated fast absorbing moisturizer. I have never experienced this when it comes to a sunscreen and it is a refreshing feeling. It doesn’t have an overwhelming scent which I can truly appreciate because certain fragrances from products irritates my nose as well as my skin. In my short time using it, I absolutely love this product so far. I’m hoping it lives up to my expectations in the weeks to come. *Im not giving this product a rating yet until 4 - 6 weeks of using it. I’ve only used it for a short amount of time so this is my initial review. Please be patient. I will update as soon as I can. Thank you.

These are my ride or die
So, I have an autoimmune disease and I tend to have lots of inflammation. That being said, when I wake up puffy like a blow fish 🐠.... these are my life savers ! The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG this little baby packs a punch! De-puffs and gives my eyes a wake up call!! It is unique in that it is not a cream. At first I wasn’t sure, but I’m hooked. One drop on each eye does the trick. Easy to apply, smooth and silky! Wake up those peepers with this little bottle of magic 🪄!! mizz bloom - JADE ROLLER this is my go to in morning to drain my lymphatic system. I keep mine in my skin fridge, so it is nice and cold! Add my serums and then have a nice little roll! De puffs my face and helps with contouring. T

Hey whoever is reading this please rate my skincare routine I need to know if it’s okay or not thank you.. 🔆PM🔆 First I start with the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser This cleanser is amazing for my skin it cleanses very well and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stretchy after words. Then I follow up with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this product is really great but I feel like it stop working for me for some reason. After that I go in with RADHA BEAUTY - Rosehip Oil I love this oil so much not only does it fix your complexion but it heals your skin of any kind of damage. I have only used it for about a month so far I like it. Next I go with CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I don’t really have anything to say about this one I’ve used it for almost a year now and had no problems with it. After moisturizing I use sun bum - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 this is an amazing sunscreen super lightweight, use it everyday. Then to finish it off I apply The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I’ve used this one for quite a while now and I haven’t really seen much of a difference unfortunately I might stop using this one so please recommend me something for dark circles. Ps: I use this product for dark circles. 🌙 PM🌙 After I shower I don’t cleanse again because technically I’m cleansing with just water in the shower. I go in withThe Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque love this product the way it cleans your pores and leaves your skin feeling smooth is just great. I only use this product on Friday’s. Then I use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution only on mondays once a week. Then I use The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 this product is amazing it feels really nice in the skin. Then I follow up with The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' After that I use CeraVe - Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum I use this for my dark circles but sometimes I’ll use it on my entire face. Then I go back with the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Please someone tell me how this is I really need to know if this is okay ....

Top 2020 Skincare: Moisutrizer
I saw this happening on Insta and thought it would be fun to participate on Cherie! All month I’ll be posting my top 2020 skincare essentials in accordance to the schedule on the 2nd pic, so follow me if you want to see all my faves of this year! Up next- MOISTURIZER! 💛Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream I talk about this cream a lot, but that’s because it’s played a huge role in repairing my barrier and reducing my irritable skin’s sensitivity. It’s thick, has ceramides and shea butter, and is packed with herbal antioxidants that lend to the wonderfully calming scent. While this is a great cream for normal to dry skin, I am also acne-prone and it does not clog up my T zone or make me oily. This winter, I have been using it day and night! The only issue is that with the cooler weather, it has not totally stopped my cheeks from getting dry overnight, so I’ve been layering a bit of Aquaphor over those areas for extra occlusion. It’s also not cheap, but I’m willing to pay for a well-rounded moisturizer since I rarely use serums.

CUROLOGY UPDATE✨🪐
Let me provide some context about my skin care journey: This past August, my Tik Tok algorithm brought me to the world of skin care. Without ANY prior knowledge, I decided to throw my skin into the hands of skin care influencers (and when I say throw, I mean THROW...HARD). I had mediocre skin, and mainly suffered from comedonal acne but not much active, cystic acne. I went hard with SA, adapalene, and HARSH chemical exfoliants, ultimately destroying my skin barrier and causing a major purge... my skin had never looked so bad in my entire LIFE. Fast forward to October, I decided to start Curology. Originally, my formula consisted of 2% Azelaic Acid, 1% Clindamycin, and 0.25% Zinc Pyrithione. I simplified my routine, and focused heavily on restoring my skin barrier with nutrient rich moisturizers. After about 3 weeks, I decided to reach out to my Curology provider and requested that I start Tretinoin... I felt like my formula at the time just wasn’t worth the price and I wanted the full Curology experience if I was going to be paying $20 a month. My new formula consists of 0.01% Tret, 4% Azelaic Acid, & 1% Clindamycin. Left picture is back when I started Curology with my og forumale (Oct. 19th) and the right picture is now (entering my 3rd week of Tret). Slow but efficient progress. My biggest mistake with skin care has been being impatient, and going hard with harsh products when I didn’t see results right away. Everyone’s skin is different, skin care is NOT linear and I’m slowly learning more and more about my skin. Don’t give up!!! Find what works for you😊 My routine now is as follows: AM: 🧼Splash of water to “wash” my face 🧼LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Duo (+) so far LOVING this as a spot treatment... only giving it 4/5 because it’s too soon to see results, but I love the texture and how easy it absorbs into my skin (not irritating/drying at all) 🧼Elta MD UV Restore Broad Spectrum SPF 40 5/5 stars... LOVE this new sunscreen and I mix this with Australian Gold - Botanical Tinted Face Sunscreen SPF 50 for some tint since mine is too dark for me PM: 🧼LANEIGE - Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser I use this as a first cleanse and I love that its fragrence free but I wouldn’t use it if I had a full face of makeup + it kinda leaves a residue 🧼VANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser this is amazing... simple, to the point, overall gr8 cleanser 🧼Aveeno - Calm + Restore Triple Oat Serum I use this to buff my tret and so far I’ve had no irritation 😊 🧼 FINAL STEP: I mix my LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer with my Curology - Curology formula and I’m ready for bed 🛌

LANEIGE Cream Skin Oil Cleanser
This cleanser is a two in one for me. It removes makeup (because it’s an oil cleanser) but it also works great as a gentle morning cleanser. Personally, I prefer to use it as a gentle cleanser. Even though it’s an oil cleanser it doesn’t do too much of great a job at removing make up. It removes liquid products, mascara, etc. but I feel like I have other make up removing cleansers that do the job better. So, I prefer to use it as a gentle cleanser. It’s perfect for the morning where I don’t need anything too harsh. It glides smoothly over my skin and leaves it feeling hydrated. . . . . gifted

Top Cleansers of 2020!
Starting off with my top first cleanses because it’s important to double cleanse!!! Top Oil Cleanse: TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser This cleanser is one that I won’t stop talking about. It’s a great texture that emulsifies easily and doesn’t leave a film on my skin at all. It’s pricey, but it’s an experience. Top Cleansing Balm: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm I picked this up while travelling (sigh... early 2020...) and I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. I’m very much one to not buy into the hype of products, but now I understand why there is so much hype! It’s a sorbet texture that emulsifies and doesn’t leave a film on the skin! Top Misc. First Cleanse: Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Makeup Removing Meltaway Cleanser (📍) This is a new find from me, but none the less, it’s amazing. This cleanser is very unique, because it’s one that you don’t have to rinse... let me explain. So this as a milky cleanser that melts away face and eye makeup or SPF, but can we wiped away with a face cloth, like a Makeup Eraser. I honestly didn’t think that this would work, but I’m actually very surprised by this. I was sent this product by the DDG team and am featured in a video on the @ddgcanadateam instagram using this cleanser, go check it out to learn more! And now with the second cleanses. New Favourite: skinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser This was actually more of a new find because I began using this in September. At first, I was confused because of the “foaming oil cleanser” title. I went to use this as my first cleanse one night and it went horribly. Now that I know that this is a second cleanse, I use it almost every night. This and my FOREO - LUNA fofo (📍) pair amazing together. OG Favourite: comfort zone - comfort zone Essential Cleansing Milk I got a facial done around May, and the aesthetician used this product, I instantly fell in love. This does have a smell to it, but it’s so lovely. This is gentle and hydrating so I don’t have to worry about my skin being dry, red and irritated. Love this stuff!

Not the usual makeup remover
I have been testing out 𝘋𝘳. 𝘋𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘴 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘏𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳 from few weeks now. So what is this product basically and what does it do? This is an oil-free, nourishing cleanser that completely dissolves waterproof makeup, dirt, and oil without stripping the moisture barrier. Hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Loaded with hyaluronic acid, sea grapes, kiwi, and aloe, this hydrating, lightweight formula melts away the day’s impurities and stubborn, waterproof eye makeup while preventing moisture loss. My Experience with it: I use it as my first cleanse cleanser. It has been great at removing makeup and spf without stripping my skin off natural oils. Sometimes with nourishing cleansers my skin doesn’t feel clean but that’s not the case with this one, it removes all the makeup & dirt. It hasn’t broken me out. You don’t need rinse after this cleanser, just wipe it away. It has a jelly/pudding type texture and a sweet faint scent to it. The thing I love the most about it is the packaging, it’s so convenient. I love the tube packaging over jars any day! Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Makeup Removing Meltaway Cleanser

My skincare (normal to oily sensitive skin)
My current routine! I have ups & downs & some I want to improve but this is what it’s currently at! Not pictured: TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder Absolutely love! Was going back & forth between this version & the one for oily skin but this one is juuuuuust right for my picky skin!! Pictured: (in order of use) TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Omg-it’s a game changer! This stuff may just look like fancy water (lol who am I kidding-I use evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray so yeah-THATS fancy water but I love it! lol) but this stuff is 100% the real deal! I’ve noticed that products glide one & I don’t have as much of the shiny effect after putting on my skincare routine! Yay! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum Ok so warning on this one-you’ll never use a full pump unless you share with 2 other people at the same time-this pump is stupid-I hate it but the product so far has done a good job & hasn’t made me run to go find a new one right away-could it be improved...? Yeah-but it’s a good option for me for now 😊 also-I don’t like using this by itself cuz it’s drying... so for a fix to that I added.... DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream One again-you don’t need a full pump unless you’re sharing-no one has that much surface area to cover with this...ugh. This is the step that was missing when I just was using the firming serum-this is hydrating & goes after because it’s thicker. The combo works for me. Would I rather have 1 product? Yes. Would I rather have a better pump that doesn’t portion out share sizes of product? Yes.... am I rushing to Sephora to find a new one? Ha! No.... Curology - Curology formula My 2 cents on those people who hate this? It’s not for you & that’s ok! But dang does this work for me!! It’s a must have!! Love it!! -or- never and DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I haven’t used this enough to rate but this is supposedly suppose to help with dark spots & pores? We shall see tester size...we shall see... TATCHA - The Water Cream Omg moisture heaven! Smells like a spa, glides on like a dream AND has gold in it? Sign me up! This stuff is amazing-I love it & it does wonders for me! Add ons! TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK Not in love-good for dry spots or singular areas every once in a while but meh-not worth it & not a fave of mine. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Also-not in love. Is it nice when I’m dried out? Yeah! Does it last? Nooooot really? Meh-I have it I’ll use it & I won’t buy again... TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ Meh-this is just....meh. Again will use it up & not rebuy....

LED LIGHT THERAPY MASK
Everyone who’s used this kind of mask has seemed to love it so far. Picked this one up from Amazon for $40! It’s crazy considering you have celebs ripping people off and charging an outrageous $200 for literally the same mask I got for a quarter of the price. So far I’ve used it for less than a week and I’m really loving how well my acne has been improving along with my new and simpler skincare! My AM and PM routine are: TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener slurp - Niacid slurp - Hyaluid Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel With this simple routine my skin has been making a huge turn around and my acne and some scars I have are really starting to heal up beautifully. For now I’ll continue to use this for the next month consistently to see how well my skin improves. Update: used the mask for a while and noticed no difference, the quality was just not there. Not to mention there’s was an issue with the unit turning off way before it was even done. I would not recommend this product at all. Save your money and buy a high quality led light therapy mask or hand tool instead.

How to properly apply Hyaluronic Acid? 🧐
First thing first? What’s is hyaluronic Acid? It is also known as hyaluronan, is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced by our body. The largest amounts of it are found in your skin, connective tissue and eyes. Its main function is to retain water to keep your tissues well lubricated and moist. Hyaluronic acid has a variety of uses. When used in skin care products like creams and serums, hyaluronic acid brings moisture to the surface of your skin, Because of its ability to draw and hold water, it can be used as a humectant in your skin care regimen. The HA within our bodies holds a thousand times its weight in water to not only retain all that moisture in our skin and joints, but also prevent all that moisture from evaporating into the air Promotes Healthier, More Supple Skin and many other things, depending how you are using it! ‼️‼️‼️Now how to properly use!‼️‼️‼️ hyaluronic acid needs to be combined with a water-loving lipid to truly hydrate the skin. If not applied in conjunction, the hyaluronic acid could actually be drying out your skin. Hyaluronic acid works by drawing moisture into the skin through its water-attracting (humectant) properties. But without a layer of moisturizer on top to act as a barrier (especially if your skin is already dry or you're in a climate with low humidity), the hyaluronic acid can actually draw moisture from your skin—hence the subsequent tightness. So it is best to apply your serum right after washing you face on a damp skin or by using right after your essence or toner!!! Also, a little tip, I stopped using towels and just letting my skin dry on its own after washing my face! It has helped me so much as towels retain dirt and bacteria. Plus, it reminds me to hurry and apply my HA right after before my skin dries 😉. These are by far some of my favorite hyaluronic Acid serums! I hope this helps! Is it worth it? 🤔
I love most of the PTR products I have tried but is this serum which is $65 for 1 OZ. 😳 worth the money? Since The beginning of my skin care journey I have tried probably 10 or so hyaluronic acid serums. I absolutely love the ordinary’s and good molecules which are significantly cheaper. Let’s look at the details: PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum Details: Highlighted Ingredients: - Hyaluronic Acid Complex 75%: Attracts and retains water to help moisturize skin. - Pentavitin®: Provides up to 72 hours of hydration. - Sodium PCA: Lightly and naturally hydrates skin. Free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances. Directions say to apply to face and neck as needed for hydration. I used this a.m. and p.m. right after cleansing on a damp face. (Applying hyaluronic serum to a damp face is important because it locks in the moisture.) I am not sure what exactly is so different about this serum but this feels like applying liquid silk to my face. It absorbs so much quicker than the other serums that I have tried and leaves my face with more of a plump. It does not leave my face sticky for any amount of time. It also pairs well with my niacinamide powder. It doesn’t take a whole lot of mixing. Is it worth it? I do believe it’s worth it and I would definitely buy this if on sale. We all know how much I love T.J. Maxx and I believe that they have these every now and then. So I will definitely keep my eye out there. Have you tried this? What is your favorite HA serum?

If you could only buy 2 from Kiehl's, they would be...
Kiehl's has some amazing products. I really like Kiehl's. But I highly highly recommend you to try these two products.  Kiehl's - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution Many reviews have said it doesn't do much but it works well for me. I use a full dropper of it every day and night after applying toner and I'll softly massage it into my face and neck until it's fully absorbed. I've been using this solution for half a month and it's brightened my skin tone and lightened my acne scars. It's very sticky, but it's runny and spreads easily. This dark spot solution really shows results. It doesn't cause acne breakouts, is not irritating, and it's affordable too. It comes in a transparent bottle which means that it's not photo sensitive and is safe to use. Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate has an oil-water texture and a refreshing scent that's nice to smell before bed. I normally use half a dropper of it, rub it between my palms before pressing it onto my face and it feels really great. It doesn't cause breakouts and lightens acne scars to a certain extent. Although it's not oil free, it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy the next day. After long-term use, your skin will become softer and more delicate. I think these two products are the two Kiehl's skin care products that are most worth buying.

Texture A little bit does go a long way. The serum is very spreadable and absorbs into the skin quickly. It does leave a sticky residue on the skin but it goes away after applying moisturizer. Price $118 for 1oz!!?!?!!?! that is CRAZY. I feel like you are paying for the packaging as it is very aesthetic. Effectiveness I don’t notice any difference in my scarring but i am not getting as many active pimples which is why i’m not mad about the price and product. Overall The product doesn’t do exactly what is says it does but it is still a great product. I wouldn’t say that it’s my holy grail but i would consider buying it again. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. When Names Deceive You
When Names Deceive You
Have you ever looked at the name and description of a product, then after trying it find that it wasn’t what you thought it would be? Yeah, that’s how I feel about this OFRA - Fruit Acid Lotion I recently received this for testing through Octoly. Based on its name and description, I thought this was an exfoliating...lotion. Sort of. Now, hear me out. This isn’t a bad product - it just wasn’t what I expected. This toner contains lactic, malic, and citric acids (all AHAs) to exfoliate, correct dark spots, and balance oil production. It also contains rosemary leaf, green tea, lemon, and orange extracts. The product has a very thin, watery consistency. Not at all like a lotion! It smells absolutely awful - like chemicals. I applied with a cotton ball and went in with my other PM skincare after the product sunk in (which was quickly). The name truly lead me to believe this was going to exfoliate, balance oil, correct dark spots, and add moisture to my skin. I will say, I did notice an improvement with dark spots, old acne scars, and texture. I don’t have issues with excess oil production. I tested this product 2x/wk for 3 weeks. I don’t find myself wanting to reach for it now that I’ve finished testing it because of the smell and fact that it is a strong product, not the gentle one I thought it would be. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the caveat that it’s name doesn’t accurately reflect what the product will feel like. If strong smells bother you, this is not the product for you. I have dry skin and was able to use this, so it would likely be fine for oily and normal. Sensitive may want to stay away due to the strength of the product. I feel the price is fair for the small amount of product needed, but I don’t think this is something I’d buy. Price: $22 for 1.2oz. Availability: ofracosmetics.com

Favourite barrier recovery serum for breakouts
Favourite barrier recovery serum for breakouts
If you’re acne prone and on retinoids, this an amazing multi-tasker. I started my differin journey 2 months ago and was in dire need of a serum that calmed breakouts but also repair my newly sensitized, damaged barrier. By Wishtrend - Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule I would classify this as a calming antioxidant serum that aids in acne recovery. It sinks into the skin instantly and leaves a slightly dewy finish. This does not feel sticky or heavy, but instead gently nourished and less irritated. I only need 3 drops to cover my entire face and use it overtop an azelaic acid serum. This definitely helps speed up the healing process of my breakouts and keeps my skin healthy, hydrated and supple. I wouldn't rely on this alone if you're dealing with acne, but use it more as a supporting recovery serum alongside tried-and-true actives like salicylic acid or azelaic acid. It truly put By Wishtrend on the map for me and I'm excited to see what other products they come up with. Yes it's a pricier ampoule but this bottle will last a while since a little goes a long way. I will definitely be re-purchasing this when it runs out!

HADABISEI - Facial Mask 3D Aging Moisturizer They say what you do to your skin in your 20s will show in your 30s. So, it’s never too early to start using moisturizer in your skincare. I was sent this product to try, and I’m happy to say it’s GREAT to achieve glowing skin. It aims to fight aging and moisturize skin. 🍋 MAIN INGREDIENTS 🍋 Collagen~ this is the main protein in the human body. As we get older, we lose collagen, which causes skin to sag or wrinkle. By putting collagen directly in your skin, you’re helping it retain its elasticity. Citrus Limon (Lemon) Extract~ known to brighten your skin (in small amounts!) Lemon has a mixed reputation in beauty because straight lemon juice can irritate your skin and make it sensitive to the sun. But lemon extract mixed in small amounts into other products can work as a gentle astringent. This product website description says it helps soften skin keratin so the product can be absorbed better. 🍒 APPLICATION EXPERIENCE🍒 The box comes with 4 sheet face masks, each in its own pouch. I used two so far~ one on my face, and one where I rubbed the moisture on my hands. When I took the product out of the pouch, it felt heavy on my hand. It’s not just moist, but soaked in a gel-like moisturizer that’s clear and fragrance-free. It smells very clean, which is nice for those who are sensitive to fragrance! They recommend leaving it on for 15 minutes in general, but 20 minutes if you have dry skin. I put it on and laid back~ the mask felt like a cooling blanket on my face, and released the tension from my forehead and jaw. I also liked how it didn’t miss any part of my face, even getting a little but of my under eye area. After 10 minutes, I felt my face tingling. I looked it up, and found out fruit extract (like 🍋) tends to make your skin tingle. That’s a sign that it’s dissolving dead skin cells and exfoliating your skin. And it didn’t hurt my under eye region, so I think it was a gentle product. IN SUMMARY: It’s a tingling, relaxing, gel-like texture face mask. Fragrance free, smells clean. Happy with this product 💫 🍇 MY SKIN: BEFORE AND AFTER 🍇 I applied the mask after showering. I didn’t put on any moisturizer yet, so my skin was clean but not shiny or dewy. It was borderline matte. After the face mask, my skin was an ocean of moisture. I rubbed the leftover product into my skin to deepen its effect. I’m glad the mask is so generous with product~ I used some of it to moisturize my hands, and it made them look healthy! An hour later, my skin looked healthy and glowy. It has a humectant effect, so the moisture stayed for hours after until I reapplied moisturizer before bed. IN SUMMARY: It revitalizes dry/ freshly washed skin into an intense glow. Also a lot of bang for your buck 👍🏼 🍉 WHO IS IT BEST FOR ? 🍉 If you’re getting off a long flight or have very dry skin, I think this product will be great for you! Also if you have sensitive skin like me 🌟
