I was super excited to try out
I was super excited to try out these luxurious goodies from votrevu. All their botanically-based products are formulated at a lab just outside of Paris, France (though the company itself is American). I've been very impressed at the formulations -- the textures are elegant and luxurious while feeling very moisturizing. I got to try out the Best Regards White Lily Cleanser and Toner, as well as the Caviar Serum. The cleanser is a milk/lotion cleanser and I freaking LOVE it. I like milk cleansers as a rule because they don't strip my skin like many foam cleansers do, but it's hard to find one that strikes the perfect balance between being moisturizing, yet rinsing off clean. The Votre Vu White Lily Cleanser nails it and is my go-to morning cleanser these days. It also has an incredible fragrance that smells like jasmine and other light florals. I think some will find the scent too strong but I actually really like it. The Best Regards Toner is a mist that includes sodium hyaluronate, and it's a really refreshing watery toner that works well as a first layer. In contrast, the Caviar Serum is a rich emulsion that includes squalane, caviar extract, as well as a host of flower oils, and it's very moisturizing and nourishing. The Votre Vu team also sent a couple of their super convenient Baby Duettes -- these are a hand cream and lip balm in one tube, which is perfect to throw in your purse. I've been trying to streamline the gazillion bottles and tubes I have in my bag and this is perfect.

THE MOST HYDRATING BODY WASH
THE MOST HYDRATING BODY WASH
hey guys long time no see! had to find myself and get through some tough family things. anyways onto one of lushes newer body products: LUSH - NANA 🥺🍌✨ highlights of this product include: the most hydrating shower gel I have used from lush. a strong caramelly banana scent, but not strong once on skin!! includes great ingredients like sea salt with exfoliating properties! 😬👎🏽a downside i have encountered is, unfortunately it is very expensive i bought the 8.4 fl. oz and it was $25!! which is up there for a smaller bottle of product. 🛀🏻🚿ways i use this product is sparingly due to it being $$, but i use it with a non-plastic loofa to lather all over my body as well as help exfoliate! i don’t use exfoliating products everyday just to give my skin a break and build skin, without tearing it down constantly! so that are some of my recommendations for useage🍌 😊🥰i do believe this product is a must if you are a hardcore lushie though, due to the fact smelling delectable and being eco-conscious!

I received these in my last raffle box and am completely in love. These are “grown up” bath bombs with jasmine and rose as well as jojoba oil to leave your skin smooth and soft and make you relax. They smell amazing and like most bath bombs have a chalky like texture. What I love about these though is that after you get out of your bath there is no residue left behind like some others. I think the $30 price point is worth it. You get six in a jar which is $5 a bath bomb. This is right along the price point of almost any other one. The scent combination of jasmine and rose is also extremely relaxing. I give these five stars. OUAI - Chill Pills

the best bath salts
the best bath salts
I’m not really well versed in baths, but I love these ESTELI - Ojo de Aqua Soaking Salts - Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang + Green Clay ! I used them first when I had some side pain; my rib cartilage got inflamed and the only thing I could really do was pop ibuprofen and rest. I didn’t have a heating pad so while I was waiting for my man to bring me one, I got into the tub and poured these in. Honestly, the warm bath helped a lot. And I really enjoyed having this product in my bath, too! It made me feel relaxed and calm and it smelled really nice too! It didn’t give off any color in the bath or even make my skin soft, but it relaxed me, which is what I really needed! The main ingredients are Ylang Ylang, green clay, and palmarosa. The green clay is supposed to soften your skin, but I didn’t notice anything unfortunately. The main salts are epson and Dead Sea salts, and I thought that was cool. It’s $28, and I think it’ll last for 6-7 baths! I use a lot in mine because it smells so nice haha.
