Glass skin? Uhm YES!
This mist is so fun to use. You can use it with makeup or on its own! I tend to use it on bare skin for a natural glowing look. It is a fine mist that moisturizes, nourishes and helps fight damage. It also helps fight irritation and calm the skin. I will be posting a video a little later of me using this before makeup application! Makeup glides on after using this to prep the skin. Time is seriously running out if not for SIORIS☀
Hi y’all so it’s been a long minute since my last post, mainly because second year of medical school has been crazy. I constantly feel like time is running out of time and I found it so ironically fitting to write this quick post about my favorite summer mist (toner/facial oil combo): sioris - Time Is Running Out Mist There is nothing like the magic hour glow I get from using this mist! You all know I love an afternoon skincare reset and this toner-oil combo is seriously my 2-second facial prep before reapplying my sunscreen! When I’m seriously in a pinch with time, this is the first thing I’m reaching for. The packaging and aesthetic alone will calm me down. Not to mention how hot it’s been out here, SIORIS saves my parched face! So glad to have upgraded from those water squirting fans from Walmart to this lovely bougie-looking (but totally affordable- $18) mist. Ingredients include soothing goodies like allantoin, beta glucan, macadamia seed oil and licorice root extract. I will say that there ARE perfuming ingredients although I don’t notice the smell too much. It’s not overwhelming at all but if you’re looking for a scent free product, this one is not for you. This is honestly a feel-good product! I can’t say it replaces any of the toners I’ve been raving about for ages, but it is so perfect for a two step summer skincare routine- (1) mist and (2) spf. 🥂 cheers and stay cool everyone!

NOT WORTH THE HYPE 😑
✨your follows and cheers mean so much 💛✨ I’m so confused by this product, I recently purchased it and as you can see from the photo there are no sunscreen claims on the bottle. Which is confusing because on the Sephora website it said it is SPF 15 but I’ve seen other bottles with the SPF claim on it. I was also under the impression that FDA requires you to list it on the bottle ??? No where on the bottle or box does it say it’s SPF. It has zinc oxide in the ingredients, but doesn’t list its effectiveness ? Maybe I’m missing something ? I was really hoping to find a great moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF, this is something that is missing in my routine and would love recommendations if you have any. Here’s my review on the ALGENIST - ALIVE Prebiotic Balancing Moisturizer SPF 15 💪🏼 |PERFORMANCE| Meh, left skin feeling greasy and shiny. Didn’t find it ‘hydrating’ or ‘balancing’ 🤲🏻 |TEXTURE| for a moisturizer I was shocked how close the consistency to regular sunscreen it was. This moisturizer when on thick and white and took FOREVER to soak in and even when it did my skin just looks SO oily for the rest of the night. 👃🏻|SCENT| the products was unscented 💦 |INGREDIENTS| this product is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban. And is also Vegan. Contains algae prebiotic which helps re balance the skins natural ecosystem (prebiotics are the food probiotics thrive on to be more effective) 💸 |VALUE| this bottle was $53 for 50ml. Which is a total pass for me, way to much money for something that doesn’t deliver. I’m all for paying the price for good sunscreen/ moisturizers but this was not one of them. Womp womp.

boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer I bought this product at Costco when it was on sale (under $15 ... it seems to be going for $38 at Sephora now ... however, the product has since been discontinued at Costco and in my opinion, for good reason). Since I’d seen this brand at Sephora before, I thought it might be good and the price was so low for such a large moisturizer! I desperately wanted to like it, and when I used it the first time, I thought, “Ok, this reminds me a little of those aloe gels. Maybe this could be good.” Sadly, this moisturizer didn’t do anything for my skin. The thing I hated the most about it (and my mom also agreed) was how sticky it left the skin feeling. In addition, my face was soooooo dry, meaning I don’t think it was moisturizing it at all. The worst part was that my skin became oily and flaky at the same time! I feel bad about not using it anymore but maybe I’ll use it on other parts of the body instead.

A Farmacy Beauty product I’ve not talked enough about. FARMACY - Honey Savior All-in-One Skin Repair Salve is truly a savior! It’s a fix all for any of your skin aliments. My favorite ways to use this are for my dry hands and feet as well as a lip balm. I had a blister pop up from a walk the other day and putting this on it healed it within two days! My daughter also loves using it as a facial cream. It gives her just beautiful glow. There is really nothing this balm can’t do! Place one in your medicine and another in your beauty cabinets and you’ll be set! . I’m very excited for Farmacy’s new product release tomorrow! Any guesses?!

📣 𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒅. 𝑳𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒅! And by party, what I really mean is... dancing my b-u-t-t off in my jammies while doing my skincare routine with youth to the people products! 😂🤣 What are your plans for the evening? YTTP kindly gifted me this amazing set and I literally SQUEALED when it happened because this is a brand I truly, absolutely love and will not hesitate to repurchase over and over again. I love so many of their products. But, Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream was one I've not tried before. It's actually a product I've gifted to my mom a long while ago and its been her holy grail cream ever since. I've repurchased it for her about 3 or 4 times now. And I never realized why she loved it so much until now!! It's such a smooth, creamy, and hydrating product and it's so comforting on the skin. Hm, I knew that crazy lady was onto something, LOL! Oh and the mist? Well, that's another must have item for me now, too! I am (clearly!!) addicted to it and can't seem to stop using it. 😜🤟

i was on the hunt for the perfect PM moisturizer- and this little baby was that product for me! my skin just soaks this stuff up. my skin has always been a fan of rose water (the main ingredient in this moisturizer) so i had a feeling that this was going to work for me. honestly, when i run out of my current am moisturizer, i’ll probably use this in both the am+pm, because it is just that good. i know there has been some controversy around this product in the past as far as the longevity of the ingredients, but i have not had any issues thus far. you all need to try this little baby and let me know if you love it as much as i do!! 💞HERBIVORE - PINK CLOUD Rosewater Moisture Creme
