It's highly calming and soothing to irritated skin and also
So excited for this texture 😍! I'm so excited to try the Midnight Blue Calming Cream! It's been on my wish list for years! I'm also happy to get a chance to try the Youth Activating Drop - I didn't feel like it made a huge difference in my skin when I used it about a year ago but I'll definitely give it another shot. And I haven't had a chance to try the sheet masks so that should be fun! These products all feature guaiazulene, which is an extract derived from chamomile. It's highly calming and soothing to irritated skin and also acts as an antioxidant. I'm kind of loving these single brand beauty boxes! I feel like I'm able to test them better without feeling overwhelmed, and then I get to discover a new brand or really get to form some opinions about a brand.

P.m. skincare routine. Suggestions ?
Here is my pm skincare routine. Started to care about my skin couple months ago only. Never had major issues but fine lines are starting to appear and let’s face it, I was bored during quarantine. I wanted to give double cleanse a try but had trouble finding a drugstore cleansing balm. I came across cocokind - Oil to milk cleanser and was pleasantly surprised. Works okay on make up and is gentle with nice ingredients. I wish the gliding would be a bit more smooth though. I can sometimes feel some pulling and tugging. 🌾 I follow with sioris - Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser as I like milky cleansers. This one is fine especially in colder weather but I sometimes feel like its a bit heavy and not deep cleansing enough. I prefer LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser but have run out. 🥛 I then follow with a first essence and a toner. People always say they are not essential in your routine but they’re actually my fave step. Adding soothing and hydrating ingredients without any heavy/greasy texture (I damaged my skin barrier after over exfoliating). I'm from - Mugwort Essence & COSRX - Propolis Synergy Toner are the ones I’m using right now. My skin agrees with both and it calms down any redness or tight feeling after cleansing. 🐝 I wanted to try snail mucin and was missing a small amount for free shipping (I know you feel me) so opted for MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream . Haven’t seen any results on the fine lines around my eyes yet as its only been a couple weeks but the texture is amazing and light and silky. 🐌 Once a week I will use THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum . Will step up to two times a week very soon. Just started my retinol journey and almost made the mistake to go with a 1% OTC retinol. Boy am I glad I did some research. This one is 0,05% retinol. Would really like your recommendations for a next step retinol for my next purchase :). I end the routine with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion . Really love this. It has niacinamide which is nice because I don’t use it in serum form. I have it in my am toner as well and its just enough for me. Would maybe wanna switch up for a heavier moisturizer for winter if you have any suggestions. Cerave is always sold out in drugstores so wanted to try something else when I run out. Please feel free to recommend products you like. I will mention I use I'm from - Honey Mask and dear, klairs - Midnight Blue Calming Cream on nights my skin feel really bothered (like the night after I used the retinol) I adore the mask but will not be repurchasing the klairs cream. Its a bit overpriced and overrated in my opinion. I will gladly pay less for a similar white “less instagramable” cream. Any suggestion for this one as well? 🍯💙
My Favorite Korean Skincare Products
🇰🇷 Korean Skincare has been gaining traction in the U.S. over the last several years and rightfully so. Korean skincare is typically affordable, effective, focused on hydration and sun protection, and several years ahead of the U.S. in trending ingredients. My combo dry skin LOVES the focus on hydration and I personally really enjoy a longer multi step k beauty routine. I typically et my k beauty products on YesStyle, Wishtrend, Amazon, or Sephora if it’s something like Laneige or Glow a Recipe. Here’s some of my favorite K Beauty products I currently have on rotation: (From top left to bottom right) 🇰🇷 Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream: A very rich, barrier replenishing moisturizer for when my skin is dry or irritated. 🇰🇷 Glow Recipe Plum Plump Serum: An antioxidant rich gel texture hyaluronic serum. I use this daily. 🇰🇷 Mauve Fantastic Ever Cool Kids Never Sleep Cream: A water cream with some loud 80s packaging that I am LIVING FOR. This is a good dupe for the Tatcha Water Cream. 🇰🇷 Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm: A barrier replenishing cleansing balm rich in sea buckthorn oil. 🇰🇷 Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream: A cream gel consistency moisturizer with blue tansy. Great for calming any inflammation. 🇰🇷 Krave Oat So Simple Water Cream: A very lightweight water cream with soothing oats. 🇰🇷 Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun: Get 👏🏻 Hip 👏🏻 To 👏🏻 This 👏🏻 Sunscreen 👏🏻 it’s like $8 and completely invisible and weightless. This is like my fourth bottle. 🇰🇷 Then I Met You Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel: An antioxidant rich mildly exfoliating gel cleanser. I feel very so so about this. It’s fine but I wouldn’t buy again. 🇰🇷 Laneige Cream Skin Toner: A milky hydrating toner with meadow foam seed oil. 🇰🇷 Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Toner: An incredibly hydrating and plumping watery gel consistency toner. 🇰🇷 Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peel: A richly foaming powder enzyme cleanser gentle enough for every day use.
I couldn't resist adding 2 Klairs products into my iHerb cart recently. I wasn't so impressed with their Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion but wanted to give the brand a chance since there are so many raves. I got hold of their Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, which is really a Vitamin C serum to improve skin tone and stimulate collagen production. 👩🏻 👩🏻 I'm so suprised that this serum feels WARM upon application because it's stated as being suitable for sensitive skin. But my face actually looks a tad red each time I apply this! This serum contains 5% L-Ascorbic Acid but what's unique is that the brand uses hybrid stabilization technology that provides enhanced active delivery of L-Ascorbic Acid to the skin. It's a bit too early to deduce if this product works but I'm liking the texture and feels of this serum now. It actually feels oily but applies on very well leaving no greasy residue. 🥰 On the other hand, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is truly made for sensitive skin as it's supposed to provide comfort to rapidly calm and soothe sensitivity. I got this product out of curiosity but am loving how it makes my skin feel. Kinda remind me of Sunday Riley's Tidal. Must be the blue...

I wanted to share some thoughts on some products that I’ve REALLY been loving from two of my favorite brands, drjart & paulaschoice! 🥰 ____ the amazing team at DrJart revamped their Cicapair line which encompasses the power of Tiger Grass (or Centella Asiatica) that calms sensitive skin, reduces redness, and soothes irritation! I’m a huge fan of the cream, as well as the gel formulation! The Calming Mist is so fine, and delivers an instant soothing sensation that I love to use as a toner after cleansing. The Tiger Grass Serum is formulated with their proprietary micro biome complex , Jartbiome, which soothes and repairs damaged skin while strengthening its’ defenses against stressors. What I love the most about this serum is seriously the packaging… The pump works flawlessly, delivering the perfect amount of product as you twist it open and refilling as you twist it to close! I HIGHLY recommend this line, and I know I will be using it even more when the colder, harsh weather approaches. ❄️ ____ I’ve also been obsessed with the DEFENSE line by PaulasChoice and have already professed my love for the Antioxidant Pore Purifier! This is my second tube so the hype is REAL, and I’ll always be repurchasing this gem thanks to its’ powerful blend of antioxidants, salicylic acid, and more! The Triple Algae Pollution Shield which strengthens and repairs the skin’s barrier with powerful plant and vitamin derived antioxidants to defend from aging and environmental aggressors! I use this product only in the mornings, and after the Pore Purifier, and follow it up with my moisturizer & then SPF! For people who life in heavily polluted cities like Houston.. This is perfect for you! I very highly recommend this line! 🙌🏽
Dr. Jart+-Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Mist
🐯PRODUCTS FOR REDNESS🐯
♥️THE PRODUCT♥️ The Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Serum is marketed as a serum to soothe skin that is irritated or sensitive. It is used after toning the skin and before moisturizing! This serum can be used AM or PM. The target concerns of this product are dryness, redness, irritation, and sensitivity (SOOO it’s meant for me). It has tiger grass/centella asiatica to help soothe redness and irritation. It also has niacinamide which is a great antioxidant, and glycerin to hydrate the skin. As you can see, the texture is a very thin green-tinged gel. It sinks right into the skin so perfectly and feels soothing immediately upon application. 🗯MY HONEST OPINION🗯 I tried this serum because Dr. Jart sent me their Cica Rescue Kit, and this travel size serum was in it! I’v had it for maybe 3 months, and I really enjoy it. This post reminded me that I need to reach for it more. I love this product! It soothes and hydrates my skin, and I think it really does help with redness. I wish that it had more of the centella asiatica higher up on the ingredient list so that it could be a more potent product. I would recommend this product to others who are really into skincare…I don’t think it is an essential for those just starting out. Dr. Jart is also not a cruelty-free brand so I probably wouldn’t repurchase this. The full size of this product is $46 for 1 oz, and I think that is pretty mid-range for a serum these days. The results make it worth the price. I wonder how much this little one would retail for if they sold it on its own, but hey don’t :(. This product is super easy to use, and you can use it quickly in the AM or PM so its versatile. Overall: 3/5 ⭐️ rating from me! I like this product, think the price is decent (and the packaging is so cute, but I wish it was more active and cruelty-free!

I like to do spontaneous trips but also I love to plan my next destination, this time I traveled to California and Mexico and guess what? I couldn’t stop myself and decided to take care of my skin using my basics, in this case I bought with me some products that helps me to keep my skin hydrated. Is not included on the picture my purito unscented centella spf but is a must in my skincare routine PAULA'S CHOICE - Antioxidant Pore Purifier PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+

I didn’t know I’d be this obsessed 😍
I am utterly HEART EYES over this exfoliating serum! I have sensitive skin and am often hesitant on trying exfoliants. This was my first introduction to a chemical exfoliant and to say I’m obsessed is a down play. I started off using this product once a week and now I have a schedule of using it every weds+fri. There’s a slight tingle upon application and it lasts about 30secs at max. After application I go ahead and apply my Versed moisturizer. In the morning I feel plump, dewy, and fresh! VERSED - SKIN SOAK Rich Moisture Cream After about a month of use this product has helped the overall texture of my skin and I see a major difference in skin tone. I will definitely be repurchasing and highly recommend this product for my sensitive skin friends 💕 FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum
FARMACY-Honeymoon Glow Serum
Azulene Daily Calming Serum This is a good brand in the market and I was sceptical but, but god this serum is so good. I love this serum for everything starting from size and design, into the ingredients and smell. This serum claims to calm and sooth irritated and sensitive skin and it really does what it says, it reduces the redness of my cheeks I could say by 80%. When I use it my skin feels so calm, not hot (which is great), and so hydrated. Also it’s one of the best serums I tried for my sensitive skin. Why I really love it is because it contains every single ingredient that my skin loves and craves for. Like it’s a perfect potion for my red and sensitive skin. Also it’s purple colour is just perfect 😍💜💜💜 🌸The main active ingredients are: 🌸Azulene (Camomile/Guaiazulene 300ppm) 🌸Niacinamide (in love with this ingredient) 🌸Adenosine (soothing, restoring and anti aging(can be seen as faster wound healing as well) 🌸EGF(Epidermal Growth Factor) - peptide 🌸Herb Complex (Honeysuckle, Thyme, Mushroom, Licorice, Lavander, Rosemary, Jasmine) 🌸Honey Extract (🙌) this doesn’t need introductions💜💜💜💜 🌸Hyaluronic Acid (moisturising) 🌸Centella Asiatica Extract (anti bacterial, anti inflammatory, skin conditioning) 🌸Calamus Root Extract (antibacterial, sebum control) 🌸Perilla ocymoides leaf extract (anti inflammatory) It might be different for other sensitive skins, but mine loves it, so it’s worth a try.
