Glow Baby Glow

A glow is what we all crave and strive for am I right? We want our skin to be bouncy, health, bright and glowing and I have four products that help with that! I have dry dehydrated skin that constantly looks dull, so I crave that glow and always work towards it. First of all, a glow is achieved with exfoliation. There are many different ways but I believe gentle exfoliation and chemical exfoliation is the key. I discovered this cleanser by Kopari by chance and it’s literally called a glow cleanser! It works by gently eating away at dead skin on the surface with pineapple and papaya enzymes to reveal baby smooth, clear and new skin. This skin will always look it’s best. KOPARI - Tropical Glow Cleanser
Next would be vitamin C. This powerful antioxidant ingredient is skin loving in that it will brighten the complexion, tighten and firm, and correct or lighten any dark spots or imperfections like acne scars. I have dark marks from post acne and religiously use my vitamin C from Skinceuticals in the morning to lighten these spots and even my skin tone. An even skin tone will always shine and glow more than skin with marks. This serum is literally the best of the best and the vitamin e and ferulic acid work to help stabilize and boost the effects of the powerhouse c. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum
Niacinamide is an easy way to achieve glow. It reduces pore size by helping control oil production which can make the pores look bigger and when you see large pores, you’re seeing dullness instead of healthy skin. So this is essential. Caudalie nailed it out of the park with this beautiful cream! CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Moisturizer with Niacinamide
Lastly I believe in oil cleansing! Clean skin is healthy skin! Oil cleansing helps break up makeup, sunscreen, gunky oil and other impurities from the day to reveal a nourished happy skin!! It can also help get rid of the excess oil that can block pores and cause pimples and clogs. Clear skin glows!! I love Kopari since it’s a lightweight silky oil that smells of vanilla and rinses away in a milky substance. KOPARI - Coconut Cleansing Oil
I hope you try at least one of these ingredients to help achieve your glow ✨

Best New Vitamin C!
After many years of using SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum and loving the results but not the price, I decided it was time to try some other Vitamin C products. First I tried MAELOVE - Glow Maker which was priced very well and is commonly known as a dupe, but i found the brightening effect not to be as strong. After reading a lot of articles and seeing several “skinfluencers” rave about it, I have been using BeautyStat COSMETICS - Universal C Skin Refiner for about 6 weeks and I love it! What makes it so special (aside from delivering all the vitamin C benefits I expect) is that the Vitamin C is encapsulated and suspended in the serum so that it stays fresh until it hits your skin. I will note that this serum is silicone based so if that is not something you like in a product you may want to consider something else. For me, this is a great, active, effective vitamin c at half the cost of my original fave.

Acne Scars
If you are dealing with acne scarring, maybe this post will help! Acne scars are formed when a breakout penetrates the skin deeply and damages the tissues beneath it. During the healing process, the body produces collagen—a substance that gives the skin support. If the body produces too little or too much collagen, you will see a scar. Who is at risk for acne scarring? When a person Has inflammatory (swollen, reddish, and painful) acne. These often include acne cysts and nodules. This type of acne tends to penetrate deep into the skin, which damages the skin. Delays or does not treat inflammatory acne The longer a person has inflammatory acne, the greater the risk of scarring. Picks, squeezes, or pops acne This increases inflammation, which increases the risk of scarring. Has a blood relative who developed acne scars Genes play a large role. Products that are recommended by dermatologists: SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum SHANI DARDEN SKIN CARE - Retinol Reform Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner Dr Dennis Gross - Skincare Alpha Beta Peel Extra Strength Formula 30 Applications If you have tried over the counter products and still aren’t seeing any results, your best bet is to see a good dermatologist. They use the following treatments: Laser skin resurfacing Chemical peeling Dermabrasion Microdermabrasion (differs from kits bought for at-home use) Resurfacing works well for treating acne scars that are nearly flat (not too deep). Even dermabrasion, which removes the top layers of skin and some of the middle layers, cannot effectively treat deep acne scars. For deeper scarring, they sometimes use fillers. A dermatologist may fill acne scars with collagen, the patient’s own fat, or another substance. Many fillers give temporary results, which last between 6 and 18 months. Some fillers are permanent. Collagen -induction therapy, skin tightening, electrodesication, and even scar surgery are also used. The takeaway is don’t think that you don’t have options! Definitely give the products I listed a good try. It can take months and months to really start seeing results so you definitely need to be patient. If those do not work for you, your dermatologist has a ton of options ❤️ Remember that no matter your skin, you are beautiful!!!

Coconut in Skincare
Coconut in skincare has become very popular over the last few years. Many people claim that coconut oil saved their skin, while some say it ruined their skin. For those with oily and acne-prone skin, it has been known to be particularly troubling because coconut oil is comedogenic. This means that it is pore-clogging, and this could make acne worse. Coconut oil contains fatty acids, antioxidants, and a medium-chain fatty acid called lauric acid which is allegedly known to kill acne-causing bacteria. Some say it can also be used as a hydrating moisturizer, but most dermatologists state that it just sits on top of the skin, and wouldn’t recommend it to acne-prone skin types. All the products in this photo have coconut oil as a star ingredient except for the lip balm and the primer. The Too Faced primer contains coconut water which is full of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals to help hydrate and soothe your skin without all the pore-clogging. The Balm Dot Com just smells delicious, and contains no coconut oil. I love the scent of coconut skincare, it is so sweet and makes me think of tropical, warm places! I have had no adverse reactions to the coconut oil in these products, but they may not work for everyone. What is your favourite coconut product?

I bought them for cuteness...... now I’m in love
To be honest, I am easily influenced along with my ability to influence others.... especially when it comes to skincare. I literally saw a sale a little bit back for @koparibeauty, checked them out, saw a pineapple enzyme cleanser and a gardenia deodorant.... and then I was a goner! 🥥🥥⠀ ⠀ I’m coconuts about this brand now! The rose toner and cleansing oil are daily uses for me now cause I cannot get enough of the coconut vanilla scent. I was Leary about using coconut oil cause 19 year old Erin was a dumbass who used regular coconut oil on her face and broke out like crazy, BUT!! This brand has created and used such a perfect coconut oil that my skin is actually thriving from it!! 💃🏼 ⠀ ⠀ I find the deo keeps me from being stinky all day without any shirt residue which is great and I smell like one of my fav flowers! The toothpaste is a miss as I hate how the black charcoal kinda gets everywhere and there is no fluoride. But it’s been nice to use for sure. 🙌🏻⠀ ⠀ If you guys want more reviews let me know! But honestly, I really love this stuff am will be a local customer now 🥰 how could I not when their stuff is this freaking adorable!!

Current favorite cleansers 🧼✨
These are the cleansers I’ve been using this summer and the ones that have helped prevent maskne (mask acne). Ole Henriksen truth juice daily cleanser, gel/creamyish texture. Feels super nice on my skin and leaves my skin really clean. Gentle to use everyday and the scent is really yummy. It gets my eye makeup off nicely without having to use too much. $28.00 for 5oz OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Kopari tropical glow cleanser, recently got this, about a few weeks ago. I’ve really been loving this. Super surprised that this removed my waterproof mascara! Maybe it’s me but I have noticed a slight brightness whenever I use this. It smells amazing. It has a coconut 🥥 scent but not a lot. The texture is gel and very liquidy. Super gentle on my skin and the coconut didn’t irritate me. $24.00 for 4.5 oz KOPARI - Tropical Glow Cleanser Inn beauty project clarifying daily cleanser, very foamy and feels like a cloud on your face. This helped me with maskne whenever I had small acne appear on my chin I’d use this to help get rid of it. It’s very nice however it didn’t easily get rid of my eye makeup. I’d have to use a bit to get rid of eyeliner and mascara. Besides that it’s great. $22 for 3.4 oz iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Foam Around Clarifying Daily Cleanser Kiehl’s ultra facial cleanser, one of the cleansers that I’ve been using for years. This has kept my skin soft and clear and moisturized. The texture on this is a thicker gel. Great for all skin types and not super expensive. $12 for 2.5 oz or $22 for 5 oz Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser Farmacy green clean makeup melting cleansing balm, I love using this. The balm smells very fresh and this removed ALL my eye makeup. I could have waterproof mascara/eyeliner on, eyeshadow with sparkles on and it got rid of it. Without leaving residue. $22 for 1.7 oz or $34 for 3.4 oz FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

Trending Skincare Super Ingredients
I’ll start out by telling you a bit about my skin; it’s sensitive and normal-dry depending on the season. I also have rosacea on my cheeks. I am always looking for skincare that hydrates, soothes, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I am 31 years old and have just recently started adding some anti-aging products into my routine, though I can thankfully say I don’t have many signs of aging yet🤞🏻 Today I’m going to tell you about some skincare “super ingredients” that you might have been hearing about because they have become very popular in the skincare world. Ashwaganda - ashwaganda is an ancient medicinal herb that is classified as an adaptogen, which means it can help your body manage stress. In skincare, and this YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi in particular, it is said to help reduce visible signs of fatigue. This moisturizer is targeted for people with dry, sensitive, and reactive skin. the texture of this is lovely, it’s not too heavy but feels incredibly hydrating on the skin. it has very little to no smell, which I really appreciate it definitely helps me with redness and dryness I would for sure repurchase this Niacinamide - niacinimide is an essential nutrient that can help build proteins in the skin and lock in moisture to prevent environmental damage. The CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution and CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Moisturizer with Niacinamide both contain niacinimide and claim to even the skin tone and give the skin a glowing appearance. the texture of both of these products is lightweight; the serum is a milky consistency and the moisturizer is a gel-cream. I wish that the moisturizer was a little more hydrating; I can’t really use it once the weather gets cold because it’s just not hydrating enough for me both of these products are quite strongly scented, some may find it overpowering I feel like they both make a difference in the overall appearance of my skin. They definitely help to brighten and even out my skin. I’m unsure if I would repurchase the moisturizer, but would repurchase the serum Retinol - retinol supports natural collagen production in the skin, nurtures the skin, and diminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles. This FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Skin Lab Retinol Serum is said to be for beginner retinol users and for those with sensitive skin. There are different strengths of retinol and it is advised that you work your way up to a higher concentration as your skin adjusts. Retinol has a bit of a bad reputation in some ways because it is a very aggressive ingredient but when used properly, it can be extremely beneficial and effective. the texture isn’t overly thick and it sinks into the skin quickly unscented too new to my routine to say if I’d repurchase yet #CheriePartner

My Caudalie Favorites
Wanted to show some love for one of my favorite brands during today’s post! When I first got into skincare, Caudalie was always a brand I wanted to try. They focus on clean, sustainable skincare that leaves your skin smooth and glowing! ⁣ ⁣ My two favorite products from them are the CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir and the CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Moisturizer with Niacinamide ! Both are a little on the pricier side for me but they are lasting forever! When I use them in the morning it gives my skin that lit from within glow! I’ve found that some people love their products and for others, they’re just meh.

My quarantine skincare routine - simple and short. But mostly just trying to finish up products before buying anything new 🙃 My routine during this quarantine hasn’t gotten elaborate or anything it’s probably just gotten more simple bc I’ve completely stopped wearing makeup unless I try a bit on here and there. These are some products that I’ve been enjoying and going for a lot lately! ☁️@versed cleanser- this is a great everyday cleanser for any kind of skin! It’s gentle, effective, takes out all the dirt and makeup and feels good on the face when washing. Has a nice light minty smell too! ☁️@versed brightening toner- I have dulll skin die to my hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. This toner instantly gives me brighter loling skin with a glow. I use this almost daily! ☁️@dhcskinare - this is a great oil based cleanser to remove any impurities and makeup. I use this to get out all my makeup and it works great. Even for eyeliner and waterproof mascara. It’s gentle and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean! ☁️@peachandlily glass skin serum - still continuing my daily use with this serum. The biggest difference in seeing with this serum at this point (3 weeks of use) is my pores look less visible and acne has calmed down ☁️@herbivorebotanicals pink cloud moisturizer - I’m almost out of this one.... but I’ve been using this one daily for the past month and it’s just a great everyday moisturizer for any kind of skin. You DEF Should Try Them If You Have Combo-oily Skin!
You DEF Should Try Them If You Have Combo-oily Skin!
Hello friends! So I m gonna share the products I loooove to use these days. I will introduce two makeup removers, several cleanser and toners, two serums, three face creams, and a spray. Also! Feel free to share with me some of your favorive products! This is gonna be a LONG review, but I hope you enjoy.❣💖 My skin is combination-oily and I have problem with acne prone. I have an oily T-zone, but dry around the cheeks and on the sides of my nose. I also have acne and acne scars. 1.Makeup Removing Dior Triple Impact Makeup Remover: This product is gentle and not irritable yet has strong cleansing power. Soak a cotton pad with the makeup remover and hold it against your closed eye for about 10 seconds, then just gently wipe your makeup off. EVE LOM - EVE LOM Cleanser: It cleans very well and does not cause acne. After applying it on your face, emulsify it twice with a towel, then wipe it off the third time. 2.Cleansing FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser: It's very gentle and can effectively remove oil without drying out your skin, so it's great for acne-prone sensitive skin. ERNO LASZLO - Detoxifying Double Cleanse Travel Set: This basic skincare product is combination-oily skin friendly. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed, soft and smooth. It's also antibacterial and helps deal with acne. SK-II - Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner: After cleansing your face, you can apply the facial treatment clear lotion to help soften the cuticle layer, which will enhance the effect of the facial treatment essence. SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence): This product is very suitable for combination-oily skin. Soak a cotton pad, apply it on sudden acne breakouts, then see how it soothes the swelling or redness. It may not be suitable for sensitive skin. 3.Serum Cosme Decorte Bright Eye Serum: It's effective at lightening dark circles and soothing the puffiness around your eyes. It comes with a small massage stick that you can use to help reduce swelling, therefore enhancing your eye contour area and brightening your eyes. BIOEFFECT - EGF Serum: After cleansing, dab four drops of the serum on your face before applying anything else. It's absorbed very quickly, is very moisturizing and helps to lighten acne scars. 4.Facial Cream ERNO LASZLO - Phelityl Night Cream: It does not dry out when used in winter, nor does it make your T-zone oily when you wake up in the morning. My skin became super soft after using it. LA MER - LA MER The Moisturizing Soft Cream: This product is mainly for repairing skin and removing acne scars. It's fine to use in winter, but is too oily for summer nights. Cosme Decorte AQ Absolute Revitalizing Cream: This morning cream contains SPF15 and is a little too oily for me, so I won't repurchase it. 5.Spray: Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist: I use this before applying makeup or before I use a mask. It's very hydrating and feels refreshing on my face. It's absorbed even faster than Caudalie's grape water.

Sensitive Skin Saving Duo
Sensitive Skin Saving Duo
My skin often gets really sensitive because I have allergies that are exacerbated seasonally. This usually happens to me closer to beginning of the spring/summer season. Whenever there is more pollen in the air, I get a really intense hive-like reaction all across my body. During this time, I have to keep my routine super simple to avoid making it worse. My simple routine consists of two steps — a gentle cleanse and hydration. While I’ve tried many different combinations, this is the one that assures that my skin will be happy. CLEANSE — fresh - Soy Face Cleanser Limited Edition This cleanser is super gentle, and has been a staple of mine for years. I can’t recommend it enough for absolutely everyone. The gentle nature of this cleanser makes it perfect for all skin types from oily to dry. This cleanser allows me to actually cleanse my skin without drying it out or compromising my skin barrier further. This is a perfect cleanser all the time, but when my skin is ultra-sensitive, it is a complete life-saver. HYDRATE — CAUDALIE - Vinosource S.O.S Thirst-Quenching Serum The perfect ultra-hydrating, soothing serum? YES. I discovered this serum around the same time as the cleanser, and it is absolutely one of the most hydrating serums I’ve ever used. Much like other Caudalie products, the inclusion of grape water infuses the skin with hydration that lasts. I can’t recommend this product enough. When my skin is irritated, this lightweight serum is one of the best and most effective hydrators. It’s formula ensures the delivery of hydration without irritation. The next time your skin is irritated or feeling sensitive, I highly recommend you check out this duo!

My PM Routine
🌙 For combo/dry skin 🌙 Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser: $38 a cream cleanser containing goat milk and manuka honey...also my favorite cleanser of all time. This is so gentle and pleasant to use...great for dry or sensitive skin. 🌙 CosRX Propolis Synergy Toner: $23 a toner containing 72.5% propolis and 10% honey...this is so so for me. I typically really like honey for giving my skin hydration and glow but this one just doesn’t do a lot for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🌙 Drunk Elephant A Passioni Retinol Cream $74 and B Hydra $48...I like to mix these two together to improve the texture of and buffer the retinol. A Passioni is a 1% retinol so it’s pretty strong but the B Hydra contains ceramides and provitamin B5 to help hydrate the skin and minimize the drying effects of the retinol. 🌙 Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturizer $38 is a rich cream moisturizer containing antioxidant rich fig milk, soothing oat milk, and a plethora of antioxidant rich oils. This stuff sinks into the skin quickly but leaves the skin feeling incredibly hydrated and soft.
