Why is this the most precious!?
So I’m FINALLY taking about the hand cream that shook the beauty world, the @glossier hand cream 💓 First off, why is the packaging literally the cutest most convenient thing ever? Like a flip top, a soft tube and glossier pink? I feel so like cool girl whenever I pull this baby out of my purse or have it on my vanity haha Secondly, the smell. Omg. If you love the perfume, you’ll really love this. It’s incredibly similar!! I’m a sucker for the perfume as it’s such a subtle scent yet I get compliments everytime I wear it, so now that my hands smell pretty too, I’m a happy girl. 🙋🏼♀️ As for the formula, I actually really like it! It’s thick enough to help with my dry hands from all this hand washing, yet not too thick that I can’t function after applying cause it soaks right in. It’s actually perfect and I’m so in love! ❤️❤️ Don’t forget! I’m a Glossier affiliate and would love the support of you using my affiliate link in my bio! You get 10% off your first order 🥰

PR/Gifted // Bringing back to you guys @madeca_derma.us 🌿 Madeca Derma kindly sent me their brand new launch, the Revitalizing Sleeping Mask and I am loving it. Ingredients to highlight: - Niacinamide (I personally love this ingredient, it definitely works well for my skin although it’s not a necessity for me) - Squalane (Love!) - Pollen Extract (Interesting right?) - Propolis Extract (Great ingredient for those with acne prone skin) - Hyaluronic Acid - Honey Extract - Hydrolyzed Collagen The texture of this product is very light weight which is the perfect addition on top of my regular moisturizer (which is now thicker due to the colder months). I am loving the use of sleeping masks lately, I find them to be so great for the skin! The main thing I love about this product is that not only is it hydrating, it has ingredients that target acne prone skin! It’s a two in one! This does contain fragrance, but the smell is very faint. I don’t mind fragrance at all, it doesn’t make a product any less efficient for me. What is your favorite sleeping mask?
Glossier products I expected more from ✨
Ever since I received gift that were glossier products I’ve been a fan. I love the minimal aesthetic they have and most of their products are a hit for me. Unfortunately there are some that I didn’t really enjoy that much. Some products are just ok but for the high prices of some of these things I really set the bar high and expect quality results. The glossier hand creme. This came out in late April and I was super excited for this. Online it says it smells like their “you” perfume scent which I’ve liked from the samples I had. It’s not an affordable hand creme, it’s $18 and only has 1.7 oz. Nonetheless I really wanted it. I ordered it and loved the smell. The creme wasn’t oily or left a sticky residue. The only problem now is it has a weird smell. It’s only been a few months since I bought it. I’m kinda annoyed about it cause now it has a plastic smell to it. I try to put it on sometimes but the smell gets to me. The formulation is nice but if it only takes a few months for the smell to go bad then it’s not worth it to me. Glossier. - Glossier Hand Cream Mango balm dot com. I usually love bdc but this particular scent not so much. I expected this to be fruity and like a sweet juicy mango 🥭. It smell better than the actual taste. It does have that mango taste but more bitter. After having this on for a while it leaves a weird aftertaste. I just personally wasn’t a fan of this flavor. Glossier play colorslide. I wanted to love these eye pencils so bad. They’re made of wood so you have to sharpen them which isn’t a problem for me. I chose to order the shade “stable relationship” it’s a super pretty mossy green color. When I got it I immediately swatched it on my hand and it was nice. The color is amazing in person. Unfortunately whenever I apply this on my eyes it pulls and tugs on them. It’s never a smooth line. I have to go over some spots that the pencil skipped. Sometimes I warm up the pencil between my hands to soften the pigment but it’s always the same. If it wasn’t for the pulling and hard tip I’d love it. I have a couple other colors and they do the exact same. Online it says it lasts a while and that is correct. It doesn’t smudge easily. Glossier. - Colorslide Technogel Eye Pencil
NEW from GLOSSIER
It’s official - this is my new favorite hand cream. A new release from glossier, this hand cream is rich in texture without being too thick or greasy. It smells like their “You” perfume – musky, clean, and delicious. It truly moisturizes my hands incredibly. The packaging is reminiscent of one of those silicone AirPods cases, lol – the component that holds the cream is a squeezable silicone. I like the packaging but I do feel it will be difficult to get every last drop out. Use this link to get 10% off at Glossier! https://re.glossier.com/ab124cf2 Glossier. - Glossier Hand Cream

Glossier Hand Cream - Worth it? 🍦🧴
YES. As simple as that. The Glossier hand cream is fast absorbing, super softening, smells amazing, and aesthetically pleasing to look at...Glossier did that. It smells just like You perfume, so if you prefer I scented hand creams, this isn’t for you. You get 1.7 fl oz for $18 which, in my opinion, is decently priced. It’s for the hands, so you only use a little amount. I can see this lasting a few months. It’s convenient to carry in a purse and the flip top and squeeze bottle make it easy to use and mess free. I’m really surprised by this product! Good job, Glossier! The product was gifted by Glossier, but opinions are all my own. Glossier. - Glossier Hand Cream

Nauseatingly Sweet 🍬
mer | sea &CO - Coconut Sugar Body Cream Product purpose: Moisturize! Looks like: White cream Smells like: Intoxicatingly sweet I tried this product through a fabfitfun box, and oh man this was a miss. I love Anthropologie, I love body butters and I love sugary scents in moderation. IN MODERATION. This was so sweet and thick that it gave me a headache, and lasted for HOURS. If that’s your thing, DO IT because I love the way this scent smells, but it’s truly nauseating when it’s all over you and WON’T END. The texture itself was a bit too thick for me, as it would not absorb into my skin. It was the kind of cream that takes a while to rub in, as it doesn’t just melt and you get white streaks on your skin that you have to work through. I would much rather buy a cheaper Body Shop cream that melts in your hand and sinks in wonderfully, rather than this baby :( But this product does have a nice list of ingredients, and costs $24, which is not unreasonable for the brand/ingredients list. I’d recommend if you don’t get easily overwhelmed by scents, but if you do, this might not be for you.

Heavenly body butter
TRULY - Unicorn CBD Whipped Body Butter I very sadly recently finished this body butter and would like to share some thoughts 💕it smells divine, very fruity and sugary. My husband says I smell like fruit loops which I don’t mind at all lol 💕it’s absolutely gorgeous to look at! The packaging is top notch, the gold lid is heavy and feels very luxurious 💕the texture is whipped but it melts into the skin like an oil. I warm it up in my hands before applying Just one thing I struggled with was it’s quite thick, it was hard to spread over my body because of how thick it is. Also it takes quite a While to absorb into skin and leaves you greasy for a couple hours, these weren’t huge dealbreakers for me because I just apply before bed and when I wake up I smell good and have super soft skin!

A lotion actually worth the $$$
This is the best nighttime lotion ever! Beautiful creamy lavender tonka scent that relaxes me so much before bed! And the formula for their body lotions should be the standard, it’s so moisturizing and just makes your skin feel healthy and soft before bed. You can still smell it in the morning, honestly if you’re going to purchase a more expensive body lotion get a Lush one. They have a wide range of scents and use natural fragrance so for me is not irritating. Love it. LUSH - Sleepy body lotion

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
