Acne and Scarring
These photos are a year apart - I took the one on the right this morning. I am going through a transition/purge from switching my whole routine to something that doesn’t overexfoliate, overdry and overstrip like I was doing using some other products. I was beyond determined (still sort of am) to banish the acne and clear up the awful scarring as quickly and as harshly as I could just to fix my skin and after a year I have learned a valuable lesson. Time. Time will give you results. Trust in your skincare routine, don’t switch it up so desperately like I used to. Be patient and gentle with your beautiful skin because it can only take so much. I started over moisturizing and hydrating to fix my barrier, switched to a much more gentle exfoliator and a retinol that doesn’t dry the sh*t out of my skin. And look! It’s working! So instead look to nourish the skin instead of a quick fix and I think you’ll be okay 😘😘 Since this is Cherie, I’ll tag the products that work for ME! Please remember everyone is DIFFERENT and we all have different needs and results. SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment

Fight Acne with Retinoids and Retinol to GLOW ✨
🚨If you suffer from stubborn acne (like I have) you may want to consider adding OTC retinoids to your routine! 🔑Retinoids, a vitamin A derivative, are a key player in the skincare industry. Many studies have proven retinoids fight acne, promote collagen, reduce wrinkles and hyperpigmentation to give skin a healthy glow. The good news is now there are plenty of options for Rx strength one now available OTC! 💁🏻♀️I only mentioned products I’ve use and that work! Best OTC Rx Strength Adapalene 0.1% proactiv - Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Adapalene Gel .01% Topical Retinoid Acne Treatment This former prescription-only retinoid works to unclog pores by slowing pore lining growth and reduces the skin’s sensitivity to inflammation! This is a great introductory retinoid if you’ve never used any before. ✨Prevents pimple formation ✨Speeds blemish healing time ✨Reduces inflammation and redness ✨Evens skin tone and texture ✨Anti-aging benefits Best OTC Retinol Serums Why do I like OTC retinoids better than retinol? Retinol actually takes much longer to work. In fact, because retinol must convert at the cellular level of the skin, it can take 6 months to a year before seeing results. Retinol can be 20x less effective than a Rx strength retinoids. Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Serum dermalogica - Retinol Acne Clearing Oil SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalane The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalane DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream ✨Gentle formulas - good for sensitive skin ✨Decrease fine lines over time ✨Serums contain other skin hydrating ingredients Myths True and False: ⚡️Retinoids thin your skin - FALSE They actually strengthen your skin by promoting collagen production. ⚡️Retinoids have drying side effects - TRUE and FALSE When you start using retinoids, skin may go through a process of Retinization, the adjustment period in which dryness, flaking and redness can occur. Symptoms subside in about 4 weeks and are almost eliminated my using a great moisturizer. ⚡️You should wait till your older to use retinoids - FALSE Retinoids and retinol are safe to use ages 12 and up! 💁🏻♀️Right now, I personally use Proactive adapalene 0.1% for acne fighting and anti-aging at the same time! How save retinoids improved your skin?
🚫 DO NOT MIX 🚫
Retinol, vitamin C, chemical exfoliants. All amazing products that deliver great results! So you might be asking “what if I mix this with that and get the smooth, radiant skin I long for?” But let me tell ya, mixing these potent ingredients is a recipe for disaster! They play great with others (i.e. vitamin C and vitamin E or retinol and hyaluronic acid), but shouldn’t be used together for a couple of reasons. Vitamin C products have a very specific pH which allows them to work best, using a vitamin C based product with acidic ingredients like glycolic acid can alter its pH which can reduce the effectiveness of your products. Now mixing retinol and vitamin C or glycolic acid is just a big NO for me. These combo can lead to irritation, sensitivity, dryness and even flakiness. These three are amazing on their own or with complimentary products like I mentioned before ✨

My pores DISAPPEARED with this !!
🎯Claims: An all in one AHA treatment, powered by lactic acid, that clarifies, smooths & retexturizes the appearance of skin. 🎯Solutions for: Fine lines & wrinkles pores, dark spots 🎯My experience: When I started using this product my skin was not as smooth as it is now, this in conjunction with a more concentrated hyaluronic Acid made my skin like porcelain. I use this mainly in my night time routine and I would wake up with the softest skin and zero pores. I would sometimes use this in my routine before makeup application if I didn’t want to use a primer because it makes my pores literally disappear, allowing makeup application to be a dream. This products is definitely on the pricey side but I think it’s worth it. A little goes a long way. 🎯Recommend?: YES 🎯Rate: 8/10 ( because of price) SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment
Treatments from My skin cabinet
Here I’m showcasing some of my time and money worthy Treatments! I believe these are the tried and true ones for me with few daily staples! For ease of understanding and review I’m going to use the ‘Tags’ like ‘Daily staples’ and I’ll give stars ⭐️. I really think if you’re Hormonal Acne girl like me, this could be a helpful snap of my skin cabinet ❤️ So, with first tag - 🤩1. ‘Daily Staples’ - SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream This is rich and thick in consistency so if you’re oily try using it in Winters. I use it in morning routine. I think it’s effective and will give you more brightened skin. LeeGeeHaam Vita Propolis Ampoule This is new skincare find for me, AMAZING! In love this baby😍 Totally worth it! It gives glowing, brighter and tighter skin in consistent use! ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm This balm is Amazing! Works the best in removing every bit of makeup. The best part is it emulsified and washes well. Worth the hype! The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The best HA that worked for me. It didn’t irritate my Sensitive skin. It’s sticky so is the best under makeup. Love it 😍 🤩2. ‘Not so favorite Treatments’ - SUNDAY RILEY - Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner Didn’t give any visible results. The smell is a bit too off for me. Positive is it’s hydrating. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask This held high hopes from me but unfortunately I didn’t find it Stunning. I believe there are other Retinols that work the best. This one is too occlusive for me, also it is a bit sticky and heavy unlike the Watermelon sleeping mask. The results weren’t amazing. Hence three stars from me. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads This is okay in my opinion. Nothing too great, also not bad. I didn’t see any results similar to The ordinary glycolic acid toner. So, I’m not very impressed with it but I believe for someone who has very sensitive skin, this could be a decent treatment. 🤩3. ‘Favorite Treatments’ - SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment This is AMAZING AMAZING! you will see the results in just one use. Gives glowing, brighter skin next morning. It helps with raised bumps and texture. Love it! TULA SKINCARE - Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner It works just as amazing as Good genes. Worth the money. It’s more like toner so it’s easy to use and also less irritating. THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum one of my favorite Retinols. Works great, formula is amazing. Not too thin but absorbs quickly. I feel the only downside is the size, it’s just very little for what we get from other brands. ELEMIS - Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads Works very well. Gives results in one use. Easy to use because of individual pads. Doesn’t feel heavy. Kate Somerville - Kx Active Concentrates Bio-Mimicking Peptides Serum

Happy #farmacyfridays to all my loves 💕 🍯 ⠀ It’s supposed all rain to day which is kind of bummy since that’s all it has been doing in PA lately. ⠀ Hoping to fill my day with tons of shooting so that I can stock up for when I go back to work. ⠀ What’s everyone else doing on this fabulous Friday?! A Pampered Night for Dry Skin ✨💦
As I accumulate more products to tackle my dehydrated skin, I’ve been able to get into more of a routine, and I love making time to treat myself at least once a week. Hydration is so necessary for my dry, sensitive skin, so this routine is centered around that. DOUBLE CLEANSE: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Even if I’m not wearing makeup, I like doing an oil cleanse first because I use mineral sunscreen on so oil cleansers are a must to get it off. I’m halfway done with the small size of Green Clean and I will definitely repurchase! It’s the only makeup remover that removes every last bit of makeup from my eye. 5/5 stars!! fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash This is my new favorite exfoliating face wash! It doesn’t feel rough or stripping at all, the sugar granules are very small for light exfoliation and the smell is so nice! I use this 2-3 times a week and I love it, I’m definitely buying a full size once I finish the travel sample I bought. TONE: fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner I’ve been using this religiously for the last couple weeks and I think I’m in love! Dare I say a holy grail for my thirsty skin!! It smells like heaven, and my skin looks so bright and plump. It never leaves my skin sticky and is so soothing. Definitely well worth it!! MASK: bareMinerals - Be Pure & Be Dewy Claymates Mask Duo I did a full review of this product already, but I want to reiterate how much I love this mask. the Be Dewy side is so so hydrating, and my skin looks amazing every single time I use it, and I use it a lot. I’m not kidding, if I were getting married and my skin needed to be gorgeous and glowing I would use this mask. My face is instantly bright, plump and hydrated every time. I highly recommend it!! SERUM: PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining SerumI’m not going to rate this because I’ve only been using this serum for a week now and I don’t think it would be fair. The very first time I used it, my skin freaked out and turned red and tight and dry which seemed odd for a niacinamide and HA serum, but it hasn’t done it since which makes me think it was a reaction with another product in my routine. It’s just a little thicker than water and absorbs SUPER quickly and isn’t sticky feeling at all, which I love, but I haven’t noticed any of the glass skin benefits it’s promised yet. I’ll post an in depth review once I get a better feel for it, but so far it’s fine! MOISTURIZER: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi I got this in a YTTP sample pack and I’ve been using it nightly. I do really like it, it’s thick and pleasant feeling on my skin. It is a really dense cream and my skin feels a tad sticky after it but my face no longer feels tight in the morning! I’m not in love but this is definitely a good night cream.

A brand the specializes on CLEANSERS
Holifrog is a brand that focuses on creating cleansers. Even though not the most affordable, it surely is effective and the formulas are a dream. My favorite one is the Milky Cleaner (pink). This cleanser has a light, creamy consistency that is extremely gentle on the skin. It’s not at all stripping but rather nourishing and softening. This makes for the perfect morning cleanse and I don’t think I can ever be without it!HOLI FROG - Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash
Rapid Reviews: Cleansers, Part 1
Cleansing is my favourite skincare step, so here are my opinions on some of my cleanser stash! Also, here is your daily reminder to double cleanse any day you wear sunscreen or makeup. And stop washing your face with gel/foam cleanser in the morning. • *HOLI FROG - Kissimmee Vitamin F Therapy Balmy Wash : A creamy balm that isn’t too thick and easily removes makeup and sunscreen. It is a little hard to get fully emulsified and takes time to rinse away, but I love how soft my skin is after! • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser : A thick balm that quickly melts to effectively remove makeup and sunscreen. It emulsifies less easily than HoliFrog’s but is quicker to rinse off. It leaves skin moisturized and clean! • THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm : The best -and cheapest- first cleanse, it is a slick balm that emulsifies easily, rinses quickly, and just is overall super easy to use while removing makeup and sunscreen. Doesn’t leave my skin as soft but there’s no residue at all. • PAULA'S CHOICE - Gentle Touch Makeup Remover : I use this only to remove my mascara and I enjoy it thoroughly- no scrubbing, no rubbing, just a few swipes and my mascara is gone with zero burning. •*HOLI FROG - Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash : The gentlest cleanser I’ve ever used. Doesn’t remove makeup or sunscreen well, but leaves skin soft and calm. A good second or morning cleanse! • PAULA'S CHOICE - RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser : Thorough yet non-stripping, perfect for when you want to feel clean without skin feeling tight. I enjoy the cream-to-foam texture a lot! Gets off every trace of balm residue. My favourite cleanser thus far. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser : Reserved for when I’ve been soaked in sweat all day or covered in grime, this gets you clean af without making skin feel tight. My heavy duty cleanser! Dry skin types may feel stripped. • *HOLI FROG - Superior Omega Nutritive Gel Wash : A low-lather wash that is a perfect everyday gel cleanser. Doesn’t strip or dry out skin, but removes any residue from balm cleansers. A normal, nice cleanser that I love to stick in the fridge to use on humid days. (I have used other popular cleansers, from Farmacy and Tatcha and Youth to the People, but don’t repurchase or enjoy them. I prefer to promote products I like versus criticizing brands I dislike. I’m currently testing some CeraVe and other drugstore brand cleansers) * - gifted, but opinions are always my own.
Dark spots vanished with these two together
Does anyone else love these textures of @sundayriley Tidal water enzyme cream SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream and C.E.O Vitamin C Rich Hydration cream? SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream 💧🍋🌟 . . . I almost finished my Tidal water enzyme cream as I simply love that gel like texture and it is an amazing water cream with Alpha Arbutin in it. I used it with my L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) powder by @cosmedix Trust me you want this cream in order to fade your dark spots, acne scars and uneven tone. I noticed my scars fading away with this rich water cream. It is almost like a gel but with a lot of hydrating properties while gently taking care of hyperpigmentation with it's active ingredient that is Alpha Arbutin. It smells like cucumber and greens smoothie, so fresh and refreshing. It feels amazing on face 💕😍 I want to buy refill for this one and I don't think I can love this enough.... Another hydrating cream is C.E.O Vitamin C cream, I've recently started using this and I already love it. Give me Vitamin C and I never get tired with it. It smells like Lemons but a very subtle smell. I love how both the creams don't weigh heavily on skin and gives that natural hydrating look and feel to the skin. If you love using Vitamin C and want a good effective cream, C.E.O is the best option! 💕 Although @sundayriley is on a pricey side, I believe it's totally worth the money. Sometimes creams with Active ingredients infused in it are expensive because they do work on your targeted skin concerns. . . . . .
Battle of the moisturizers 🥊
It is always important to use a moisturizer regardless of the type of skin you have. To be honest, I generally skip this step because I have had bad experiences. But I have found 3 creams that haven’t caused me breakouts and that don’t leave my skin oily. The first place is taken by DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream a protein moisturizer with signal peptides, growth factors, amino acids, and pygmy waterlily. It’s ideal for all skin types. It doesn’t leave the skin greasy, absorbs quickly and it helps to relieve dryness. The only downside is its price. I like it for the winter season, when my skin is usually drier. Price: $68 for 1.69 oz. Second place GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream a soothing lightweight moisturizer with banana, magnesium, turmeric and cica. Ideal for all skin types. It doesn’t cause me breakouts, it absorbs quickly, it’s very lightweight, smells amazing and leaves a nice glow. The price is quite reasonable. I prefer to use it in summer. Price: $39 for 1.69 oz. And third place goes to SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream an advanced brightening and refining treatment infused into a next generation water cream. Is light and soothing, it absorbs fast and has not caused me breakouts. It's a little expensive but worth it. Price $65 for 1.7 oz

My favorite skin care products!
I am obsessed with the Milk makeup cleanser and moisturizer! I have been using them since may! Both products are vegan. The cleanser is perfect for someone like me with normal to dry skin. It doesn’t have a fragrance at all. It is kind of thick but I love that ! Some cleansers I have used in the past would leave my skin feeling weird and dry. I would also end up breaking out shortly after using other cleansers. My face feels soft and clean after using the milk vegan cleanser. I haven’t experienced and breakouts after using it. The moisturizer really helps keep my dry skin hydrated ! It is a little on the thicker side but it feels amazing on the skin. If you have oily skin I recommend only using it at night.
Review My Routine
Skinfix Oil Cleanser: I really love this product! It cleanses my skin really well and leaves me skin feeling very moisturized. I was skeptical of this at first because I thought it was going to have more of an oil texture but it does not! I was gifted this item in my most recent Cherie box!skinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser Thayers Witch Hazel Toner: this is my favorite budget friendly toner! In my opinion, it works just as well and gets the job done as some of the other pricey toners. I use the rose petal scent and it smells amazing!THAYERS - Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Toner Farmacy Very Cherry Bright: this also smells amazing! I had been looking for a good vitamin c serum for a while and finally found this one! It is pricey but I really like the job it does on my skin!FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream: I love using this in the morning because it helps decrease the appearance of dark circles and just makes me look overall more awake! I have naturally dry skin and this has been a savior for me! It has a very thick consistency so I use this morning and night! Products for acne prone skin!
🌻My skin type/concerns- I have very dry skin in the winter and a normal skin type during the summer! Occasionally I will get bad acne throughout the year, I also have bad redness and hyperpigmentation, and pores! 🌻this review is for products I have tried to reduce my acne! ✅worked ❌didn’t work 🌻Product list: ✅Murad acne cleanser- I discovered this cleanser about 8 months ago and fell in love! I love using this cleanser in the morning and night because it does a great job at clearing my acne and getting rid of my hyperpigmentation! it is amazing at reducing the acne I get on my skin! I see a huge difference from before and after I use this! It’s amazing ingredients is everything that helps with my acne! ✅drunk elephant c firma serum- I discovered this serum from a friend recommending this to me after trying it and telling me how much it helped clear her acne prone skin ! I have been using this for about 6 months! I always use this at night and morning because I know when I wake up my acne looks super reduced and my skin is very soothed for when I start the day! I always use this first in my skin care routine! The amazing ingredients help so much with my acne! ✅Kate Somerville exfoliating treatment- I saw this all over social media when it came out, and when I saw some reviews for it I knew it would be perfect for my skin and I immediately bought it! I have been using this for about 6 months! I also only use this at night and whenever I use it before bed I see the biggest difference in my acne when I wake up! I use this right after I cleanse my face! The very thick consistency of this is super helpful before going to bed because I know I will wake up with super moisturized skin and my acne will be gone! ❌indie lee cleanser- I found this cleanser from a family member recommending it to me, and saying how much it helped with her acne! I saw the pricy price tag but I still went for it! I used it for a couple months of the summer, and it was perfect for my summer skin type! This has not really helped my acne, it is a great product for my dry skin, but it did not help my acne! I saw no difference when I used this at night and when I would wake up nothing changed! I used this right before using toner!Murad - Clarifying Cleanser DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum Kate Somerville - ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment INDIE LEE - Purifying Face Wash

MYTH: oily skin doesn’t need an oil...
HAHA. so i thought! I’ve had oily, acne prone skin all my life, and when someone recommended an oil to me, i thought “my skin makes enough oil on it’s own, why would i want more?” BRO. I DIDNT KNOW. TURNS OUT using a noncomedogenic oil like squalane, algae, or rosehip mimics the oil your face produces. Therefore your face thinks it has enough oil and will produce less sebum. less sebum = less acne. the oil also keeps moisture in your skin, making it more hydrated. I use THE inkey LIST - Squalane Oil but there are a TON of other oils for acne prone skin out there! These include dermalogica - Age Bright Clearing Serum SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Acne Treatment Face Oil tarte - Maracuja Oil

my current routine! part 1! ✨💓
soooo! this is my first post/review on cherie and i’m super excited to get into it! i thought id do nothing else but start by talking about my current skincare routine! i’ll go through my morning/nighttime routine step by step and talk about each product! step 1 - cleanse 💆♀️ so in the mornings i am currently using the youth to the people - superfood cleanser. i am absolutely in LOVE with this product! i think it’s so affordable (for the amount of product you get - 237ml) and it’s a great genetic cleanser. with the powerful antioxidants and superfood ingredients, it’s just perfect for a morning cleanse to start your day the right way! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser in the evening i have recently started using the tarte knockout cleanser! (sorry i can’t tag the actual product yet!) it’s a new release from tarte and it’s essentially an AHA/BHA serum and cleanser in one. it’s a super gentle exfoliating cleanser that i love to use at night time! it’s so gentle that i can use it daily and not face any extreme tingling or stripping. so far i am in love with it and it may potentially find a permanent spot in my nighttime routine! step 2 - tone 💧 at the moment, i have been using the fresh rose floral toner in the morning and the evening! i’m enjoying this product however i feel as if it doesn’t really do too much for my skin aside from balancing the pH level. i am looking for a new toner but this one is great as a starter toner for skincare new comers! really simple application with a spray head included in the box. definitely a goodie but not really what i need for my skin at the moment! fresh - Rose Floral Water step 3 - serums ✨ i have three different serums in total that i’m using at the moment. in the morning, i use the vitamin c+e glow super serum from sephora collection. i do enjoy this product, and it is SO affordable, probably my cheapest product. i do however want to get something different for this step as the serum is not doing a HEAP for my skin in regards to collagen production and firming. this is another fantastic starter product for those just getting into skincare however! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Ultra Glow Serum: Glow + Strengthen Vitamin C Serum the next serum i use in my current routine is the caudalie vinopure skin perfecting serum. this is one of the BEST serums i have ever used! it contains salicylic acid and i chose this specifically to help with acne/spot prevention, and it has done that! it’s so amazing that it has definitely earned permanent spot in my routine, not to mention, caudalie are a very environmentally conscious brand, which is always a plus! CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum continued in part 2! 💕

CLEAR SKIN? YES PLS😛
Who doesn’t love some AHAs & BHAs somewhere in their skincare routine? I do love them and this is a great one! Nothing crazy amazing, I would repurchase, but it gets the job done and that’s what matters! I think for the price, this is just excessive, but the product does its job, doesn’t sting or feel uncomfortable on my skin and I wake up with a slight glow and it helps my acne.☺️ I think I have another one that’s just a little better glow wise but this is a gem if you have pimples under the skin! 😘 HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum
HERBIVORE-Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum
My short PM routine that brings results!
In my long, and sometimes painful, skin care journey to clear skin... I have found that my skin really thrives when I keep my routines SIMPLE. I have been trying to do shorter routines lately, but short doesn’t have to mean that you sacrifice RESULTS. Here are my 4 products that I chose to really deliver bright, happy, soothed, and hydrated clear skin by morning. Step one: the allies of skin molecular silk amino hydrating cleanser. This cleanser is unlike any other that I have tried. It has a beautiful bright orange color, super jelly thick texture that lathers up so nicely, and this sleek silver packaging. My ONLY gripe about this product is that the lid is not attached in the packaging and it very difficult to twist on and off with wet hands; I wish it was a flip top (attached). Other than that, this product has beautiful ingredients, silicone and fragrance free, that really brightens your skin and keeps it bouncy + hydrated. It also removes makeup like a dream if you use on dry skin, emulsify with water, and then rinse clean. I like to use it as my second cleanse on damp skin, instead. It’s great for all skin types! Step Two: the allies of skin mandelic pigmentation corrector night serum. This is the most gentle acid serum that I have ever used! I can’t believe that this can be gentle yet SO effective, it eliminates all congestion and acne from my skin in just a few uses. I cannot rave about this enough! It has a great functional packaging that twists up and dispenses the perfect amount. It does have a yellow-milky texture that spreads easily onto the skin. On more sensitive skin types, such as myself, it may tingle a little bit, but mandelic acid is one of the gentler acids! I like to apply this right onto freshly cleansed skin, at night, and I use this every other evening or every night. I highly recommend this for anyone suffering with acne and congestion! Step Three: Krave beauty’s great barrier relief serum. This is the perfect serum to keep your skin happy, bouncy, moisturized, and SOOTHED. It has a wonderful blend of ingredients, including Tamanu oil that brightens acne scars, and ceramides to keep your moisture barrier in tact! I love the mint green color of this serum, and how easily its thin texture glides onto the skin. I usually use this after my night serum to really lock everything in. Perfect for people who are using acids in their routines and/or lives in a dry harsh climate! Step four: Drunk Elephant’s virgin marula oil. Last in my routines is always an oil. Facial oils are great for keeping everything locked down on your skin. It usually helps to avoid trans epidermal water loss. For my dehydrated skin, it is a must! THe DE marula oil is so silky in texture and you only need 2-3 drops, because a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this one, but there is certainly cheaper facial oils on the market. Allies of Skin - MOLECULAR SILK AMINO HYDRATING CLEANSER Allies of Skin - Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum Krave - Great Barrier Relief DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil

This mornings routine focusing on hydration + repair! I’m now on week 3 of Epiduo (BP and Adapalene) and so far, I’m pretty blown away by it. I forgot how quickly Benzoyl Peroxide works on my skin. From the second week, both of my cheeks have been completely clear (they were the areas affected) and PIH is fading at a nice rate, thanks to some supporting products I’ve been using. My chin purged quite quickly (ironically, I only had some closed comedones on that area, so now that looks worse than when I first began) and now continues to go back and forth between clearing up/breaking out. Toleration wise, it’s been easier than I expected given my past experience with Differin. I still have to be careful and cannot use it more than every other night + only applied after moisturiser, but I’ve only experienced mild erythema and some minor flakiness so far. I’m eager to share some B&As but it feels too preemptive! 💧 Cleanse with Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser - I went back to this when I had my PD flare and it’s been a nice addition in the AM whilst on Epiduo. The texture is just my fave (but I hate that scent). Removed with tepid water only. 💧 LED mask for 10 minutes with Neutrogena - an LED mask that utilises Blue Light (targets acne) and Red Light (stimulates collagen production + reduces inflammation) to treat acne. I’ve been using this for two months (ish) and it’s just as good as the DDG Spot Lite Device, but obviously more convenient if you need to treat larger surface areas. Since I’m not using any actives other with Epiduo as to not over stimulate/sensitise the skin, this has been a great companion to treat the breakouts + inflammation in a non-invasive way. 💧 Mixed Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense with PaulasChoice Peptide Booster. This has been my favourite combination in the PM (paired with a gentle pigment correcting serum that I’ll share soon! 🤐) when using Epiduo, together they are deeply hydrating + restorative. I had some flaking this morning so decided to use it this AM too.
