After a long day...
glowwitherin
After a long shift at work my skin still looks fresh and dewy! I applied two pumps of the hydro grip, spot concealed with Ilia and applied a thin layer of flex foundation. To say I’m pleased with my base products would be an understatement! My holy grails for sure! I apply the primer with my fingers and then fab in the concealer and foundation with a sponge ILIA - True Skin Serum Concealer

Drugstore v. Luxury Foundation
Is it me or is it always a struggle to find a good foundation?? anyone? well guys, here we go!
I usually try to match a foundation stick with a liquid foundation or a creamy concealer with a matte foundation!
In the purple sweater photo, I’m wearing MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation & Glossier. - Stretch Concealer ! I’ve haven’t used maybelline in *years*. I used to use it in high school literally every day but decided to take a break and dive into more luxury, clean skincare...
...which leads up to the photo in a black pullover, I’m wearing ILIA - True Skin Serum Foundation & Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick which I’ve been using the last year and a half but when I’m really dry on my face (mainly during winter), my face starts peeling ☹️ I think that’s it’s mainly the MM stick ugh
but the verdict? both wear and stay very, very well throughout the day & feel SUPER weightless
~however~ I will probably stick with the maybelline foundation for now since I’m not wearing full face makeup everyday and the glossier concealer but don’t knock Ilia & the MM stick because both are really nice for a more sheer look but it is a bit $$$
I love going back and forth on both combos. I really need to try maybellines concealer due to cost to glossier’s but man oh man glossier’s stretch concealer is probably the best concealer I’ve tried thus far! 👏🏼
I hope this helps anyone trying to decide on a drugstore or luxury brand! both are great and definitely worth trying! I love having both options, especially depending on the need of the type of look I’m going for ✨
happy Monday, Cherie fam! 🌝

This Is The End Friend - Chucky
So excited to be showing this spooky Halloween Look that I did! Chucky is obviously a classic and definitely frightened me as a kid, take this as me reclaiming that fear lol. I made my own scar wax to do this, followed a video online where all you’d need is flour and Vaseline. I’ll be honest it’s a tedious process but the end result as you can see is worth it.
I felt perfectly creepy in this, if I’m being honest it came out way better than I hoped. Sfx Makeup is an area that I would love to get better at, and I’m glad to see growth in this look.
I bought fake blood and liquid latex from Walmart, I don’t have a full sfx kit yet. But I did also use Milk Makeup products for my base, and if you follow me on here you definitely know how much I love the Milk brand.

Hydrp Grip Primer Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer

Milk hydro grip primer🔥!
I have been using the Milk hydro primer in my makeup routine for a couple weeks now, and I wouldn’t go back! At first the price made me a little iffy as $30 for a primer is high for me. But I’m so glad I did it! I have very dry skin, and a little goes a very long way. It feels cooling on my face, and leaves my face feeling plump. My foundation goes on smoothly with this primer, it grips my makeup and makes it stay throughout the day! Although bc of my dry skin I do moisturize before, and then apply facial oil and let it sit for about 2 minutes, then I go in with the primer and let that sit for about 2-3 minutes as well before I apply any makeup.

MILK MAKEUP IDENTICAL DUPE!!!
I can’t believe I found an identical dupe to the holy grail milk makeup hydro primer! 30 dollars compared to 6 dollars! As you can see, same color and consistency! I prefer the dupe over the actually milk makeup! It hydrates my skin better and doesn’t ball up when I apply my foundation. This is an amazing product and a must have for your makeup collection.

Ilia & Kosas on Sensitive Eyes- hit or miss?
I have very sensitive eyes, and just about every makeup brand (including natural/organic) I’ve tried irritates them; they get watery, sting, and within 20 minutes I have to run to the sink to get it off. I got to the point where I just didn’t want to bother trying anymore. Lately however, I’ve started looking again for that HG product that my eyes wouldn’t hate; I’m tired of looking at eyes that look permanently tired (hereditary dark circles). I did a bunch of snooping online, and after staring at Ilia products and Kosas for awhile, and reading reviews, I decided to spend the $$, so here’s my thoughts!
I swatchedILIA - True Skin Serum Concealer and Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer, and ended up giving Ilia’s a try.
I picked up their lightest shade, in Arrowroot. My skin leans combination and I wanted something that felt barely there. Kosas concealer is just what it advertises, it’s very creamy and has a very heavy consistency. Their lightest shade also was too dark on me, so I went with Ilia.
The concealer itself really does blend seamlessly into my skin, it has sort of this barely-there scent that I can detect if I sniff the bottle, but it isn’t something I’d ding it for. It kind of just smells like a yummy skincare product tbh. It has a super light consistency, if makeup could be serum-ish, I guess this would be it? It’s very light, and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything which is exactly what I hoped for.
The verdict? Hit! No stinging, no itchiness, no irritation. I was super pleased, and it held up all through the day without primer. No creasing really either, which I was impressed with. All in all I will 100% continue to use this, and I’d really like to try some of their other products! The price is a bit hefty, at $30.00 if you’re looking for more affordable products. But in this case I feel like I’m getting what I paid for, especially for a product that not only doesn’t piss off my eyes, but works beautifully.
As for Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara , I’m kind of sad. Here’s why:
It didn’t clump, and it did just what it says. My lashes were voluminous, but also looked very natural. And, most importantly, my eyes didn’t hate it. It felt fine, and all day I forgot I was wearing it. The one gripe I have with it though, is that within the first hour it began rubbing off underneath my eyes, which really sucks because I love everything else about this mascara. It proceeded to do so on and off throughout the day, and honestly it’s like most of it faded off. Due to that, l probably won’t continue to use it. I wanted this to be my HG, but it was kind of a miss due to the way the formula rubbed off and faded. I’m glad I got the mini to trial it instead of the regular size, which retails for $28.

My Simple and Clean Makeup Routine! 🌸🍒
I’m not the makeup expert (and never will be), but these products have completely changed my routine for the better.
💧Glossier Futuredew ($24): I was worried this product was going to be too much for my oily skin, but I love the natural glow this product gives me! Apply 1-2 pumps depending on your preference.
🍑 Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer ($28): Although this is a little on the pricey side, I think it’s totally worth it! This product is clean, but it’s medium-coverage formula gets the job done!
🍓 Cocokind Macabeet Tinted Moisture Stick ($8): I could understand why this isn’t the product for some people, but for natural beauty lovers like me, this is a great product! It gives a nice subtle tint. And the best part is that the color comes from beet root (but don’t worry it doesn’t stain)!
🍒 Glossier Lip Gloss ($16): If you want a more in depth review on this product, check out my article on my favorite lip products. But I’ll tell you this: This gloss is perfect for summer! It’s non-sticky formula gives such a beautiful gloss!

CLE DE PEAU??
Skin type : combination
About the product: A Japanese luxury beauty brand . Concealer that could be used as a foundation as well including SPF 25.
My thoughts : I actually do not recommend this product . I only bought it because a celebrity recommended it , but it has absolutely no amazing texture or glow at all. I find other concealers that are much less pricer than this one hundred times better. The product is $70 and not worth it .
Do I like it?
I would give this product 5/10 only because it does cover blemishes, otherwise I would give a 2/10 .
Would I recommend?
This product did not work for me I would suggest getting a sample before buying ,because it is on the the higher end size and you don’t get much product in the tube. clé de peau BEAUTÉ - clé de peau BEAUTÉ Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 25

This foundation is everything and more! It has light to medium coverage. I have dry skin and it does not cling to my dry patches. It’s long lasting and has a skin like finish. It’s just a beautiful formula! Worth every penny! I will save it for special occasions though. 🙈
PAT McGRATH LABS-Sublime Perfection Foundation
FOUNDATION: Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Foundation
Price: $68
My Skin Type: Normal To Dry
Shade: Light Medium 14 - light medium with neutral olive
Application : I used my fingers applying it mainly to the center of my face covering mainly my pores and under my eyes a little bit swept over my nose this gave me the most natural look like my skin but better. It blurred my pores and filled in a few fine lines under my eyes, when I was done it didn’t look like I had any foundation on which I really enjoyed. For brush application I used the Sonia Kashuk Duo Fiber Stippling Foundation Brush. It applied seamlessly, I ended up using 2.5 pumps just to build it up and see the most coverage I could get out of it. It blended out beautifully!
Coverage: Sheer to Medium -Buildable (light cover foundation that can build to medium coverage).
Texture/Finish/Feel: It feels like light velvet in my hands, very smooth and light enough to feel like a serum. I found the finish to be a soft radiant finish that looked better as I wore it.
Wear: I wore it on top of my @supergoop Glow stick to run errands and loved how dewy it was! It wore for only a few hours but it looked amazing,I got the most longevity out of @hourglasscosmetics VM but this is also the primer I save for special occasions and without a doubt makes any foundation look amazing. For date nights I used the @fentybeauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating and @tatcha Silk Canvas and this worked really well and stayed on all night, it let the foundation shine and do its thing. I got a great wear time from it and as the night went on it looked even better.
My Thoughts: I loved it! I love how it feels, I love the finish, the packaging is so luxurious especially figuring the price into it. As of right now I don’t know if I’ll repurchase it depends on how I feel when I run out! I really enjoyed this and I definitely encourage you to try it if your more into sheers. It’s one of those foundations that helps you fall in love with your skin again.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4 stars, mainly lost a star because of the price point but if that doesn’t factor into your purchase or you get it on sale like me then this would be all 5 stars.
***My rating system is based on 1-5 scale with 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest. I will use the Star emoji to convey this***

This Foundation is the BALM
When a product says that it’s “full coverage”... you expect it to be!!! For this Foundation Balm by Kevyn Aucoin ...it’s simply fabulous and full coverage worthy!!! Plus you do not need a lot to cover your face entirely and seamlessly. It leaves the skin looking radiant with a satin finish and thankfully for me, I don’t need a primer! (I rarely use primers anyways). It doesn’t sink into my pores or creases and doesn’t cake up either. Like I said before, you don’t need a lot to apply to the entire face but it’s easily buildable if you like more of a thick foundation look. This is my first product from this brand and I am IN LOVE!!! KEVYN AUCOIN - KEVYN AUCOIN Foundation Balm
KEVYN AUCOIN-KEVYN AUCOIN Foundation Balm
I recently purchased the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Foundation in the shade Light 2 and let me tell you, it’s incredible. It’s so luxurious, as are all of her products. I actually picked up the wrong shade, I meant to get Light 3 which has neutral undertones but Light 2 actually looks very nice even though it has peach undertones. It looks so natural on even though its medium coverage and it sinks right into the skin. I purchased this with a gift card but since it will last a while, I'd save up to purchase this again!
The only issue is that alcohol is the fourth ingredient. I haven’t had an issue with it so far.

A Few Favorites ✨
So I’ve recently been really loving the beautyblender bounce foundation, primarily influenced by my absolute favorite hindash! I usually struggle with finding shades that properly fit my neutral, but warm skin tone but the shade 3.25 N has been such a good match so far! I have been using it with their new opal essence primer, influenced by the most gorgeous human on the planet, miss basmabhamze, and it is SO great for my dry skin!
Another complexion favorite has been the jouercosmetics concealer which has blown me away due to the high coverage yet comfortable feel.. kathleenlights and so many others rave about it and with good reason! I like to use my complexion products interchangeably so that I can find a good mix of what I like depending on how much coverage I want that day. So far, I highly recommend these three pretty products♥️
