Glad I’m not Lactose Intolerant 💁🏼♀️
Hellooooo Milk Makeup! I can’t tell you guys how excited and in love I am with this stuff, it’s like they were all made for me! Matte Bronzer: I love. I love so much. It’s incredible value as this will last forever for a decent price. I was swiping it on my skim and blending out and then switch to going into the product with a brush then the skin and I honestly like both ways. It’s not for contouring as it’s quite warm, but it warms up the face for a sun kissed glow perfectly. It blends perfectly and isn’t super matte. It surprisingly works well over powder! And yes, it does smell like play dough Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer

After a long day...
After a long shift at work my skin still looks fresh and dewy! I applied two pumps of the hydro grip, spot concealed with Ilia and applied a thin layer of flex foundation. To say I’m pleased with my base products would be an understatement! My holy grails for sure! I apply the primer with my fingers and then fab in the concealer and foundation with a sponge ILIA - True Skin Serum Concealer Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick
This is my Milk Collection - Foundation Review
I picked up the Milk flex foundation stick in Creme and I cannot stop using it. It glides onto the skin and melts and blends in really beautifully with a sponge. When I apply a decent powder on top it stays in place all day, but will separate pretty badly on its own. The colour match is spot on and doesn’t cover up any glow that my skincare and primer provide! I’m not so sure about the skincare benefits, but my acne prone skin tells me that it’s good for those who are sensitive!! I’m going to keep this for travel as it’s so tiny and non liquid. I highly recommend using the hydro grip primer with it too! Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer

Monthly Product Reflection: April 2020
What I used most in April 2020 to run errands during the shelter in place orders. Fresh, light, and barely there. Chanel - UV Essentiel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enjoyed this sunscreen a lot while out on walks over the weekends, especially since some of my skin tints do not have a lot (if any) SPF. CHANEL - Les beiges water fresh tint Love this barely there coverage that just evens out the complexion and adds a some warmth to the face. tarte - Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette During the month of April, I went through some decluttering of old makeup and brought this one back out in the vanity! Love the neutral tones. Perfect for adding a sheer wash of color on the lids. Glossier. - You My normal everyday perfume. Spritzing this on made me feel like I was going through my normal routine despite these unprecedented times. Love how light this scent is! benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Got this as a sample in my Sephora order - and ended up buying the full size because I loved it so much! I have always been intimidated by brow gels, but this one was very easy to work with. I have thin brows; this definitely helped create a fuller look. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara I was not a huge fan of this mascara, felt like it did nothing to my lashes. Kosas - Color & Light Crème Blush Love this peachy cream blush! Very light, soft and easy to blend. This blush adds a light wash of color and pulls the look together. I find that this shade is very flattering on my skin tone that leans more on the yellow side. I docked off one point since I was not a huge fan of the highlighter. HUDA BEAUTY - Lip Liner in Trendsetter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a very cream lip liner that I apply all over the lips for a nice peachy slightly coral color.
Little orange cut crease I did today
I used the darkest orange shade from the Morphe 35B and I deepened up the crease a little with the red shade. I cut my crease with the Elf camo concealer and set it with the white shade from the morphe 35B then packed the gold shade from that same palette in my inner corner.

makeup in the military
🇺🇸 happy memorial day weekend! 🌊 explaination I’m an active duty service member in the Navy. Balancing femininity with the confines of a uniform can be pretty difficult at times. A lot of people question how much makeup I am allowed to wear and how/when. And I wear a full face! 🌊 so what can you wear? The general guidelines (lot of paraphrasing here) are that makeup must look natural looking, not be faddish, and not use overly bright colors/glitter. Special occasions do call for special looks, but I tend to wear the same products everyday. 🌊 what I do My goal is to make it look like I’m not wearing makeup even though I probably spent 30-40 minutes on my face that morning. I tend to skip eyeshadow to save time, especially with my hooded eyes. feel free to ask any questions! 🌊 My current daily makeup lineup Primer: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Concealer: MAYBELLINE - SuperStay Better Skin Concealer Setting Powder: REVOLUTION - Conceal & Fix Setting Powder Blush: Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Bronzer: Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer Brow Pencil ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil Brow Gel benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Setting Spray Urban Decay All Nighter Mascara Too Faced Damn Girl!
Milk make up MVP kit!
Milk MAKEUP - Milk Makeup Highlighter doesn’t show up after 1 swipe, but when it does it’s really faint... it is a gorgeous shade though Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water I love this product and it’s probably my favorite!!! It is soo refreshing and if I put it under my eyes in the morning, the dark circles disappear! Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer same situation as the highlighter, doesn’t show up, but in the actual packaging it is a gorgeous color!! Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum once again, I loveee this product so much it makes me feel refreshed and renewed, its also not very sticky which is good

Why I love Antioxidants - Skin Savers for Busy People
We all have demanding lifestyles. The signs of stress show up on your skin: sun damage, the effects of smoking and drinking alcohol, along with pollution, and combined with harsh exercise. All in all, our skin has a lot to cope with. My job is very full-on; this means I don’t have time or money to waste. Let’s get to the heart of the problem - because of our lifestyle factors free radicals form in our skin, like tiny time bombs that go off to damage healthy skin. We really don’t want these because they harm our proteins, DNA, healthy fats in cells and tissues, making us look old before our time. So the way to fight them off is with antioxidants. Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturizer Made from desert flower milk, fig milk, argan milk, all-vegan products it’s very nourishing full of antioxidants, and although it has a thick texture this absorbs easily, leaving my skin feeling soft, looking smooth, and feeling nourished. Recommended to those with normal and dry skin, using this made a difference in under two weeks of continual use. As a treat after a stressful week’s work, I bought myself Clarins Orchid Facial Oil. I had heard great things about it, so I tried it. I am so happy with the results I had to tell you about it. Clarins Orchid Facial Oil Made from 100% pure plant extracts full of essential oils, soothing Rosewood, Patchouli, and Blue Orchid extract; amazing properties that will revitalize, hydrate, and tone the skin. Hazelnut oil is used to lock moisture into the skin, leaving my face feeling soft and looking radiant. Now here comes the money shot - only apply to your face after using your moisturizer: it’s so effective. No more tired wrinkly skin in my house Clarins Extra-Firming Wrinkle Control - Anti-ageing night cream So we’ve done day time: but at night I love Clarins extra-firming wrinkle control night cream. Again great for all skin types, but what I really love is that it regenerates my skin while I’m sleeping. I’ve noticed over the last ten days of use that the loss of firmness and elasticity and the dullness has disappeared. I wake up with lovely radiant skin due to its antioxidant properties. It’s important to note that you pat the cream into the skin, instead of rubbing. Doing this stimulates the skin so the cream goes in deeper and the effects the next day are really noticeable.
How do you heal and treat your skin?
✨I’m gonna share with you my nighttime treatment my skin really appreciates, and how I wake up with much cleaner and radiant skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ For a very long time , I would always wake up with dull skin and uneven texture. There won’t be any radiance or glow , and its sort of demotivating to start the day like that. Acne wasn’t a big problem but it did occur few times a month and would always leave scars or blemishes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ A while ago I came across a Acne Treatment oil called ‘Meltdown’ by @blume 💕 ✨ What is it? It’s an oil for Acne Prone Skin which you can use to prevent acne, clear acne and blemishes. It’s a blend of all natural ingredients. ✨ Key Ingredients Rosehip, Blue Tansy, Tamanu, Lavender, Black Cumin Seed ✨ My thoughts At nighttime, I usually cleanse my with @blume milk based face wash ‘Daydreamer’ . I really like it because its so creamy and gentle. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or skin. To use ‘Meltdown’ , I mix a few drops of this essential oil based serum with @milkmakeup moisturizer. It calms down any inflammation I have and its a perfect nighttime treatment to heal my skin. Now I wake up with much clearer skin which I can feel confident about and start my day. It really heals the skin overnight and any acne I have goes away in a week or so. Its been amazing to clean up the blemishes, and there are only a few areas left. Also, for the people who weren’t able to use @milkmakeup vegan moisturizer because its too rich, I think it would be a great idea to mix it with an oil/serum so it suits your skin. - - What’re your favourite nighttime treatments? Let me know what you think ☺️ BLUME - Daydreamer Face Wash BLUME - Meltdown Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer
Charlotte Tilbury VS GlamGlow
Charlotte Tilbury - Hollywood Flawless Filter GLAMGLOW - GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter ($44) versus GlamGlow Mega Illuminating Moisturizer ($48)! ✨ I love a glowy look to my everyday makeup. Here are two similar products at similar pricepoints. Both claim to add an illuminating effect to the skin and both can be worn alone or on top of makeup. GlamGlow is more of a true moisturizer texture. It isn’t super thick, I would compare the texture to Farmacy’s HoneyDrop moisturizer. It’s pretty glowy with no makeup yet I found that it disappeared under makeup. Charlotte Tilbury is more of a glowy foundation. Under makeup, it looks gorgeous and adds the slightest coverage. I prefer this product because it also looks amazing mixed into makeup and personally, I prefer the golden glow of this product to the GlamGlow one. I have an oily skin type but neither of these break me out or make me too shiny as long as I add a powder on top. Both of these glowy products are great! Personally, I would go with the CT one because of its versatility and gorgeous natural glow ✨

Dr jart cicapair color correcting treatment‼️
This product has been one of my favorite for months now, and while this is the only product I’ve tried in the line I’m obsessed! Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 has five stars from me for sure! It is a huge tub for 52 dollars, which might seem like a lot but for the amount I promise it’s not! It has calming and soothing agents to calm the redness of your skin and honestly is so refreshing! It applies green then blends into your skin color quite nicely. Mind you, the tanner you are it might leave a slight white cast but for my pale skin it’s perfect! Tiger grass is a classic soothing ingredient used in a lot of k-beauty products! They also sell a mini bottle which in my opinion is not that small bc a little goes such a long way! Plus it’s an extra layer of spf which I think is awesome. If you haven’t grabbed it yet go try it!

Quick quarantine face
These are the products I’ve been using consistently every day to help maintain a sense of routine while working from home. This makeup look takes me ten minutes or less and helps me look put together on all my video calls! Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 I can’t recommend this enough as a base that evens out redness while providing SPF and looking like nothing is there. This + concealer on my active breakouts gives me all the coverage I need. Kosas - REVEALER SUPER CREAMY + BRIGHTENING Concealer Okay I LOVE this concealer. It covers my acne + scars and blends like a dream. This does crease pretty badly under my eyes if I don’t remember to set it, though. Milk MAKEUP - Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder Sets the Dr. Jart cream + my concealer and keeps them there all day. I couldn’t make this powder look cakey if I tried, which is why I plan to repurchase forever. Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Makes me look alive and awake. While I love the idea of being able to just swipe this directly on my cheeks and blend with my fingers like I’m some French model, I find that applying with a blush brush gives me more of the look I’m going for. Kosas - Port LipFuel Keeps my lips super hydrated, thanks to the hyaluronic acid, and gives them a wash of color that instantly makes me look more put together. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Nothing to complain about here! This mini has been lasting forever, and it’s the perfect everyday mascara for me. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel Pre-plague, I would fill in my brows every day with a pomade and then use this on top to fluff up my brows. Since I started working from home I’ve just been using this gel on its own and I’m loving it!

boscia bb cream - shade venice
boscia - Skin Perfecting BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Honestly.. not my favorite? The color blends out to a beige that fits my skin tone but it’s a little cakey. I have fair skin but I also have rosacea which means I need to color match to my neck and chest instead of my face. Claims: - protect & hydrate - blue light protective - decent against pollution - even skin tone Key ingredients: - rice blend - taro root - turmeric My thoughts - a little cakey but also not full coverage so idk how that works - hard to speak to the blue light and pollution protection because those are like long term things - evens my skin tone for sure! - I wish the shade range for this was better. There are four shades?! - $38 is ughh for a bb cream
boscia-Skin Perfecting BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30
I use this everyday as the last step of my skin care routine after applying my face cream. It’s in a light green color and smells like icy hot when u first smell it out of its container but the moment you put it on the face and spread it out the smell disappears so u wouldn’t smell like icy hot the whole day. Also the color I want to say turns slightly white and after applying, it gives your skin a lighter tone. It looks like I have foundation on but in reality it’s just my skin. It does dry up pretty fast once put on skin so spreading it out the moment you it’s put on the skin is a great idea. Though it does dry up quickly it doesn’t dehydrate the skin or anything. I have a very dry skin and it’s not drying or anything for me. I never tried putting it on right after washing my face, and I don’t recommend it either cause at that time i believe it could be drying on skin.Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30

Which skin tint is worth it?
Preface: I love skin tints. I much prefer having my natural skin tone, spots, and freckles/moles visible through a dewy foundation rather than having a full coverage matte look which accentuates my skin texture and dryness. These are both formulas I have tried and loved for different reasons but which one is more worth it? Products: UNDONE BEAUTY - Unfoundation Glow Tint Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 Price points: Undone: $14 for 1.19oz Milk: $42 for .7oz Applicator: Undone: they have since updated their packaging to a squeeze tube, but I also like this dropper applicator shown in photo 2. It’s hygienic and very easy to control how much you use. Milk: this is kind of strange, but I like that it has an airless pump at the end of the tube. The part I don’t like it the rollerball applicator at the dispensing end of the tube. Like stick foundations, this allows for bacteria (including acne-causing bacteria) to hang out on that applicator if applied directly to the face. This is annoying because every time I use it I have to apply it to the back of my hand and THEN dot it on my face with my fingers for a hygienic application. Scent: Undone: no powerful scent, maybe if anything a subtle clay scent. Milk: this formula is SPF 30 so it just smells like sunscreen. Texture: Undone: this is a super-lightweight thin liquid formula that can be applied directly with your fingers for the lightest coverage or a brush/sponge for slightly more coverage. It offers a SUPER dewy finish that can be set with powder to lessen your glow if preferred. Milk: this offers slightly more coverage and you only need the tiniest bit to cover your entire face. It is thicker than the undone formula and can also be applied with fingers or brush/sponge to customize your preferred coverage. I prefer to apply both of these as dots on my face first and then buffed out with a foundation brush meant for stippling. I also prefer to wear these formulas in the summer time when I am less pale. Overall experience & thoughts: The undone beauty tint is much more accessible being in Target stores and it’s more affordable but doesn’t offer a whole lot of coverage compared to the milk tint. However, each formula is buildable without any cake face. The milk Makeup formula does include SPF so that can be seen as a win but you can also easily apply the undone beauty tint over your daily SPF without issues. My personal preference is to wear the undone tint when I’ll be spending more time indoors and the milk tint when I’ll be spending more time outdoors. They are tints so YES I know neither of them completely matches my skin tone and that is the point, it’s a tint. I would say for the amount of product you get and accessibility for each price point, the Undone Beauty tint is more worth it. ALSO: my skin type is sensitive and dry & my skin tone is fair.
