🚨HAUL TIME🚨 (all items listed below!)
Hey everyone! I wanted to share all of the new products that I bought over the last week — PRODUCTS IM TESTING: RAW SUGAR - Healing Power Avocado + Banana Oil + Coconut Milk + Agave Hair Masque- this hair mask is sulfate, paraben, & silicone free. It's also bunny certified and color safe! this says that it has reparative ingredients and will help make my hair visibly healthier. also for each product RAW SUGAR sells they donate body care to a family in need. love that! ARDELL 3DFAUXMINK HOLIDAY COLLECTION: you can't really see it in my video but this is a target exclusive. It contains lash styles: 854, 858, and 859! also it's $10..... $10 for 3 pairs of lashes, say LESS! I really like Ardell lashes I also like to pick up packs of lashes rather than individual pairs just because I feel like it's easier for me so I have no doubt that I'll like these lashes. On to the repurchases..... Aquaphor - Lip Repair - this has been my go to lip product for winter because I am experiencing drier skin than I ever have during fall/winter so this is a godsend when it comes to chapped lips. Simple - Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes - let me just be clear I don't use these to cleanse my face! I keep them on my vanity for make up mishaps or you know little things that I need help with that with these, it is just a lot easier. DON'T USE MAKEUP WIPES AS CLEANSER. NYX - Matte Liquid Liner - this has been my go to liner products for years now! I'm thinking about trying something new but I trust this formula and it lasts a really long time. ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum - my followers KNOW i love this stuff. if you're trying it out pls remember to SHAKE before use to activate the product! it is a smaller container it comes with a .67 fluid ounces but I feel like it still lasts me a really long time. BURT’S BEES - Sensitive Eye Cream - another fave! super easy to use packaging but the only reason I give this four stars is, you can't really tell when you're out of product because the packaging is opaque so I don't really know if I'm out of my eye cream yet I just don't want to run out of it! 🤣 Herbal Essences - Bio:Renew Honey & Vitamin B Moisture Shampoo + conditioner - I rave about this collection especially for my color treated hair it makes my hair feel super soft and doesn't weigh it down at all! (check out my dedicated post on this duo) ARDELL - Pro Brow Trim & Shape - best brow razors on the market! small enough to get in tight place but i haven't tried it for full face. CLARISMA - Cool Ocean Breeze Daily Cleanser CLARISMA - Malibu Blush Exfoliating Scrub - y'all know how much i love these do i even need to say it? As always, sending love. Thanks for reading. ❤️ #cheriecreator #cheriepartner

ARE YOU EXFOLIATING SAFELY? 😟🤭
Here are some do's and dont's of exfoliating safety. The most important term when it comes to overexfoliation is MICROTEARING. Now what is microtearing..... Microtears are caused by overscrubbing which makes the skin more vulnerable to environmental damage, pollution, and sun damage. Okay so what's the safest way to exfoliate.... well drier skin types should beware so 1-2x a week should help to balance skin without overdrying. While oilier skin types can handle 2-3x a week WITH the proper products! Now let's get into these do's & dont's! DO: exfoliate at night! exfoliating allows your active ingredients to deeply seep it into your skin and sleeping is when your body is doing the most work when it comes to healing so putting the two together will enhance your skin care routine. wear your spf! obviously this is a skin care staple, you need to be wearing SPF especially after exfoliating which causes more sensitivity in the skin because you're exposing your fresh skin to the elements. do what you can to protect it! exfoliate more than JUST your face! your face is a little more fragile when it comes to exfoliation but it's really great to just give your body a good scrub because it goes through so much! use chemical/enzyme exfoliants! I stress this in every post but you need to do your own research on what ingredients are safe for your skin! some physical exfoliants can CAUSE microtears just cause it FEELS like it's exfoliating deeply does not mean it's being done correctly. DON'T's exfoliating everyday! huge no no like I said in the beginning this is the perfect breeding ground for micro tears, redness, irritation, etc. take the time to learn what YOUR skin needs. exfoliating AFTER treatments! for example: waxing, bleaching, laser, facial peels. these are all within their own right forms of exfoliation so again if you go in with extra you may cause more damage than you would think! ignoring the warning signs! again please recognize when your skin is reacting or if it's just a feeling of the ingredients. some ingredients do you have a cooling effect like peppermint but sometimes it may be that your skin is asking you to stop. if you feel AT ALL irritated by a product: STOP USING IT! i recommend patch tests to everyone just to be safe. aggressiveness! your exfoliant is doing its job so there's no need to apply extra pressure or anything. just allow it to work and be cautious because again the skin on your face is very fragile so you have to do what you can to take care of it! Comment below if you have any questions, I'm here to help! As always, sending love. Thanks for reading. ❤️ #cheriepartner #cheriecreator
SKINCARE: NIGHT ROUTINE BASICS!
Finally part two of my skin care basics! A lot of the steps are the same but I do have different products in those places. Let's get into it.... 1) MAKEUP REMOVER: this step is essential after a long day, look at this like double cleansing so they scheduled the service layer off before your cleanser goes in to get a deeper clean. my product: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm 2) CLEANSER: cleansing helps to get rid of dead skin, pollutants, oils, dirt, and bacteria in general but many dermatologists & estheticians recommend that you should wash your face first thing in the morning so that you can prepare your skin for any other products that go on top of it. my product: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser 3) EYE CREAM: the eye area is a super fragile, sensitive part of the face so your best bet is to apply your eye cream right away. to allow for maximum moisturization, apply first and pat around the area GENTLY! also in the AM, eye cream can help tighten and depuff the eyes. my product: BURT’S BEES - Sensitive Eye Cream 4) TONER/ESSENCE/MIST: this step can help to prime your skin to absorb active ingredients, do you research on whether you should be using a toner or an essence. shameless plug, one of my first posts is about the difference between toners and tonics, check that out for help. my products: pixi - Collagen Tonic pixi - Hydrating Milky Mist 5) SERUM(S): this stuff delivers the bulk of active ingredients to your freshly primed face! if you apply serums over thicker formulas (moisturizers, etc.) they may not penetrate as well. serums DIFFER from day to night. be sure to choose ingredients that are SAFE for the time of day you're using them. (i.e. retinol should be used AT night, vitamin c during the day) my product: PACIfICA - Dream Shot Beauty Sleep Booster Serum 6) RETINOL: as stated above right now is best used at night! i use a retinol alternative. check out my dedicated post on bakuchiol vs. retinol! my product: ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum 7) MOISTURIZER: think of this as a way to seal in everything you just did! look for hyaluronic acid & other ingredients that lock in moisture. my products: CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream CLARISMA - Cali Dreaming Cream Daily Moisturizer 8) SPOT TREATMENT: only if necessary, you should be applying spot treatment on active breakouts both morning & night to accelerate the healing process. my product: JĀSON - JĀSON Tea Tree Oil 9) FACE OIL: i have a special post also on what face oils can do for oily skin! they help trap moisture in your skin & as a protective barrier. think of it like skin care topcoat. my product: ACURE - Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil Thanks for reading! ❤️

MASKNE FIGHTING SKINCARE PRODUCTS 🙋🏻♀️✨
My job requires me to wear a mask often, I interact with a few people a day, and that reflects on my skin after wearing a mask for all that time. Also, just want to say this is in no way a complaint about the mask guidelines! Masks protect everyone else & I am more than happy to sacrifice a breakout over someone else's family member/loved one getting sick. So with that being said: PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK! Anyway, this is an entirely new realm of skincare & we're still learning the best ways to deal with wearing the mask every day. The biggest thing that you have to remember is you are not a prisoner to what's happening on your face! I have remind myself this often but stay calm & let's find a solution together. Here are four of my skin saving products! All of which have been not only preventing but helping to treat any previous break outs. CLARISMA - Malibu Blush Exfoliating Scrub - i RAVE about this guy but it's well deserved! i've used it for months without switching unless i can't get my hands on it. it's super inexpensive and effective which are two things that make it easy to keep re-purchasing. clarisma is an enzyme based line & those ingredients help to promote bright, even skin tone once it starts to turn over new skin cells (every 21 days) CLARISMA - Angel Sleeping Balm Night Mask - i've started using this more as the colder weather is creeping up but like I said before Clarisma Beauty is enzyme based and this product is the highest active amongst the line. my skin is drying out as winter approaches so using night masks like these help to build beautiful skin & maintain it. seriously, i will have a dark mark or breakout then i'll wear this and it's like the healing process is halfway done. JĀSON - JĀSON Tea Tree Oil - another product I have talked about before! this specific product is what i use to spot treat any dark marks or even fresh pimples. it is tea tree essential oil & again this product is SKIN SAFE but not all are. you must dilute if you aren't using a skin safe version! anyway, i love this because it lightens my dark marks but doesn't whiten my skin. it's natural & a better alternative to some harsher treatments. ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum - i've been testing this for about a month now and i have to say i am IMPRESSED! check out my old post on bakuchiol vs. retinol for more detailed info on what this ingredient does. think retinol benefits without the consequences! this product seriously delivers on that! also I really love the texture of it you have to shake it before using because it has two layers but it really soaks into my skin. after a month now i think it's really helping to even out my skin not only in tone but in texture! Let me know if you guys are interested in a part two! (I ran out of room here) As always, sending love. Thanks for reading. ❤️ #cheriecreator #cheriepartner

When To Toss Out Makeup & Skincare After Opening
Hi my name is Petra 🙋🏾♀️ and I definitely have makeup that's 10 plus years old. But I'm trying to break bad habits and do a little bit of "spring cleaning." It's important that we toss out these products because expired makeup can harbor bacteria that causes acne. Also these products aren't as pigmented and vibrant as before, powders can be packed down and hard to use. Same with old skincare products, they can also harbor acne causing bacteria and past expiration active ingredients can become ineffective. Is there anything we can do to extend the shelf life???? Yes!!! You can keep your skincare products in the fridge, this can not only extend the shelf life, but also allow the ingredients to stay stable - especially vitamin C. Also, it's recommended to store your makeup in a dry area, it's recommend not to store your makeup in the bathroom because of the moisture. Moisture can lead to bacteria growth. Lastly, we have more direct access to these makeup and skincare companies, I have slid in many of their DMs asking questions like can I place their products in my beauty fridge and will doing so extend the shelf life. Do you have any old makeup and skincare products you can't part with?? *** My Too Faced Peach Leopard Bronzer Is at least 15years old, discontinued and my holy grail. I just can't throw it out.
DIY brow lamination! $30 for $120 salon-worthy results
As a beauty lover, I always try the latest beauty methods unremittingly. One of them is the brow fit trend. My eyebrows are very sparse, and I have not plucked them for two years to make them grow. So when I saw this new technology, I felt that maybe there was hope for me and my brows. Salon treatments usually cost around $120 and last for six to eight weeks, but because the salon is closed, I decided to try lamination of my eyebrows at home. I got this kit from amazon only costs $30! How did it work? First, I used the eyelash glue of this kit to glue the eyebrows to the desired position. I applied the perm liquid solution on one eyebrow at a time and then topped plastic wrap on it to make the chemical work. Eight minutes later, I used the fixing solution to set the broken hair bonds into the shape that was glued at the beginning. When I applied it, my forehead area started to foam. That is normal, so don’t be worried. I also put it on my eyebrows with plastic wrap for eight minutes. After removing the chemicals, the next step is to clean them. Finally, I used the nutritional oil included in the kit. It’s an essential step because the chemicals used in the lamination process can dry out the hair. The photo is the result immediately after! The eyebrow lamination at home took about an hour, and I can say it’s efficient and affordable! BUT, If you want to have a try, please make sure you’re not allergic to these chemical things and be cautious when applying them. Product used: Elevate the Beauty - Eyebrow and Lash Lamination kit. Unfortunately, this kit has already sold out.
