i have acne and eczema :( really hard to work with since i don’t want to dry my skin out or make it break out 🦋🍓☁️🧊
update on curology
curology seems to be working! i’ve seen less breakouts! usually when i get breakouts i get a bunch of little bumps. but now i’ve just gotten like single bigger pimples which kind of bothers me but at least i don’t get big breakouts. although this does seem to be working it dries out my skin quite a lot! my eczema is starting to flare and i’m now using the CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin which helps my skin a lot! hopefully my skin continues to clear up and also stays hydrated! i’ll keep you guys updated.
curology skin journey + what is my acne called?
trying out curology on acne with my eczema prone skin ⭐️ i have been trying out curology for the past week. i’ve always wanted to try it since the topicals that my dermatologist has given me recently haven’t helped my skin out at all. I’ve been so fed up with my skin and it really brings down my self-confidence. worst part of this whole thing is that I don’t know what type of acne I have, therefore I don’t know which products could help clear it. I was also really scared to try curology since I know that my skin is extremely dry. I was worried that curology would completely dry out my skin. however so far, my eczema hasn’t been as bad as I imagined it to be. review (so far): Curology - The Cleanser this cleanser is pretty gentle. It doesn’t foam up and it’s more like a jelly texture. Pretty similar to the Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser . however, this does seem to dry out my skin. But this can be fixed with some ointment and moisturizer. I also cleanse twice a day which could be part of the reason why I’ve noticed that my skin has dried out so much. Curology - Curology formula now this curology formula seems to be helping quite a bit. Ever since I started using curology I have noticed the difference in my acne. I’m not sure exactly what it is but I believe that it brought down some bumps and pimples that I had previously. but of course I still do get breakouts which will hopefully start to minimize later on. Curology - The Moisturizer I know that chirology was made for mostly people with acne prone/oily skin. So I knew that the moisturizer will be a lot thinner than one that I would typically use. I don’t hate this moisturizer since it does slightly hydrate my skin. However it is not enough hydration for eczema prone skin. because of this I also have to use the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion Lightweight which i do highly recommend. i hope this helped any of you who are considering curology. i’ll keep you all updated and let you know if it works well or fails miserably. also, if you guys could maybe help on any products for my skin it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

How to reduce milia effectively? My HG cleanser!
Months ago, I found some tiny but annoying white bumps under my eyes. My friends told me they are milia. I was confused and I hoped to get rid of it immediately. So I did some research on the internet. I read some articles Quick overview of milia🔍 MILIA are small white to yellow colored cysts formed when skin flakes or keratin get trapped under the skin. Some people may call them “milk spots.“ They occur commonly around the eyes and on cheeks but can appear anywhere. They tend to occur as a result of skin damage (like sun damage) or excessive use of harsh products on the skin. Milia VS Pimples At first, I regarded these milia as pimples. But my friend told me they were different! Attempting to pop them may cause further inflammation and scarring. The pores need to clear out the built-up keratin for the milia to go away. So, AVOID picking or poking them! How Do I Get Rid Of Milia? They usually go on their own. So like I have said before, NEVER picking or poking them to avoid scarring and infection. If you want to get rid of it quickly, you can try some chemical peels. Use a retinoid cream or AHAs and BHAs at night to reduce their occurrence. I have sensitive and acne-prone skin so I need a gentle cleanser to exfoliate my skin. I have seen many reviews saying good things about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser. I included it in my PM routine and magically my milia got better. I also used Elemis PAPAYA ENZYME PEEL. I heard that it's a great option for beginners who are nervous of aggressive formulas. I have been using these products for about 5 weeks. No redness, no stinging, just smooth skin! A few more TIPs👇 Avoid using oil-based creams Avoid scrubbing the face too often CCW! If you have experienced the same things like me, you can comment and I will see what I can do.

This is one of my favorites products ever!
HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewell Not only is this acne patch amazing, but it’s also drug-free and great for my super sensitive skin! This is one of the only acne treatments that hasn’t irritated my skin and it works wonders for stubborn blemishes! I couldn’t be happier with this product, it’s super easy to use and the results are amazing. It helps to reduce inflammation & redness caused by a pimple and extract impurities from the blemish. It also helps to keep you from touching and picking at the blemish, which can spread bacteria and irritate skin.

Oil to clear clogged pores?! 🤯🤯🤯
So I read an article somewhere about a girl using oil to clear her clogged pores. Sounds counterintuitive right??? Well, turns out it makes sense and it actually WORKS! All you need is a skin friendly oil like coconut, argan, almond or whatever suitable oil you have. Pour a generous amount into your hands (about a quarter sized amount) and massage it into a clean, dry face for 10-15 minutes, at the very least. As you rub, you’ll begin to see ( and feel!) the blackheads and dirt clogging your pores come out! Follow-up afterwards with your regular cleanser and any treatments you usually do. Apparently oil breaks down oil and the warmth and massaging helps to dislodge the debris clogging your pores. Try it out and let me know how it works for you!💕
THIS IS NOT ACNE! Have you experienced this?
For once in your life, you’ve probably experienced this weird feeling on your face! These small, red, bumps on your cheeks or forehead. You may think it’s a growing pimple. But it’s been a week or more and it’s still not gone! It’s never grown into that disgusting white, swollen volcano you call a pimple. Fear not! Your skin will get better because this is most likely a case of prickly heat rash. What is it? It’s a skin condition caused by blocked sweat ducts and trapped sweat beneath the skin. This is because of hot and humid weather. Symptoms -red tiny bumps -itchiness -prickly feeling *THIS IS SHORT TERM IT LASTS WITHIN DAYS TO WEEKS* I’m not saying you should stop exercising or not move at all! I’m saying you should always make sure you wipe that sweat away or take cool showers. I’m letting you know this because, I TOO, have experienced this recently. I thought it was my skin breaking out. But they never came to a pimple so I was scared my cheeks and forehead was going to be bumpy and feel like sandpaper forever. But I did my research and started paying more attention to what I do. Which came to realizing that after working out in the morning, I DON’T take a shower right away. I usually sit down and go through social media first. WORSE CHOICE POSSIBLE! So that ended up with all the sweat accumulated on my forehead to become into, yes, a heat rash. So I started a new routine, brought a towel to my daily workouts, and wiped them off every time I felt sweating a river. I made sure I DID NOT SKIP my skin care routine! MORNING AND EVENING! DID MY FACE MASKS! And I made sure my showers were JUST RIGHT, never too cold or too hot! The more you shower in hot temperature, the more it will worsen your skin and rash. If you take showers in hot temperatures, it will dry out your skin more!! And thankfully after around 2 and a half weeks, my face started feeling smooth again. I don’t see bumps anymore. What I’m trying to say is, don’t panic over a skin condition you encounter! Do your research, don’t skip your skin care, and sleep well! *The first 3 pictures are sample pictures of what a heat rash looks like* *I wish I had taken a photo when I had the rash! But my skin now is extremely clear ONCE MORE, so the last picture is my skin now after all the rash craziness* I hope this helps!
This is my all-time, holy grail, ride or die serum...and I’m out 😭 Here’s a brief overview of my skin before I get into the product review: My skin is not problematic; I get a breakout during ‘that time’ of the month and I have a wee bit of redness in my cheek area. My skin is however incredibly, painfully dry. I can’t use anything that isn’t suitable for dry skin bc, if I do, my skin will feel like it going to crack. The Glass Skin Refining Serum ($39) created by Peach and Lily, is serum that I use every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 day. I’m seriously bummed that I cannot go out an repurchase this atm. The cocktail of ingredients is amazing for people with incredibly dry skin - it is good for all skin types though. ✨ This serum has a hyaluronic acid complex that draws in hydration and deeply hydrates every single layer of my skin by using long-chain, medium-chain, and short chain hyaluronic acid. ✨ Peach and Lily included niacinamide; an ingredient used to reduce inflammation in the skin. Niacinamide, because it reduces inflammation, is a really amazing ingredient for people with ance-prone skin It’s also and antioxidant, so it’s also a wonderful anti-aging ingredient. When I use this product, my skin glows brighter and my skin feels bouncier! My skin drinks it up! I am constantly trying new skincare products, and I very rarely repurchase unless I am absolutely obsessed. This will be one of the first things purchase once quarantine lifts!

HAIR GROWTH MIRACLE! NEW castor oil product👍
I've heard a lot of good things about castor oil. Castor oil has many benefits to skin and hair. I am suffering from hair thinning and loss. I've tried some shampoos like Mane 'n Tail and Kérastase. But I didn't see any progress. 😟 My sis suggested me try castor oil or argan oil. She works in Sephora and she recommended me this new castor oil product in Sephora. 👉FABLE & MANE Pre-wash Hair Treatment Oil (I left it in my sister's apartment so I cannot take a photo for it. You can find it in Sephora.) I apply it as hair mask to the scalp and leave for 2 hours. After two hours, I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner. I use it every 2 days before washing my hair. Here's the photo after using it for a month. See the newborn babies! What a miracle! I also noticed that it was hydrating and good for my split ends. It is a little bit expensive ($34.00 for 55 mL) but really effective. I'll definitely recommend it. There might be more affordable and effective hair growth products out there and this was what just worked for me. If you try some other castor or argan oil products, please share with me your experiences!
