My Sunscreen Awards!!!-Part 1
In its most crucial role, sunscreen protects your skin from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays, which are most commonly associated with skin aging; these beams cause fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots that make skin look prematurely older. So it's quite important to find the RIGHT sunscreen products!!! Here is mu review of 9 sunscreen I've tried (it's too long so I divide it into 2 parts😉😉) Murad - City Skin Broad Spectrum SPF50 PA ++++ 50ml

☀️☀️We hate Suncream yet we are hopeless without it☀️☀️ UNPROTECTED SUN exposure is the number-one cause of two things most of us would rather avoid: skin cancer and premature aging. And yet, the people who neglect daily sunscreen are swift to offer up justifications, chief among them: “I just don’t like the way it feels” Widespread sunscreen aversion has led many brands to bridge the sunscreen and skin care categories, creating lightweight everyday facial formulas that incorporate antiaging and antioxidant ingredients, boast a more appealing texture (sheer! weightless!), and provide imperfection-blurring technology. But with hundreds to choose from, how do you find one that inspires devotion? My solution: Test 50 top formulas As for my personal issues with sunscreen engagement: I have a dusky complexion and very sensitive skin, ergo, my skin gets pigmentation easily; A facial sunscreen that doesn’t upset my sensitive skin’s fine balance can seem like a unicorn. I prefer moisturizing formulas with dewier results; matte finishes tend to magnify fine lines, I’ve found. I want a sunscreen that neither feels heavy on my face nor is detectable by anyone else. My ideal formula must also play well with any makeup I use: I’ve learned, for instance, that the white cast of classic zinc formulas plus blush can leave me looking very mime-y. And last, but certainly not least, it must be fragrance-free or at least scented to a barely discernible degree. Fragrance can be a sneaky skin irritant, and I would rather my face didn’t smell like cloying coconuts or shampoo. I dutifully tested a massive pile of sunscreens of every creed with all the aforementioned criteria in mind. It’s true that you won’t like using sunscreen until you find sunscreen you like using. Here are 12 to consider Best for Sensitive Skin EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46/ First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 40 Frequently, and deservedly name-checked by dermatologists (Dr. Marmur is a fan), this SPF-46 formulation goes on clear, is full of niacinamide (an anti-inflammatory vitamin B3 derivative), and crucially, it won’t give you zits. “I love it because it’s sensitive enough to use if you have acne, dryness or rosacea but also isn’t greasy for those with oily skin Best for No-Frills Folks SkinCeuticals Light Moisture UV Defense SPF 50/ Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion SPF 30 Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 A basic sunscreen is not a bad thing. This one feels not unlike your favorite pared-down, lightweight body moisturizer: hydrating without leaving any residue. It’s equally suitable for face and body which saves you the trouble of having to buy a second sunscreen Best for Makeup Wearers Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30/ Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense SPF 30 Supergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 Though called a serum, it’s more akin to a moisturizer—a silky, featherweight moisturizer at that. Upon application, it sinks right into the skin, has a smooth finish and won’t compete with any makeup you top it with. It makes for a very easy swap for the morning moisturizer currently in your skin care routine. Best for Serum-Lovers Solid & Striped Face Sunscreen/ Glossier Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen SPF 35 Bumble and bumble. - Solid & Striped Surf Spray, Malibu Beach Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen The best compliment that you can pay to a sunscreen is that it doesn’t seem like a sunscreen. And this facial formula— the first skin-care product from swimwear brand Solid & Striped—feels nothing like a sunscreen and everything like a lightweight serum. This appealing quality made remembering to use it very easy. That it looks a bit moist and dewy on the skin also helps Best for Dry Skin Vive Sana Daily Protezione/ Origins A Perfect World Age-Defense Skin Guardian With White Tea ORIGINS - A Perfect World Age-Defense Skin Guardian with White Tea The zinc-based formula is rich and immensely hydrating (it’s full of argan oil), like a solid night cream. The mineral sunscreens I tested rarely felt weightless, but this one proved to be a true exception. Hi everyone I just want to say thank you to everyone for following my skin journey 2020! I just want to say what a year it has been. With everything going on with being quarantine and being stress out. I’m still trying to figure out why it’s always my right cheek to always breakout or flare up or always constantly red. But I can finally say I have found a product that has helped with my skin and it leaves it Silk and smooth all day long and night! And doesn’t leave it itchy or irritated. I’m so happy I have found my face not breaking out as much and it seems to help calm my rosacea on some days. I’m stilling looking to hear what has help people who are dealing with rosacea problems? And looking how to get rid of a dark spot that is in the middle of my forehead?
My Fav Sunscreen: Avène & La Roche-Posay
First of all, my skin type is combo/dry, so here are the sunscreens that i love to use daily. Avène Hydrance Optimale Hydrating CreamAvène - Hydrance Optimale SPF 25 Hydrating Cream There are four versions for the Avène's Hydrance series: Regular light, regular rich, UV light and UV rich. I have used all four of them before. I don't like the regular versions so I stopped using them after a while. But the UV versions are amazing! Although we know that daily use of sunscreen is important, we don't need a sunscreen with high SPF levels for our daily activities since a higher SPF is actually more of a burden to our skin. This product with an SPF of only 20 meets our needs perfectly! It combines moisturizing cream and sunscreen together very well. I'll use the rich version in winter and the light version for all the other seasons. It feels great on my face! There's no greasiness or dryness that comes with ordinary sunscreens. la roche posay anthelios xl shaka fluid I use this when I need high-level UV protection. It feels good on my face as it's absorbed quickly, isn't greasy, doesn't make my skin dry nor does it ball up.

Avene sunscreen-nowhere to be seen?
I am a big believer of using sunscreen every single day. It’s vital to your skin’s health and aging. I used to use this sunscreen lotion every morning after I washed my face. I heard it’s discontinued now or the formula changed..I didn’t find this specific one online, but I actually have 2 extra bottles still. (I’m currently trying the Supergoop sunscreen-just to make sure I have something to fall back on if Avene really does discontinue this product!) I was initially intrigued by this product was that it’s a French brand and I think French women have amazing skin! I’ve tried the brand Embryolisse and love that! So, I thought I’d give the brand Avene a go. I was in the market for a new sunscreen, as many drugstore sunscreens- such as neutrogena- left a white film on my skin, made me break out and did not photograph well in flash photography. This product is marketed as “Formulated with powerful antioxidants and soothing Avène Thermal Spring Water, it is ideal for daily use or in-sun activities and absorbs quickly into the skin for a natural, mattifying finish.” It’s fragrance, paraben and oil-free! It’s water-resistant for 80 minutes- that’s a claim I never really tested out. I loved that it has SPF 50 and a matte finish. I have combo skin, which is more towards the oily side in the summer, so a matte sunscreen was necessary. It’s easy to apply, just squeeze a dollop out of the bottle. The consistency is runny, it’s not very thick. I feel like it gets messy sometimes because I’ll accidentally squirt too much product out and there’s no way to put it back in the bottle. So I just apply the rest to my hands. I always used a moisturizer afterwards though, even though it says it’s a moisturizing lotion- my skin just needed a little more hydration! For normal skin, this might be enough moisturizing though! Only on days when I wasn’t going out of the house, I’d use it alone without a moisturizer. My pores never felt clogged and it truly was lightweight. I never felt like I was wearing anything heavy on my face. Oh and this also does not have a fragrance...which is great because I hate the traditional smell of sunscreen- BLAHHH. I think this product is very much worth your time, I used it for almost 3 years now and it gets the job done. It’s also hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic. I never broke out using this product and a little goes a long way! It’s totally worth adding sunscreen to your skincare routine it only takes an extra 20 seconds. I would recommend this sunscreen lotion if you have normal skin, you can skip moisturizer completely and use this 2 in 1 solution, and oily skin people, this will help keep your oily skin matte. It retails at $28 for 1.7oz and ONLY for your face. It’s pricey but since it worked well with my skin, I never did mind paying $28 for a bottle which lasts me almost 3 months. I’d give this product a 4 star review- only because of the consistency being too runny. I really hope they don’t discontinue it. 😭

😏 I seriously have so many products to try so if you enjoy my product reviews, then keep those 👀 out! Today I’m going to talk about a product that I am completely obsessed with - supergoop Superscreen 💫 I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this baby since the day supergoop announced its launch. It wasn’t easy getting it, but I’m so happy I finally have it in my possession and it definitely didn’t disappoint 🤩 . . Superscreen is a moisturizer and sunscreen in one - like seriously, what more could you ask for?! It is extremely hydrating, provides the healthiest glow and protects you from the harmful rays of the sun + blue light (it contains SPF 40 - NO white cast)! I am not kidding when I say this stuff is amazeballs 😍 the texture is quite creamy but feels extremely lightweight on the skin and a little goes a long way. It smells like.. I’m not sure hahaha a flower that I’ve smelled before but nothing too overwhelming. If you’re lazy and hate applying multiple products, then you need this in your life. Even if you’re not lazy, you still need this in your life. It’s just THAT good and I want everyone to give it a try 😂🤣 I think it’s affordable ($38 US/$54 CAD) because you literally kill two birds with one stone with this baby and it will also last you a looong time! 👌🏼
Supergoop!-Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++
The best SPF for under makeup!!
The Unseen Sunscreen abroad Spectrum SPF 40 by Supergoop! is the best sunscreen to wear under makeup! It is a totally invisible, weightless, scentless, and makeup-gripping sunscreen that protects the skin from sun damage but also acts as a primer for makeup application. This product is targeted towards dullness and uneven texture, oiliness, and pores. However, even though it is targeted for oiliness, it works incredibly well for my dry skin too. The Unseen Sunscreen does contain silicones that give it the slippy feel that glides effortlessly on the skin and leaves it feeling incredibly smooth. On days where I am not wearing makeup, I will usually use an SPF in more of a cream formula. However, this is my favorite for under makeup! I’ve been using this product for 3 years now and really like it. On makeup days, this is almost always the SPF that I go to. It protects my skin without giving off any white cast. Supergoop!’s Unseen Sunscreen is definitely worth its $32 price tag. It is a wonderful product and you only need the smallest amount so this tube will last a very long time! I would definitely recommend this SPF to any makeup lover! Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40

Review of Transformulas Flawless Photo Glow Daily Skin Radiance SPF 30+ It's claims are that it will increase glow and luminosity, will restore natural radiance and improve tone and clarity all within 2 weeks... And using 'Cosmetic Drone Technology' it targets specific skin cells delivering active ingredients exactly where your skin needs it. Rich in anti-oxidants and vitamins A, C, D and F which help regenerate cells, improve collagen synthesis and also de-crease lines and wrinkles. There's also lactic and glycolic acid which will both work towards helping with radiance and tone and clarity. I have really enjoyed using this every morning as my moisturiser and spf in one. The pump action bottle delivers a generous amount with one pump, and I used 3 pumps a day to give me the adequate spf protection. Second to water it's main ingredient is squalane which my skin drinks up, so this is a very hydrating product, and even with my dry skin I found this as a moisturiser and spf enough most days. Although I would always still use an oil in the morning under my moisturiser, but if you're not dry this will definitely be moisturising enough for you skip that step. These last couple of weeks my skin has been great, I've not suffered any congestion, I've not felt the need to use any acids or exfoliating masks so it may well be down to the effects of using this product... I will definitely continue to use this and for a 50ml it's great value for money for a broad spectrum spf product that does so much for the skin. Definitely one for those who like multi-use products and want a parred back routine.
Favorite everyday SPF!
dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ Product description: The Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA++++ is an everyday sun protector for sensitive skin. As is it water-based, it holds a gel-type texture to give a soft weightless and light finish. Also with its high SPF and PA level, it completely guards the skin against UVA, UVB without leaving any greasiness or white cast. Key ingredients: •Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil (aka Sea Buckthorn Oil), in Korean cosmetic, the ingredient is listed as 'Vitamin Tree Oil' and it helps to supply the skin with moisture. •Tocopherol is an antioxidant that fights against free radicals found in the skin. Panthenol, beta-glucan, and allantoin soothes, relieves skin irritations. •Niacinamide is a skin brightening agent and helps to brighten the overall skin tone. My review: Let me start saying that the texture is LIGHTWEIGHT and its a watery-gel feeling since it’s water based, which I really really love since I have oily skin I don’t like heavy sunscreens! I use this everyday before makeup & it oaks into my skin looks very soft and doesn’t leave any residue, white cast or cause any irritation to my skin or eyes, you feel very refreshed and hydrated but not oily, just the right amount of moisture. Very good for sensitive skin aswell since it’s very light and have such great ingredients. I got this months ago and I still have a lot left so as you can see a little goes a LONG way, another thing that I love about it it’s that it’s SPF 50 which most of the sunscreens are 30 so I love that it has more coverage for UV rays. ALSO a PLUS, it has niacinamide wich such a GREAT ingredient for brighting that skin tone. Definitely recommend such a great lightweight everyday sunscreen. 10/10.
