I’ve Been Using this Lipstick for 10+ Years! 💄
I’m all for red lipstick every once in a while. But finding one that has hold power still brings out that fiery red lip color is a challenge. My mom was a FAN of this classic Revlon lipstick. REVLON - Super Lustrous Lipstick I always called it the Christian Louboutin of red lipsticks because the shade is so similar to the red sole. While this is a lipstick, the formula is creamy and rich. It has hydrating power, so your lips don’t look brittle and dry. It also has a long-lasting hold that can make eating and having drinks. Maybe even the occasional kiss. 😉 HOWEVER, because it isn’t a tint or a crayon, it won’t hold as long as other formulas. My truck? Finish the application with a bit of loose powder and bloat the excess on a piece of paper. This helps my lipstick stay on for hours. I’d say you have to retouch this lipstick about every 3-5 hours. Not bad, considering the formula glides like chapstick!

Tips to Get the Most of Curology 🔥 🌟
Thanks for my goodies @curology! So happy to be a part of the #Curologyambassador family! 💗 Curology doesn’t work 100% of the time for everyone. As you know, skin issues are much more than skin deep. If you have a hormonal imbalance, topicals aren’t going to be the best for you. But they can still help with texture and hyperpigmentation. My tip: Many users can tolerate Curology every night. BUT if you’re new to any of its ingredients (like tretinoin), you might want to start slow. So you might find one to begin once a week for two weeks. Then, twice a week. Move up to three times a week. And then try it 4-5 times a week. First two week: Use twice a week (M/F) Third-four week: Use three times a week (M/W/F) After first month: Use four or five times a week (M/W/F/S) HOWEVER, this timeline only works if your skin is tolerating it. How do you know it is? We’ll make sure you DO NOT have any of these: Sudden dryness Redness Irritation Even if you can tolerate 4-5 times a week, I recommend you give your skin a day or two to relax and use those days for masks and moisturizers instead. 🌟 PD: I’m linking to my Curology page (I don’t get any commissions) for anyone who wants to try two months for FREE! #curologyambassador
BEST Toner for Acne! 🔥 💕
I’ve tried countless toners for acne in the past. But this one is the only one that feels almost like a treatment to me. AHA and BHA exfoliants help limit blackhead formation, clear clogged pores and lift away discoloration. The addition of a soothing, prebiotic sugar helps balance the skin’s microbiome, encouraging a healthy ecosystem where “bad” bacteria won’t thrive. Key ingredients that make it amazing: Raspberry fruit extract to reduce oiliness. Lactic acid that provides a gentle exfoliation to break down dead cells that can lead to breakouts. Betaine salicylate that lifts discoloration from blemish scarring. Other ways to use this toner: Back and body acne - discourages the appearance of blemishes and lifts away discoloration from scars. Ear care - apply to toning cloth or cotton pad and wipe the entire ear area to promote a smoother texture. Ingrown facial hairs - helps to reduce blocked hair follicles that lead to infection and discoloration. How I like to use it: Mornings: I prefer to apply it using a cotton pad to gently use exfoliate and lift leftover cleanser. Nights: In the evening I use it with my palms instead of a cotton pad to have sort of like an exfoliating treatment before my serums. RENÉE ROULEAU - Rapid Response Detox Toner

Empty Jar of the Month! 💫
I always do my best to finish ALL my skincare products. With this winter (even in FL), this moisturizer was my savior! 🤩 DR. ZENOVOIA - Peptide + Ceramide Repairing Moisturizer These are the two holy grail ingredients for me: Bio-Equivalent Ceramides – Helps reinforce skin’s barrier while dramatically increasing hydration levels. Complex – Helps firm and tone skin by helping to support collagen production and boost elasticity. It has other things like bakuchiol and hyaluronic acid that help with plumpness, fine lines, and aging. But really, it’s the moisture power that makes this moisturizer worth it. And yes, for $79 I consider this more of a dry skin treatment than a moisturizer, which is why I think it’s worth it. It also reminded me of La Mer’s The Creme moisturizer which I’ve tried in the past but retails for over $200 🤣 so I guess you could consider this a dupe? 🤷♀️

I really wanted to love this...BUT 😩🔥
This is probably the THIRD time I’ve received this product to sample. I even took their 7-day challenge that promises brighter skin. I can’t figure out why it’s a best-seller, and SO MANY people love it. On paper, it has all the things you want like vitamin C, banana extract for brightening, and hyaluronic acid. 🍊 BUT This product has SEVEN!! SEVEN different ingredients that their sole purpose is for fragrance! 😳 This is why so many people find it irritating and even feel burning sensations when using it. Sensitive skin types SHOULD NOT deal with so many fragrances, most coming from essential oils and acids anyway. However, if you have this product sitting at home, don’t ditch it. I’ve found it quite helpful for my body. So I use it to help with my back acne and even on my hands as a brightened. 😉 If anything, try to give it to someone who might like it or have skin best suited for it.

Skin Ups and Downs!🎢
When you’re dealing with hormonal acne it feels like no matter what you do, you don’t have control of your skin. Of course I want to post an amazing glow up selfie after months of treatment. Yes, I’ve seen a dermatologist. Yes, I regularly see an aesthetician. Yes, I care for my skin. Yes, I wear sunscreen. ... STILL my skin breaks out. Why? Because life is messy. For example, this month I had my mom in the hospital while moving to a different city at the same time! So, of course, my skin wasn’t my top priority even though my routine was the I my thing keeping me sane. So, as I’m trying to practice more skin positivity this year. I remind myself that skin changes and also has its ups and downs. I’m doing my best to know when to hold back on my actives and let my skin chill for a week or so to repair. I also know when to bring in the big guns if that will help my mental health and anxiety about my skin. It’s all an act of balance.
