Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray!
I've been skeptical of the URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray Duo for so long and I gave in to getting it finally! What I like: My makeup doesn't move at all - I have oily / dry combo skin, so this stuff really works It's a heavy duty spray without feeling heavy duty - it's light on the skin and doesn't feel like you sprayed hairspray all over I thought it would maybe make me oily or combine with my makeup weird, but it didn't. I mean when it's wet and in the process of drying I thought it would do weird stuff but it didn't. I don't have to respray a lot or really spray a lot to begin with. It's nice because it gets the job done What I don't like / wish could change: It smells like glue Why does it take so long to dry? I mean I'm ok with fanning myself but what if I need to run out the door? Ya know? Overall, a holy grail product and one that I'll definitely repurchase and I understand now why so many people use it in their makeup routines! :)
MASCARA problems 😪
Hi guys !! Today I’m gonna make a review of my favourite affordable brand (essence) but I’m kinda disappointed because as you guys can see I used the essence - I Love Extreme Curl And Volume Mascara and after minutes (even after spray my miracle URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray Duo ) the lashes stain my face, you guys can see points just below my lower lashes :( However it’s because this formula is not water proof so I’m not gonna blame essence but I chose the wrong formula for lower lashes, it must be water proof to avoid this! And another thing, wet n wild - MegaGlo Highlighting Powder amazing glow in sunlight and the blush that I used was FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush color fuego If you guys have another suggestion please comment :)))) Thank you so much 😊 Xoxo 😘 💋
🧖♀️ How to Save Time: Hybrid Skincare Makeup
There are many days when I wake up and feel how much I want to shorten my make up and skincare routine so I can snooze for another 5-10 mins. One of the easiest ways to do that is to use hybrid skincare-make up products. Here are some of my suggestions below: NARS - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer This tinted moisturizer kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Amazing light coverage and SPF 30! It’s great to even out skin tone and protect the skin. Bonus: it’s non-comedogenic perfect for combination/oily/dry skin types. It’s very thin so it needs to be shaken before application but when you apply it, it feels like second skin. HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 Mentioned this in another review before. Great primer and non-comedogenic with SPF 15. A great underlying base and some sun protection to add on before your tinted moisturizer. laura mercier - Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Oil Free This is an oldie but goodie product that’s also non-comedogenic because it’s oil free. It’s only SPF 20, for $46.00 for a 1.7 oz. whereas, NARS tinted moisturizer is SPF 30, costs $45.00 for 1.9 oz. I find the laura mercier tinted moisturizer to have too thick a base. Because of that it’s more difficult to wear on humid days. They also make a different version that I haven’t tried because it’s not oil free. laura mercier - Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF30 it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer is a wonderful hybrid concealer. It has anti-aging properties that fight under eye wrinkles due to yum ingredients like peptides, vitamins, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and collagen. Perricone MD - No Makeup Blush The packaging is small and is $35 for a lil’ bottle but a little goes a long way. It’s vegan, cruelty free and even gluten free. Some ingredients that make it a hybrid is that it has vitamin c ester and ginger extract. If you’re using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% do not use them together. Sadly the No Makeup Blush contains mineral oil and this isn’t good for oily types since it can cause your pores to become blocked. I returned it. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Organic Wear Sculpting Bronzer it’s a matte bronzer that’s buildable and only $6.99 on Amazon. It only comes in 2 shades but they both work for my light/medium golden undertones. They look and feel more like contour sticks though. The drugstore powerhouse brand loaded the product with antioxidants and contains: jojoba oil, indian senna seed, and aloe vera. Just warm with your hands to apply and blend with fingertips. Hope this helps you save time, catch more z’s and free up your busy day. Enjoy 🧖♀️
Only 1 product that can illuminate your skin immediately✨
I know a lot of girls are looking for ways to illuminate your complexion. Except base makeup, the most important thing is highlighter. Just choose the right one and apply it in the right place, and you can get glowingskin in a second! This is my recent makeup look. I wanted to make a summer glow makeup at first, but finally it became fox eye makeup. It is also a little bit smoky makeup. Products I use: Base makeup: VALMONT - Elixir Teint Précieux Foundationit Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer(highly recommended) Eyebrows: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade Eyeshadow: NYX - Ultimate Shadow Palette Highlights: MAC - Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter#fDouble gleam Honestly this is my current favorite highlighter! You can tell from the pic that the most essential part of this makeup is the highlighter. It will illuminate complexion immediately and make your skin glow! Girls with fair or medium skin tone can use this one. Usage: You can spray water with a brush or just use your hands. Lipstick: MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick#persistence

Accurate 1920s Colours for Fall/Winter
This is a scale of colours that I’ve curated through research of the 1920s. The shades are exact colour matches of real 1920s makeup colours. Lipstick: RUSSIAN Red by MAC. Blush: Apple Red by MAC Eyeshadows: Clear Vaseline by Aquaphor, Dark Green (Aja) and Dark Blue (Yejide) by Juvia’s Place (The Magic Mini Palette) Light Green (marsh) by Lime Crime (Venus 2) 1920s is the first tine in modern history that makeup was becoming more accepted - the mouth was shaped round and small with dark raspberry and purpley brown lipstick. Eyeshadows were applied mostly for evening wear, some Vaseline on the eyes was unite common for day wear. Eye shadow was smoked out very thin around the eye in grey, blue and green - with pin thin curved eyebrows that reached all the way out to the hairline. Blush was sold in plum and raspberry shades most often available in paste or powder formulas.
My favourite MAC lipsticks! 😍
Hey everyone! Who doesn’t love a good staple Mac lipstick? MAC lipsticks are known worldwide and have been a popular choice among many makeup enthusiasts and makeup artists for years now- so I thought I would talk about my favourite lip colours in the collection. I have 18 altogether, but I am talking about my favourite 6 shades. All lipsticks have different formulas and wearing power- my preferable formula being matte. They also have a retro matte formula, a satin, amplified, amplified creme, creme sheen, lustre and frost. It depends on your personal preference if you like more sheer, opaque or glossy formulas so I’m glad they offer this option. MAC lipsticks in NZ used to be $40 which quite pricey, especially for an artist wanting to fill up their makeup kitthey have dropped their price $5 cheaper, down to $35 which seems a little bit more affordable. I get mine from Farmers which is a retail store in NZ, but you can also buy them from any MAC store, Smith & Caugheys or Mecca Maxima/Mecca Cosmetica. My most recent purchase and probably my most favourite would be the new love me lipstick in the shade shamelessly vain. I’m wearing it in the last pic attached. I saw a post on Insta with models wearing the shade for a makeup shoot and I was obsessed! I had to buy it. It’s a beautiful orangey red shade that is super pigmented and would suit all skin tones. I think it looks amazing when I wear a fake tan! The next lipstick is brave. It used to be my favourite back in the day, it’s the one I wore in all my old YouTube videos! When the whole Kylie Jenner dark nude lips when around, this is when I brought this shade! It’s a satin formula. The next colour is Candy yum yum which is a matte formula! It’s super bright and daring, perfect for a night out or if you want to feel extra glam. I think this looks amazing with blonde hair- you’ll literally feel like a barbie 🙊 The next colour is lady danger which is quite a popular colour in the whole MAC lipstick collection. It’s similar to shamelessly vain but is more of a true red and has no orange undertones to it. It’s the perfect bright pin up red lipstick and is a matte formula. The next colour is Diva which is a matte formula- you can start to see the trend in me loving matte finishes! I find it lasts longer and doesn’t slide around as easily. I don’t find them too drying either, and it’s perfect to add a gloss on top of. This dark vampy colour is the perfect winter/autumn colour and I always used to get compliments when I wear a dark red/purple. The last colour is the perfect light nude shade! It is called blankety which is an amplified formula. This suits any thing you wear & looks great with a slightly darker lip liner. Who doesn’t want a staple nude in their collection?! That was the end of my MAC lipstick review! Let me know what shade you like the look of the most and let me know your current favourite shades in the comments! 😍❤️ MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick MAC - Amplified Lipstick MAC - MAC Satin Lipstick

love the skin you’re in
As you can see, my base isn’t flawless. Even though I’m undergoing treatments to minimize my pores, control my sebum, and clear up my acne, I’m also trying to love my skin the way it is because it’s never going to be perfect. And even though I criticize myself and nitpick at every little flaw on my face, most of the time other people don’t notice those little flaws. So if you’re into self-love and appreciating your natural beauty, this is a post for you! I do appreciate concealer and foundation, but I’m someone who doesn’t really like covering my entire face with makeup. My goal is to enhance my looks, rather than cover everything up. I’ve found that Bobbi Brown is a huge proponent of this idea, which is why her products work so well for me. So in this picture, I don’t have any concealer or foundation on, just a mix of eyeshadow, bronzer, blush, mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick. BOBBI BROWN - BOBBI BROWN Bronzing Powder I use this both on my lids as an eyeshadow and as a second layer of bronzer. It’s more of a matte color rather than a shimmery color, which is why I use something else on top for a shimmer. BOBBI BROWN - Bobbi Brown Blush For a pop of color on my cheeks BOBBI BROWN - Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Nothing fancy, I just fill in my lash line with this. BOBBI BROWN - Eyeshadow This is an eyeshadow but I use a dark brown color for my eyebrows. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer A shimmery bronzer that gives extra glow for me. DIOR - Addict Lacquer Stick A simple lipstick that goes on creamy and gives my lips a slightly enhanced natural color. L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara I switch up my mascaras once in a while but I like this one a lot. The key to this look, I would say, is trying your best to care for your skin and for yourself. You don’t need it to look perfect and flawless, just give your body and face a little TLC. As long as you take care of your skin as best as you can, I think you can learn to love your skin as it is, with flaws or without.
Some old, some new favorites 🌈
New: I’ve been trying out the Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum and I LOVE it! My skin is soooo soft and smooth afterwards. The Milk MAKEUP - Glow Oil Lip + Cheek delivers a subtle, glowy color to your cheeks and lips and blends pretty well. The only thing is that it stains my sponges so that’s a bummer. Recently picked up the FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherrybut I haven’t tried it yet, trying to get through my other eye cream before I open this baby. Old faves: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer my go to moisturizer for oily, acne prone skin. I’ve bought soooo many over the years! PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer is my favorite bronzer, I think ever? It’s just so blendable, buildable and the perfect bronze for my skin tone.

👩💻WORK FROM HOME 🏡 BUT U STILL LATE ⏰
Hello ma cherie. I’ve missed you all! 🤪 I’m an office gal working from home in this pandemic. Most of my hours spent at work requires me to be in a zoom meeting at some point throughout the day. Just because I don’t have to physically be at the office doesn’t mean I stopped being a little late. 😏 Frazzled but do not fret. Everyone has their own zoom make up routine and I see you beautiful ladies! 👀 This here is my go to look. I did note down options here with foundation. I only put foundation on when I have blemishes to cover but if I’m good, I just skip it. Updated Foundation Collection 🌟
Yes I have a problem lol I just love trying new face formulas. My favorite here is still the Touch In Sol Advanced Real Moisture Foundation in shade 21. It’s the most skin-like of all of them so far and has great durability. It’s also one of the cheaper ones at only $18 on amazon 😀 I do like the way the ILIA serum lays down, but my god does it have a strong paint smell 😑 once it goes away it’s fine, but the first few minutes are rather rough as I’m sensitive to bad smells. Ah, the things we do for beauty 🤷♀️ Happy Sunday! 🍁 Don’t forget to hydrate and check your WiFi 😘
My Morning Routine to Conquer the Day!
Having a good morning can often make or break your entire day. There are a few steps I always take every day to try and set myself up for success. For me, it’s especially important to have a morning routine when working from home— this is because getting ready and prepped is as much as a physical transformation as it is for my mindset. I always wake up, and brush my teeth first thing with something that’s good for me and my teeth. I love Davids - Peppermint Toothpaste along with Tom's OF MAINE - Simply White Fluoride Toothpaste Clean Mint who are both eco-friendly and pack their toothpastes full of natural whitening and enamel strengthening ingredients. The SLS and other dermatitis inducing ingredients in all toothpastes can make you break out, so I always follow brushing with a gentle cleanser like Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser or fresh - Soy Face Cleanser Limited Edition to remove it without stripping my skin. I’ll tone and then roll on my favorite facial oil or lightweight moisturizer (YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream is great for the daytime!) with an iced jade roller like this oneNEIBOURHOOD BOTANICALS - Jade Roller Gua Sha Facial Massage You can use ice, but this is nice to help de puff eyes as well and give a quick wake up. While letting my oil sink in, I’ll put on a pot of tea that caters to my skin (spearmint and green tea) to drink in lieu of coffee which gives me anxiety, and do my morning stretching and meditation while it boils. When I’m done stretching, I’ll add the hot water to my teabag and let it brew. While it’s brewing I’ll add a multitasking SPF to protect and make my skin glow without makeup, with something like COOLA - Classic Full Spectrum 360 Sun Silk Drops SPF 30 or a tinted moisturizer like it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ to even out my skin tone and make me look more awake, while protecting me from sun damage. If I have zoom meetings or errands, I’ll put on quick makeup. If not, a hydrating lip mask it is. Something like BITE - Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask lasts for hours and makes my lips feel super hydrated and nourished, while looking soft and supple. I’ll then light a candle with an invigorating scent like lemon or eucalyptus and drink my tea to center and calm myself to be ready for whatever my day may throw at me! Because I’ve already taken care of my personal care necessities, I feel more bada$$ already. I hope you enjoyed this post. What does your morning routine look like? ✨
CHARLOTTE TILBURY FLAWLESS FINISH POWDER
Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder in Fair & Medium My go-to’s for flawles, photo/video-ready skin! It blurs out all imperfections and looks amazing in person too! This is my second Medium shade (which I use more when I’m tanner) and I’ve already hit pan! I also just hit pan on the Fair shade (which is best when I’m pale)! This is proof of how much I love these powders- the end result is just smooth, flawless skin! It helps to mattify my skin as well. The only downside is that there are only three shades and I already use Medium when I’m tan. I’m nowhere near an actual “Medium shade” so I wish the shade range was more extentsive. If one of the three shades works for your skin tone, I highly recommend it!✨

Brand spotlight:Laura Mercier
I am a royal fan of Laura Mercier. The brand is famous for its “flawless face”. My friend recommended this brand to me few years ago and brought a foundation for me from Malaysia. Iwas impressed by its coverage ability. This brand has skin-enhancing foundations, buildableconcealers and finishing loose set powders. I have tried some of the brand products and would like to introduce my fav and least fav products. [Brand: Laura Mercier] My favorite:Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation Size: 30MLColor: 1N1Price: 77 AUD I have tried several types of foundation over the years from NARS to Make up for ever, from light to full coverage. This foundation is the best I have ever used. It provides all-day buildable coverage with minimal product but never looks “cakey”. It is easy to apply even with my finger and looks natural on my skin. It has a matter finish and control my T zone where I get shiny easily. I recommend mixing the foundation with primer to make application smoother and imperfections can be perfectly minimized. I have finished two bottles of this. My face feels light and breathable after using it. It really makes my face very luminous and natural with color 1N1. My least favorite product:Laura Mercier secret concealer Size: 2.2gColor: 1Price: 45 AUD This product provides good coverage for a whole day. Normally I used it with my finger and the product, and it can melt smoothly on my face. It can cover my imperfections and blemishes perfectly while it also matching my skin. The color I chose can naturally cover my dark circle. It brightens my under-eyes area. Although this product applies creamy, it is still too dry for myeye. It results into cracks after applying. I recommend using it with Laura mercer translucent loose setting powder, avoiding the cracking and drying look.

My go-to everyday makeup-only Colourpop products
Today I want to share my go-to makeup that I usually do when I only need to go outside for class or shopping. And I am going to do this look using only Colourpop products. I think you can use anything you like and this is really easy to create. This look is like a cute and dewy makeup that emphasizes blush and glowy lips. Besides, I only use the Rocket Volume waterproof mascaras from Maybelline in recent years, so I will still use this one in this look. After sunscreen, I apply the No filter stix foundation-Fair 25w on my face and do double layers on dark circles, and then blend it with a beauty blender. This color is for fair skin with yellow undertones, and the coverage is pretty good but not thick or dry. Since it costs only $10, I really love it. Then I am going to apply the blush. I am using a blush stick called Pretty Thing, which is a dusty raspberry color. I will use the beauty blender to get the product and then apply on my face, in case I destroy my foundation. It is quite sheer, so I will apply for several layers on my cheeks and nose. The next step is bronzer, highlighter and eyeshadow. I use the Pressed Powder Bronzer-Privite Party and Pressed Powder Highlighter-Here Kitty Kitty. These powders are really blendable and only $7 each for a lot products. For my eyes, I will apply the bronzer in my crease and my outer corners, also underneath my eyes, then using highlighter in my inner corners and eyelids. The last step is applying lips. I use the Just a Tint lip crayon named Cherry Pickin, which is a sheer honey nude lipstick for $8. It is comfy, hydrating, and smells like candy. I will also use it as a lip balm sometimes. The whole look will cost only 10 mins and $40, which is really natural and affordable. I hope you enjoy it! COLOURPOP - No Filter Foundation Stix

Rainbow highlighter 🌈 💚💙
I am a highlighter collector. One of my dream is to collect all colors of highlight. Lol. I've bought pink highlighter palettes of CPB, purple highlighter sticks and pink highlighter palettes of Fenty beauy before. Today, I want to compare two Japanese brands, Shiseido and Illamasqua. Shiseido was bought on Nordstrom's official website, and Illamasqua was bought from Amazon. I have run out of one Shiseido, the color called pk107. This is my second pk107. It should be one of my favorite highlighter. I always wear then under my eyes and on my chin. You can find the blue light under the sun and it has a puffy effect. The blue light can make me look young. It contains a highlighter brush, which is very soft. You don’t need to buy any other brush. SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Color For Illamasqua,I only used twice. The color is very special green, not too daily and is hard to match. Unless my friends hold a “green party”, all girls decorate themselves as Christmas tree, ok, I can think about this highlighter. ILLAMASQUA - Beyond Powder Highlighter

LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION
Ok guys. I wanted to hate this foundation, I really did. I bought the travel size because I NEVER finish foundations, and even the travel size is a whopping $42. It’s a rip off! But the finish is just so, so good. My skin looks radiant and even without too much coverage. It’s very buildable, too. ARMANI beauty - Luminous Silk Foundation

Worth the money?? 👀
I’ve seen tons and tons of reviews on this product and this price point $65!! I’m allowed to have insanely high expectations. This isn’t advertised as a mattifying product, it does claim to control oils in your T zone. It didn’t do that at all... I followed my regular makeup routine and used Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder instead of my regular MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder And I was pretty disappointed. I was an oily mess about 4 hours in ☹️ Texture wise, it’s finally milled and the packaging is obviously gorgeous. Mine is in the shade medium. It didn’t add any coverage and I used a fluffy brush to set over my T zone and under eye. To be fair, I did try this on one of the hottest days of summer. I’ll continue using this product and update this review if anything changes! As of now, I feel there’s tons of better options out there for much much less 😬
