Naturally beautiful 🌺
I was kindly gifted some products from Caley Cosmetics to try a while back, Caley offers clean beauty products that are also cruelty-free (Leaping Bunny certified!). My favorite product from them is the CALEY COSMETICS - BEACHY KISS NATURAL LIP GLOSS WITH PROBIOTICS
$27 lip oil vs $16 💋💦
Listen, I really really like the Kosas - Wet Lip Oil Gloss but, I think it is super pricey for what it is. The packaging is gorgeous, the product is really nice, I personally really like the scent, but $27 for 4.2 grams is 😬 But I think I found something super similar and at a more reasonable price point. The CALEY COSMETICS - BEACHY KISS NATURAL LIP GLOSS WITH PROBIOTICS is such a nice product and I think it’s a pretty good dupe for the Kosas lip oil in formula, texture, wear and look. They both have a similar ingredient list with ingredients like castor seed oil, sunflower seed oil, rice bran extract and the Caley lip oil (gloss) is also formulated with probiotics to help strengthen the skin’s natural barrier which is amazing! I’m wearing the Kosas lip oil in shade jellyfish on my top lip and Caley lip gloss in the shade mango mojito on my bottom lip, literally indistinguishable. Only thing that sucks (for me) it’s the applicator, it’s so small on both products, you need to go in like three times to get good application. The Caley lip oil is $16 for 9 grams which is definitely a lot more worth it in my opinion 😋
Model off-duty look ✨ #CheriePartner
Have you ever wondered how do models look so good on AND off the runway? My research tells me the key to that off duty, “I didn’t even try” look is achievable by following these easy steps and keeping it simple 🙌 Let’s start with skin. Models seem to have flawless skin, to achieve that perfected look we just need a glowy base and an even skin tone. For this look I skipped foundation altogether and opted for concealer only, I went in with the DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer this creamy concealer gives full coverage but a natural finish that is never cakey. I used it to spot conceal and to cover my under-eyes circles. Next is brows, models keep they’re brows defined but feathery. I used Lime Crime - Bushy Brow Precision Pen & ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Gel I recommend just following the natural shape of you brow and not overdoing it. I used the essence - Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder to give my cheeks and jaw some definition, and on my eyes as well. Essence makes beautiful powder products, in my opinion. This formula is buttery soft and blends beautifully. I personally prefer products that can be built up since they’re more forgiving, rather than having something super pigmented upon first application because I’ve been guilty of going overboard. It has a coconut-y scent but it’s very faint, tho I’d steer clear if you’re sensitive to fragrance. You can find this for $4.99 at Ulta! For blush I went in with the essence - Satin Touch Blush in ‘Satin Coral’ for a subtle touch of color and essence - Pure Nude Highlighter which is probably my favorite powder highlighter ever. Since I used all powders for my makeup today I decided to give the e.l.f. - Elf+ Glow Dewy Mist a try! I picked this up recently and wow, I’m actually very impressed with the mist itself but the packaging is not the best ☹️ the nozzle just kind of spits out the mist and leaves big droplets on the skin which could potentially ruin all your work. BUT, let’s talk about the product inside because I think it’s really good! This mist is formulated with coconut water, hyaluronic acid and argan oil as key ingredients, all amazing ingredients for hydrated, dewy skin. It’s kinda milky in texture and feels very refreshing, helps powders melt beautifully on skin but I wish it was more of a fine mist. Lastly, for lips I went in with the CALEY COSMETICS - Beach Babe Natural Lips in ‘Nude’ which is very close to my natural lip shade, added some Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in Cherry since it has a subtle red tint and I think a subtle lip is key here. I topped it all off with the Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss in Red. Love this gloss, it isn’t goopy or heavy, and the shine lasts long. And that’s it! Lmk if you have any tricks to looking effortless below!
This lip oil is hot AF 😻🔥
I absolutely love this lip oil! I am pretty picky when it comes to lip products, I don’t often wear anything besides lip balm because I hate the feeling of anything on my lips. This lip oil is so glossy and is not sticky at all, and smells amazing/DELICIOUS! They have a cherry and a berry flavor, and I chose the berry one. It leaves a slight purple/pink tint on my lips which works really well with my natural lip color. It is so glossy and lasts for hours! The packaging is also super cute and trendy! I definitely recommend this adorable lip oil.

Skincare Powered Makeup! 💄
here are two new Ilia products that I got recently and have been loving 🥰 I got this tinted lip oil as a free sample from Sephora! It’s similar to your typical gloss but not as *glossy*. It feels quite hydrating as it’s a tinted lip oil packed with plumping hyaluronic acid and major moisturizing properties that leaves your lips soft and smooth! *I think I’m going to try it as a blush and keep you guys posted hehe I love the packaging for the color haze pigment! You only need a little bit if you’re going for a light blush but need a bit more if you want a thicker, more blendable blush. It’s very similar to Cloud Paint but this is the *clean* alternative 🌱 and it smells really good! Almost like candy 🍭 *ill upload a photo with the pigment as a blush and eyeshadow here soon! Colourpop Velvet LUX vs Ultra Blotted Lip
COLOURPOP - Lux Velvet Liquid Lipstick Collection I currently own the colors Puddin’ (burnt red orange) and Room Service (warm terra-cotta) and I’m loving them both as wearable everyday lip colors for warm undertones! The formula is mousse-y which I love, is not drying, feels like I’m wearing a balm when I press my lips together but doesn’t not transfer. The formula doesn’t last forever like a traditional liquid lip but stays on longer than other velvet lip formulas I’ve used. I am able to add many layers without any problems at all! COLOURPOP - Ultra Matte Lip I’ve heard great things about the blotted lip and the formula indeed creates an “ombré” look on the lip. The formula dries much quicker than the LUX and does not transfer. Unlike the Velvet LUX, it’s not as comfortable rubbing my lips together. I do love the color I got (sleepy eyes), as it is one of the few rose nudes that work well on my warm undertone! However, I am not loving the fact that if I add two layers for a bolder look, the formula will pill on top of each other and looks streaky. I’d say the blotted lip is more of a lip stain, serving as a one layer wonder. Cheers to 💄

Favorite V-Day lip combo swatches
Today I’m rocking a combination of BITE Beauty “cayenne” (discontinued, from Amuse Bouche line) and Becca Cosmetics glow gloss in “ruby fire”. The end result is so gorgeous! “Cayenne” is a spicy, bright blue-based red, whole “ruby fire” has a deeper crimson base with shimmer, although is sheer. I feel so bold and fierce in this combo! Both formulas are very comfortable on the lips. On its own, “cayenne” lasts several hours and “ruby fire” fades down after a few hours. Prices and availability: “Cayenne” is no longer available for purchase. Mine came in a mini holiday set 2 years ago. “Ruby fire” is available through Becca’s and Beautylish’s websites for $22, but I suggesr checking your local TJ Maxx and Marshall’s because that’s where I found mine for under $10!

Bold lips to feel like a nine-tailed fox 🔥🦊
I love fun eyeshadow looks, but sometimes you just need a bold lip color. My go-to shade is usually a bright orange-red, like the BITE - Lush Fruit Lip Gloss or wet n wild - MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick except the wet n wild formula isn’t my favorite. It doesn’t last super long, can flake off and doesn’t layer well. I also surprisingly love this OFRA - Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Napa Valley, a dark metallic purple. It actually is a really flattering shade for me! If only I had more events to wear it to. And the Ofra formula is my favorite by far. Long lasting, doesn’t transfer or smudge and layers super well. Plus it’s the most comfortable I’ve come across for sure.
