My top base products ✨
I like my skin to look like skin even when doing full makeup, so I always reach for products that will give me that perfected, flawless base but aren’t heavy or make me feel like I’m wearing a mask. These are my favorite products to achieve just that! e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer

My Favorite Concealers & How I Use Them!!
These concealers are constantly in rotation for me; I love them all and each one has its own unique purpose!! For a drugstore concealer, the REVLON - Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer is a beautiful radiant formula that I use to brighten my under eye area and highlight the high points of my face. (This shade is a tad too light for me (05)) so I usually mix a slightly darker one with it. DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer his is a high coverage, more matte finish concealer. It’s my go to when I need long lasting coverage and a formula that I know won’t settle into my lines! If I’ll be wearing it for longer than 8 hours or so, I’ll prep my under eyes with the #skyn ICELAND - Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels[products]#[FiveStars] or some sort of moisturizer I know looks good underneath makeup! Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer to spot conceal on days I’m only wearing a tinted moisturizer or lighter coverage foundation days. This stuff is a DREAM to blend out, it’s so easy to work with and can be built up a little bit as long as you work in light layers. Neutrogena - New Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealer the shade range on these concealers isn’t the greatest and the undertones lean more pink/peach which is why it’s perfect for color correcting blueish toned under eyes. I typically use this on days where my under eye bags are on a different level 😶 It’s the perfect consistency since it’s more hydrating and therefore layers well underneath other concealers. I like to use the e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer on top of the Neutrogena one since it’s pretty light coverage. The e.l.f. Camo concealer is a medium/full to full coverage formula and it wears so nicely throughout the day. I rarely have issues with it looking creasy or wearing off. I would recommend all of these concealers and love having a variety of formulas and shades to work with!! If you’ve tried any of these concealers, how did they work for you!?
We stan Pietro in this house 🤡💗
Continuing the ACNH series, today I bring you Pietro ❤️ my favorite sheep villager and overall best boy. Products used: ⭐️ Complexion products: •e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer •DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer •essence - All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder ⭐️ For the teardrop, heart & nose: •Transcend Dance from COLOURPOP - In a Trance Shadow Palette •My Milkshake from COLOURPOP - Strawberry shake shadow palette •Daiquiri from the same palette as above. ⭐️ Highlighter (for the tip of the nose): •OFRA - Limited Edition Rodeo Drive Highlighter Ornament ⭐️ Brows: • ohii - Magic Hair Wand ⭐️ Lips: •The now discontinued NYX Whipped Lip & Cheek Soufflé in Molten Love 💋 ⭐️ Lashes: •I just went to my nearest beauty supply and picked the most dramatic lashes I could find! Brand is Cherry Blossom, they’re their 3D SILK LASH, style #003 For this look I did my face makeup as usual, just some light concealing, just powdering with a matte powder. I like to keep my brows sheer and fluffy when doing villager makeup lol 😅 I tried drawing the teardrop and heart on my cheeks freehanded but ya girl is not talented like that, so I decided to do cutouts of both and stick them to my face using washi tape so it’s easy to remove and won’t tug on my skin, then I just filled them in using the shadows I mentioned above from Colourpop. For my nose I used Daiquiri from the Strawberry Shake palette, which is perfect for this since it’s a pigment and you just need the tiniest bit! Then I added some highlighter just on the tip to make it pop 😋 For some reason NYX always discontinues the products I really like, so I can’t tag the exact product I used since you won’t be able to find it but honestly any red lipstick or cream you have will do the trick! Whenever I’m doing extra af makeup I like to wear extra af, dramatic lashes like these 😌 lashes always make the look in my opinion! These from Cherry Blossom are so soft, I wish the band wasn’t as obvious but the more you use them, the easier it is to apply them! And that’s it! Surprisingly, this look didn’t take as long as I thought it would but it is still cute and festive 🤡 Which villager should I do next? I already have some on my list, but I’d love to hear your favorites! 💗 #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

Animal Crossing inspired makeup? YES. 🍃
ACNH has taken over my life, it was only a matter of time until it started ruling EVERYTHING I do, including my makeup 🥴 I’ve been hustling every day trying to earn enough bells to pay my bridges, home loans and keeping my island clean so I can have happy villagers. I even joined an all-girls group chat recently! And this week we decided to do villager-inspired makeup based on whatever villager we picked. I picked Francine, of course. It was the obvious choice, but how did I do? ☺️ I haven’t done makeup like this in a while and it was so fun to get to it again. I wanted to make a look based on what Francine is already wearing since it looks like a lovely, wearable look and I think I did pretty well! 😌 considering my skills aren’t that advanced lol. I left a slide with the products I used, I’ve reviewed a few of these but let me know if you’d like to know my thoughts on something! These are all tried and true products I consider to be 5 ⭐️s!
Getting real for a sec 🙂
Okay, I think we’re all been going through it with all the wild things going on in the world lately and one thing I really neglect when I’m panicking and/or feeling extra anxious is my appearance. I just don’t see the point on taking care of myself (which is a terrible thing but I can’t help it), so I just don’t. Today I decided to dust off my favorite products and make myself not look like a zombie and I have to admit, I feel pretty. It’s been a while since I’ve felt good about myself so this is BIG for me right now. Amongst the things I used today is the ohii - Skin Quench Spray Serum to add a youthful glow to my skin since I used translucent powder because SoCal is getting warm. I love this spray because you can use it as part of your skincare routine or like I use it, to give my skin some dewiness after applying powders. The Chai version (which is my favorite) has watermelon extract which is great for dewy skin. I personally love the fine mist, although I’ve seen people mention the nozzle is not the best but I haven’t had any issues and I already have a backup! This is an amazing product imo and my dehydrated skin just absolutely loves it, 10/10 would recommend 😌

having glamourous fun with the neutrals 🤍
getting back into makeup is such a joy for me. I missed it! Doing a neutral glam to get back into the groove and I really loved it . tourlou 🪐 Face: NARS - Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (really loving it,looks natural I have the shade Gobi) FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick (in shade amber ,practical for contour and just looking less unidimensional) e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer (sooo good ,full coverage, used under the eyes and on the center of the face, the nose and the chin in shade light sand) Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder (really good ,all over the face in shade G11) MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder (used under the eye and for brightening the center of the face ,I use the shade transparent but is honestly just really really light) RIMMEL - Stay Matte Pressed Powder (Excellent to finish the makeup and smooth things over ,also in shade transparent) LUNAR BEAUTY - Moon Prism Blush Palette (my favorite,I can use all the shades and they are so beautiful ) BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer (I love it but it's really shimmery but great for looking like you have seen the sun) Eyes benefit - Goof Proof Brow Deal (It's so good and the shade 4 is perfect for me ) COLOURPOP - Stone Cold Fox Shadow Palette (really awesome neutral palette and a really good deal honestly get thissss) COLOURPOP - BFF Mascara (in the shade brownie points,I love it ,I tried the burgundy one too and it was so so dry so I don't recommend that one or maybe I got a bad one ) PÜR - On Point Eyeliner (on the waterline and a little on the outer corner ,in the shade down the earth ) Lips FENTY BEAUTY - Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color (in shade unbutton ,so comfortable ) LUNAR BEAUTY - Moon Lip Gloss (I LOVE THIS)

Favorite Foundation - UNICORN GLOW
WHAT IT IS? Hydrating foundation PRODUCT TARGET CONCERNS: For those looking for foundation with dewy finish. TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY: More creamy texture. Feels very lightweight. OVERALL THOUGHTS: This is such an amazing drugstore foundation (sold at CVS). I have dry skin and I love light foundations that don’t feel heavy on my skin. This is it!!! It has beautiful dewy finish, doesn’t settle in wrinkles and lines and doesn’t exaggerate dry spots. In its description it says it’s medium to full coverage I would say it’s more light to medium coverage (which I prefer). WHY I LIKE/DISLIKE IT: I love that it contains Hyaluronic Acid, ceramides and collagen. I also love that it’s K-Beauty brand and that it’s available in CVS. I love seeing K-Beauty expanding to more retail drugstores. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? 100% YES!!! Such an amazing foundation!! IS IT WORTH IT? 1 oz/ 30 ml / $14 Little pricier for drugstore but I think it’s definitely worth it.
UNICORN GLOW.-HYDRATING FOUNDATION
Tinted Face Oil is a feather-weight medium coverage foundation and deeply hydrating skin elixir. Three types of mineral pigment are delivered in a base of six active botanical oils to instantly even the appearance of skin tone, minimizes pores, and erases the look of imperfections. Designed to be as easily applied as a daily serum or moisturizer, the breathable silky formula’s oils are quickly absorbed by the skin, leaving behind a perfecting layer of self-adjusting color with a velvety finish - no blending required. The Kosas Tinted Face Oil has people torn and I understand why. It’s a unique oil/serum consistency that definitely takes some getting used to. It works best on normal to dry skin types and the primer that you use underneath can make or break your finish, but overall I really like how dewy and naturally even my skin looks with this foundation. A little goes a very long way so while it is pricey at $42, it will last you for awhile. Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation

milk makeup hydrogrip
the product: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer the rating: 4/5, good for dry skin and makeup lasting, not for levelling skin the ingredients: cannabis seed extract, blue agave extract, prickly pear cactus and aloe the review: i liked the primer and the benefits it touts: hydration and lasting makeup. i wore it as a base to disneyland and my skin was nice all day. the caveat is, i cant use it as my only primer — this doesnt smooth out skin, blur pores, or mattify. it makes your skin a bit tacky for makeup grip, and its effective at that the price: $30 for 1.67 oz. there are some dupes but no perfect replicas

Primer, foundation & concealer for flawless skin
This is the makeup I wore for Valentine’s Day and I love how my skin looked! I primed the high points and dry spots of my face with Glossier Futuredew Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid Then I primed my T-zone with Tatcha’s Silk Canvas TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer Then I mixed Dior’s Face & Body foundation and Armani Maestro for my perfect shade. This Dior foundation is AMAZING but a bit dark for me right now. I’m not a huge fan of the Maestro – it makes my skin look dry. It’s light though so I like to mix it with my dark foundations. I think it would work so well for oily skin! DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation ARMANI beauty - Maestro Fusion Makeup SPF 15 Foundation Last, I concealed my under eyes and spots with NARS soft matte complete concealer. I don’t usually use this on my under eyes but I wanted a more full coverage look. I just made sure to apply a lot of eye cream beforehand! NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer

It gives very minimal, natural, light coverage but it also evens the skin tone beautifully and gives the most beautiful natural looking dewy finish. Perfect for no-makeup makeup look. WHY I LIKE/DISLIKE IT: I love it for the watery consistency, light coverage, and dewy finish. It’s everything I’m looking for in foundation. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? My simple spring ready look ✨
For me a spring look means dewy and bronzed with hints of blush. This is more of sunkissed look, which I achieved using the Nudestix bronzer in the shade bondi bae! The was achieved using the touch in sol essence primer. I love the stuff, it contains cica, it’s so dewy and hydrating and works so well under makeup. I use the nudestix for my eyeshadow and topped it with a Natasha denona shimmer shade. I probably could have added a blush to make this more springy! I’ll do that next time. Another thing is I chose a fun zebra print delicate top and it really uplifted my mood during this quarantine and added to the spring look!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
