Iām baaaaack! After a long hiatus due to health reasons, I finally feel healthy enough to actually do my makeup! Hooray!
I had some fun with the NATASHA DENONA - Eyeshadow Palette 5 in Peak which is such a great palette. I also cheated and used bareMinerals - Gen Nude Eyeshadow Palette in āSoulā in my crease. Both of these shadow palettes are fantastic and very easy to work with/blend. The color payoff is great as well, especially the Natasha Denona shadows. Iāll be posting another look soon with the bareMinerals palette so you can get more of an idea of how gorgeous this collection is, so stay tuned.
Iām still loving Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid because no matter how dull and dry my skin is looking, this serum can bring me back from dead-looking to hydrated and bright.

I have never had such a consistent glow to my skin since starting these! I get complimented daily!
I love these products so much.
The two Youth To The People creams absorb so quickly & donāt leave it feeling like you have all this junk on your face either. My previous moisturizer would always pill up once I went to put anything else on my face & these donāt do that!
The Glossier serum is also extremely light & doesnāt clog pores which is something I was worried about initially. It comes out in this pinkish color but it doesnāt turn your skin any other, it just gives you a dewy look.
& the Youth To The People serum is amazing of course! It literally gives me this glow like no other! A little bit goes a very long way, as with most of their products.
Now I just need to clear up the little bit of texture I have left in my chin! I blame it on the fact that I went out quite a bit the last week (church, grocery shopping, random errands) & of course wore a mask the whole time! Resulting in some maskne š¢
But that is just temporary! As is every blemish!
I definitely recommend trying these products guys!
They are HOLY GRAILS if there ever was one!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM FUTUREDEW
Iād rather get coal than the Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid . Truly the worst product iāve tried this year. Glossier markets it as a hybrid serum, but itās not a serum at all. The recommended application is 1-2 pumps and applied after all your skincare. I think of this product as a makeup replacement. The texture is milky and then as you blend, it turns into an oily sheen.
Hereās what I liked. On no makeup days, this product made me look super dewy and I did like how it looked. I looked a little bit like an oil slick, but I didnāt mind. However, by the next day after application, i was broken out like CRAZY. i had cystic acne spots overnight that took weeks to clear. I tried this product 3 times with the same reaction each time. It immediately got returned after that.
This product is horrible & you should stay far away. Not worth the price or wrecking havoc on your skin. I wouldnāt recommend this product to anyone and thatās why iām giving it 1/5 stars.

A product that I like, but donāt love
Glossier futuredew has been controversial on the skincare instagrams recently, because some people reported breaking out with cystic acne after using it for the first few times. (maybe because of the rosemary extract ingredient). However, I havenāt had any issues since I started using it, but I will say itās not my favorite product in the world. Itās marketed as the last step of your skincare (like an oil) but I still canāt tell if you use it before or after your sunscreen. For that reason, Iāve been using it mostly in the evenings so that I donāt have to worry about the sunscreen step, and for that purpose, I actually really like it! It does make you look like a glazed donut, but since my skin isnāt oily, it doesnāt look overly done. It slightly fades over time but I donāt use a highlighter when I use this product, so I think itās pretty cool. Overall, given that Glossier has a great return policy and itās a great value for money, I would recommend trying this out to see if you personally like it, and donāt be afraid to return it if it doesnāt work for you.

š¦ It is a water-based formula so the texture us very light and dewy. It isnāt tacky, sticky, or greasy. It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly and doesnāt really leave any residue for the most part.

Iāve actually been loving the results Iām seeing from using this serum! Itās lightweight and super gentle, while also getting the job done!
I would definitely recommend this serum to anyone thatās craving some extra hydration but needs something on the gentle side.
Itās also great for the price! You get 1 oz of serum for only $6!!! I usually use about 3 drops of serum every morning and night, and Iāve barely made a dent in this bottle!

This serum is vegan, cruelty-free, and made for all skin types! Itās such a great serum for the price and it actually works so well for my skin! I like knowing that when I run out of this one, I can actually afford to repurchase it!
Glazed donut heaven
If you want to look juicy as can be! This is the product for you. Itās the most amazing dewy product ever. Itās advertised as a final skincare step, but I use this as a makeup step. I really love how it looks under makeup. The packaging is amazing too and it comes in a pump. The only reason why this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is formulated with rosemary oil which can be an irritant for sensitive skin types. Would really love seeing it formulated with something else. But, Iām glad it still works for me!

I have a love/hate relationship with Future Dew.
If you are planning to buy it, know that it has the consistency of a thicker oil. It has not the property of a serum. Itās more of a makeup product.
While it does give a beautiful glow, If I wear it several days in the row, my skin starts to breakout š
So I apply Future Dew once a week only.

Futuredew: Worth the Hype?
As someone with dull skin, Iām always looking for something to amp up the glow. Thatās why I was so intrigued by Futuredew, Glossierās latest launch. This oil serum is designed to improve brightness and impart a dewy glow on the skin, all while moisturizing and priming the skin.
The consistency is pretty thick, which scares my acne-prone skin, so Iāve been using Futuredew more as a primer than a skincare step by only applying it to my high points pre-makeup.
The glow is real, I canāt deny, but I feel like itās not an essential product. Definitely give it a try if you want to achieve that dewy-glazed donut glow!
