Yesterday’s Make-up Was a Whole Mood 💄 | Cherie
Product Mentioned
I’m a makeup addict as well!
Yes, it’s true! I love makeup probably just as much as I love skincare. I just don’t talk about it as often. It used to be quite the opposite. I’d gab on and on with my girlfriends about the newest “must have” makeup & we’d swap with one another what didn’t work for us. Then I had a realization in my mid 30’s about how important it is to care for your skin not only to keep it healthy, but also caring for it allows your makeup to do it’s job. To look flawlesss, effortless. I don’t use makeup right now because of covid. I’m pretty much a homebody. & I’m actually quite worried some things will go bad or expire before I personally get back to a normal social life. 🙈 A quick rundown on what’s pictured: HOURGLASS - Arch Brow Shaping Gel one of the best brow gels I’ve ever used! Slight holding power & has great coverage and color. TOM FORD - TOM FORD Eye Quad not as pigmented as I’d expected. Have to apply several passes to get the look I want ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil best brow pencil EVER! Only down fall is the spoolie breaks every single time. But I’ve tried so many pencils & can’t do my brows without this! FENTY BEAUTY - Brow Mvp Sculpting Wax Pencil & Styler not what I hoped. Wax does not hold well & it’s impossible to work with any other product after applied BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder I’ll never use another. Never cakey. Just the lightest, brightest touch TOM FORD - Emotionproof Eye Color love these and hope to pick up more. So easy to work with laura mercier - Secret ConcealerI haven’t used much but did a spot test with this & blended and covered well. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara I’ve had better. 😂 I get thick, full lashes but sometimes clumpy looking. I have to apply carefully. I’d still prefer my drugstore brands any day over this, though. LAWLESS - Forget the Filler Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss just got this & it’s an amazing gloss. Can’t say it plumped my lips as I hoped. Too Faced has a better plumping one but this is by far a better gloss. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Freeze Styling Wax probably one of the best discoveries I’ve recently made. I have very thin brows & am always on the hunt for brow products to help (hence why there are four products here 😂) but this baby has grip! It’s not waxy or sticky either. Just the tiniest amount works. I’ll come back with a review and video to show. I’ll start to bring you more reviews on the makeup products I own as well. Add a little breath of change around here. I definitely would love to hear from you what you’d like to see. Any products in particular you’d like me to review? Be sure to 👏 and follow if you enjoyed. Much ❤️ my 🍒skinnies

What I Purchased During Sephora’s Holiday Sale
The most wonderful time of the year brings about Sephora’s Holiday Sale. For anyone who may not know about it, it’s just like the Sephora spring sale where depending on your BeautyInsider status, you get a certain percentage off of anything you buy (there are a few exceptions). Rouge status gets 20% off and early access 10/30 VIB status gets 15% off and early access 11/3 Insider status gets 10% off and regular access 11/5 Here’s what I picked this holiday season: FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - finally decided to try this based on the hype and man o man this did not disappoint! It smells stupid good, has a buttery consistency and is not the least bit sticky, and the colors are just gorgeous. I picked up Fenty Glow and loved it so much that I went back and got the color Fu$$y too! Buy it! Needless to say I just had to buy the new Fenty Glossy Posse Holoidaze edition which is four new mini gloss bombs. Did I tell you I have a problem with this gloss? I’m addicted. HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Powder - I’ve wanted to try this for a while and so far so good. They are very subtle powders that are finely milled and have the slightest amount of reflecting particles in it. I like to use this on “less is more” make-up days: BB cream and this powder, paired with a brow gel and lip balm and BOOM - I woke up like this 🎶 HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder - I’ve been in the market for a new setting powder for quite sometime. I had been using the Coty Airspun and really only using it to set my under eye concealer, but aside from the fact that there is talc in (trying to cut that out as much as possible) I found that it was not fine enough and would cake in my creases. This is so light and soft and works well for a light touch-up during the day. HOURGLASS - Arch Brow Shaping Gel- I haven’t actually used this, but I have high hopes based on reviews. My brows are really the most important part of my “getting ready” routine, but sometimes I don’t want to do a fully filled in brow and I want something easy and not as time consuming (I extremely detailed with my brows). I’ll do an update on this when I post my brow products!! Of course I picked up a few refills of some tried and true products that I constantly repurchase (coming soon to a Cherie post near you). belif - Eye Bomb Gwp the best hydrating eye cream that I have ever tried. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil - my favorite brow product of all time. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream - my winter moisturizer. What did you buy with your discount?! Let me know 😻

Sheer Lipstick - It’s Okay
This lipstick is nice. I have the shade called “copper charge”. It’s like a rusty golden color. I thought that the color was going to be bolder, but it’s more sheer than I thought it would be. MAYBELLINE - Color Sensational Creamy Mattes Lipstick

Freeze your brows
Anastasia Beverly Hills just came out with the brow freeze styling wax and I have to say it amazed me as soon as I put the first stroke on my eyebrow. I had been fighting to pull my eyebrows up with a hair gel because I had seen a lot of beauty gurus doing so. First I would brush the hairs up then flatten it with a brush to keep it in place. All and all very time consuming. I ordered my ABH brow freeze styling hack and I was very eager to try it.I opened the package as soon as it came in and the moment I dipped my brush in the wax and stroke it on my eyebrows, they got in the perfect shape and they were as flat as a paper in that instant.I have to say it is a little bit pricey than the ‘hair gel method’. But it’s gonna make your life easier and you decide how long one will last you. Needless to say if you use a lot,it’s gonna cost you a lot.But this is just my personal opinion. I would love to know how your experience is!

My well-loved drugstore makeup essentials
These are the drugstore makeup picks I ACTUALLY use! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Tarte Shapetape Concealer. Even the latest launches from Rare Beauty have me swooning. But drugstore makeup holds a special place in my heart. Walking through the aisles of Target or CVS gets me giddy. Quite honestly, I count those trips as my therapy sessions. Plus, these are the places were I started getting essentials to experiment with when I was younger! My favorite brands to score from are no doubt Pixi, NYX, Essence Cosmetics, Sonia Kashuk, Maybelline and Covergirl. They’re just my go-to’s! They’re the brands constantly putting out dupes for cult favorites. Everything in this picture, I use on a daily basis. I’ve been going through Maybelline Lifter Glosses like they’re going out of style. I actually was responsible for my local Target running out of stock once...oops. Another new essential that’s crawled its way into my everyday routine is the Covergirl Cooling Glow Stick. It’s part of their new Clean Fresh line and I use it on my WHOLE face. Top tip: try it under your eyes over your concealer 👀 I’m still in search for the perfect drugstore CC cream, does anyone have any good recommendations?

5 for the Season - Fall Favorites 🍁
🌞Yes I know technically fall ended about a week ago (...week ago) and I’ve DEF been slippin on my pimpin but to be fair, there isn’t a huge difference in temperature when it comes to SoCal. That being said, even though the sun is shining and the weather is warm, we still experience a fair amount of dryness with the drop in humidity levels, fire season 🔥, and Santa Ana winds. Fighting dryness and promoting hydration is always my number one goal this time of year. LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask theeeee best lip 👄 mask EVER! I only ever purchase the original berry flavor, but this is great at not only conditioning the lips, but also holds a large amount of moisture and hydration on the lips. I’d be interested to hear how the other flavors or “shades” work. Holler at ya girl. - 5.5 Licorice PH Balancing Cleansing Toner I can’t even begin to count exactly how many bottles of this I have gone through. It has become one of the major and nonnegotiable items in my routine. I live in an urban area apartment complex, and unfortunately we have hard water. Hard water can strip your face and throw off your skin’s pH level. No matter what cleanser I’m using, I always feel tight and dry. 🌵 I wipe this on my face, neck, and décolleté area. Not only does this balance the pH level and hydrate my skin, but the licorice root is AMAZING when it comes to preventing dark spots and healing acne scars. I scar SO easily and this, coupled with my vitamin C, has helped my acne marks heal twice as fast. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream my FAV, no frills moisturizer! I don’t rely on moisturizers for anything other thanmoisture. I leave all treatments to my serums and masks. I always use this as my nighttime moisturizer to lock in my serums, but since it’s colder 🥶(relatively lol) and drier in the fall, I get to save some funds 💵 and I use this day and night. I typically buy the mini because it’s in a squeeze tube and I’m extremely paranoid about dipping my fingers in tubs of products (hello bacteria 🦠.) Since I recently found a set of adorable silver and gold metal spoons made for cosmetics I finally purchased the big tub. So much bang for your buck! MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist 💕 💕 💕 this is by far my favorite setting spray. I always try new ones when they come out, and I always run back to MAC. In the summer I alternate between setting spray and setting powder (you do not need both!!!) but once the dry weather of fall hits 🍂 I won’t let setting powder touch my face and I rely solely on Fix+ since setting powder tends to be much more drying. Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil the most underrated product. I continued using this after I had my son for fall and winter dry skin. I wear at night under my body lotion and on days when I shave 🪒, I use this like an aftershave right after I get out of the shower.

My Favorite Concealers & How I Use Them!!
These concealers are constantly in rotation for me; I love them all and each one has its own unique purpose!! For a drugstore concealer, the REVLON - Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer is a beautiful radiant formula that I use to brighten my under eye area and highlight the high points of my face. (This shade is a tad too light for me (05)) so I usually mix a slightly darker one with it. DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer his is a high coverage, more matte finish concealer. It’s my go to when I need long lasting coverage and a formula that I know won’t settle into my lines! If I’ll be wearing it for longer than 8 hours or so, I’ll prep my under eyes with the #skyn ICELAND - Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels[products]#[FiveStars] or some sort of moisturizer I know looks good underneath makeup! Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer to spot conceal on days I’m only wearing a tinted moisturizer or lighter coverage foundation days. This stuff is a DREAM to blend out, it’s so easy to work with and can be built up a little bit as long as you work in light layers. Neutrogena - New Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealer the shade range on these concealers isn’t the greatest and the undertones lean more pink/peach which is why it’s perfect for color correcting blueish toned under eyes. I typically use this on days where my under eye bags are on a different level 😶 It’s the perfect consistency since it’s more hydrating and therefore layers well underneath other concealers. I like to use the e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer on top of the Neutrogena one since it’s pretty light coverage. The e.l.f. Camo concealer is a medium/full to full coverage formula and it wears so nicely throughout the day. I rarely have issues with it looking creasy or wearing off. I would recommend all of these concealers and love having a variety of formulas and shades to work with!! If you’ve tried any of these concealers, how did they work for you!?

Mineral Concealers - Drugstore Selection
Today I want to share my favorite mineral concealers for you. These are all drugstore concealers I got from Walmart and target. Each may vary in terms of moisturizing or coverage level, but they are all equally amazing. MARCELLE - Flawless Luminious Light-Infused Concealer I saw a lot of YouTuber's using it and I decided to give it a try. I have to say the option of colors is really not much to choose from. Luckily the closest undertone in fair range matches perfectly with my skin. One thing I really love about this product is that it glided real easily on my skin. I have combination and dry skin and it works fine for me as long as you moisturizer before putting it on. I am not sure if it is because of the natural mineral formula in it, its stays all day long without getting caky. It's a small tube but you don't need to use much. REVLON - Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer This mineral concealer that I got here is from Revlon. This covers my serious undereye circles and any imperfections well. It has a good coverage plus it doesn't crease. Comparing with most other concealers, this concealer has very light coverage but buildable. I use this for my everyday "natural" look. It goes on smooth & blends perfectly. Sometimes I just use this for no foundation days or when its hot outside and I don't want my face covered in makeup. L'ORÉAL - Age Perfect Radiant Concealer I have been trying to look for a product that will conceal my blemishes and this product did the trick !!!!.At first I thought that shade could be too dark for me but once you blend it in it's matches your skin tone perfectly I really like the texture. It goes on and blends in well. Supper easy to apply and feels so smooth and creamy. I also find this mineral concealer does crease a bit. Overall, An amazing product for a great price!

Flawless Wedding Makeup Tutorial ⭐️
I just got married this past week, so I thought I would share how I did my makeup for my special day. I was going for a more natural/neutral look and focus on products that would hold up through my tears. My skin tone is fair with pink undertones My skin type is sensitive combo & acne prone EYES: SHADOW. The eyes are arguably the stars of the show. Eyes are also so personal—I have hooded eyes so I have to use darker shadows to manipulate my eye shape. I started off with Mac’s Paint Pot in Soft Ochre MAC - Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow and set it with the Tartelette in Bloom Palette tarte - Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette shade “flower child.” Then I went in with “smarty pants” in my crease, creating a dramatic crease since my eyes are hooded. I continued deepening my crease and outer V with the shades “rebel” and “leader,” and blended out the upper edges with “charmer” on my brow bone. I mirrored the blend of “rebel” and “smarty pants” on my lower lash line. I finished off with “funny girl” on my lids! EYES: LINER + MASCARA: I feel like eyeshadow always looks a little funny until liner and lashes. I started off by giving myself a super thin line with the Urban Decay BLACK Perversion liner URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen . I have ultimate control since it has a brush tip. Shake before use! Then, I decided to use the Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer URBAN DECAY - Subversion Lash Primer Deluxe Sample I love this stuff! I finished off my lashes with Nars Climax NARS - Climax Mascara and the primer kept it LOCKED ON. FACE: I went a little rogue with my foundation and decided to try a sample I had of the Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation and I fell in love. With my elf “flawless foundation” brush, I used the shade “1” and it was a little pale for me but I bronzed up using the Fenty powder bronzer FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade “shady biz” and it worked perfectly with the Urban Decay blush brush. Then I went in and blended out the rare beauty blush in “grace” Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush , and since that is a matte blush I went in with my Becca liquid highlighter on my fingers over it to brighten it up BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter . NOTE: I didn’t use any setting spray or powder and makeup stayed on for 12+ hours! BROWS: my brows are pretty naturally full so I just lightly filled them in with e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil and e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel to hold them in place. LIPS: I also kept my lips simple since we wore masks all day—essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner all over and chapstick on top. #CheriePartner

Slay At Home
When I’m quarantining I still like to be glam, whether I’m going on a walk to get some fresh air, having a socially distanced hang out with a few friends, or simply hopping on a zoom call; I love to feel and look my best with this simple but sexy look. Since we all have to wear masks this look has more emphasis on the eyes and making them look beautiful but not too done up. 1. On a well moisturized face I begin by applying the iconic tarte - Shape Tape Concealer on all the places I need coverage like: under the eyes, chin, nose, and between the brows on the forehead. I don’t like to use foundation as I find it covers too many of my freckles which I like to see peaking through so applying concealer just where I need it allows me to cover exactly what I need. The Shape Tape concealer is amazing; it covers basically anything, blends seamlessly into the skin, and has a very natural finish that doesn’t look like makeup. I’ve used it for years and it’s simply the best. 2. Next I move on to eyes before I finish the rest of my face. Using a fluffy shadow brush of your choice I apply MAC’s MAC - Studio Fix Sculpt & Shape Contour Palette powder as a shadow base all around the eye for a natural looking shadow. I like to blend the shadow up and out to elongate the eye. Taupe from MAC is the absolute best contour color and can be used anywhere on the face, it’s great because it’s so versatile. 3. I then take a dark brown shade of shadow mixed with black shadow and apply that to the upper lash line for definition. MAC - MAC Eyeshadow 4. Using the surratt - Relevée Lash Curler then curl my lashes squeezing them at the base, mid length, and ends of the lash for a strong curl. This curler opens up wide so you can fit your entire eye in the device and get a nice even curl. 5. Next using the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - At Lash’d Lengthening and Curling Mascara I apply several coats focusing the majority of the product at the base. This mascara is great for separating and lengthening. 6. Then taking the #Huda Beauty - False Lashes[products]#[FiveStars] Harmony #17 lashes I use a little bit of Duo lash glue and apply them to the corners of my eye. I loveeee this lash because it’s perfect for the outer corners of the eyes to help achieve a cat like effect. 7. Now moving back to the skin I go in with thePATRICK TA - Major Beauty Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush in the shade “she’s Passionate” and apply this to the apples of the cheeks and forehead and brow bone. This shade is perfect for my skin tone because it gives a flushed sun burnt look and the formula is beautiful and bendable. 8. I then add warmth and definition to the face using the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect in “Tan-Tastic!” On the top of the forehead, under the jaw, contours of cheeks, and lightly across the bridge of the nose. I love this bronzer and if you want to know why check out my last post on the battle of the bronzers! 9. With a fluffy brush like the MAC 240S brush I take my PAT McGRATH LABS - Sublime Perfection Setting Powder and apply the powder to the forehead and T-Zone to eliminate shine. This powder is one of the best I’ve ever used and it has a really natural skin-like texture. I don’t like when powders look cakey but this one doesn’t have that appearance. 10. For the brows I use the amazing URBAN DECAY - Brow Blade Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil & Ink Stain in shade “Cool Cookie” to fill in the brows where needed. This product is so efficient because the combination of the marker and pencil gives a very natural look to the brow without it feeling heavy. 11. The last step is to highlight the high points of the face like the tops of the cheekbones, tip of the nose, inner corners of the eye and center of eyelids, brow bone, Cupid’s bow, and chin. I absolutely love the NATASHA DENONA - Face Glow Cream Shimmer stick in “Light” this product gives a super natural sheen and highlight to the skin, it just helps everything look juicy and plump!

Round face? You should get this palette
I have a round face. When I make up, I prefer to make my facial features look more delicate, and make my face look slimmer, so I cannot do without a contour plate. Today I would like to recommend a contour palette.   The product is MAC's Emphasize Cream Accentuate Taupe Sculpt Bone Swath -Studio Fix Sculpt And Shape Contour Palette. Wow, it’s a long name. The price is very reasonable. It comes in six colors for less than $60. And none of these six colors are hard to use or look unnatural on the face. Its texture is a bit like a foundation, not a powder, so it blends well with the foundation. Dry skin girls will also be very suitable when using this product   Let me show you how to use these six colors. "Emphasize" is a very fine color applied to my face, and I usually apply it to the position of the bridge of my nose and eyebrow bones to emphasize those areas and make my features look more solid.    "Cream" can brighten the dark circles under your eyes. Its color is a bit like cream, which can be used as concealer.   Accentuate can be applied to your cheekbones, which can pump up this part of your face.   "Taupe" is used to decorate the outline. I usually apply it on both sides of my nose to make my nose look higher.   "Sculpt" is a great way to base the eye socket. It will immediately make your eyes look deeper.   "Bone Beige" is perfect for applying on your mandible and cheekbones. It can decorate your face. I especially am a round face. I use it in the mandible position most of the time to make my face look slimmer.   One drawback of this contour palette is that it is relatively large and not suitable for taking out. However, I am very satisfied with other aspects, so I would like to recommend it to you.

Setting powder OR setting spray for mature skin?
As we age our skin looses elasticity and moisture! What skin care routines we had in our 20’s is no longer working...... Enter MATURE SKIN and a new world of discovery!!!!! So what is the best choice to set makeup with mature skin? HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder although this can have its place, I prefer to use it only on special occasions . For example is I need my skin to look flawlessly matte. I tend to use this product more in the summer, when my skin is less dry. SKINDINAVIA - SKINDINAVIA The Makeup Finishing Spray this is my go to every day! I love this spray. You can apply it to your beauty blender and dab on your face after applying foundation and concealer. This will set you makeup. You also can spray directly onto your face. Either way, your makeup will stay put. Your skin will thank you too 😀. This is affordable and lasts a long time!!

FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation oily after a few hours and a little cakey around lips. Not the worst though either. HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Palette not as good as the hype but works just not worth $65. benefit - Brow Zings Pro Palette eh. HUDA BEAUTY - Tantour Contour & Bronzer Cream flawless! KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Shade + Light Face Contour Refillable Palette just powders. Nothing wow factor but does last all day. Not muddy either or too orange. HUDA BEAUTY - Rose Gold REMASTERED Eyeshadow Palette her eyeshadows are always beyond amazing in all aspects. Ruined me for other cheaper pallets though lol.

COLOURPOP - COLOURPOP X Mulan Eyeshadow Palette i used the cool brown shade “imperial” as a contour on my forehead and cheekbones ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Moonchild Glow Kit i used the shade “lucky” which is a silver-green highlight. i put it on my cheeks and my inner corners eyes👁: URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion this is the best eye primer ever!!😊 COLOURPOP - COLOURPOP X Mulan Eyeshadow Palette i used the cool brown shade “imperial” to shade above the crease, and the dark brown shade “true” to deepen it even more. i then used a COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow called “empire” all over my lid. for eye liner, i put COLOURPOP - Crème Gel Liner called ice breaker in the water line to add a mint green effect. then, i used COLOURPOP - BFF Liquid Liner on the outside of my eyes and my inner corner to make my eyes look huge👁 i finished with my all time favorite L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara 😊 #CheriePartner

👁Black vs Blue Mascara 4 Brown Eyes 👁
I saw a video of a girl with green eyes using a maroon mascara which made her eyes really ⭐️pop⭐️ The reason her green eyes contrasted with the maroon mascara is bc red and green or complementary colors. Meaning these colors are the complete opposites, so when placed next to each other they both appear more radiant bc of how different they are. SO I figured since brown is just dark orange, maybe the complimentary color of orange would make my eyes ⭐️pop⭐️ Compliment of orange is blue. So I’m trying out some blue mascara. I do like the blue mascara here and there, not sure if it makes a difference or not. What do u think?! Also lmk if they’re any other color mascara that compliment brown eyes 👁👅👁 I thinks it’s pretty fun either way 🥳 I’m using the black and blue mascara by L’Oréal L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara

Combo Skin Win!!!
Ya know how winter brings out the dry skin and pushes your makeup into your wrinkles making your face look like a roadmap of foundation? This combo has saved my ass...I mean face 😊 I use the tinted moisturizer all over my face and use the CC cream over blemished or discolored areas for extra coverage. tarte - Maracuja Hydrating Tinted Moisturizer

My new makeup base routine - fine lines, pores
So I had run out of my old foundation which I liked (but didn’t love) and went to Sephora and asked for suggestions. I used to have oily skin but as I’ve gotten older (late 30s) it’s not quite as oily and I’ve had a few dry spots. I still have large pores and just starting to get some fines lines around the eyes. Yes- I’m adjusting my skincare and the skin is looking better BUT until it’s a work in progress so I specifically wanted a product that wouldn’t sit in or highlight the pores and lines. After a few issues colour matching we found the IT cosmetics CC cream. The sales person sold me on it and off I went on my way. Got home tried it out by just applying with my fingers and no primer and it seemed to sit in and highlight every pore on my face!! I was so upset!! But after some research I decided to give it a chance (as it was expensive!). So off I went and bought a nice foundation brush and a pore filling primer. The e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer is like silk. It’s so nice going on. I try and “press” it into to the skin to really even out the texture and I love it. Only wish is that it came with a spatula so it was easy to get out. REAL TECHNIQUES - Complexion Blender Brush this brush is so soft and the size is not too big not too small - you can control it well around the hairline etc. it gives a great airbrushed look and It held up well after its first wash. it Cosmetics - it Cosmetics CC+ Cream SPF 50+ with the right tools this is going on great. It gives a nice natural “dewy” airbrushed look. I use one squirt straight on the brush and it will give a nice natural all over finish. You can really build up the coverage. It leaves the skin feeling plump and hydrated afterwards. It does have a strong fragrance - it’s nice but threw me off at first as I don’t really want/need fragrance in makeup. It also takes a while to set - it sits on your skin and you can move it around for awhile - I use a setting spray as my translucent powder isn’t great and made it a little cakey. Your skin feels lovely after you take it off. I would recommend this but don’t believe you don’t need a primer AND make sure your apply with a brush (they do recommend this and sell brushes but in Aus their brush cost more than the CC cream itself!). If I keep getting good results I will look at repurchasing but might check out the matte version as maybe it doesn’t “set” due to the oil and sometimes it’s a little to “dewy” looking.

✨ No Makeup Makeup Mask Look ✨
✨ No Makeup Makeup Mask Look ✨
After constantly wearing full glam for the past couple of years the majority of the days, it’s been refreshing to just go for a light and natural look! Having a mask cover over half of my face whenever I go out makes the focus my eyes and I mainly keep it simple and quick. I included swatches of the shades I used on my eyes on the last slide. . What I used: tarte - Shape Tape Concealer : A classic concealer, I use it to cover blemishes on my forehead and prime my eyelids. It’s high coverage and stays put the whole day. It’s hard to shade match online. benefit - Goof Proof Brow Pencil : A decent brow pencil, it’s very creamy and easily can get out of where you want it. It’s good, but don’t think it’s worth the price tag. . tarte - Double Duty Beauty Busy Gal Brows Tinted Brow Gel : A decent brow gel, but the wand is a little big so not very easy to handle. The hold is very light and I prefer something stronger so that I know my brows won’t budge. . Too Faced - Natural Lust Naturally Sexy Eyeshadow Palette : A neutral lovers dream, it has a great variety of neutral shades! It does crease throughout the day, but I like the pigmentation of this palette! . NYX - Glitter Primer : Great at making your shimmers pop and last longer! . COVERGIRL - Lash Blast Amplify Eyelash Primer and MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Mascara Full Fan Effect : A great lash duo that stays put (have a little smudging on bottom lashes) and makes my lashes look long, dark, and voluminous! . FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer : If I’m feeling extra, I’ll bronze my forehead since it’s the only part you can see. This is a nice one! . Steps: 1) Apply concealer onto blemishes and eyes for primer. 2) Do brows. 3) Put a light brown shade in the crease. 4) Add a darker brown into the crease and blend. 5) Apply the glitter primer and a light shimmer on top. 6) Powder and bronze your forehead. 7) Add mascara and highlight your brow bone and inner highlight. . #CheriePartner

Bronzer VS Blush | 🦋ABG makeup look🦋
Bronzer VS Blush | 🦋ABG makeup look🦋
To get things started, we have to keep the differences between bronzer and blush in mind: "Bronzer is basically blush, but blush is not bronzer." Blush should be used to add warmth to the cheeks, while bronzer is used specifically to make you look tan. In a nutshell, blush is used to add a flush of color to the cheeks, while bronzer is intended to make the skin look sun-kissed or tan.✨ As a result, blush tends to come in variations of pink (sometimes with peach or plum undertones), where bronzer is typically brown or gold in color. 🦋 How they applied Blush is made to be applied directly to the apples of the cheeks and cheekbones. Bronzer can be applied both to the cheekbones and brow, jawline, and other contours of the face and décolletage. 🦋 Mood and Occasion If you’re going for a natural look, bronzer can add a hint of color and definition. Bronzer is perfect for casual weekend events, as well as more made-up evening looks, particularly those that include contouring. Blush can add a touch of softer, flushed color and is also great for daywear, but use it sparingly—blushes are often very pigmented and can go on heavy if you're not careful. Whichever you choose, keep in mind that less is more, and be sure to keep the color (whether pink or bronze) within range of your natural skin tone. Now that we’ve gone over the difference between bronzer and blush, hopefully you won’t be staring at your makeup bag in confusion any longer about which to wear. So for today’s ABG makeup look, I applied bronzer to make my chin look more strong and the face look slimmer. 🦋 Product details: PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer Best-selling bronzers in the mass market! I’ve bought this product with $14.95, it comes in an adorable tropical-looking compact complete with palm trees and bright colors on it. As soon as you open the top, you can catch a whiff of the buttery goodness going on in there. It smells like Butter Cookies or close to that. The product pan is beautiful and is shaped like sea waves. 🦋 Color: Oohhh!!! The color!!! This bronzer has the perfect bronze-y gold shade with peach undertones for adding the correct amount of warmth and glow to the face. This is certainly not a contouring powder, but the color is best suited for adding some glow and warmth to the skin on a daily basis. 🦋 Texture: It feels very silky and buttery to the touch, like almost creamy! It also contains soft-focus pigments and ultra-refined pearl that gives a glow that looks so beautiful. This bronzer by no means contains chunky shimmer or glitter, has the correct amount of finely-milled shiny powder with a bronze-y glow. 🦋 Longevity: The bronzer does have considerable longevity and does stay on the face for about 6-7 hours which is incredible! I do set my face with a setting spray or a face mist and it does increase the longevity of this product. Anyway, ABG makeup look check!!

Creasing is the worst for eyeshadow. But I have this eyeshadow primer!
Creasing is the worst for eyeshadow. But I have this eyeshadow primer!
Every time you put it in the time to create a dramatic eye look, you must hope the eyeshadow and eye liner stay at the area they’re supposed to be. However, you also find that makeup will get creasing and uneven a few hours later, especially for oily eyelids. That’s why you need an eye primer which can help your eye makeup stick around the eye area. If you have never tried an eye primer, you must try it right now because it really enhances the eyeshadow application. If you already can’t do make up without eye primer, I recommend you my favorite eye primer— URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anyone who has ever heard about this brand— Urban Decay, must know its popular eye primer product. I bought it at Sephora by $24. The sales told me that this eye primer was favored by lots of professional stylists and makeup blogger, and this product works to create a crease-free look. The truth was just like what she said. When I used this eye primer, it soon became one of my favorite makeup tools. Also, I found that this little purple potion has a cult following in the Internet. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion serves as an eye makeup base for no creasing and long-lasting eye shadow finish. The primer is incredibly lightweight. It is creamy, smooth but without feel any sticky or greasy, and easily goes on the lids and dries down to a powder finish. But it works like a glue which holds onto whatever eyeshadow you put on it and ups color intensity. Applying with this magical eye primer, your eye shadow will stay in place all day long without creasing or caking! Only a small amount will serve the whole eyelids, so one primer can be used for several months.
