Ingredient Spotlight w/ VERSED Anti-Aging Bundle
I tried the youth preserving “bounce back bundle” from VERSED (at Target) for 15 days! Here are my thoughts. ✨ VERSED - ON THE RISE FIRMING SERUM
Sensitive skin face serums
Eye creams for dark circles
Skin brightening serums
The BEST of Versed Skincare
I first saw this brand at Target and was super excited to try some of the products. I was very surprised with quite a few of these products, but also disappointed with others. I’ll talk about the disappointing products in another post though. VERSED - PRESS RESTART This serum has a lightweight lotion feel to it which is great for most skin types. Those with oily skin may find that this product is too hydrating. This serum also works well with other products. -Contains a good amount of retinol along with bakuchiol which helps stabilize the formula and it has the same effects as retinol. -Fragrance-free. -The formula includes moisture-retaining sugars such as xylitol. -The formula also contains antioxidant plant extracts such as prickly pear, aloe, as well as sea buckthorn, rosehip oils, and shea butter. VERSED - FIND CLARITY Purifying Mask This mask has a creamy texture which is comfortable for all skin types. It is fragrance-free and unlike other clay masks, it is free of other irritants. -After rinsing, this product leaves skin smoother and softer. -Uses kaolin and bentonite clays to control shine absorb excess oil. VERSED - ON THE RISE FIRMING SERUM This is a lightweight serum that is suitable for all skin types and leaves a non-greasy finish. The formula also includes sodium hyaluronate for hydration. -Contains many antioxidants in the forms of vitamin C, E, and A. -Includes a very soothing combo of peptides that help to improve signs of sun damage and replenish the skin’s surface. VERSED - Silk Slip Conditioning Lip Oil This product is described as an oil but is a little thicker than that which helps it to stay on the lips. There is a noticeable shine after application, but nothing too dramatic. This lip oil is free of fragrance, flavor, or other irritating ingredients. -Includes a great amount of antioxidants such as non-fragrant jojoba, soybean, sesame, macadamia olive, and sunflower oils. -The formula also includes shea butter which is a good emollient. -All ingredients listed above contribute to hydrating and smoothing that help the appearance of healthy, plump lips. VERSED - THE FIX Emergency Eye Mask The texture of this product has a slightly thick gel consistency that applies easily. It dries somewhat quickly, but since it has a thick texture, it’s better to use at night. The gel has a cooling effect but this isn’t due to any potentially irritating, cooling ingredients like menthol. -Contains cucumber which is great for its hydrating and antioxidant abilities. -Includes two peptides which is helpful for fine lines around the eyes and such. -Non-fragrant rosehip oil, moisturizing pantheol, vitamin C, and two forms of Vitamin E are included which help strengthen the eye area. -Caffeine is included which can help soothe redness, but there isn’t much research that proves it can help puffy eyes.
🥰 Gentle exfoliant that gave me baby soft skin❤
Hey everyone!! ❤️ The VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel is the first Versed product I’ve ever bought and WOW! I walked by the Versed display in Target and the cute packaging caught my eye. (I know I’m a sucker for packaging). I grabbed this product first, read the box, and looked at the ingredients and was already impressed. Now a month later, I’m OBSESSED with this product. I use it about twice a week at night and the next morning my skin always feels ~so soft~! For an exfoliating peel, it has been so gentle on my skin. I also love the lightweight cream consistency! I have skin that can handle much stronger AHAs, but I think this lactic acid glycolic acid peel would work great for more sensitive skin too. I picked up VERSED - ON THE RISE FIRMING SERUM the other day while I was at Target because ever since I fell in love with this overnight peel I’ve been dying to try more Versed products. I’ve only used this serum a couple times but will post an update once I’ve been using it for longer. Do y’all know of any other great Versed products for me to try?

My Take on VERSED Vit-C🍊
After I emptied my bottle of I DEW CARE - Bright Side Up Brightening Vitamin C Serum Cost 25$ 1oz. @ Ulta Which I loved! I just wanted to try the new brand Versed line at Target. And where better to start than with vitamin C 🍊! So I went and picked up VERSED - STROKE OF BRILLIANCE Brightening Serum Cost-19.99$ 1 oz. @ Target 🎯 CLAIMS 😏 Light weight, never tacky serum to help firm, hydrate, and strengthen the skin. Contains vitamin C for brightening and anti-aging a Contains licorice root and palmaria palmata extract for skin lightening properties. Also has niacinamide which helps even your skin tone. Contains hyaluronuc acid too!! Vegan & cruelty free! 🐭 For all skin types. MY EXPERIENCE 😊 So far I am not hating it! It does not smell like typical licorice it is a very faint smell. Slightly sweet. The texture is a tad thicker than the I Dew Care serum. You only use about 2-3 drops 💦 and gently pat it into your skin. BUT! It is sticky as you pat it around. So that claim is a bust....I don’t mind it and it doesnt stay that way. Does it do a better job than my late bottle of I Dew Care serum??? Honestly I think it’s about the same and it’s slightly cheaper. Only reason I gave 4 ✨ is because I favor the floral scent of I Dew Care. We will see how things are when I empty the bottle....it may sway me into a repurchase.
My top tier serums for combo skin 🏆
Serums are a crucial part to every well designed skincare routine. Serums are designed to deliver high concentrations of specific active ingredients to the skin. Nowadays there are many options out there that adjust to every budget and skin concern you may have. For me, I like having a serum to treat dullness, brighten, enlarged pores, and lately, to help my skin maskne-free. I’ve been using these serums for a while and I really like them, let me tell you why! 🧴 PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum I love this so much, I think this is my second bottle and I actually just ran out of it! This is holy grail status for a lot of people and with reason, the ingredients are amazing. Niacinamide is one of my favorite skincare ingredients, it offers so many benefits and works well for most skin types. It also includes madecassoide and hyaluronic acid for moisture, I love that it’s light and hydrating at the same time, my dehydrated a** loves that 😌 Its $39 for 40 ml but it’s constantly on sale at Ulta! 🧴 VERSED - STROKE OF BRILLIANCE Brightening Serum Versed is a brand that’s grown on me, they have nice formulas for accessible price points, everything I’ve from them has worked well for me and I think it’s a good gateway brand if you’re just getting into skincare! This little bb also includes niacinamide and vitamin C, which were thought to be a big no-no to mix but it turns out they actually work really well together. This works great to treat uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. If you’re new to skincare and need something that works but isn’t very pricey I think this is a good choice for you! It’s $19.99 for 1 fl. oz and you can find the brand at Target. 🧴 VERSED - JUST BREATHE Clarifying Serum I bought this recently to treat maskne specifically and I’m very pleased with it! The ingredient list caught my eye because I know willow bark extract works very well for me, and zinc is greatly known for its anti inflammatory properties and it could prevent clogged pores. Its very light and watery in texture, and it’s not sticky! 🧴 Mad Hippie - Mad Hippie Exfoliating Serum this serum is amazing! It exfoliates with glycolic acid and lactic acid but also nourishes with goji berry extract and ceramides! Ceramides are lipids that help form the skin’s barrier and help skin retain moisture. I love that this is gentle enough to use every other night, but potent enough to help my skin look more radiant and combats dullness. It’s $34.99 for 1.02 fl oz, so not really super affordable nor super expensive, it’s a happy medium I’d say but it’s completely worth it. I believe this is also sold at Ulta, don’t quote me on that tho. And there you have it, my current serums I keep on rotation!

All my ahas for the night time
Yes, it’s a bit much but mind you I built up to this and took my time to get to this as well. THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner I use it with my fingers to avoid wastage of product but you can use a cotton pad if it’s easier, I like to spot treat along with the lactic acid serum. Both have done wonders for me and I am soooo grateful for the low price point! The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA After dabbing on the glycolic acid on areas of my forehead, cheeks and chin, I go over it with the lactic acid and a few other serums. You can always use one in place of the other but I have found that this combination has worked really well for me. I used to use the lactic acid on its own previous and it really has visibly changed the texture of my skin which I am sooo happy to talk about because no other product has made such a huge difference in such a short amount of time. VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel Pretty decent, it’s good to use as a night cream on my décolletage and neck, I feel like I neglect those areas often because I don’t want to waste product and this really helps me with exfoliating and stuff. I think AHAs are very good for overall skin texture and renewal! Look into it, if you haven’t already.
I am really enjoying these products by versed a lot!! Here are my thoughts: . . 💛 Vacation Eyes Brightening Eye Gel - 5/5 (will repurchase) • Going into these cooler months you will need all the hydration you can get it. Not only does it offer that, it also gives the illusion of no eye bags because of the texture. It's like an optical illusion. Keeps my eye area smooth. . . 💚 Zero-G Smoothing Eye Cream - 4.5/5 (deciding) • I use this eye cream at night to give my eye area the extra love it needs. It's a smooth texture that's a little slippery. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker because of that. A little goes a long way. I have to rub it together first before I apply it. . . 🖤 Few Point Moisturizer Gel Cream 5/5 (will repurchase) • This is my favorite out of three. This offers hydration especially for my oily skin. I apply extra on a few dry areas but and my skin is smooth throughout the day. I know most people use heavier products in colder seasons but my skin really enjoys the gel textures. This works great alone, under sunscreen and make-up. Definitely a keeper. . . Have you tried these products yet?!?! .
These are my new skin care goodies🥰😍I just got them last week, but I am really loving these Versed products. I’ve never tried this brand before but I am super pleased so far, I only had them for 1 week but the Versed skin soak is very hydrating and really does soak right into skin so it doesn’t leave skin oily or greasy at all. The same goes for the Versed eye cream, very hydrating - as for any anti-aging benefits it’s too soon to tell. I will continue to use this eye cream & post an update. I use the Versed skin soak & eye cream during my nighttime routine. As for the Glam Glow eye cream ; I have used Glam Glow products for years & I’ve always enjoyed them; same goes for this eye cream ! It’s nice & light , eyes feel hydrated & it has a slight pinkish hue that slightly helps under eye discoloration- I have only been using this during my day time routine & it plays nice under makeup. I will post an update on what benefits I see with continued use🙂
SKIN CARE FOR HOW MUCH😱🤩?!?
Just like The Ordinary, here we are with another affordable skin care brand!!! Are you excited??? 🤩 If you live in Canada like me, you can find The Inkey List in your local Shoppers Drug Mart and if you’re from the UK (also like me) you can find it at any Boots or Superdrug. In Ontario these products range between $8-13.... which is a steal if you’re used to throwing a lot of bread at Sephora💸🤦🏻♀️ I have been using these three for a month now and am in love the Collagen Booster and Polyglutamic Acid. Unfortunately the Caffeine Aye Cream was a huge let down for me (Stay Tuned for Why). x Collagen Booster Face Serum (30ml) A natural skin protein that helps the skin keep its firmness, suppleness and elasticity while also reducing redness, fine lines, wrinkles and pores. I LOVE this serum... it truly is worth the shot!! My face has never felt so bouncy yet firm at the same time... if you know what I mean? I use this straight after I have cleansed and toned my face making sure that I distribute the serum all around my face/neck and then pat into the skin for full benefits! YOUR SKIN IS A SPONGE LADIES🧽 x Polyglutamic Acid (30ml) Polyglutamic Acid is naturally found in the skins layers, which aids to maintain the skins moisture levels. It is also known to hold up to 4x more moisture that hyaluronic acid ... YES you heard me right!!! I never knew the benefits of this until I put it on my face! My face usually looks greasy after face oils and moisturizer, but this little guy truly change that for me😍😍😍As directed on the bottle, I use this after my serums to lock all the good stuff into my skin before I moisturizer... oh my ladies does this ever penetrate the skin! My face has never felt so soft and supple before these two lovely products! For the price you cannot knock it! x Caffeine Eye Cream (15ml) This product isn’t worth the price considering that Caffeine is listed as ingredient number 12... puffiness and dark circles are still the same! If you are looking for a better product that does the trick of making you look alive when you really aren’t? Well then head on over to The Ordinary!!! The Caffeine Eye Solution 5% + EGCG is $6.70 and you get TWICE THE FORMULA FOR HALF THE PRICE!!!

dermalogica for all your skin concerns!💿
so to start i just want to say i am very lucky and have received most of my products i post for free for a few reasons, one is from working with cherie the past few months (they’re amazing!), my best friend is also a manager at ulta and gives me a ton of really nice products for free! and lastly i have 3 good friends who are popular content creators and i’m lucky enough to get the products they don’t want😂 dermalogica - Calm Water Gel Moisturizer $50 1.7oz (sephora) I recently started the dermalogica line a month ago and I’m absolutely loving it. I had dry skin with some oily spots and I’ve been using the calm water gel moisturizer and it has my face so hydrated and glowly..It’s a line I would like to stick with. The only downside is the price is pretty expensive but it is kind of a luxury brand. dermalogica - BioLumin-C Vitamin C Serum 1oz $89 I have been trying to find a product to help with my acne scarring and fine lines, and this works wonders. I have only been using this for 2 weeks now and I already see a huge change in my skin overall. it's cleared, and I feel like I can actually go without makeup now. I definitely recommend this If you want to try a vitamin c serum. the price is just crazy though. dermalogica - Biolumin-C Vitamin C Eye Serum $70 .5oz This product is amazing! I’ve always had prominent dark circles and have used many other products (Philosophy, Estée Lauder, and even other Dermalogica products), and nothing compares to this. This product is excellent at both brightening the eye area, and neutralizing and puffiness. I will be sticking with this eye cream so long as the formula doesn’t change. Another great product by Dermalogica. This and the OleHenrickson are my top two eye creams ever i love them! Ole is about half the price if you want one just as good.

Hey everyone ! Here is a layout of my PM Routine. I try to keep my PM Routine simple as well but also effective. 1. Korres Cream Cleanser, this is my new favorite face wash ! It starts out as a cream and goes to a foam. It’s very gentle but helps clean my face very well. Also very good for removing makeup, you should still double cleanse though. 2. Olehenriksen glow2oh dark spot toner is magic in a bottle. If you struggle with hyperpigmentation this is amazing ! It has AHAs to help combat dark marks. It’s smells amazing also !!! I’m currently using a sample but after I run out I will definitely be purchasing the full size ! 3. The ordinary hyaluronic acid serum is my favorite! It helps hydrate my skin ! It’s also super affordable. One thing I can say it’s a bit sticky but works well with other serums. 4. Olehenriksen Vitamin C serum I use morning and night. Vitamin C is my favorite ingredient and helps with overall brightening my skin and helping with hyperpigmentation. 5. Olehenriksen Frightening banana ice cream is a nice eye cream from morning at night to help with dark circles and also brighten your under eyes. 6. Glossier Moisturizing Rich is my favorite moisturizer this is my third bottle it’s very thick and also helps moisturize and hydrate my skin. It has a slight lavender scent but not super powerful and disappears upon application.

I am SO excited for the weekend as hubs and I have some plans to spend some time together and that makes me super happy! I never thought I would love anything more than Sleep Plus Pillow Spray but this stuff is phenomenal! So this is thisworks brand spanking range and its called “Morning Expert”. It’s basically your morning cup of coffee for the skin, aims to restore your glow, and helps you wake up with a bang!💥 . Here’s what’s included in the range: Morning Expert Vitamin C Mask, £39: Containing vitamin C 10%, jojoba and sweet almond oil this is the perfect morning cleanser. It can also be used as a mask that’s left on for 1-10 minutes for more intensive action. I normally avoid physical exfoliators as my skin ends up too sensitive. This is different. Its balmy and gritty but also gentle. It’s as though C-scape by DCL and Eve Lom’s Gel Balm Cleanser had a baby. Incredible stuff! I noticed my skin visibly brighter and smoother even after one use! Morning Expert Multi-Acid Pads, £33: Containing azelaic acid to help reduce the appearance of blemishes, vitamin B3 (niacinamide) to help brighten and liquorice root + aloe vera to help calm inflammation. This is a daily exfoliator in the form of pre-soaked pads in a pot. My daughter has her eyes on these but I’m not willing to part with my perky pot babes.🙅🏻♀️ Morning Expert Open Eyes, £30: Containing giant kelp and Persian silk tree, this is an eye cream in a light lotion form to help brighten the eye area. I especially love the metal applicator because it’s so cooling around the eyes, and helps de-puff. This also has anti-blue light support. . Morning Expert Wake-Up Drops, £16: The is an essential oil blend of 100% natural peppermint, lavandin and rosemary to help sharpen focus and boost morning motivation. I have ordered a diffuser for this and cannot wait to put 3-5 drops of this gorgeous scent in my diffuser in the morning to help me feel positive and banish fatigue! I wish I had this when I was taking my ACCA exams! Really helps the mind focus! .

VERSED Brightening Eye Serum
VERSED Vacation Eyes Brightening Eye Gel is a lightweight eye serum that targets dullness to brighten & refresh the under eye. It is formulated with vitamin C, ginseng root extract, and niacinamide to brighten. It also contains coffee seed extract which supports circulation and helps to flush out fluid that can get caught in the under eye area and leads to dark circles. It has a lightweight gel consistency that blends easily into the skin. I’ve been using this eye serum for several months now & I love its consistency. It works really well under makeup. However, I don’t notice much of a difference in my dark circles when I use it. So for that reason, I only gave it 3 stars. This product is a great value at $17.99. I would recommend it for someone who is wanting just a little brightening under the eye. For those who need lots of help with dark circles, I would say this probably isn’t the product for you. Why You Need Niacinamide In Your Life Right Now
Ingredient Breakdown - Niacinamide Edition 🖤 Niacinamide is my absolute favorite skincare ingredient absolutely everyone can benefit from. Benefits: Regulates Oil Production Reduces Redness/Inflammation Treats Hyperpigmentation Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles Protects Skin From Environmental Aggressors Personally, my skin type is dehydrated yet oily skin with post acne hyperpigmentation and redness/inflammation. This has done wonders for evening out my skin tone and reducing a lot of the redness in my skin. I recently stopped using it for 8 day’s now to try something else out and it made me realize how much it kept my redness at bay. It also has really regulated my oil production which in turn has made my pores appear smaller (because excess oil isn’t constantly being clogged). I use the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner daily, followed up by the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum , and then I use the CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream (which contains niacinamide to help with dark circles) and I have really seen it’s brightening affect and oil control properties. I’ve been using it for at least half a year now if not longer but you should start to see some results in 6-12 weeks. It’s something you really need to be using daily. For its protection and anti wrinkle properties literally everyone can use this product but if you have enlarged pores, acne, hyperpigmentation and/or oily skin this will absolutely be your best friend. If anyone watches Skincare by Hyram on YouTube he talks about this a lot. It’ll regulate your oil production therefor excess oil will not be produced and clog the pores (which paired with weekly exfoliation will help reduce acne). While it’s doing that it’s brightening properties will help even out the skin tone and address any post acne hyperpigmentation and inflammation.
