Another Marshall’s Haul
Before the snow hit in the north east, I had to hit up Marshall’s so I had some new products to play with. This shopping trip I found makeup products from Becca and Milk to try out. As with any trip to Marshall’s it’s hit or miss with products and shade ranges, so I know this foundation is a bit too light, but the undertone was right. There were also a few other things I wanted, but their packaging was open and the products were clearly touched. So let’s dive in to what I used for this look (3rd pic, I don’t use any filters/beauty mode). Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I like the powdery finish it leaves on my skin. I’ll have to use it a few more times before I decide how much I like it. BECCA - Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation I’m generally not a fan of full coverage foundation. But this does not feel heavy or caking on my skin (yes, it’s a shade too light). I applied it pretty lightly, but you can easily build this up to you preferred coverage level. BECCA - Limited Edition Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder I was pleasantly surprised by this powder. I usually only use powder lightly under my eyes o set my concealer, but this was so light that I used it all over my face. It did not settle into my fine lines or make me look dry (aging skin). I applied with a velour puff and used a fluffy brush to remove the excess. Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek I’m a big fan of cream products and the fact that this does double duty, lips and cheeks, makes it a winner in my book. Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara I’ve been dying to try this mascara (if you’ve read any of my previous posts, you know I’m on an unending hunt for the perfect mascara). But I couldn’t justify the price tag if it was just going to end up in the “meh” pile of mascaras I already have. It gave a great first impression, but I’ll have to use it a few more times before I decide to invest in a full sized tube. For under $40, I got to try some high end products that are usually out of my budget. I love Marshall’s for exactly this reason! What is your favorite Marshall’s find?
Miniature Milk Makeup haul
Milk Makeup is a brand I’ve been dying to try. But it is not in my budget. So when I got my hands on these mini products for under $20, I couldn’t wait to play with them!! Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer after one use, I like it, but it’s something that I’ll have to use all of before I decide for sure. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick easy to apply. Didn’t have to use my fingers. Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek love!! I enjoy a cream blush, and the fact that it does double duty as a lip gloss is even better. Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara this is the product that I’ve been most excited to try. The brush is quite large and it applies the mascara nicely without clumping. What’s your favorite Milk product?
Blush or Highlight?
Can I share with you guys that I’m obsessed with @milkmakeup lip & cheek tint and their holographic stick highlighter 💗✨ - - 💗Mini Lip + Cheek 💗This is a two in one sheer blush and lip tint in the shade ‘dusty rose’ and is buildable. It has ingredients like mango butter and avocado oil to keep the skin hydrated. I have noticed how moisturized my skin feels with these instead of powder blushes. It is so convenient to apply just swipe and blend with my fingertips. The lip + cheek tint is vegan, crueltyfree, talc free, soy free and gluten free 💕. - - ✨Holographic Stick Highlighter ✨This highlighter I use is the shade ‘Mars’. I personally really like peachy/gold highlighters as they go well with my skin tone. Milk makeups highlighter stick also has mango butter, avocado oil and coconut oil to keep the skin moisturized. It gives me the perfect dewy glow I always want. Holographic Stick is vegan, crueltyfree and talc free ✨. - - Have you tried any @milkmakeup products? What’re your favourite cream blushes/highlighters? Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek

Moon prism power fail? 🌙
This review is pretty late considering how long ago the products came out but I was hoping they would grow on me with time. I immediately bought the blush in Cat’s Eye and The Moonlight Lip Bundle once they became available on Colourpop’s website. First of all, the packaging is amazing. For any Sailor Moon fans or collectors, these are beautiful! For anyone who wants to actually wear the makeup, read on. The lip bundle includes Sailor Moon Ultra Glossy Lip, a coral pink gloss with gold sparkles, and Bun Head Ultra Blotted Lip, a sheer rose pink liquid lipstick. While I found the shades flattering, they almost seemed to dry out my lips and application seemed to almost drag against my skin. I would say that these shades are unlikely to show up on darker skin tones though. I had a hard time choosing which blush to buy but ended up choosing Cat’s Eye. It’s a deeper rose pink that is more universal and subtle, while the other shade is a bright Barbie pink. However, this does have pearlescent clunky sparkles that prevent me from using this more often. It does have good pigmentation and lasts for about 6-8 hours on application. Don’t get me wrong. I like some of Colourpop’s products. They’re super shock highlighters are amazing but I’d pass on buying more from this collection.

Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek
Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek These well loved lip + cheek tints were my first introduction into cream blushes, and my first successful attempt at applying blush. The berry shade is Quickie and the dusty rose shade is Werk. You get so much product in these tubes that I don’t think I’ll ever run out, so they’re absolutely worth their money. These look great on both the lips and the cheeks. I use Quickie on both most often, as I think Werk is a little too pale for my lips. Both of these give me a natural flush and are easy to apply. I run my fingers on the top and tap to blend into my cheeks. In the future I would probably choose the mini versions since I travel for work and these are fairly bulky, but if you don’t live in a tiny cabin on a cruise ship, I’d say get your money’s worth and go for the full size! Sunnies Face comes to the US with Rose Inc.
Sunnies Face x Rose Inc. collab means they’re in the US for the first time. This is the off duty kit which is more neutral than the on duty kit. The blush is nice, but a little too orangey for me. The two lipsticks in “nudist” and “vacay” are super nice and the matte formula is different than everything else I have. Definitely check them out! I can’t wait for more Sunnies Face products to be released in the US.

Perfect blush ❣️MILK Makeup ( Lip+Cheek Color)
This has been my new favorite go-to product when I want to just fix my face to go out with a nude makeup effect. I have this in the color ’werk.’ I use it the most for my cheeks, like a blush. It blends perfectly and is so easy to control the amount of product being applied onto the skin. It comes in a roll- on application stick and is perfect to carry around. I pair this up with a semi-nude lipstick and I am ready to dash out!! I must warn you that it doesn’t work all that great as a lipstick - even though it is advertised as a cheek+ lip color. It makes up for this as just the most powerful, natural-looking blush ever❣️Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek
