Is Luxurious Makeup Worth it?
While these products are definitely nice to look at, they aren’t necessarily worth the money. BUT it depends on who you’re talking to. For some, the pretty packaging is worth the large price tag, but for others, as long as the product gets the job done it is worth it. These products were each a gift (besides the Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer which is the least expensive out of the bunch) so I didn’t get the buyers remorse with most of these! However, I think that’s a great way to go about getting these products! If you can’t afford luxurious beauty products, wait until a holiday and ask for your most sought after products! And if you can afford them and want to treat yourself, by all means that is fine too! What gifts can we buy for boyfriend?🎁
Each time when I need to buy gifts for my boyfriend, I got so confused. I don't really know his preference. If I really don’t know what to buy, I will go to Sephora to pick one perfume. Perfume is always the right thing to do, lol. I show 6 men's perfume to give girls a reference, some of them are hot products but some of them are not. You can make a choice according to the following reviews. The six fragrances are Loewe 001 man, Hermes Terre d'Hermes, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, Bvlgari Man, Bleu de Chanel, and Salvatore Ferragamo Subtil Pour Homme. I have shown them all on the picture. I'm not a professional perfume evaluator either. I can only distinguish them from the perspective of a female consumer. These six perfumes are divided into three categories in my mind. One category contains musk, which is very wild smell. One is plants category, and the other is sweet fruit. First, musk category. They are Loewe, chanel and Salvatore Ferragamo. according to the intensity of fragrance, the order is Loewe > Chanel > Salvatore Ferragamo. I went to study their ingredient list. Each perfume was added with musk. Musk is a very expensive medicinal material, so musk in perfume is actually synthetic. It has a musky taste and increases stability. In my sense, 1. Loewe 001 sprays out the light wood flavor first, then it becomes more and more strong and a little sandalwood flavor, and light tobacco flavor, which is the taste of mature men, very clean and sexy. 2. Bleu de Chanel, this perfume has many bad reviews, saying that it is too commercial and common. I think because everyone feels different about smell, this one just makes most people feel good, the flavor is so simple. not bad. 3. Salvatore Ferragamo Subtil Pour Homme: Fragrance lasts for 7 hours. There is no big characteristic. What's more, the taste is the lightest of these three Musk Perfume, which is more suitable for daily life. The second category is plant perfume, Hermes Terre d'Hermes and Bvlgari Man. 4. Hermes Terre d'Hermes, when spray out the perfume firstly, you will feel strong alcohol smell. but after ten seconds, there will be a smell of wood. If you don’t know what perfume to buy, this one will make no mistake. 5. Bvlgari Man, it is not popular. Its very suitable for business man in formal fress. The smell is elegant and mature. The last one is sweet fruit category, which is JPG! 6. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, this is a kind of perfume that you can eat because it tastes so sweeeet. It contains Lavender and mint. In contrast to his muscular male packaging. I like it very much.HERMÈS - Terre d’ Pure Perfume BVLGARI - Man Eau de Toilette Jean Paul GAULTIER - Le Male Eau de Toilette CHANEL - BLEU DE CHANEL Eau De Parfum LOEWE - 001 Eau de Cologne New In
my top 3 luxury scents💰
hi y’all🌈 i want to tell you about my top 3 favorite luxury scents that i’ve been using for years! i also am trying out new backgrounds for my photos let me know what you think! thanks❣️ CHANEL - BLEU DE CHANEL Eau De Parfum this is my all time favorite scent, at the most expensive it’s chanel running at about $120 for this size, this bottle lasts me about 12 months and i buy a new one every year, you can get samples of any scents at sephora so i reccomennd going to try out different ones and getting samples of the ones you like to see how they wear on you throughout the day then deciding which ones to purchase YVES SAINT LAURENT - L'Homme Eau de Toilette this is my second favorite scent behind chanel and is ysl l’homme, this is my third time purchasing it, i like to switch my scents between mostly this one and chanel, it has a much more attractive smell and is very unisex, compared to the chanel which is more of less more of a *mens* fragrance, i love the ysl so much and it runs about $85 for this size and think everyone should try to i get so many compliments on this one and chanel DOLCE&GABBANA - Light Blue Pour Homme Eau de Toilette a staple scent that has been around for years me and my mom both wear this and other d&g light blue products, it’s a great everyday wear being cheaper than both the others, a great gift everyone loves light blue

My Must Have Complexion Tools
🤎 This one is easy for me because I just packed up all my makeup products for a cross country move and these are the two I left out for daily use. I love them, I need them, I use them all the time. 🤎 Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush: I’ll be the first to say I do not like Morphe as a brand. They are sketchy, their products are often horrible quality and overpriced, they destroyed any trust that ever existed between influencers and their audience, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love this brush. This has been my go to foundation brush for probably four years. I’ve owned a slew of other foundation brushes including much pricier ones, but this one continues to be the one I reach for the most. The bristles are tightly packed (but not so tightly packed that it blends my makeup away), the handle is the perfect size, and this blends my foundation in seconds. It’s great for smoothing full coverage, thicker foundations or for cream bronzers and blushes. I also use it for lighter coverage foundations and tinted sunscreens and moisturizers. Really just any cream or liquid complexion product this is my go to. 🤎 La Mer Powder Brush: If you were watching beauty YouTube in 2017 you’ve probably heard of this one. I remember seeing it in a Jaclyn Hill video and lusting after it for literal years and then seeing it in a Mel Thompson video and finally pulling the trigger. If the Morphe M439 is my go to for liquids and creams, this is my go to for powders. My favorite use for this is buffing a slightly luminous powder into the skin at the end of my complexion routine. This just gives a little glow, a little bit of an airbrushed finish, and ties everything together seamlessly. That being said I also use this for powder foundation (using the same buffing motion) and even bronzer. It’s soft and pleasant to use and just gives me the most seamless application and airbrushed finish. I absolutely love this brush.

some of my everyday favorites
Makeup You Can Wear While Peeling
I typically will not wear makeup while I’m going through post retinol peeling (SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 1.0 ) but I had a pretty important call for work and really need to put in the face-to-face with my customer, so video call was a must. I needed to look good, but limit items and stick to hydrating products. laura mercier - Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF30 - this blends so easily and hasn’t cling to my dry skin that hasn’t peeled off yet. Good coverage without the heavy feel of makeup. MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer - in the color neutralizer. This always looks so natural without being over the top, great for canceling out dark circles. CHANEL - SOLEIL TAN DE Bronzing Makeup Base - my favorite! Used for bronzing and a little on the lids for color. FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush - in rosé latte. I really love a good cream blush and this color is unique, rose and mocha mixed. I dabbed a little of this on my cheeks as well as my lips.. I will say it blends a little too well - you’ll blend it right off. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil & ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade - I use a combo of these two products since I’m started to experience brown thinning. True a true and will never let me down. WANDER BEAUTY - Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara - I love this mascara! I use it when I just need a little something. Doesn’t smear and comes off in flakes like the old Two Faced Lash Injection mascara before they reformulated it. Easy and not dramatic look. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter - easy and creamy highlighter. Blends well and leaves a natural glow. What are some good hydrating easy makeup recommendations you have?

My foundation collection 🥳
Here's a rundown of every foundation I have and my rating/opinion on them (the ones I've owned for quite a bit)! Enjoy :) MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation in 112 natural ivory - moves around a lot and isn't good for oily skin, since I found it to need lots of powder Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint in shades G10, 11 & 12 - they're tints, so don't expect full coverage - more like light-medium, you can build it up. I give them 4/5 stars bc they need to expand their shade range and bc I found I needed lots of powder to set this one. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation in 140C - I'm so impressed by this one and I love it. So worth it and the shade range is really good. A good long wearing foundation and I didn't have any issues. Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation in seashell & cloud - I mix them together to get my perfect shade, since cloud is too light and seashell is too dark. Def one of the best foundations (if not the best) ever made. COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation in 510/porcelain - too light but not a bad foundation, more of a skin tint and the smell kinda bothers me I have yet to try all these in a wear test: DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundationin 1 cool rosy ARMANI beauty - Luminous Silk Foundation in 3.75 HOURGLASS - Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stickin vanilla ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in 1C0 shell beautyblender - Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundationin 1.50 cool Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundationin 2 cool Next up to try: Fenty pro filt'r soft matte foundation and YSL all hours foundation - I have samples of both and I'm excited to try them
A bright spring look

Just wanted to share with you what I received from Il makiage and share my thoughts. It's a Italian makeup brand. Woke Up like this foundation- Lightweight texture, natural matte finish. Brow Factor long wear eyebrow gel - I can't get enough of it. Love it so much. It's so easy to apply and it stays on all day long. Brushes- handmade and of high quality. Easy to use. Applies very smooth. I highly recommend you add this brand to your makeup collection. It's so worth it.

L'ORÉAL-True Match Super-Blendable Foundation Makeup
8 hours of wear
First impression: very thick but very blendable! This is a FULL COVERAGE foundation, but when applied with a beauty blender, you can blend it out enough to be skin like. Great for all day wear, I’m a little shiny but nothing that can’t be fixed! No cracking or settling! I may not use this every single day, just because it’s so full coverage... but perfect for days I just need a little more :)

EVERYDAY SOFT GLAM MAKEUP
I love a soft glam look when i am going out during the day. I and this one is super simple. After i prime, color correct, and fill in my brows I like to put powder on before i put on my foundation and let it bake while i am applying my eyeshadow. It helps to absorb oils from my skin and keep my skin looking oil free throughout the day. I use laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Deep. I used SEPHORA COLLECTION - Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick to prime my eyes. I like this concealer for my eyeshadow primer because it is thick and pigmented so a little goes a long way to make my eyeshadow pop. For my eyeshadow I’m only using 2 colors. My CROP - Bio Metal Eyeshadow in guilded on my lid and the color “Busted” from the #Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette[products]#[FiveStars] in my crease. These 2 colors together give me a subtle glow. Im using mascara and edge brush as eyeliner because I ran out. I just rub the brush on the mascara applicator and then apply and I used the same mascara for my lashes. I used tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara I useLANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation in 530 Suede C. I used #IL Makiage - F*ck I’m Flawless Multi-use Perfecting Concealer[products]#[FourStars] in shade 14.5 and L'ORÉAL - Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer in 440 Truffle to contour I used nyx NYX - Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette to highlight Set with MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray Matte Finish i like to set before i apply my contour and highlight and after to help with oil. And to complete the look i use my favorite nine lipstick MAC - Lustre Lipstick in the shade Hug Me. #CheriePartner

Get a slimmer face with contouring!
The secret to achieving a more defined face is using a solid contour shade to match your skin tone. If you have a more olive skin tone like me, and are struggling to find the right bronzer then keep reading. A lot of people were recommending this “Too cool for school” bronzer in the Artclass range by Rodin - and seeing as I’d been having trouble finding a decent contour palette, I decided to give it a go . This contour palette comes in 3 different shades and a mirror which makes for easy application. I found these shades surprisingly easy to blend into the face, making it great for creating definition to the natural contours of the face. Depending on how strong of a contour you want to go for, you can choose one the lightest contour, a medium and the darkest contour. Personally, I like to use the lightest shade to contour along the sides of my nose to give the appearance of a taller nose bridge. I go for the darkest shade just under my cheekbones on the sides of my face to give my face a little more definition. Unlike most other contour powders I’ve used previously, the colour of this contour powder is a warm brown without any hint of a brassy orange (which I absolutely love) . Also I’m quite particular about face products in general (including makeup) as I have quite sensitive skin. This contour powder hasn’t irritated or bothered my skin in any way which also makes it a plus. Overall my favourite contour powder i’ve used so far and I feel like it’s going to be hard to beat.
