BEST DETANGLER !! ❤️
I have long, wavy hair (about 18") plus it's also very fine, tangles super easily and is difficult to tame. BUT this detangler makes it look like my hair wasn't even tangled in the first place. Also, the time between the before and after photos was about a minute, since this stuff saves time and you don't have to yank on tangles with your brush. I absolutely love this product and if I don't use it after every time I shampoo, then my hair is a wreck. Literally this product is what keeps my hair healthy, plus I don't have to pull my hair out anymore. N。4 - Lumiere D'hiver Super Comb Prep and Protect

Cantu leave in - Holy Grail for Curls
In the post about my hair routine, I mentioned this product. I wanted to save this for last because the best for last of course! The other two products mentioned I haven’t been using for too long but for this product I have been using it for about 3 years! It was complete game changer for me! I wanted to start this off by first telling you a little bit about my hair journey! Now both of my parents have thick curly hair, so there was no way I was going to get out of that one. When I was younger, my hair was wild, I got so many flyaways (and still do! So if you have any recs...) I looked like Einstein. It would take forever to comb with ALL the knots. I used to be jealous of other girls with sleek straight low maintenance hair as this is a more common hair type for South Asians. After I cut my hair in middle school my hair got BIGGER and curlier, I would just put it into a ponytail or bun, it would get all matted and took years to comb out plus the PAIN. In high school, I started doing my hair open. After my hair dried during wash day, I would put lotion in it (body lotion) and do 3 braids into a bigger braid into a bun and slept in that. When I was getting ready for school, I would untie and slap on a ton of mousse and gel into it. My curls were defined in the front but areas I didn’t reach were poofy and frizzy (possibly my hair crying for help). Freshman and some of sophomore year of college, I straightened my hair every week to go to school (blow dry AND flat iron). To top it all my hair wasn’t very damaged? Aside from split ends, my hair was fine, amazingly. Around the middle of sophomore I wore my hair curly, I used some products I don’t remember and Shea Moisture. Then I discovered Cantu’s leave in conditioner. This was before I discovered scrunching and pulsing so when I slathered it on, I was shocked to see how effective it was! My curls looked so well defined and this look lasted many days afterwards when I tied it in a loose bun. I have used this leave in conditioner with both argan oil and shea butter and I haven’t really seen a difference between the two? I use this after I shampoo and condition. I usually take it in and scrunch and pulse and then wring my hair of extra water. I edited this picture for clarity to show you how my curls looked at the end of the day after I washed it today. My curls are defined with very minimal frizz! I don’t feel grease or sticky residue left over from the product nor do i find any strong scent from it. I can not recommend this product enough. However..I must give you a warning. Cantu is not a black owned brand, if that’s one thing you’re looking for keep that in mind. I’ve seen some people in the natural hair community cancelling this product, saying it’s drying. This hasn’t been the case for me (if down the road it turns out to be I will make an updated post). So I urge you to research and test the product before actual use and hopefully it works for you the way it has for me!

I’m Torn 💦
I’m always looking for the miracle hair treatment that’s going to magically transform my hair into luscious locks befitting a Disney fairytale. I came close to loving this product. Close, but no go for me. This first problem I had with it is it’s water... obviously it’s in the name. But it’s hard to get onto my hair. I end up just pouring it onto my hair and hoping for the best. It’s not a cream that I can easily work evenly through the ends of my hair. Also in my cons category it does make my hair fall out more than usual so there’s something in the formula that my hair just doesn’t jive with. On the plus side: my hair does seem smoother and shiner. It doesn’t do much for my frizz- so I still use my frizz control products. But my hair does look healthier using this product. Which was what I was going for since I haven’t been in for a trim in waaaay too long. This product warms when it activates which was kind of alarming the first time I used it, but it’s right on the bottle that it does that. So it’s perfectly normal, and feels kinda good once you get used to it. So while it won’t be a repurchase for me I did like the look of my hair while using this.

🚨 Product Review 🚨
I was very intrigued by the @remiliahair hair treatment capsules and they have very much surprised me. ⠀ These Keratin capsules made in Italy include Vitamin B5 & Amino acids that help to repair dry and damaged hair. ⠀ I use these capsules 2-3 times a week to give my hair a little boost but you can use them daily. ⠀ Another aspect that I love is the packaging of these capsules. They are so easy to use with just a twist off top and they are biodegradable! ⠀ Overall I think these capsules are not only a great concept but really help to nourish and hydrate your hair.Remilia HAIR - The Cosmocap Daily Hair Serum

At home hair treatment! 💆🏽♀️
✨ If you’re like me, then you’re probably a little sad that most hair salons are closed due to the pandemic. It’s around this time each year that I go in for a curly trim, and hair treatment. But since I am unable to book an appointment with my stylist, I’m trying to take care of my hair in the best way possible to ensure optimal health of my curls. 💇🏽♀️ One of the things I making sure to do is deep conditioning treatments. Let me walk you through a quick step-by-step on how I make this treatment a bit more intense while at home. 🧚🏽 1. Wash your hair like normal; if I’m deep conditioning, I take advantage of that wash day and try to clarify my hair and scalp. 🧖🏻♀️ 2. Add deep conditioning mask/treatment to your hair, starting from your roots going up. Pin your hair into a bun. PACIfICA - Pineapple Hydrate Curl Nourishing Mask 3. Pop on a clear shower cap over your head. #KINGLAKE - Clear Disposable Plastic Shower Caps[products]#[FiveStars] 4. DO NOT RINSE OUR YET! ⚠️ continue your shower as normal. 5. Place regular shower cap on top, once you’re out of the shower. This will allow your natural body heat to warm up your hair/head and the caps will keep the heat trapped in. If you want a more intense heating process, you can use a blow dryer to increase heating process. CONAIR - Printed Shower Cap With Microban 6. Leave on for 35-45mins and then rinse. 7. Style as usual 💛 What’s your current favorite at-home treatments? 💆🏽♀️ #CheriePartner ‼️ I know the disposable shower caps aren’t the best for the environment; would love to know if anyone recommends alternatives 🌟

The perfect treatment for coarse hair [B&A Images]
Nashi Argan Beauty Treatment Vitality’s Intensive Nutriactive Mask Do you know witch hair? This is how my hair looks (and feels) if I don’t style it or use some sort of magic on it. And it’s so annoying, especially during summer when I’m in no mood to spend hours in the bathroom styling my hair just before going out to the beach or the pool. This is the reason I’ve been looking for a solution for my course hair that doesn’t involve using thermal treatments. And what I discovered is that my hair becomes very manageable, soft and lustrous when I use a repairing hair mask. I love most Vitality’s Intesive Nutriactive Mask. My hair stylist recommended it and the first few times I bought it from the salon, now I just order it online. The hair mask smells amazingly good and it’s so rich and luxurious in texture, it’s a pleasure to apply it. What I do is wash my hair with the shampoo and then apply the hair mask. I usually let it on for 5-10 minutes, while I use a scrub on the body or something. If I don’t have the time, I left it on for just a minute or two, then I rinse well with lots of warm water. I don’t apply the mask to the roots, just from halfway down to the tips. And this alone is enough to make my hair shiny and absolutely adorable looking. However, nowadays I started also using a hair treatment most of the times. The reason I’ve chosen Nashi Argan is (once again) my hairstylist who strongly recommended it for coarse hair. It helps me detangle my hair faster and the hair also seems to get dry sooner when I use the treatment. And the smell lasts for a while in the hair, which is really great especially if you have a hot date coming up soon!
