liquid vs solid highlighters✨✨

hello everyone! today i am comparing two similar face/body highlighters with two different consistencies! these are both great products but they do have different purposes. to start, the liquid glow oil from sol body in the shade “platinum” is a beautiful light gold shimmer. this color is best for pale people, but they make glow oils in many different colors. you can use it for your face, even though it works better on your body. the shimmers are very fine yet very sparkly, and the catch the sunlight. its like a very fine glitter. its very easy to spread around, but can rub off on clothes easier than the powder ones✨ the powder highlighter is equally stunning. its also a white- gold shade thats better for pale people. it looks “wet” on the skin, and lasts longer but is harder to spread. either way, both highlighters are beautiful, though powder is easier to use on the face! lemme know what you think and dont forget to follow and cheer!❤️ SOL BODY - SOL Glow Oil

aesthetic succulent and garden collection!🌵🍇🌹
hello everyone! today i am showcasing an amazing collection from colourpop! yall probably think i work for them by now because of how much i post about them, but im just a huge fan of color, themes, packaging, glitter and shimmer shades, and affordability!😊💖 so this collection is $135. BUT, it comes with 19 items total! it has 4 pressed powder blushes, 4 jelly much shadows, 4 lux lip oils, a palette, a sol body glow oil, 2 fourth ray beauty facial sprays, and three scrunchies!!😍 lets start with the palette! the palette is really gorgeous and all the colors i have played with so far i have really loved!🌸 i have done many looks with it and ive found it very versatile. if you are more a natural person, it works great, and if you like glam and creativity like me, this is also for you! unfortunately, im unsure of how this would work for darker skin tones. if you have deeper skin and love more natural and light makeup, then you might like this! but if you like glam and have deeper skin, i would recommend the all that palette, the mulan palette, the disney palettes, and the bare necessities palette! they are all by colourpop:) now to the blushes! so these blushes are really great! they’re actually super pigmented and look amazing. i especially love the purple one! ive never had a purple blush so its new to me🦄 these blushes also have shimmer so the lip oils feel amazing, but they have almost no color unless you apply A LOT. they are really nourishing, but you can barely see any color. i was kinda disappointed because i was looking foward to the purple one especially. i feel like it they made them much darker it would have shown up better! the jelly much shadows are a win, though. they’re really pigmented and are very... jelly like😂. they apply with a glittery finish, and the one called “sage bundle” has a blue shift to it! apply these with care, because they dont really blend and are meant as a lid topper. the glow oil is one of my favorite products! this one is a little dark, but it doesnt change my skin color too much. it has beautiful gold glitters in it and i feel like a million bucks wearing it✨ the facial sprays... i dont know if they do anything 😂 obviously skin care products take a while to work. one of the sprays has shimmer in it that kinda makes my skin glow... so😂 the scruncies are really nice! they are velvety and nice and big, which is great because i have super thick hair! so thats it! lemme know if you will be buying anything from this collection and dont forget to follow and cheer! follow my insta @aesthetemilyy #CheriePartner COLOURPOP - Garden Variety Eyeshadow Palette COLOURPOP - Jelly Much Shadow COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Oil Fourth Ray - Misty Morning Face Mist Mini Kit SOL BODY - SOL Glow Oil

EASY zoom glam!
hello everyone! today i am sharing with you all what i do to look good on a zoom call! personally, im not a fan of natural makeup. i get the point and i know its trendy, but i am actually an artist on the side and love to be artistic with makeup too. i would rather stand out than fit in! but, i know that glam can be hard, so i made this look a pretty easily achievable one. this took me about 20 minutes, which isnt very long since were all staying at home! i dont use zoom for work, but i have for college. i think this makeup would work for work if you didnt use such a bright lipstick. but, because im a college student, i can have fun with makeup and not worry about pointless professionalism. 😊 also, cameras and computers can sometimes wash you out and make your eyes look smaller, so i think intense eye makeup helps your eyes look bigger and brighter✨☺️ so, here are the products and tips for easy zoom glam! face: i used SOAP & GLORY - The Fab Pore 3-In-1 Oil Control Serum because it blurs the skin, but use whatever is best for your skin type. i personally have excessively oily skin and this works well for me! COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer this keeps your skin looking like skin while hiding redness! i am using the shade fair 2w e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer i use a matte concealer under the eyes and on my fore head to help mattify my skin e.l.f. - High Definition Powder i use this to set and make my skin super matte ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer i use this in the shade cappuccino to help warm my skin COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush i use a dark pink blush called “whole nine yards” to make sure i dont look washed out on camera! e.l.f. - Retro Paradise Multi-Dimensional Face & Body Shimmer i use this to make myself glow!✨ eyes: PLOUISE - Base Shade i love this! its a really great eye primer that prevents creasing and also covers the veins in your eye lids. it also makes eyeshadow stand out more! HUDA BEAUTY - Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette i dont think ill EVER get over how amazing this palette is! you can do many things with it. i used the browns and a pearlized gold shade to make my eyes stand out and look huge! L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara this mascara really does lift your lashes and make them look long, but its a little clumpy:( lips: Lime Crime - Velvetine Metallic Lipstick this lip stick is absolutely stunning and so pigmented! it looks so metallic too. i used this to add a pop of color to this look and really make me stand out. a bold lip will always make you look glam! my only complaint about this is that its very dry dont forget to follow and cheer! 😊 #CheriePartner

This is one of my favorite affordable brands, they always have sales so every product is always $5 or less. I ordered 2 of the ”all about matt” pressed powder, it’s one of my holy grails. It’s a really nice powder, it sets my makeup, and one of my fave things is it gives me a matte look without my face looking dry. essence - All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder The gel nail polish are super cute. They’re cheap and last a while too! I usually do 2 coats of color then a top coat and it last me about 2-3 weeks. Obviously if you do a lot of hands on things it’ll last a bit less. essence - Shine Last & Go! Gel Nail Polish The satin touch blushes are really nice. They’re really buildable so if you want a nice flush of color or really pigment cheeks, it’s totally doable. essence - Shine Last & Go! Gel Nail Polish I ordered 2 of the cutest eyeliner pens I’ve seen. I haven’t tried these so I’m excited to see how they are. The green one is called “mint rebel” and the yellow one is called “young & free”. Both colors are pastel. 🌸🌼 essence - Eyeliner Pen Longlasting

I love this highlighter so much, you guys! Everyone should run out and buy a round for themselves! This is the ELF baked blush in apricot, and it’s a beautiful peachy-gold shimmer on my darker skin tone! It’s super buttery and really blends in well with my skin even if I’m not wearing any foundation! I like to use this with my fingers over a creamier liquid highlighter for a really blinding glow, or just with my fingers into my bare cheekbones for a more lit-from-within look. Overall, I’m so impressed with the quality of all the ELF products I’ve tried so far and can’t wait to try more! #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

must have tools for your makeup kit!✨
must have tools for your makeup kit!✨
hello everyone! today i am showcasing the tools i use every day to create glam or everyday makeup looks☺️ these tools are very common and affordable so you will be able to get them easily! also, i will make sure to include how beginners can use these tools incase you dont know how😊 first of all, the best tool you could ever buy is a beauty blender. you can get one almost anywhere for like $5-$10! they aren’t actually a new concept either, as makeup sponges have been around for a very long time. the difference between these and a triangle sponge is that the triangle ones are usually disposable, and these you can use for a long time. the concept of a beauty blender is that its dense enough to apply the product yet porous enough to soak up excess product on the skin to make sure your skin is flawless! this beauty blender i have is really nice although it is off brand and i dont know where i bought it🥺 it is very dirty but it is sanitary ☺️ i use this everyday to blend foundation and concealer next is a foundation brush! there are a few different kinds. one kind is very dense flat tip brushes that you can use to “paint” foundation on. i dont like these because they dont blend, they just apply. so, i use a flat tip brush also know as a kabuki brush to apply foundation. you can stipple the product into your skin to blend, and also apply powder with it. i got this brush from amazon, and the brand is called “Lamora”. now to the fluffy brush! a big, fluffy brush can have all kinds of uses. technically, there are particular makeup brushes for every tip of product, but a big fluffy brush is very versatile and can replace the need for many brushes. i use this brush to apply powder, blush, bronzer, and occasionally highlighter. make sure to dust the excess product on the back of your hand so you dont mix your products! my sister gave me this brush when i was like ten 😂 now to one of my favorite products- an eyeshadow blending brush! creating eyeshadow looks can be difficult for beginners, so it’s important to have a good quality blending brush. you dont even have to have a flat tip brush for shades on the lid, as you can use your finger if you like. but for matte shades in the crease, make sure to have a fluffy brush to blend as much as possible! i got my brush from amazon, but i am not sure what the brand is🥺 last but not least- tweezers and a brow brush! i have the opposite problem of a lot of women- my eyebrows can be TOO thick! they grow everywhere and very fast! so, i need tweezers. also, tweezers can be used to apply false lashes! i found them handy the one time i ever wore false lashes when i did my e girl look😂😊 the brow brush is also important because it helps you shape your eyebrows and place the hairs where you want them! i got these two in a set from ulta, from the ulta beauty brand. Comparing Sponge and Brush cleansers! ✨
Comparing Sponge and Brush cleansers! ✨
SEPHORA COLLECTION - Detox: Deep-Cleaning Brush Shampoo I’ve had this bottle for a while and it definitely lasts but I don’t feel like it works as well and I find myself settling with “it’s clean enough” more than I’d like That’s why I even splurged on the refresh spray but even when using both products I have makeup on my brushes and sponges beautyblender - Blendercleanser Solid I got a mini lavender one with my points and FELL IN LOVE after one use It took if not all of my make up off my brushes and sponges i would say it took off 90% 👌🏽👌🏽👏🏽 Definitely worthy the money I went ahead and bought a few other beauty blender items and stocked up on the lavender solid cleanser I saw they have a non scented and feel like I would have gotten that if I hadn’t had the lavender sample already But the main reason I got lavender was because the scent is so light and I’m a non fragrance kind of girl but this is a clean brand so I’m trusting them

My problem with: Bare Minerals Shade Range
My problem with: Bare Minerals Shade Range
Bare Minerals was the first non-drug store makeup brand I ever bought from, so now that I’ve gotten more into makeup and tried more brands, I want to reflect on how good this concealer is all around. I really love how easy it is to blend it out without using too much, that’s my favorite my favorite part about this product. My main problem with this concealer is that there are only six shades. I’m lucky so the lightest one fits me, but when I try to get my friends into makeup I usually can’t recommend them this product because it only matches six skin tones. In conclusion: If it had more shades, it would definitely be five stars.

SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND - MY HIGHLIGHT FAVS
SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND - MY HIGHLIGHT FAVS
The “Glass Skin” look has become popular lately, but I’ve always been a fan of blinding people with my highlight. Here are a list of my favorite highlighters. All of them are super pigmented so a little goes a long way! ✨COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Birthday Boy - this is an eyeshadow that I like to add to my highlight. It is an iridescent shadow with tiny pieces of glitter. This is buildable to create a high shine look, you can add it to another highlight to add glitter, and I also like to use it when I’m going for a subtle glow. ✨Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Do Not Disturb - I think Colourpop discontinued this highlighter. It is a rich gold highlighter. I like to use this when I am wearing warmer tones in my eyeshadow like reds and oranges because it has a warm undertone. ✨Primark Havana Palette - I got this palette from Primark forever ago and it is my go to highlighter. I am wearing it in the photo of me in this post. It gives a high shine glow. I like to mix the highlighter and bronzer shades together. The palette also has a pink blush and a contour. It has cool undertones. You can only purchase Primark products in store and there are very limited stores in North America but NYX strobe genius has similar shades, they are pretty much dupes. Everything in Primark is super inexpensive. This palette was $7 ✨NYX - Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette - i love this palette . It has so many different hues. All of the shades have a cool undertone and are super pigmented. It includes pink, gold, and purple shades. I love to mix and match these highlighters. sometimes I even use them as eyeshadow. This palette is $20 at Ulta. ✨DECK OF SCARLET - Illuminating Glow Drops in Copper - These super potent illuminating drops work great on its own as a highlighter but can also be mixed with your foundation for a dewy glow. If you’re going to use it on its own you need less than one drop this little tube will last you forever! I wouldn’t recommend this to people with oily skin it. It is a thick liquid highlight and could make your skin look a bit greasy. This would work better for people with normal to dry skin. #CheriePartner
