swatches of a galaxy 🌌 palette!🌏💫😍
hello everyone! today i am reviewing and swatching the galaxy chic palette by bhcosmetics! this brand is very affordable, and i would say that their appeal is their presentation, packaging, and themes. obviously, this palette is galaxy and spaced themed❤️ the packaging and presentation of this palette is stunning. it has many marbled shadows that look gorgeous and blend nicely when swatched. also, all of the colours are very shimmery! i liked the color scheme of this palette, although i will say some of the blues are pretty similar. again, i think its more for presentation than practicality. the shadows themselves felt pretty smooth and blendable, although they were definitely not as pigmented as other similar palettes i have tried. they didnt quite pop out as much as they do in the palette overall, i think this is a pretty decent palette. its not life changing, but it does have some really cool colors🌈 lemme know what you think and dont forget to follow and cheer!😊❤️ bh - Galaxy Chic

the most impressive eyeshadow palette i’ve used
BH COSMETICS. HOLY SHIT. So, recently i was gifted both the bh - Take Me Back to Brazil 35 Color Pressed Pigment Palette and bh - Zodiac 25 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette i had never used anything by BH before. so. Take Me Back To Brazil (not featured in any of my pictures) is a beautiful vibrant palette with colors that i, unfortunately, will not use. they are pigmented and bright and beautiful but not colors i am comfortable using yet (that is the only reason it has 4 stars, the quality is amazing.) Zodiac has totally shocked me. pictured here are two looks i’ve done with shadows from the pallet (Gemini, Pisces, Virgo and Scorpio, and their unnamed matte adjacent colors.) they are velvety, blendable, and incredibly pigmented. every time i pick up this pallet i walk away with a beautiful eye look. these colors could be used for high glamour looks, or everyday looks. i have never had such success with a pallet before. i strongly recommend this to ANYBODY who’s trying to break into the eyeshadow game. i hope anyone that reads this tries it out because i adore this pallet!

Smoke show☝️ black eyeshadow that doesn’t budge.
MORPHE - Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Palette Volume II Created this Smokey eye with little effort and with little to no fall out on my face. Build the shadow up slowly, blending in between each layer, creating a seamless blend and a Smokey effect. The duo chrome shimmer topper didn’t need any glitter primer and went on like butter and didn’t flake off! Definitely a great palette- quality is great and very affordable! - Have you tried this one?

What Hogwarts house are you? 🐍
I can’t be the only one who was super pumped when Ulta released a Harry Potter collection! I’ve always identified as a Slytherin. I’ve taken the Pottermore quiz twice and got Slytherin both times. What house do you identify with and what house did Pottermore give you? Tell me below! I want to know! The one thing I picked up from the collection (which took a lot of restraint) was the ULTA BEAUTY - Harry Potter X Beauty Slytherin Eye Shadow Palette . I wasn’t expecting much as I don’t care much for the Ulta Beauty collection (ironically) but I was absolutely shocked when I swatched these. If I could show the snapchat of my initial reaction swatching these I would but I didn’t save it nor was it appropriate 😂 These are so insanely pigmented. I was super shocked as well when I started blending colors together are how uniform and well they blend out. I think Ulta hit the nail on the head when it comes to formula with this collection. The mattes are very pigmented and the shimmers are very bold. I think the only shade that’s lack luster is the bone shade in the top left but I mainly use that to set my base anyways so it doesn’t matter. The packaging is also very, very stunning for an Ulta Beauty collection. I know at my location we’ve already run out of the palettes so if you see them in store I would snatch one up. They are well worth the $16. Did anyone buy anything else from the collection as well? 🖤 #CheriePartner

cheap covergirl pallet
COVERGIRL - TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette i absolutely love this pallet. it’s very pigmented and cheap. for only 10 dollars you get 8 very pigmented shades and a little applicator. i threw mine away because i personally ended up using it for sfx makeup and it ruined it. but it was very durable and the only reason it was ruined was because of sfx glue that wouldn’t wash out. i would 100% recommend this pallet to everyone who’s looking for a cheap reliable pallet :) i use the shimmer shades for highlighter because they’re really shimmery and beautiful.

Obsessed with this palette!
So, I have lots of eyeshadow palettes. I mean upwards to 50. I wasn’t going to get this palette but I’m so happy I did. At twelve dollars you get nine shades. Four Mattes, three shimmers and two Mattes with glitter. I’m VERY impressed and in my opinion, one of the best palettes Colourpop has ever made! The shimmers are the star of the show! The mattes blend beautifully, and the glitter mattes aren’t so intense you can’t use it as a transition shade. There’s a cool toned dark brown shade called Da Coco and it’s everything. You can do night and day looks with this palette very easily. It’s very beginner friendly also, which I like because I bought two more to give to friends because they have birthdays coming up! If you are interested in buying, I promise you will not regret it. COLOURPOP - Going Coconuts

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
