Konjac sponges and why you need one
Konjac sponges are my favorite facial cleansing tool. And I’m honestly surprised to not see them all over Cherie. I’ve used them for maybe 8 years now and I thought they would be more popular. My favorite is the charcoal one but you can find other colors the have other benefits. But they “benefits” only last so long because they was out. You’re cleansers will be extra foamy while using this miracle sponge and it’s also great at removing makeup! These little sponges are vegan and 100% compostable when you remove the string for hanging. They pretty much buff your face while you’re cleansing I never use my hands to wash my face, konjac sponge or nothing! It’s made completely from konjac root, they were initially made for a gentle sponge to use on baby skin so it’s even great for sensitive skin. Since they’re made from a root they do start to break down naturally after about 3 months and have to be changed out but they’re really not that expensive if you buy them from amazon, i use the brand Mayberry health and home. It’s a pack of 6 dehydrated individually wrapped for 16$ You have to be careful and make so you don’t buy pre-hydrated ones because they can harbor bacteria. And they only take about 5 minutes to re-hydrate under running water You’re welcome!
Affordable Tools for an Everyday Makeup Look
Hi, So these are the tools that I tend to use for my EVERYDAY look. When I say this, I do not do contouring and do not include eyeshadow tools, and I tend to not use blush unless I go to work (been working from home since COVID, which is why I didn’t add the tool that I use for adding blush). I also mean that these are not the same tools that I use for a fuller (contouring, eyeshadow, etc) makeup look. The tools that I use for that are more expensive and definitely include many more tools. These tools have worked so far, so great with me, so I’m sharing them. ecoTOOLS - Full Powder Brush I’m defenitely thinking of buying other tools to try them out since I love their philosophy! ecoTOOLS’ products are completely vegan, and they are diminishing waste production by increasing the amount of material that is harmful with their introduction of biodegradable paper! This tool particularly feels sturdy and soft, even throughout the multiple washes that it has gone through. This is what I use to add colored powder, since the translucent or setting powder come with their own tool. beautyblender - BCRF I tend to use this to blend the concealer and for those regions that may need a fuller foundation coverage due to some dark spots. The sponge has been great so far, no complains whatsoever. The size is great and has lasted, even with the regular washes. e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush I love e.l.f. due to the affordability of its products while still delivering pretty good quality! The bristles in this tool feel particularly soft and I do feel that it glides on to your face so smoothly! I do feel that part of the reasoning for why my foundation has lasted so long is because I have used it with this tool. A little goes a long way honestly! It also does give that seamless look!
Save Myself with $8.5!
Starting in 2020, the world has begun to be messed up by the epidemic. We have to be safe and wear masks when we go shopping, go to work, and go to school. This leads to a problem. Every time we take off the mask, we find that all the makeup we put on before going out is rubbed on the mask. This is a very bad thing! So in my opinion, How to Get Flawless Base Makeup means a complete base makeup at this special stage, it will not be rubbed on the mask, and it can also remain intact after a day of work and study. NYX - Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray$8.5 I have a very typical oily skin, and when I bought base makeup products, if the effect is not good, then the makeup I painted in the morning would disappear at noon. Because after trying many products, I found one that is very good. According to statistics, this NYX MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY is 1 setting spray in America. It can make makeup stay long-lasting and matte. All I have to do is to use this makeup setting spray, but in a different way. First shake, spray, and set it, then I hold the bottle two inches from the sponge, spray over. Next, apply the base makeup product on the face and press it with the moist sponge. In this way, the base makeup product is firmly pressed on the face in the first step, and even if oil is released, it will not take off. This method is a life-saving weapon for people with oily skin. In this way, there will be no problem with makeup in the morning until at night, and it will still look good.

IS NYX’S MATTE SETTING SPRAY ANY GOOD?
So everyone may know about NYX Cosmestics right? The Google description states: “DescriptionNYX Professional Makeup is an American cosmetics company that is a subsidiary of L'Oréal. The company was founded in Los Angeles by Toni Ko in 1999. It was named after Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night.“ Wow, cool! Named after a Greek goddess! No wonder why I’m attracted to the brand. Plus their products are drugstore and fall under a price range of a few dollars to $40 for larger palettes. I own a few NYX staples in my makeup bag and I have plenty of radiant/dewy setting sprays in my stash. I decided to try out this matte craze that’s more popular in the west than the east. If you have oily skin or live in a humid climate, matte is the way to go. If you have dry skin or live in a dry climate, dewy can look appropriate. • NYX - Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray I have no rating yet on this because I am not sure how I feel about it. I’ve sprayed it a few times on my shiny face, but I have not seen a difference yet. It’s priced at $8.50 USD and the only thing concerning about this matte setting spray is that it contains propylene glycol, which is known to be used as antifreeze for planes. Uhm. • It has an average 4.5/5 review on sites and honestly, maybe I’m just not using this correctly? Like when I spray some setting sprays, I don’t see it go on evenly and see spots of liquid. Is there anything I’m doing wrong? Plus, I got dry skin, so putting an additive like propylene glycol makes me think this could dry my skin or irritate it. Anyone else have their experiences with this spray? I’ll keep using this to my looks and update the post when I see any effects or can judge the results. See you all soon 💫

Morphe x Jeffree Star Sponge Trio
MORPHE - The Jeffree Star Beauty Sponge Trio I got these beauty sponges as a gift from a friend. I never use any sponge except my lovely and trusty beautyblender but I decided to try it out! I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t absorb much product, less than the beautyblender and it’s nice to blend with. What I will say though is that it’s a little stiffer, a little less gentle on the skin??? More like it’s hitting the skin on top instead of adapting to the shape of e.g my cheek. Like a beautyblender is softer so it’s less rigid. But these worked well! I actually recommend them wow! And $16 is real good for three
MORPHE-The Jeffree Star Beauty Sponge Trio
❤️What are the claims? •Beauty Blender - An edge less, non Disposable, high definition cosmetic sponge applicator. •Morphe Contour Sponge - Perfect the art of contouring & highlighting & everything else with this coveted beauty sponge. ❤️Texture/Density? •Beauty blender - Smooth, super soft •Morphe - super smooth, medium soft ❤️My thoughts? These are some of my favorite makeup tools. I love using a beauty sponge to blend out my liquid, cream & powder face products. I love using them to blend out my base flawlessly, & it stays all day! I always wash them before I use them , and make sure they are damp. I prefer the beauty blender sponge to blend out my concealer & foundation. The Morphe sponge I like to use to set my under eyes, to bake & to contour with setting powder. They both work bomb & both can be used both with powder & liquid but I like the bb for liquid & Morphe for powder. I use beauty blender in my makeup kit as well, for contour & liquid! It’s my favorite tool to apply foundation with, no matter the skin type. ❤️Price? •Beauty Blender is $20 & replace every 3-4 months •Morphe Sponge is $8 & replace every 4-5 months Morphe sponge is defiantly cheaper & the quality is bomb! I would recommend that one over the beauty blender also since it has a precision side to contour. But they are defiantly both worth their price tags! beautyblender - beautyblender Single Sponges MORPHE - Highlight + Contour Beauty Sponge
