My favorite solid tinted moisturizers that every girl must have!!
When we mentioned base makeup, having a natural, perfect look is what we are constantly looking for. Balmy autumn days make our mood better but keeping our face moisturizing is still really important. The new wave of solid tinted moisturisers, are ideal, which both protect your skin without flaw but also give you a natural base makeup. What we love about them most, is the beautiful, natural finish they give, for the days you want a to look low key, or barely have to do anything. Here, are two of the best solid tinted moisturizers that I do recommend to you during autumn and winter seasons. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I have an oily t-zone with (what I feel are) large pores. For me, this genuinely blurs more pores. I don't look poreLESS, but I see a significant improvement and that makes me happy. I use this over my t-zone and i blend it out a bit with my fingers after application. Perhaps this is a bit overpriced, but the full-sized stick is a huge stick, and can be used for a longtime, so that becomes more cost-efficient. In name at least, this warrants a mention. It’s pigment free, so comes in one shade. In some ways, it’s difficult to know if it truly does anything at all. But then in other ways, you look in the mirror whilst wearing it and see an angel staring back. Make of that what you will. NUDESTIX - Nudies Tinted Blur Stick This product has a slightly harder and waxier texture than the Milk, but once warmed with fingers it can be melted into skin for a stunningly dewy finish. It is also all organic and chemical free. It’s very blurring like the name suggests but it also evens out the skin. It’s really lightweight and sheer but you can build up the coverage without a problem. This foundation honestly made my skin look very healthy and dewy and I adore it. It lasts a long time on the skin, even when I sweat. This solid tinted moisturizer also gives the look of a tinted primer, but can be applied in seconds. It feels fairly silicone to the touch, but is incredibly lightweight on the skin.

Flawless base makeup
Milk makeup, is it worth it?
Over the past couple years I’ve really wanted to try out milk makeup and I thought the brands aesthetic was so pretty/ minimal. It’s perfect for a quick on the go person or someone who wants to look glam. Hydro grip primer, this is really good. It has become of my fave ones to use. It provides a great base for my foundation or even for my bb cream. It’s feel kinda like gel but not thick. Spreads easily and has a slight tackiness, also leaves my skin moisturized. The only downside is the smell, it’s kinda like a plastic/agave scent mixed together. The scent does fade which is great so it doesn’t linger around. $30 for 1.52 oz and $15 for 0.33 oz Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Kush mascara, this one is in my top 5 fave ones to use. The bristles coat my lashes nicely and make them appear thicker. Doesn’t have a strong scent. When I apply them to my bottom lashes they don’t smudge onto my skin. $24 for 0.34 oz/10 ml and $12 for 0.13 oz/4 ml Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Tattoo stamp in star, it’s super cute! I’ve had this well over a year and it’s still pretty pigmented. I use this on my lids, cheeks and anywhere on my face to give me that cute vibe. It lasts all day and hasn’t smudged on me. $12 and they come in lots of designs. Milk MAKEUP - Tattoo Stamp Kush lip balm in plushberry, it’s a sheer berry color. Moisturizes my lips and gives them a super cute tint. I’m definitely more into sheer colors and glosses. It has a slight minty scent to it that I love. $16 for 3g Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm Kush clear brow gel, it sets my brows nicely but it isn’t a strong hold. It’s more of medium. Doesn’t have a distinct smell which is good. $20 which is pretty expensive. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel Holographic stick in supernova, I really like this. It pretty creamy and I like applying this with my fingers. Looks super cute as an eyeshadow as well. It’s more of a duochrome. It has a purple/blueish shift. I wish it had a bit more pigment in it. Currently on sale at Sephora for $18 for the full size 1 oz/28 g. Mini size $15 for 0.25 oz/7.1 g Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick Watermelon brightening serum, this was ok. Wasn’t my favorite. It feels nice on the skin, kinda moisturizing but I didn’t see any brightening effect. $36 for 1.2 oz/ 34g and $18 for 0.22 oz/ 6.25 g. Personally not worth the money. Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum Cooling water stick, same as the watermelon serum and this wasn’t my favorite. Yes it moisturized a little bit but I saw no difference in my skin. Too expensive to buy and not worth the money for me. If you have the money for an overpriced “serum” go ahead and get this but just save your money for something else. Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water Blur stick definitely not worth it. Bunched up too much. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick
Flawless Face Canvas Primer Must Have!
Ever found a product you didn’t know you needed until you found it? Well this is one of those unexpected beauty products I instantly became obsessed with when it was given this product as a gift. The Blur Stick is used as a matte primer but it can also be used as a highlighter for the cheeks and eyes. I love a product that can be used for more than one purpose and this one did it for me. Milk Makeup Blur Stick: Is It Worth It? When you’re on the hunt for a perfect primer to conceal pores, blemishes, and other uneven spots, and create a perfect starting base before doing your makeup, Milk’s Blur Stick is definitely worth the hype. It basically eliminates the appearance of pores totally without clogging them, conceals uneven marks and skin tone, helps balance texture, and creates the perfect base canvas to begin a makeup application. I noticed when using it that makeup lasted longer throughout the day, stayed in place for longer with less smudges and spilling, and generally appeared more radiant and even after using Blur Stick. Because I like a glow and dewy look for my makeup the best part was that it added a glow to my skin before adding my foundation however it can also be used alone for a luminous glow to the skin without makeup. For those who are prone to more oily or combination skin, Blur Stick also helps with shine control and preventing oily patches which can lead to smudging or the need for more powder during the day. It’s also lightweight, gentle, and formulated with natural and nourishing ingredients that won’t clog your pores or break you out. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick
NudeStix Tinted Cover Foundation in 02
NUDESTIX - Tinted Cover Foundation This is one of the most natural foundations I’ve ever tried. It has quite a bit more coverage than the Glossier Skin Tint, so I like to wear this on stage or if I’m having a bad skin day. It has a nice cooling feeling when I put it on and can be used with a brush, beauty blender, or fingers. I like to spread it out with my fingers and then go over it with a beauty blender to make sure it’s all blended properly. It’s a really nice dewy formula, and I like it a lot better than their Nudies Tinted Blur Stick. I tried that one, and if you have normal skin it might work, but if you have dry skin it’ll stick to your dry patches or if you have very oily skin it’ll separate. You need a specific skin type to make that work. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of that one as it’s been a whiiiiiile since I’ve had it. NUDESTIX - Nudies Tinted Blur Stick
BRAND SPOTLIGHT: NUDESTIX
Nudestix is one of my favorite makeup brands, if not my favorite. They come out with products that I feel are so wearable, easy to use and perfect for on the go! And almost every product can be used several different ways! The Hits: The Magnetic Eye Colors (Matte & Luminous) are some of my favorite cream eyeshadows for day-to-day looks. They are so creamy to apply, super pigmented and once they set, they won’t budge. I have the shades Nudity, Burnish, Smoke, Copper Foil, Rustique, Immortal, Army & Cocoa. I love the Nudies Bloom/Matte/Glow/Bronze Colors because they are also super creamy & soft to apply and blend seamlessly into the skin. They come in so many beautiful shades that work well with all skin tones. The Bloom formula leaves a subtle sheen, Matte is matte and stays on the longest, and Glow looks wet and dewy on the skin. I have the shades Poppy Girl, In The Nude, Bareback, Sunkissed, Hey, Honey, Illumi-Naughty & Bondi Bae. The Lip Glaces are some of my favorite lip glosses because of 1) the colors- I love Nude 06 (a my-lips-but-better shade) and Cherry (for a pop of juicy red) and 2) they’re moisturizing and glossy on the lips. They’re not sticky and look plumping on the lips! The new Plush Paint formula is beautiful. I have the shade St. Tropez and I can wear it on my eyes, cheeks and lips. This is the perfect shade for a multipurpose product because it looks just like a warm nude on my skin tone. It’s super lightweight and silky feeling and blends softly into the skin. Not pictured (because I forgot it was in my makeup bag when I took the photos), but I love the Magnetic Nude Glimmer in 99% Angel. It’s a super pretty non-glittery highlight that adds just the perfect amount of glow. I like it wear it on my brow bones, cheeks and cupids bow! The Misses: I had high hopes for the Nudies Tinted Blue Stick because I loved the idea of a light/medium coverage stick that’s easy to use and quick to apply for my daily makeup routine. But when I tried it out, it felt greasy on my skin but drying and mattifying at the same time. It provided almost no coverage too. It’s a great touch-up mattifying stick though, but just not good for what it’s marketed as. I have the shades 03 and 04. I’m over the dry, matte lips so the Magnetic Matte Lip Color really did not impress me. I have the shade Boho and it’s a beautiful color, only the formula is way too drying. It drags on my lips when I apply it, and really won’t budge once it has set, but it just makes my lips look like sandpaper!
CLEAN BEAUTY: RMS BEAUTY
rms beauty - Living Luminizer rms beauty - Un" Cover-Up Cream Foundation rms beauty - Contour Bronzer As the weather starts to warm up, I definitely find myself reaching for these RMS beauty pots more often. They’re so easy to smush on when I’m in a rush or on lighter makeup days (that happen more frequently in the summer). I love the consistency of the formulas- they start off a little harder and you have to use your finger to warm up the product before applying to the skin. Once it’s on the face, it’s super easy to blend and make look natural! The concealer is my favorite for no-makeup makeup/light makeup days because the coverage buildable and has a satin finish that looks incredibly like skin! The bronzer is great when I want super subtle “sculpting” under my cheekbones and doubles as a shimmery bronzy eye gloss! The cult-favorite Living Luminizer lives up to the hype and delivers a super glossy/glowy finish on the skin. I love this clean beauty brand and highly recommend it for people who love “lighter” makeup and isn’t looking for something matte or long-lasting.

Here are all my favourite toofaced products! If I could choose only one thing to recommend it would DEFINITELY be their Born This Way Concelear! There are no words for how much I love it! ❤️ It’s full coverage but it’s looks so natural, and it’s so creamy! 😍

Pretty Fresh from Colourpop✨
I actually thoroughly enjoy this line, its hydrating but not at all greasy which is great for someone like myself who gets oily throughout the day. The concealer (didn’t include it in this boomerang) is really nice coverage and dries down to a nice skin like finish. The tinted moisturizer isn’t my favorite and that’s only because Iite difficult for me to cover my hyperpigmentation and even if I spot conceal it shows through and also shifts a little when I apply this. It’s great if you just want a nice blur to the skin but not if you’re trying for conceal in any way. I recently tried the PF foundation (not in the boomerang either) and that formula is just as bomb as the concealer! Dries down beautifully and does a great job at covering up without a dry/matte finish. Its definitely great for daily wear and has a nice glow to it and I love that. A glow makes your skin look youthful and much more alive, especially when you’re exhausted LOL. Overall a great collection just not so much the tinted moisturizer. Matching My Skintone: Nudestix Tinted Cover
Just got this really cute nudestix sample as a gift and I am loving it! It has a very nice satin matte texture with sheer to medium coverage that feels rly good on the skin. 🥳 I haven’t really tested this out proper on my face just yet but just by swatching it on my hand I know that this shade is a tad too dark 😭 I might have been better suited for shade 3 instead. However the texture isn’t too bad! It seems to blend out quite evenly on my hand at least. My first impression of this is definitely quite positive - at least for now! I would recommend this to people who want a foundation that is slightly heavier than your average tinted moisturiser but not as thick as a foundation. While the price might be a tad steep, I think its justifiable considering what a good experience I’ve had all my Nudestix products so far. 💗🙌🏼 NUDESTIX - Tinted Cover Foundation

Glowy coverage and SPF
This Beauty Counter Dew Skin Moisturizing Coverage broad Spectrum SPF 20 (wow what a name) has been my go to summer product! It is a light coverage with a glowy finish. And it has SPF— I wouldn’t recommend replacing it with your SPF but using it in addition. I just use my fingers to apply it and it blends in beautifully. Definitely check it out 😄
I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
A very light weight foundation more likely to be called as tinted moisturizer honestly I expect a lot from a foundation if not full coverage I’d expect it to be long lasting at least. With no coverage at all I would not buy this. My skin felt kind of Oily on application I felt I have something on my skin!
