the ordinary nia natura moisturizing salicylic acid
two weeks after using the ordinary’s niacinimide 10%, alpha aburtin 2%, and natural moisturizing factors + HA. Not really seeing the results i’m hoping for :( Yesterday, i started using a 1% salicylic acid treatment. hope it starts working!
Wake up with clearer glowy skin😍😍
This is a quick snippet of my oily skin tutorial! I posted the full tutorial on my Instagram under my igtv My user name is @briannastantonn I suffer from acne prone greasy skin so if you guys would like to watch the thorough full video on my nightly routine to wake up with glowy skin go check it out ❣️
I really wanted to love The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% Zinc 1% serum. But to be honest it’s not worth the hype. I use it everyday and I’m seeing no difference in my acne, or in the other things it claims to do. I love how affordable this serum is (5ish dollars?) but it doesn’t work.
Clean Beauty🙌🏻 Blemishes and Dry Skin Be Gone
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This is my favourite product from this brand!! I started using this in January and this is my second bottle! I only apply it on my T-Zone or I'll apply it in areas that I find myself getting more acne. This product is great for decreasing blemishes and combating congestion. I prefer this consistency because I am able to wear it both during the day and night time! This product has been another great one that has helped combat my acne! Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 My second bottle and I love it!! My skin is super dry (yes even in the summer time🙄). This product has helped me combat my dry and flaky skin! Although I am not the biggest fan of the consistency, I find it's too sticky and I don't like how it feels on my face. So, I usually only apply it at night. Unless, my skin needs an extra dose of hydration during the day. I prefer applying this product when my skin is a bit damp just because I find the product absorbs better into my skin. Overall, for myself it has been a great product. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Latest favorite: The Ordinary 10% Niacinamide💦
The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is one of my latest and favorite additions to my routine! My skin at times can get sensitive because I tend to get a little carried away while exfoliating. This soothes whenever my face gets a little red and really has helped regulate the oily-ness in my T zone. Did I mention it even helps with any inflamed breakouts! I saw this stuff and was skeptical at first for something that literally cost $5, but I’m very impressed with this product and will definitely be buying another. You don’t normally expect a high-quality serum that just absorbs beautifully to the skin at such a low price point.

THOUGHTS ON THE ORDINARY NIACINAMIDE 10% ZINC 1%
The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Overall Thoughts: This has completely changed my skin’s tone & reduced scarring I’ve had on my face for years in just 3 weeks. It leaves my skin super glowy & clear the next morning. Usage: I use this at night before I apply moisturizer. 3 drops are enough to cover my whole face. It has a really slimy, almost snail-like texture but I’ve gotten used to it. I’ve learned to let it sit on my face before applying moisturizer to prevent piling. You can use it morning and night but I don’t love the feeling it gives my skin & don’t think I’d feel comfortable going all day with it on, but at night I don’t mind because I wear it straight to sleep. I still give it 5 stars because of the results it’s shown so far, and if I have to deal with an unpleasant texture for high-quality results, then I’m not complaining. Science: NIACINAMIDE [aka Vitamin B3] helps to reduce blemishes & pore congestion. It also helps to balance the skin’s natural sebum production levels [great for oily skin types!] It is also known to help with rosaccea & redness in the skin [I’ve seen improvements with this in my own skin]. ZINC helps with collagen production which coincides perfectly with the function of niacinamide. I will definitely repurchase this product once I am done. I can’t wait to see it’s long-term results!

Fave Skincare products - Brown south Asian Skin
Hi! This is my first post on this app but I wanted to share my fave skincare products at the moment. Just a bit of background info: I’m 19 years old of South Asian ethnicity, but born & raised in Sydney, Australia (yes, the sun is quite harsh over here!). Currently, I’m lovingggg the Ordinary products (as you might be able to tell!). The first product I ever used from them was their Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and boy did it change my skin! I have an olive skin tone, and have suffered from acne since I was about 14 years old (I’d say). As a result, when I was younger, I would pick on them A LOT causing dark spots that are hard to get rid of now. But with Niacinamide, I found my overall skin tone looking MUCH brighter, and the appearance of my acne scars not so prominent as before. Prior to this I tried using Ole Henriksen’s dark spot toner, which frankly I wasn’t a fan of (despite the crazy amount of good reviews on Sephora AU). The Ordinary’s products are so affordable yet SO effective, especially compared to higher end skincare products which are filled with nasties and unnecessary ingredients. I think the combination of applying Niacinamide at night & cleansing then applying vitamin C in the morning (with moisturiser and SPF on top, of course!) has been a game changer for my skin. This Vitamin C serum by Derma E is fantastic at brightening your skin tone/giving a beautiful glow to the skin and is a cheaper alternative (if you’re in Aus, I always buy mine from Priceline while it’s on sale!). As for the other three products in the photo, I’ve only introduced them to my skincare regime in the past 3-4 weeks, so I’m still waiting to see any significant change. Both of the hydrating products (hyaluronic acid & the plant derived squalane) are going well, making my skin super plump and soft in the morning. I have oily/combination skin but these products sit very nicely on my skin. I normally use squalane at night as my last step before moisturiser, and I use hyaluronic acid in the day time (usually after my Vitamin C serum and before my moisturiser & SPF). As for the Retinoid, I talked to a skin specialist from the Ordinary saying that it would be more suitable to go in with Retinoid (as opposed to Retinol) first, as it’s not as harsh but has similar effects (increases cell turnover). It’s a milky consistency (& colour) & causes no irritation and I’ve not seen any side effects yet. I typically use this less, usually every 3 days or so. Also as a side note, as I’m a POC, my skin may be quite different from yours, especially if you have Caucasian skin. If you do have brown or South Asian skin, I’d highly recommend searching up the Hyperpigmentation Clinic on YouTube & Instagram, as the doctor of that clinic does great reviews on different skincare products if you wanted to increase your knowledge on skincare! That’s all for my first post, hope you all enjoyed!
