Glossier Futuredew: Get Glass Skin Instantly
I received this product complimentary for review purposes. I was hesitant at first because I have oily-combination skin and was afraid of looking greasy or breaking out. However, this oil serum hybrid gives me the most beautiful glass skin! ✨PACKAGING: The packaging feels weighted and luxurious. I love that it comes in a pump bottle for easy application! The frosted bottle allows you to see the beautiful peachy sheen of the product inside. ✨PRODUCT: The product looks like a peachy color but once absorbed into the skin, leaves no color— only shine. I used one pump and it was plenty, so I feel like this bottle will last awhile. The serum absorbed once I patted it down and left my skin feeling very hydrated and moisturized. ☺️ ✨ APPLICATION: I wanted to try the futuredew on my bare face without any makeup base products. I applied this to all the parts of my face I would normally use highlight, including my cheekbones, under the eyebrows, and the tip of my nose. ✨RESULTS: This serum gave my skin a beautiful, lit-from within glow. It was as if I had done a complete skincare routine and finished a hydrating sheet mask. Hours after applying, I can still feel how moisturized my skin is and see a subtle shine. This is impressive because most serums don’t leave such a glow after they have been absorbed into the skin. Even though I have oily skin and large pores, this did not break me out or accentuate texture. ✨FINAL THOUGHTS: I later applied makeup on top of the futuredew and it was a great base! This kept my makeup from clingy to any flaky patches and made my powder products apply smoother. I prefer a blinding highlight so I wouldn’t use this as my highlighter but if you like a natural highlight, I could see the futuredew serving that purpose. 😌 I would recommend this for any skin type as either a skincare serum or makeup base. I would definitely purchase this with my own money once I finish this bottle because I can’t stop looking at how radiant my skin looks!
Lit From Within Glowwww✨😍
I recently started using these 4 products for almost 2 weeks now & I’m never turning back!!! •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil •YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask •Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I have never had such a consistent glow to my skin since starting these! I get complimented daily! I love these products so much. The two Youth To The People creams absorb so quickly & don’t leave it feeling like you have all this junk on your face either. My previous moisturizer would always pill up once I went to put anything else on my face & these don’t do that! The Glossier serum is also extremely light & doesn’t clog pores which is something I was worried about initially. It comes out in this pinkish color but it doesn’t turn your skin any other, it just gives you a dewy look. & the Youth To The People serum is amazing of course! It literally gives me this glow like no other! A little bit goes a very long way, as with most of their products. Now I just need to clear up the little bit of texture I have left in my chin! I blame it on the fact that I went out quite a bit the last week (church, grocery shopping, random errands) & of course wore a mask the whole time! Resulting in some maskne 😢 But that is just temporary! As is every blemish! I definitely recommend trying these products guys! They are HOLY GRAILS if there ever was one! @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick
Full Glossier Look
I proclaim myself a Glossier ambassador because it’s the only brand I use for makeup looks other than my new Kat Von D lip liner and my trusty L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeliner. I made this a Reel on my Instagram if you want to check it out, but these are the products I used✨ (I have acne and none of these products have exacerbated it, thank goodness. I don’t use their foundation anymore because my skin doesn’t agree with anything foundation lol). Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss It’s not my favorite lipgloss because it’s too thick and sticky, but I like the shine it gives especially when I want a glow. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I bought this serum a couple months ago and I’m not mad at it. It gives a subtle glow unlike my Becca Cosmetics compact, but it does the job. I apply it with my hands and in a few minutes I’m all set...to sit at home and work from my bed lol. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo I used the shade “Storm” and I like that it’s a deeper tone. It shows up on my skin tone and gives me a slight flushed look which is what a good blush should do, in my opinion. I’ve used it a little on my lips too just for a pop of color and right now this is my favorite product from Glossier Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream I’ll always give this moisturizer love. It gets rid of my dry flaky skin and because it’s thick it keeps my skin hydrated for quite some time.
I would rather get coal than..... Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Treatment Essence I found out about Melano CC on Reddit where everybody was raving about it and how it was the holy grail for acne prone skin. I have struggled with Acne for years now, so I immediately bought Melano CC and was very hopeful my acne would clear up. However, this product turned out terrible for me. Melano CC is basically made with strong vitamin C and E serums, so maybe I’m more sensitive to one of those two, but every time I would put this on a problem area on my skin it would burn. I would always assume that was normal and I would leave my skin alone for a couple hours and then I would finish with the rest of my skincare routine. Problem is I never could because any other product I would put on my face would cause searing pain. A couple times I actually woke up to chemical burns on my face from where I put the Melano CC. Long story short, I am very disappointed with this product. I had such high hopes. I guess maybe in the future I have to be cautious with products high in vitamin C & E.
Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Treatment Essence
I’ve never been so excited to get a breakout. How cute is this glossier Zit Stick? ▪️Aside from the adorable packaging that resembles a pink Tide pen, this little baby packs a punch. With benzoyl peroxide, capryloyl salicylic acid & tea tree oil, this little pen claims to start shrinking your breakouts in as little as 3 hours. Plus, it’s colorless and, therefore, can be worn under makeup or applied mid-day. ▪️ I love the easy applicator. The stainless steel rollerball feels cool to the touch and soothes any irritation. Getting it to work initially took awhile. I clicked it at least 50 times before anything came out. Not sure if it was a problem with my particular Zit Stick, but I finally did see the product appear around the steel ball. ▪️I tend to stay away from benzoyl peroxide in my products, because it dries out my skin, but I didn’t find this product drying. Due to the pen-style applicator, you can really target where you place the product. ▪️ So, did it work? I waited patiently for a spot to appear on my face (said no one ever) so that I could test Zit Stick. I attacked the first blemish that showed it’s ugly face with this little pink pen twice a day, checking my progress along the way. After one night, I woke up to find that the spot had shrunk and was less inflamed. After the second night, it was almost completely gone. ▪️ It’s definitely not a cure all, but it does significantly reduce the size of blemishes in a short time span. ▪️ Glossier Zit Stick retails for $14 (US).
Pimples!! We hate them! They know we hate them, they don’t care they come anyway! 😡 💛Let me introduce you to my best friend! cocokindskincare Turmeric Spot treatment. This product right here is one of the OGs!! 💛Turmeric is known for its anti inflammatory & healing properties. I have been using this for years and I can’t live without it! Whenever I have hormonal breakouts or even feel them brewing under my skin...I use this stick. I use it either at night or throughout the day if you don’t mind rockin’ the random orange-yellow spots on your face. It is magical! It basically cuts my breakouts life in half!
My all time favorite enzyme peel that I have been purchasing for about 5 years now! ♥️ This is called the Amazon Enzyme Peel from lmskincare I used this every time before masking for two years about 5 years ago and my skin was incredible. ✨ I stopped purchasing this about 2 years ago for a very silly reason: I couldn’t just pop-by the shop to purchase it! I started using this again about 6 months ago and I am super happy and so is my skin of course! This enzyme peel contains natural enzymes from Papaya and Pineapple and has powdered walnut it! Tips: if you’re using this for the first time and if you have sensitive skin apply this in circular motion and leave on for 2 min (I did that the first time cause I was scared of breaking out but I didn’t break out! 🤗). Now I leave it on for 10 - 15 min! P.S I have normal skin but I am prone to breakouts or clogged pores!
🌿Leegeehaam Grow Tea Tree 70 Spot Review🌿 I'm tired after the whole day but at least I'll share with you a review of LGH Spot Treatment. Acne is quite a huge problem for me, especially lately when I'm stressed so LGH sent me this spot treatment just in time of an acne attack. The packaging is very unique - it might be scary if you're afraid of blood and syringes but personally, I'm not scared at all. The good thing about the product - you can write on the packaging the date of the first use. The product is easy to apply and it has a light green colour and tea tree scent. All you need to do is turn the upper part of the 'syringe' and push it. The main ingredient is tea tree extract accompanied by numerous natural extracts and oils. Honestly, I've got mixed feelings about it because some pimples really needed this spot gel to remove the inflammation and pimple but because I had the worst acne ever due to stress some pimples decided to not react to the treatment at all. Lately, because my acne is lighter, it works perfectly on my skin. I totally see it working on the skin of teenagers that have never tired any acne product before since it's quite mild treatment and for people that gets one pimple a year or couple months. The only bad thing is that you can't really see how much of the product is left since the packaging is fully white.
Kinship Spot Treatment
As soon as I saw the ingredients list for this product, I knew I’d love it. This is @lovekinship ’s pimple potion / spot treatment. What stuck out to me right away is that this spot treatment has bakuchiol, which is a gentle version of retinol, and which I have used in the past and loved. I had high hopes for this product, and thankfully, they were all met. This spot treatment is gentle, doesn’t dry out the area you apply it on, and doesn’t irritate it. It comes out yellow, but after massaging it for a few seconds it disappears, leaving no color behind. I’ve since used it a dozen times on big and small pimples, and can say with confidence that it works. The pimples quickly decrease in size and redness, and don’t come back in the area where the spot treatment was used. . . . . (gifted)
