the only thing that helps my dyshidrotic eczema
#up & up - 1% hydrocortisone[products]# ⚡️my skin type: sensitive eczema and acne prone ⚡️what the product does: anti inflammatory ⚡️what makes it worth it: sometimes when i have an eczema flare up, the only thing that can calm it down is a steroid like hydrocortisone. in the pic ive posted a flare up that is starting to heal after a day or so of applicationn ⚡️ingredient highlights: hydrocortisone steroid ⚡️what the experience is like: nothing fancy here. i use it as a spot treatment on flare ups. ive tried various brands from cvs generic to target to aveeno. they are all effective but be cautious as steroids are a last resort and should not be used longterm ⚡️pro tip: if you have sensitive skin skip all the extra variations of hydrocortisone like “extra “moisturizing” etc just go for the simple basic one

Barecat Revitalize & Repair Daily Facial Serum
After reading the reviews on their website & researching the effects of CBD in skincare, I was hopeful that this would help with some of the struggles I have been dealing with when it comes to my skin. I had texture (so. much. texture) on my cheeks, active breakouts, and insane redness on both cheeks (thank you rosacea). Trust me when I say that I have tried MANY things to clear up these issues but my skin has been on another level this last few months and nothing was working. Enter this serum; within 3 days (seriously) my skin had completely changed. The biggest thing I noticed was how well it cleared up all the inflammation that was going on. If you are dealing with any of the skin concerns I have mentioned, I highly recommend trying out this serum. It applies well under all of my other skincare and also makes a great base to apply makeup on top of - I honestly can’t express how much I love this stuff and don’t ever want to run out of it. *product gifted but thoughts are my own
AZELAIC ACID Produced from yeast, and found naturally on the skin, Azelaic acid is touted to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes, refine the skin’s surface, improve skin tone and finish post-acne scars by inhibiting unwanted elements on the skin through light exfoliation. It’s also considered the chemical exfoliant of choice when you want to tackle clarity of pores, yet are prone to redness and results can be expected within 3 to 6 months. Having tried over the counter azelaic acid, including the pictured Garden of Wisdom one, and a suspension from The Ordinary as well as prescription strength Skinoren, I now know that azelaic acid, in any strength, irritates my sensitive skin. I’m always left with red sensitive patches and tiny little bumps. However, just because I can’t personally use it, doesn’t mean it’s a bad ingredient - in fact, it’s a star ingredient cross versatile multi-tasker that I wish I could tolerate!
no more redness!!
💥 My face is always red from irritation. When I thought I was going to have to deal with this forever, I felt defeated. After researching, I discovered that using vitamin c oil on my red spots could solve this!!! 💥 🌟 using this vitamin oil has helped reduce my redness so much!! I have been using this for about two years and have noticed significantly less redness, especially where I previously had bad acne. 🌟 💧 this serum costs $10 per bottle and is so worth it especially since a little goes a long way!! You apply it with a dropper and rub it into your skin. I prefer to do this before bed so i don’t look greasy in the morning. It is very thick. 💧 ✨overall, I highly recommend this if you also experience redness or if you want to even out your overall skin tone and consistency!! ✨
Unlike other skincare ingredients, we really can never have too much of antioxidants in our routine especially since our skin takes a daily beating from pollution and environmental stressors. But daytime protection isn’t enough, using antioxidants at night is still needed to have a serious and consistent defensive regimen. That's why I started to use NIOD Survival 0 which intended to boost night time repair. Even though it offers no UV protection, it's still protects the skin from infrared and blue light emitted from digital devices. This serum has a terracotta color that comes from the Tomato Carotenoid, but it doesn't stain the skin. It's a pleasure to apply due to it being a thin and light emulsion and it doesn’t form a film or leave residue as there are no silicons it in. It also layers very well with whatever else I use and only a few drops needed as it spreads easily. The scent is light and spicy, nothing extra or artificial. The main actors in Survival 0 is Purified Lutein which is a carotenoid derived from marigold flower but also found in leafy green like kale and spinach that works to counteract the negative effects of blue light as well as improve elasticity. Not only that, this serum is also enriched with other powerful antioxidants, including Yeast-Derived Superoxide Dismutase and Pycnogenol. I think this serum also help my skin prevents acne because it has Prebiotic Complex that supports the skin’s natural microflora to protect against harmful bacteria. And then, it keeps the skin hydrated with Algae extracts that have the ability to bind water to the skin, soothe inflammation and repair tissue damage. Basically, Survival 0 is like super serum that could replace a multitude of products. It's also an excellent Vitamin C alternative for those who want the antioxidant benefits, but just can’t handle it. This hasn’t caused me any irritation and should work fine for all skin types. Any kind of antioxidant or protection serum is hard to assess it’s full effectiveness as there’s no for sure visible results. But I feel like my skin is even more calm and less reactive since I use it three months ago. It's all about prevention!
Currently my perfect combo for AM routine both from elan skincare Hyaluronic Acid Boooster and the Wonder Serum. This brand just got me hooked up on their serums, they are cruelty free, organic and active which are my key things for what my skin loves💕 This Hyaluronic Acid is one of the best I ve tried, it doesn’t irritate my skin as The Ordinary did (even if it’s not an actual Acid, I know my skin is weird but it honestly prefers this one). It really worked wonders for my dehydrated skin and rosacea. I really enjoy it the morning as it leaves my skin so f**k*** Glowing. The Wonder Serum has a special place in my heart now now as I have used it for a bit more than a month but my skin feels more moisturised, even toned and just on point while using those together. For me it’s a perfect combo for a super simple morning routine that my skin thanks me for.
- [ ] Neutrogena rapid clear treatment pads contains 60 soft textured acne treatment pads. This product helps improve your skin by reducing pimple size, swelling, and redness. The main ingredient is salicylic acid. Salicylic acid helps to soften the skin, making it easier to remove dead and shedding skin cells. ( your dried out pimple literally falls off your face lol) I have used this product for over a year and it has been so beneficial at adding it to my skin care routine. I have a very sensitive skin but this product helps me get clear and smooth skin without drying it out. I have no irritations using it and it’s only cost around $7 to $9 depending on the store. It’s absolutely worth it I recommend. 😻 I do have an accent in case my words sound different but let me know if you missed anything enjoy🙂
