Dede91I couldn’t agree more. It’s amazing for acne I use it twice weekly and it didn’t dry my skin. Good luck 🙏🏻

Before and Afters still in progress....
I truly don’t like doing before and afters especially when it looks like there’s barely any progress but I promise you my skin FEELS so much better than it looks and I’ve seen some amazing progress! I’ve tagged the products I feel have helped the most recently. It takes patience but little progress is still PROGRESS 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
1 week update
thanks to all lovely beauties out there to take their time and add a comment on my last post. I was devastated by breakout, i was having from last 2-3 weeks and nothing seems to be working. Well i guess too many exfoliants was making my skin too sensitive so now i am back to basics. I have started what i was doing in the beginning and that seems to be working just fine. I think i was selfish to have a great skin in no time 🥴. If someone is just curious what i am doing right now then lets go to products. AM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control it has tree oil which is good for acne prone skin The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ as i have sensitive and oily skin this makes my face matte and oil free. I really like this one for oily skin or combination skin PM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (only on spots and acne 2-3 times a week) The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA (once a week) The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (once a week) The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque (once a week) The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane tea tree oil only on spots Even if i have listed so many items i feel i have very basic skin care routine as most of the products are being used weekly or only 2-3 times a week. But in the end this routine is working out for me and i am seeing good progress which makes me happy. Again thanks to all who suggested me before ❤️❤️
Great value salicylic masque!
I have been using this weekly and honesty my combo, acne-prone skin loves salicylic acid. It’s one of my go-to ingredients for acne busting. This mask isn’t overly drying, especially if you tend to have oily skin like me. It is really hard to get off though, which sucks. But the mask is like 10-12 bucks at Sephora or on Deciems website. High quality product for a low price! Their BHA Peeling mask is also a holy grail for me. Worth trying for the price.

Great gentle exfoliating mask
I’m a long-time fan of The Ordinary, so when I saw this new mask in the Deciem store during a recent trip to Toronto, I snapped it up! I‘ve used their acid peel in the past and although I loved the results, it was very strong and stung my skin every time I used it. I was hoping this mask would be a gentler alternative, and thus far it’s lived up to my hopes. This mask claims to target lackluster tone and texture, including large pores and acne blemishes. The product is a creamy consistency, and a little goes a long way—a very thin layer is all you need. The mask dries to a matte finish within a few minutes, and when I wash it off it feels like there are some physical exfoliants—maybe the charcoal? Either way, it doesn’t sting my skin at all, and I think it’s really helped calm down my current breakout. This mask is more expensive than the acid peel, at $12 for 50ml, but it’s still very affordable. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a milder exfoliating mask that targets acne, large pores, and texture. The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque

My best acne solution
A few months ago I was traveling and knew I was headed toward a terrible breakout (as always happens when I travel). While I was away I saw these pads and picked them up as a potential solution. I hadn’t used acne pads since my teen years, but I was intrigued by the salicylic acid, which while helping control breakouts is also a chemical exfoliator which can help promote brightness and pore size by sloughing off dead skin. To my surprise and delight these pads helped prevent and rapidly clear my breakouts! I ended up using the whole container and definitely plan on repurchasing. Even though these are marketed as max strength, I never found them to be drying or make my skin uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to find a product to help with acne! My go-to face mask for acne/blemishes!🧚🏻♀️
Supermud is a very advanced clearing treatment with charcoal mud to fight problem skin and skin imperfections! The activated-x charcoal helps lift dirt, toxins and excess oil from the deepest and toughest areas to purify pores. The SUPER 6 Acid Blend helps loosen dead skin cells to exfoliate and sweep them away, leaving fresh, smooth skin behind. I notice right away a visibly clear complexion!! It is 100% suitable for acne-prone skin and works with pores, oiliness, blemishes, and problem skin! This has a very thick and rich texture and dries on the skin to let you know it’s working!! I use this all the time when my skin is acting up and I immediately see a difference! For anyone looking for help with their skin this is what you need!!✨GLAMGLOW - Supermud Charcoal Instant Treatment Mask

SUPERMUD blackheads be GONE!
What it is: This mask contains 6-- yes six--exfoliating acids and activated charcoal. It claims to instantly and visibly clear pores and clarify the complexion. Price: $59 full size, $25 mini My thoughts: *Disclaimer: I want to start this review by saying that I would not recommend this mask for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin and you’d like to try it, please patch test in an area first. This is an intense mask. I do not have sensitive skin. I am able to use a lot of different products on my skin, but this one, although effective, makes my skin red. This is an as-needed or couple of times a month product for me. Now for the details: It unclogs and tightens the pores, and the tightness is noticeable. It leaves the skin feeling soft, clean, and brightened, but I do experience redness. I think this mask is best used when you can moisturize VERY well afterward. This product is great at fighting breakouts because of the acids in it. The texture is very indicative of a mud/clay mask. It is a heavy texture that hardens as it dries. It has a very minty/eucalyptus scent to it, and it has a moderate cooling sensation when it is applied. The biggest downside for this mask for me is the price tag. GlamGlow products are best purchased on sale in my experience.. The plus side is that it isn’t a mask that I would personally use on a weekly basis so it lasts a long time for me. GLAMGLOW - Supermud Charcoal Instant Treatment Mask Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quarantine maskin got me like...
Hey y’all! Quarantine has got ya girl SUPER LAZY, but it’s all good. Now is the time to be lazy right?? Lol I’m not big on masks often because I guess I just forget to use them and it can be messy and again, I’m lazy.. lol BUT I’ve been using this mask a lot more lately to help clear some congested pores and hopefully shrink my pores. ALGENIST - PERFECT Clarifying Pore Corrector Mask If you don’t mind a bloody red face mask then I’d definitely recommend this mask. Here’s my break down of the positives and the negatives. + interesting texture! Looks like clay but has a gel like texture to it. + smells like a clay mask and it’s not bad, not great, but tolerable. + helps pull out impurities in skin with the ingredient sulfur. + really pulls out that yucky stuff to leave your skin feeling clean, soft, and more plump. + noticeable improvement in little bump like blemishes. + sensitive enough for all skin types + has a slight cooling/tingling sensation. + quick 10 minute mask. - results for smaller pores take some more time than how quickly the blemishes disappeared. - MESSY MESSY MESSY. - will stain any clothing or towels, so be careful. - not the easiest mask to wash off, BUT really easy when washing off in the shower. Other wise I’d use a wash cloth to take off. Like all products there are some good and bad, but this one is 95% good. For the mess and stains this is more of a 4.5/5. What’s your favorite mask for pores and acne?
