First Aid Beauty Weightless Liquid Sunscreen
This is a non-whitening mineral SPF that protects skin from UVA/UVB rays and absorbs quickly with a light, invisible, non-greasy finish. I find it to match most skin tones. My mom, who has a more tan skin tone, enjoys using this. She also enjoys it because she wanted to avoid using a chemical sunscreen and use a brand that incorporates more “clean” ingredients. (Discussion on “clean” beauty for another post.) Ingredients highlights include: - Alteromonas Ferment Filtrate: Helps protect skin against exposure to the elements and helps soothe, and retain moisture in skin. - Vitamin E: A vitamin rich in antioxidants that helps condition and soothe skin and stave off environmental aggressors. - Zinc Oxide: A nano-free physical sunscreen that helps filter harmful UV rays without irritating skin. This product is a very lightweight (as stated in the name) tinted liquid, that goes on easily (though I occasionally feel a little gritty texture) and blends in nicely in the skin. It’s fragrance free. It doesn’t leave the skin too shiny like some other liquid sunscreens can do. The bottle can last a few months. I highly recommend this product. Ideal SPF for Dry Skin🌞
The struggle for the right SPF is so real 😩. Up until now, every sunscreen I have tried has left me with a horrible white cast and it was not cute. I bought this product on impulse and I loveee it!! I know a lot of us avoid using SPF because either we forget or cause of the white cast issue. However, this product goes on so smoothly and leaves no residue. Although, I didn't read the packaging and didn't realize how watery this product actually is (I mean it says fluid so clearly I actually can't read😂). Despite that, this product is a great SPF for dry skin like mine. This product claims to effectively provide UVA/UVB protection while hydrating your skin. It's been great for my dry skin! What works for me may not work for you, and vice versa! Always do your research before trying new products! 💕

My first thoughts on this SPF!
First of all- sorry for looking exhausted in this video- 4 hours of sleep the night before and the coffee hadn’t kicked in yet! But OMG YESSSSSSS Loving 👏🏼 on👏🏼this👏🏼 SPF👏🏼 Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 this is my dream, especially living where I live in Southern California and with my skin type. When doing some research, based on my understanding of ingredients and what Supergoop!’s website recommended, oily/ combo skin folks could benefit from their Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40so, searching for something for more of a dry skin type, I went for the Unseen to try. It has 0 white cast- great visually for all skin tones which is wonderful! It has isododecane, which contributes to the formulas smooth and non-greasy feel. It glides very, very easily across the face. While I would say a little bit goes a long way (which it feels like because of how easily it glides!) sunscreen is a product I believe is always “more is more,” in your skincare routine. Being someone who loves to use minimal make up most of the time, this is a great product to use. I can’t give an honest review on how this product works with glammed up/ medium-heavy coverage liquid foundations and concealers, because I do not use those. This leaves your face with a velvety look and feel! Let me know your thoughts on this product below.

The most elegant & heavy-duty sunscreen yet!
If you frequent any Asian Beauty subs you know you’ve heard of this sunscreen! TheKanebo - ALLIE Extra UV Gel Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ is touted as a holy grail for many in the sunscreen community. But is it worth the $25-$35 dollars it retails for? PROS Water-proof! It will stay put when swimming and won’t wash off without some serious effort. It creates almost a film-like barrier that you can feel on your skin when you first put it on but disappears after a few minutes of wear and I suspect this film is what makes it so good at protecting you from the elements. Sweat-proof! I actually put on this sunscreen when hiking. It’s pretty sweat-proof though I wouldn’t be able to tell you for how long since I always reapply after 2 hours. Resistant to friction! You know the feeling when you just put on your sunscreen and now you have to take off your t-shirt or put on a hat and your sunscreen comes off when it touches your face? No more! As long as the sunscreen is dry, it won’t come off! CONS If you have deep skin of color, you should consider skipping this. I wear foundation shade MUFE Y405, for reference and the white cast is visible on me. You have to double cleanse really well in order to take off the sunscreen before bed. This sunscreen is a workhorse and not easily broken down. If you have skin that will be easily irritated by too much cleansing, or haven’t found the right cleansing products for you, consider skipping this sunscreen. When rubbing in, you must work quickly and in thin layers. Additionally you have to let the layers dry completely between applications. The friction-proof qualities of this product make it so that if you accidentally let a big glop dry it will dry thick and white and will be difficult to spread out. Make-up can be difficult to spread on top, depending on the formula. For example, my wax RCMA foundation is easy to apply on top of this. But my sticky cream blush is not and will apply streaky. 💰💰💰. At $30ish for 40g you are not getting a lot of bang for your buck. Summary If you have a deep skin tone, definitely don’t get this unless you are willing to put up with the white cast. And honestly, as excellent as it is, I would really only recommend it for outdoor activities or when you need something heavy-duty due to the steep price point. My number 1 sunscreen
The TROIAREUKE - Acsen UV Protector Essence is my rank 1 sunscreen because of how lightweight the formula and finish are. I’ve yet to find a sunscreen that can top it. This hybrid sunscreen contains a mix of chemical and physical uv filters such as 7% octinoxate, 3% homosalate, 3% octisalate, and 1.49% titanium dioxide to protect your skin from UVA/UVB radiation. The finish of this is so fresh that it feels like a drink of water on my skin. It’s one of the best sunscreens for oily skin because there’s very little to no oil in the formula. This also contains other skin beneficial ingredients such as aloe vera, centella asiatica, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, niacinamide, glycerin, and some peptides. This sunscreen has a lightweight milky gel cream texture that just melts into the skin. The finish isn’t sticky or tacky, and it just feels like hydrated skin. There’s also no white cast. This sunscreen is very hydrating and moisturizing so I find that I can even skip my daytime moisturizer when using this. The sunscreen actually reminds me of those water drop creams as it’s being rubbed into the skin because it melts down into a watery milky essence before being absorbed. This also imparts a cooling sensation which is nice during hotter months. There’s also no stinging around my eyes like some other sunscreens. I love that this sunscreen helps reduce my sebum production so that I don’t look like a greaseball by the end of the day. There are some things to keep in mind about this product though. The first is that they did add fragrance to this and although it hasn’t caused myself any irritations, I can’t say that it won’t be irritating for others. The second is the price. It’s quite pricy for the amount you get. But even so, I still really love this sunscreen, and will definitely repurchase when a sale is happening. Overall, this sunscreen checks most of the boxes for me. I do recommend trying this out but it’s not for everyone. It’s also pricy but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the product. I’m still searching for a product that can replace this though. Has anyone else tried this yet? If so, any thoughts? Rating: 5/5 🌟 #CherieCreator #Troiareuke

A GREAT Sunscreen 💛
This mineral sunscreen by Versed is hands down amazing. This sunscreen has a SPF of 35 and is described as having three way protection against environmental pollution, electronic pollution, and the sun. This product is also vegan and cruelty free ( something I love seeing in my skin care products💕). I found this formula to be very interesting due to its orangey color, but it left no trace of color on my skin and blended in nicely. It’s also very lightweight compared to most sunscreens so I applied a little more moisturizer before hand and was left with a very natural, slightly dewy finish which I loooove. The price for this sunscreen is a tad steep, being about $22 for 1.7 fl. oz. But it’s one of the best mineral sunscreens I’ve come across so I’m totally fine with the price. Overall I give this product 5 out of 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 VERSED - Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
