night night routine
My night time skin care roitine is a ritual. It's my "It's time to decompress, remove the day and transition to a relaxing evening" time. I start by using my micellar water and baby washcloth and remove me eye and facial make. Then, I wash my face with my Cetaphil face wash. After patting my face dry, I pat on some Revolution Bakuchiol Serum. Then I move on to the Revolution Hyaluronic Acid. After that, I get a drop of Revolution Targeted Under Eye Serum with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid and tap it under my eyes. Then I use Revolution Collagen Skin Firming Solution on my face. After that it's Revolution Niacinamide Blemish Refining and Moisturizing Serum. Then, I moisturize some more with CeraVe PM Ultra Moisturizing Lotion and finish off with a sample of Sunday Riley High Dose Rentinoid Serum. After that, I am finally ready to lay down for the evening and go to bed. Final thought, you probably don't need a complicated skin routine at night. and certainly, have a less complicated one on standby for those nights when you just can barely put one foot in front of the other. As my mom used to say....night, night, don't let the bed bugs bite. GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin I love, love, love this stuff! it's gentle on my skin. It takes off the toughest mascara without irritating my eyes. I use it as a pre cleanser before washing my face. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser While I use this every night, I am only using it until I finish the bottle. I am not crazy about the scent and there is a slight sting on my cheeks when I first lather the product on my skin and I am not fond of that feeling. REVOLUTION - 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum REVOLUTION - Targeted Under Eye Serum 5% Caffeine REVOLUTION - 15% Niacinamide Serum REVOLUTION - Skin Firming Solution Stabilised Active Collagen Serum I've enjoyed all of the products I purchased from Revolution, they will all be empties. I am going to try The Ordinary next but the price comparison is about the same. DIFFERIN - Dark Spot Correcting Serum I haven't noticed a bit of difference since using this. how long do you have to you this before you notice your spots lightening?SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum
💙 Powerful but Gentle Retinol! 💙
Follow my skincare Instagram @skincare_by_reba for more content! 🥰 💙 Let’s talk 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐬! 💙 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭? This is SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum! SR’s site describes it as an “advanced-strength retinoid serum that delivers a 6.5% solution of stabilized retinoid blends and botanical, retinol-alternative extracts into the skin.” See my IG post for the breakdown of the retinoid blend & other key ingredients! 𝐌𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: I know you’re all probably waiting for me to say I don’t love a SR product, but I’m sorry...𝘐 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰 🥰 after using a Pixi retinol serum for a couple months and then switching to Luna (see my review in an earlier post!), I finally added this higher percentage of retinol to my routine in September. I think it was a HUGE contributor to the amazing results I saw in just over 2 weeks after switching to an almost entirely SR routine (scroll way back in my feed to see my before/after for that!). Every morning after I use this I wake up to super soft, even-toned skin. If you’re new to a higher dose retinoid, try layering a hydrating oil first for a more gentle experience with A+. Start with two nights on, two nights off and build from there. Once your skin has adjusted, you can use A+ nightly (if desired), and I like to layer Luna on top for a bonus dose of retinol goodness! This serum, like all SR products, plays very well with others in the line. I layer A+, Luna, and Good Genes on many nights and have never had an issue! Of course, I have very tolerant skin so make sure you do what works best for 𝘺𝘰𝘶! 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞: The price is steep with this one, as it is with a lot of high-quality products. It’s $85/1oz or $122/1.7oz. I just finished up my 1oz bottle that I bought in mid-September, so it lasted me about 3.5 months with usage of 4-5 nights/week. I’ve cut back on that recently as I’m trying to rotate more products into my evening routine (like Vitamin C), and I used a solid 1.5-2 pumps with every use. If you just use 1 pump and less frequently, it’ll last you way longer! I just received my 1.7oz (just in time!) which I bought in the Power of Three kit — great savings that way on 3 serums I use all the time! 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩-𝘥𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘭?

It’s it really worth it?????
This product was really cool, I mean it comes in a cool container and there was a lot of hype about it , so I gave it a shot. I think it works but not as well as other products that I have tested out. For eyes - it didn’t work for me as much as the GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask which really worked well for me. But the bubble wrap could work for you For lips - it did plump like it said but it isn’t my favorite lip product that they do sell is Glossier. - Balm Dotcom it smells super good and it really helps Tell my your experience with the Glossier. - Bubblewrap Eye + Lip Plumping Cream
These saved my dry skin! ❄️
I usually have combination skin but for the past few weeks my skin has been extremely dry and tight. I’ve felt the most dryness on the lower parts of my cheeks and slowly my face has become more sensitive. These products have definitely helped improve the texture and hydration of my skin. I’m usually somewhat dry with my forehead/nose being really oily. My area has been having really cold dry winter days and nights. I start off with glossier milky jelly cleanser. It’s super conditioning. It doesn’t lather and helps soothe the redness. This has always worked for my combination skin and now works perfectly for my dehydrated dry skin. This doesn’t have a scent which I love. I have the full size and I already bought a back up of this. Full size is 6 oz $18 Mini size is 2 oz $9 Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser I follow with my peach & Lilly glass skin refining serum. I’ve been using this since July and it’s really light but moisturizing. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and I’ve definitely seen my skin be less textured. This texture is very thin close to watery. This also doesn’t have a scent to it. It’s kinda pricey but does last several months. It’s $39 for 1 oz PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum For moisturizer I’ve been using the GLAMGLOW moisture trip omega rich moisturizer. This is a lightweight moisturizer but feels very hydrating. It has helped with my redness a lot. It has hyaluronic acid so it will help with dryness. It’s a nice feeling knowing you’re putting on a good moisturizer to help with dryness without the thickness of it. It has a slight fresh/avocado scent to it. It’s pricey at $55 for 1.7 oz. GLAMGLOW - MOISTURETRIP Omega-Rich Face Moisturizer At night I love to follow with the origins drink up intensive overnight hydrating mask with avocado & Swiss glacier water. I absolutely love this overnight mask. I’ve been using it for years and it’s something I trust to get rid of the dryness and tightness in my skin. It feels really soft on the skin and it’s not thick. Its great for my sensitive skin too. It has a very slight avocado smell but it’s not too much. For the first week I used this every night. After that I now use this every other day. Besides that I tend to use this once or twice a week. Full 2.5 oz is $27 Mini 1 oz is $13 ORIGINS - Drink Up-Intensive Overnight Mask to Quench Skin's Thirst I never forget about the lips and I use my trusty glossier mint balm dot com. I love this so much that I’m almost done with it. Personally the mint, rose, coconut and Un scented one are the ones with the most hydration. It’s pricey but I’ve had this for about a year. It’s 0.5 oz for $12. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom
luxury bath on a budget
At this point, I can’t imagine taking a bath without Neutrogena - Body Oil I’ve gone through at least three of the big bottles in the last year. As all bath-lovers know too well, bath and body oils are usually pretty expensive. And even though this isn’t the cheapest thing at the drug store, I think it’s completely essential. Not only is it moisturizing, but it smells amazing, AND the scent lingers. My skin is always soft after a bath, and the aroma adds to the bath experience overall. Relaxing, slightly musky, and warm. I usually follow up with body butter/lotion after getting out of the bath, or I’ll add a tiny bit to my lotion after I get out of the shower. But be careful with this stuff! A little truly goes a long way.
DIY Shimmer Oil
I’m going to be honest. I avoid the sun at all costs and I am too lazy to self tan, but I really really like the look of glowy skin in the summer. I can’t help it. In my quest for the perfect glow, I stumbled upon a few shimmer oils but was blown away by the prices. $59 for 3 oz of body oil? No thanks... The thing is, I do use body oil daily. I like to put it on over my moisturizer (CeraVe moisturizing cream) to lock it in, but I also like that it gives a little sheen to my skin. Plus the scent is amazing. That’s when I got to thinking, why not make my own shimmer oil? Using stuff I already had, I was able to whip this up in 10 minutes and the result is a subtle glow and shine that lasts all day. Here’s how to do it: 1. Grab a body oil of your choice. I like Palmer’s because the scent is sweet and it absorbs really well into the skin. An oil works better than a lotion because it has a subtle glaze-y glow to it already. Plus you don’t have to break the bank. Here are some good ones: PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Neutrogena - Body Oil Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil 2. Grab a powdered highlighter (pressed or loose, cream will not work) that blends well with your skin tone. Test it on your arm to make sure it blends to a slight glimmer without any light or dark cast to it. The more translucent the better. I used doucce pressed highlighter in “solstice” because I had it laying around. If your highlighter is pressed, use a spoon to remove it from its container and stir until it’s broken up. Here are some ones I like: doucce - Freematic Highlighter Mono wet n wild - MegaGlo Loose Highlighting Powder NYX - Shimmer Down Pigment 3. Using a funnel (or a piece of paper wrapped into a cone), combine about 1/2tsp of powdered highlighter to your body oil, close and shake. Add more for a more dramatic effect, up to 1tsp of highlighter. 4. Apply daily over moisturizer or directly to skin! And that’s it! Go get your glow on. -XOK

Farmacy Farmer’s Market Kit 😄😐🙁
Me: dry-combo, currently acne prone, sensitive or very sensitive For my first dive into Farmacy products, I purchased the FARMACY - Farmer's Market Kit so that I could try a variety of their bestsellers. Overall, a good tester kit for your money with adequately sized samples! (Much bigger than the Glow Recipe sample sizes.) From favorite to least favorite: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm This was my first ever cleansing balm and I fell in love 😍 Your skin feels so smooth and moisturized afterwards. As a dry skin person I often used this as a single cleanse and didn’t notice any breakouts. I knocked off a star because it contains fragrance.... but actually I LOVE the smell... I just worry about my sensitive skin. The next balm I’m trying out is the GOOD MOLECULES - Instant Cleansing Balm FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This was a nice lightweight moisturizer. I didn’t like the smell quite as much as the balm but it was fine. It did leave a bit of a shiny sticky residue for me but that went away when i added oil on top. Overall, not enough moisture for my skin right now, but I could see myself loving it in the summer! The next lightweight moisturizer I am trying is the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask I wanted to love this one, and about half the time I loved it, but about half the time I HATED it. When it was good, it made my skin feel so smooth, hydrated, and brightened. When it was bad, it BURNED my skin, horribly at times. I guess it depends on how my skin barrier is doing? Probably not a repurchase since it was so unpredictable on my sensitive skin. I love honey and would love to hear thoughts on other honey masks to try! FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry My least favorite of the group, this one was just too sticky for me. I also didnt like the smell... it was almost sour smelling? Idk, just not for me. I’m now trying the Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serumfor my next vitamin C product. I also now purchased FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry and it is too soon for a full review but right now I am liking it a lot! It is not sticky, and does not have the funny smell of the serum. What do you guys think?? What Farmacy products should I try next? I’m eyeing the FARMACY - Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizeror the FARMACY - Honey Halo Ultra-hydrating Ceramide Moisturizerand the FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serumand maybe the FARMACY - Whipped Greens: Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser With Moringa and Papaya!! Let me know what you think!
This smells so 😍
FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm I LOVE this cleansing balm! The texture is so nice, it’s like a sorbet like texture as seen in the second picture! It only takes a few small scoops and my makeup comes off! It’s a bit pricey at 34 dollars only because you don’t get that much for that price but that’s my only complaint..☺️

CALLING FOR HELP AND ADVICE‼️‼️: Curly help.
HELLO EVERYONE 😊❤️✨, this is my first post and it cost me a lot to write it. As you see in the title; I would like to have my curly hair back and feel good about it. I come from a family with a lot of hair and curly hair (part of my father) and during my youth I was a full curl! I didn't use many products and it was always fully defined. During the last 6 years I and my hair have gone through a lot and I know that also affected me, the last two years I lost a little more than half of my hair due to stress, dyes and depression. I am currently beginning to change both my diet and my emotional health. But I still miss my curly hair!!! my type of hair was 3A. Here are the products I currently use: I try to wash my hair the less possible (1-2 times a week) SheaMoisture - Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Shampoo I like this shampoo, my hair looks and feels shiny SheaMoisture - Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque I use this mask 1-2 times at week, love the small and helps my hair to stay strong, shiny, not splits. SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Hair Masque ok ok, probably I’m a little obsessed with this brand 😂😂😂✨ oh! also I take the NATURE'S BOUNTY - Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies I started with them 2 years ago and it helps me a lot. if anyone has recommendations or options, I am in everything. thanks for your time in my post, I love this app and the community.
Very Un-Millenial of me
Really quick lesson in marketing to millennials, we do a ton of research on a product before we purchase it. So honestly, that was my big mistake with this product. Had I done my research, I would have learned this hair mask was NOT for me. Shea Moisture actually has a guide for what level of moisture your hair needs. I would be a 1, this is for a 4. I was just desperately looking for a deep moisture treatment...be careful what you wish for. once a week, a little on my roots, not bad. But too much, I am a grease ball. I do like the ingredients, and the smell, so I have been using it to shave with. If you go to their site, and you are a 4, grab this stuff, it's a nice little product
Im down to the last few uses of my Briogeo hair mask and I still stand by the fact that this is one of the best hair masks out there. It's the first hair mask that truly changed my conception of haircare and I compare all hair masks to this one - it's the gold standard. Speaking of gold standards, a cleanser that truly has changed my cleansing game is Green Clean by Farmacy beauty but one cleanser that did come up to par with it is the Banilaco Clean It Zero. I can easily use both to remove my eye makeup without any irritations. Ok now going to go eat chinese food in bed to fully enjoy my pamper day before going back to work tmr. 🥟🥟
Your feet will smell amazing
I was already a fan of their bum bum cream the scent alone is just something I absolutely love . So when I saw the foot cream I had to give it a try . It comes with the foot file board which I love . It definitely made me feet feel and smell nice . It’s not the best foot cream I’ve tried but I do really enjoy it SOL de Janeiro - Samba Foot Fetish Care

clean DEO without the B.O. 🥳✨🌿 briogeo NEW B. Well Tea Tree & Eucalyptus Clean Deodorant! I’ve been testing it for several weeks, but I’m no stranger to clean deodorants and my body truly loves this one. I’m in love with the natural tea tree and eucalyptus scent and coconut water makes it extra soothing, especially after shaving. It dries clear, never stains or feels chalky. Like most clean deos, I do have to reapply to get the maximum effect, but that doesn’t bother me. I’ve emptied several briogeo products and have been so impressed so far - this product is no exception 🥰
Briogeo-B. Well Tea Tree + Eucalyptus Clean Natural Deodorant
Raise your hand if you like to be smelly? . Yeah, didn't think so. I think we're also concerned about using products with good ingredients. The Briogeo B. Well Tea Tree + Eucalyptus Clean Deodorant is one of those products I'm excited to post for this very reason. . It is a natural, non-toxic, plant-based deodorant that is perfect for those of us seeking a clean alternative for odor protection. . It's Aluminum Free, Talc Free, Not Too Chalky, Not Too Wet, and leaves Zero Stains. Instead of weird ingredients, it has Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus & Coconut Water, which draws upon the antimicrobial and antibacterial properties of Tea Tree and Eucalyptus, to help to neutralize odor. . It's become a staple in my essentials for my work bag (or essentially anywhere in Tucson because it's hot as peppers here). And it truly has kept any bad odors and such away! I'm glad to have found this one!

For Healthy Feet and Working Hands!
I got these from a company called O’keefe’s and let me tell you, their creams work! Living in Canada I often get dry hands, lips and most especially very dry nd flaky heels as you can see in succeeding pictures (not for the faint hearted 😅) .The hand cream works really well as expected, very hydrating and creamy. But I want to talk about the foot cream more. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who neglects to take care of their feet so when I got this, I tried my best to be diligent for science’s sake 😂 After showering, I usually just put lotion all over my body except the soles of my feet and I wear socks like all the time especially during winter so my heels are super dry. After constantly applying the cream on my heels right before bedtime my heels slowly began to get smoother. I took pictures the next day to document the progress but there were days that I would forget to do so. Swipe left to see the documentation. . . Do you take care of your feet too or you can't be bothered like how I used to be?
