Hormonal Acne Journey (part 3)
Hello, lovelies! I am a day behind on posting and I am so sorry, but check out the difference in my skin! This is my second week using "Biologique Recherche" products and I am LOVING them! If this is the first post you have seen please go to my profile to get a full background on my journey and see my week to week progress! This is the clearest my skin has been in a YEAR. I am so thankful for these products. I am still using the same routine! IF I have worn makeup I will use the BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Lait Vip O2 Oxygenating Milk Cleanser , which is a facial cleanser. I do NOT double cleanse with this item. I use the CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin to cleanse my face first and get all of my makeup off. Then I use the toner suggested for acne prone skin, "Biologique Recherche P50V 1970". (I cannot find a link to this product). After that I use the BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Serum Placenta , which has been a huge game changer in my scars and the rate my acne heals after I... pick at it πŸ₯΄πŸ˜Ά. I follow that up with the BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Creme Placenta facial lotion. It has similar properties to the serum. I use all of these twice daily with the exception of the cleanser. I also used the facial mask again, but only once this week. swipe the picture to see me with BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - MASQUE VIVANT on my face! I seriously can't wait to see my results NEXT WEEK! 😱 Thank you all so much for following my journey! like I said please check out my previous posts for more details and progress pictures! I will update you all next week! I hope everyone has a blessed week! ❀ Be sure to check out my page for hair education as well! 😘 Instagrams: chey_bug hair.by.chey_ Tiktok: chey_bug97

Nighttime Daily Routine
I started this routine a few months ago and it has been working for my dry skin. I start with micellar water Simple - Kind to Skin Micellar Cleasing Water This helps remove makeup from my face before cleansing. It’s gentle and does not irritate my skin. Even when I don’t wear makeup I use it because of the tint in my sunscreen. Then I cleanse CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I use this product and it does not dry out my skin at all, it takes a while to get used to the lotion texture of it. This cleanser does not remove makeup well for me and that’s also why I use the micellar water. Then Niacinamide The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I use this because it works well with the retinol and helps reduce irritation that can be caused by the retinol. I am interested in trying a different Niacinamide because I read the percentage in this is higher than necessary Then retinol VERSED - PRESS RESTART I got this retinol, because I heard it was great for beginners. After I finish with this I am looking to try something new. I started using it only 1x/week and slowly increased. I now use 5x/week Then moisturizer CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream I chose a cream over the lotion because it is thicker and is better for the dryer winter months. I used to wake up with dry skin on my forehead and around my lips, but since using this it has really helped! JOSIE MARAN - 100% Pure Argan Oil I started using this oil when my face my feeling extra dry, but have recently added it to my routine every night because I love the way it makes my face feel. I feel like my skin is glowing when I wake up in the morning. I love the consistency, it’s not thick or heavy. It is pricey, but totally worth it for dry skin in the winter. 2x/week I exfoliate The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA I use this AHA on the days that I don’t use the retinol. Retinol and AHAs should not be used together I read that it was a good option for dry skin.

Dry, redness prone, sensitive skin
Hi everyone :) Since I can remember I’ve dealt with dry and sensitive skin. My skin is always red to some level. I’ve been to dermatologists in the past and they always said it was something I would grow out of. I’m 27 and while my skin has improved over time, I still have a lot of redness. I was never told that I have rosacea, but I’m pretty that’s what I’m dealing with! Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for products that might help? While my current routine works well for my skin, I’m curious to see if there’s anything else I could incorporate to help with my redness. Thanks in advance!

Face update
Ok guys if you been following me my bumps are starting to dry up and now I have dark spots. My right side is completely healed and the left is my trouble side. After seeing my dermatologist for my follow up appointment she went up on the dose of the retinoid I use at night. If you are wondering my routine this is what I'm using. Also go look at my old pics to see where I started from. Neutrogena - Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask I love this as it dries out my bumps LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser I use this at night and love how it's super light CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion light way and keeps face moisturizer at night elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I use the tinted version now great for black girls only in the morning and I do two fingers when I apply it The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I just started using it super light weight. I started as a suggestion to help purging. Haven't told my dermatologist I'm using it but it has made the bumps on the right side calm down so so far so good. I'll update this to five stars after I have enough data to support if it really works.CeraVe - Healing Ointment I use when I experience dryness from the winter. A lot goes a long way .

CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin LOVE this cleanser!! I have oily skin, but when I do my skincare routine consistently, morning and evening my skin becomes very dry. I was scared that this would make my skin more oily than it already is but it doesn’t, this product is perfect and makes my skin feel healthy and hydrated!

Hey there! Looking to find either an awesome cleansing oil or cleansing balm to add to my skincare routine. I love my CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin but have been working to find something beforehand to really break up and push off all of the make up from the day, that’s gentle on the skin and eyes too. Any suggestions you got, would love to hear from you! Any balms or oils that you love using as part 1 of 2 for your double cleansing routine? Super open to feedback and suggestions! Let me know what you love or what you think could be great for someone with dry/ combo skin to use. Thank you! ✨✨✨✨

Every day staple!
Every day staple!
I use this cleanse twice a day, every day! Usually as a second or final cleanse this is a product that is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin - it’s so gentle and doesn’t strip my face. It’s inexpensive and the big bottle even lasts me a couple months! If you haven’t given this one a try yet, you must get your hands on it 😍CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin

The CeraVe hydrating facial cl
The CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser is a very gentle face wash that is great for dry, sensitive skin. The cleanser is very creamy. It almost feels like I’m putting a very watered down moisturizer on my face to cleanse it. I truly believe that it has worked wonders on my sensitive and dry skin. I have notice that my acne has gone away and my skin feels much more hydrated due to the ceramides in the cleanser that helps lock in the moisture. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who had sensitive skin. My sister has very oily skin and she did not like this cleanser, but everyone’s skin is different. I think this product is worth the $11.99 price tag. I love it! CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin

NEW! From cerave!
NEW! From cerave!
Saw this new product from cerave on amazon and just had to purchase! As an avid lover of their hydrating facial cleanser, and really any of their products I was intrigued by this new addition. Cerave claims that this face wash is a hydrating yet foaming cleanser that cleanses, hydrates, and removes makeup without disrupting the skin barrier. The formula contains MVE delivery technology for controlled release of hydration all day and amino acids to help attract and hold water on the skin. Of course it’s fragrance free, non-drying, and ph balanced. Initial thoughts when using: Super creaming like their hydrating cleanser but foams up like their foaming face wash. I think they made a nice hybrid of the two products. This product is HUGE for only $15 on amazon. Plus I only had to use a pea sized amount for my whole face so it’s going to last me a while! When reading the ingredients I found this also contains a small amount of salicylic acid, they don’t say the % so I imagine a small amount just to help with inflammation. I think this would also be a good wash for the body as well! Actually kind of reminds me of their hydrating bar soap. As for the claim that it removes makeup I personally still double cleanse because then I know for sure I’m getting everything off. CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser

Which cleanser is best?
Which cleanser is best?
I have been looking for a good cleanser to use after my DHC cleansing oil. I am currently using the Cetaphil gentle cleansing bar..which is not cutting it. I have dry and sensitive skin. I use the Cerave daily moisturizing lotion on my face everyday and I love it!! So I thought I’d give the Cerave gentle face cleanser a shot, but then I found the La Roche-Posay hydrating gentle face cleanser. They both look fantastic but I’m not sure which one would be bestπŸ€” LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face CleanserCeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser
