When the skin is inflamed,irritated, and bumpy it needs calming ingredients and lots of water to naturally repair itself and 🌱 HEAL 🌱 If you over dry the skin or pimple, it can take longer to heal and scarring can occur. And you can induce more breakouts -> a viscous cycle. . You can also eat foods that will help promote clear and healthy skin, like fresh fruit and vegetables, healthy fats, and lean meats. Avoid foods that can contribute to more acne and inflammation such as dairy, sugar, gluten, and processed foods. . I personally struggled with adult acne when I turned 30 for 2yrs, first trying quick fixes through topical creams and professional treatment. But through research and self testing, I now know healthy and glowing skin starts with what you put INSIDE your body. And that is why I’ve been gluten and dairy free for 6yrs and have a handle on my acne prone skin since then. .
