I chose teamiblends Soothe Facial Oil, a calming oil that has a blend of Lavender Flower, White Sage Leaf and Blue Tansy Essential oil along with Jojoba oil. Normally, I would have chosen their Repair Oil but as I had over exfoliated my skin in past weeks, I figured it would be best to try something that heals and soothes the irritated skin. I have been using this for a while as a part of my night time routine. I tried to stay away from any kind of Actives or Acids (other than my C-Tango eye cream) It is not a heavy oil, sinks into the skin almost immedietly and moisturizes my dry skin nicely. There is no weird smell. It helped me with my redness the most. Most of the skin irritation due to dryness was handled. To see the effects on fine lines and dark spots I need to use it for few more days. Facial oils are not new to me and I use them all the time. I have used oils that are heavier than this one and so I can see this working very comfortably for combination to oily skin too. I will keep using it for now but I think this will be a good one in warmer months when I avoid layering products. .

I love the textures of products that are meant for combination skin. Just like the light water creams, cloudy face packs and light gel serums but what my dry skin actually needs is intense moisturizing that usually lighter skincare products don’t provide. The only way to make this drunkelephant serum work for my skin is to make sure I top it with some oil. This is an old formula. I had two if these that came in sets. On to my second bottle. Any face oil works. I just used this oil because it is blue 😆and in current rotation. This teamiblends soothe face oil is light weight and has blue tansy in it. It gives me that lovely glow, is not too thick or heavy.
That damn drop refused to drop!! Either it dropped too fast for me to capture or it just didn’t drop at all! It was so frustrating to the point where I obsessively went clicking...non stop.. Clik..clik...clik and before I knew there were close to 25 shots. This was the best one 😬😬 teamiblends Soothe Tea infused Oil is the only product I have tried from the brand and I love it. I have talked about it before. This oil blend has coconut oil too. Works for me. Never broke me out. .
HerbivoreBotanicals beauty products are what I'm currently reaching for over and over again. And this nutrient-rich base of Blue Tansy Oil with other organic essential oils naturally reduces appearance of redness and promotes a healthy balance to the skin. Pretty much what I’m going for right now. It also infused with Lapis Lazuli, the blue Egyptian stone! I use this Lapis Facial Oil as part of my nighttime routine. This is when I get a lot of moisture and really press everything in before applying the next later. Before oils, I'll do serums depending on what I need that day. Then at the end, I seal everything with moisturizer. Yes, even with oily skin, moisture is still needed. Because without moisturizing thoroughly, skin overcompensates by producing more oil and sebum leading to oilier skin and clogged pores. After using it for about a month, my skin doesn't react in redness or breakouts to this. I put about 5 drops in my hand, rub my hands gently together and then press my hands to my face. It absorbs into the skin leaving it silky smooth. The scent is pleasant and calming with Jasmine Sambac Oil in the formula. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is dewy and not greasy. I find my skin has been calmer and breakouts are not as severe.
HERBIVORE-Lapis Balancing Facial Oil
How gorgeous is this mini facial oil trio set 😍 literally the most perfect gift for those who are either new to oils or are experienced and love to mix different oils together! So far I’ve only really used the Phoenix oil and it’s by far my favourite. I was surprised how hydrated and smooth my skin felt the first time I used it because I was honestly expecting to break out (oils and my skin usually don’t go together 🙈). I like to pat 3-4 drops on my face after applying moisturizer at night. It doesn’t feel greasy and absorbs pretty fast. If you have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin and are looking to try out an oil product, then I highly suggest the Phoenix oil! I’ve slowly started to incorporate the lapis oil in my routine so I’ll keep you guys updated ☺️

my hg redness-reducing product
Herbivore Emerald 100mg CBD + adaptogens deep moisture glow oil ✨ • Price: $58 for 1oz • Skin types: Normal, dry, and combination • Product function: an oil with 100-mg full-spectrum CBD, hemp seed oil, and adaptogens to visibly calm the look of redness and nourish skin with lasting hydration • Target concerns: Redness, dryness, dullness and uneven texture • Key ingredients: full spectrum cbd, hemp seed oil, ashwagandha • Ingredient callouts: vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free • Texture: clear, green, oily, thin • Fragrance: herby • How I use it: as my last step in my night routine or whenever my skin is irritated and red • My opinion: This was one of the first higher end skincare products that I purchased for myself and I am SO glad that I did. I have always been intrigued by cbd in skincare and this oil has really proved the benefits that cbd can have on your skin. My skin tends to get red pretty easily and this is the only product that quickly calms the redness. It has also been amazing for my skin since it has gotten cooler out because it is so incredibly hydrating. I usually use this as the last step in my night routine and I ALWAYS wake up with a gorgeous glow. I do think that it is a bit pricey compared to other face oils, but personally I think it is worth it because my bottle has lasted for months and it works so well. I would definitely recommend this oil to anyone looking for an oil that has dry skin or skin that is prone to redness/irritation.

H E R B I V O R E 🧡 R E V I E W Okay babes, so this is the Herbivore Botanicals Phoenix Facial Oil! It’s formulated for reducing dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, and is supposed to increase firmness & elasticity. Texture, Consistency & Scent:🧡 This facial oil is just that, an oil. It is NOT sticky at all and absorbs into the skin leaving it moisturized and slightly greasy (but not bad greasy.. ya feel me?) Also, it has a very natural scent to it, almost a little herbal! Me likeyyy! Honesty Time:🧡 I actually really like this facial oil! It doesn’t clog my pores and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling uncomfortably greased up. It’s very hydrating and works well for my skin type, which is a little sensitive! On that note, I would recommend this product for anyone with the above concerns! I think it’s a great product and I love how it’s CLEAN & CRUELTY-FREE! Price Point:🧡 I think this product is worth the price because a little goes a long way!!! I have this tiny bottle and I still have so much left even though I have used it for months! RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FIVE STARS BABYYYY!

Give Me The Rosehip
This Pure Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil by Good Molecules is such a delightful oil to have. It’s gentle for even the most sensitive skin and you only need a few drops to cover your skin. When you add a few drops to the palms of your hands - make sure you warm it up in your hands before applying to your skin. It makes it feel so nourishing on the skin. It’s such a small bottle... but it lasts such a long time and packs a huge punch into your skincare routine!!! By decreasing the markup by the middleman, they directly source their ingredients (hand picked by farmers in Patagonia in Chile) which creates lower prices for consumers!! I absolutely love this product so much because it’s a clean green product and the brand is so amazing. They have so many other products that are just as amazing as this serum and they are super affordable too. GOOD MOLECULES - Pure Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil

Perfect for uneven skin
I LOVE this product, especially when my skin looks red or uneven. It’s made with different oil than normal serums so if you are sensitive to different oils, I’d advise testing first. The blue tansy works well with my red tinted skin, especially in winter. It’s super hydrating and perfect to put on before bed! Acure’s products are always very affordable and under $20. I’ve had this for months and it’s still very full because a little goes a long way. ACURE - Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil
