This particular serum from Lowengrip is an oil based serum and I am a sucker for anything oil. This fragrance free serum has very few ingredients with Jojoba oil as one of the major components. It is light weight, deeply hydrating and nourishing. Never broke me out. I use it on its own without mixing it with anything and layering their day cream on it. For my dry skin the combination works perfectly as a night time routine. Love to do a little facial massage with it. I don’t wear it under makeup. Very gentle and soothing on the skin. .

Feels nice but not sure if it does much
The Belif Hungarian Water Essence is supposed increase hydration levels. It is to be applied after cleaning but before serums and moisturizers. I’m new to using essence and this is the first I have tried. It has a refreshing feeling when you apply it. However, I’m not sure if it really hydrates much. I’ve used it before applying serum and moisturizer which feels nice but only slightly more moisturized. I may try another essence to see if they are all like this or not. This essence is very light and thin; it applies like water and absorbs almost immediately. I do like it for when my skin is too sensitive for moisturizer so I may just use this at bedtime if I’m have an itchy skin night. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️belif - Hungarian Water Essence

Aveeno glow drops
Aveeno - MaxGlow Infusion Drops what is it: facial serum that provides glowing skin by evening skin tone and texture. Use by applying a couple drops mixed into your fav moisturizer. this soy enriched product specifically targets tone and texture issues to give a boost of radiance and moisture. It’s texture is lightweight and smells fresh. It’s non sticky and blends well into skin. my experience: I honestly felt like this made my skin look oily throughout the day, so I’d recommend trying if you have drier skin. However, I do like mixing it with my concealer under my eyes and it leaves a flawless, dewy finish while still covering dark circles and redness. also, I got my husband obsessed with these and he also likes using it under his eyes (lol). Overall, it’s a decent product. One flaw is that it soooooo difficult to initially open. I’d stick with trying the mini size if you want to try it, because it literally took my husband a day to even open it. I was very close to returning it, which is why i don’t give it a stellar rating. The packaging is a lot better on the small size and worth the price imo, while still lasting a few months if used everyday.

I was gifted these two 1.7 oz bottles of evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray Travel Duo and I have to say they are very nice! I live in Florida and it is very hot and humid, so having a product that is this refreshing in my purse always helps! This spray is basically like spraying mist onto your skin. On the back of the bottle it claims that you can use the product year round and that it will hydrate your skin and help to fix your makeup. While I haven’t had much luck with the makeup part, this product is definitely hydrating! I think it’s worth the price as it really is such a refreshing product, 4/5 stars!

Primera Miracle Seed Essence & I like the added hydration it provides. 💦 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I do want to talk about essences in general though. Essences aren’t a step we tend to value in western skincare but they do prep the skin to absorb other products, hydrate, & can be layered without getting sticky. 💯 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I will say that this has been a good addition to my routine simply because I’m focused on dehydration right now. However, it’s expensive ($58!) so I definitely suggest a cheaper option if you’re interested in adding an essence to your routine. 🤑 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I choose to pat this in instead of using the cotton pads that come with it because I don’t wanna lose any product. However, the pads will be great to use for a make-shift mask. 👍🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Dang...these are good. sulwhasoo Bloomstay vitalizing line and while I've only had the chance to test them for a few days, my first impressions are really good. I'm definitely within the target age-group for this range (mid 30s). This line is nourishing, but unlike more intense anti-aging products, it doesn't feature super buttery, heavy textures. Instead each step is hydrating but has enough richness to replenish skin that isn't 20 years old anymore. Though it would definitely work for a 20-year old too! I just wish I could have afforded a $300+ routine when I was 20 (which is already quite a bit less than their high end anti-aging lines) lol! I've also, for the first time in a while, had a skincare routine made up of one brand's products - I've been using the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum (not pictured) and these three products exclusively for a few days. And everything does layer beautifully with no excess stickiness or pilling, coming together at the end with the right amount of hydration vs richness. I can see why people would stick to one brand for their entire routine.
