Cold Brew in my Serum?🤩

My initial thought when I saw this serum was “Oh my gosh a COFFEE serum”. I quickly realized the brand had a different cold brew in mind 😂, but it was all ok once I tried it. I recently started incorporating theprimera - Black Seed Cold-Brew Serum
into my skincare routine. After applying the first pump to the back of my hand, I knew that this serum would be great for all skin types and even more a dream for dry and sensitive skin gals. The serum is clear and very fluid. The texture is watery and most similar to an essence but ever so slightly thicker. I use it both in the morning and night now because of how lightweight it is. The serum sinks into the skin almost immediately and doesn’t leave behind any tackiness. Even though it’s super light, I do feel like my skin is amply moisturized and hydrated. Sometimes I’ll go in with a second round of serum if I want another boost of hydration. Another plus is that this serum’s great when layering with other products (toner, eye cream, etc). It blends in seamlessly and doesn’t seem to have any funky reactions with my other products. I don’t notice any miracles when it comes to how smooth or soft my skin is, but I noticed that my pores had a blurred effect, which is one of the highlights mentioned on the front of the bottle. I’m all about a skincare product that goes the extra step and takes place of a makeup product! This serum is such a good simple yet powerful product to have in your regimen. It’s the type of product I trust to use on any skin day, even if it’s one where I have tons of breakouts and sensitivity. It’s gentle and helps strengthen the skin barrier. However, I hesitate a little when it comes to the price point. I do think there are other serums on the market that have similar soothing and calming effects. It’s hard to say definitively as each person is different, but I’d say if you are interested in this launch, give it a go! #CherieCreator

My Recent empties for my Acne Prone Skin🤩
I wrote previous on my page about how I have struggled with hormonal acne breakouts since the birth of my two children. It’s been an on-going battle for the past 9 years to fix and save my skin. I feel like I have found some great products over the past 3 months and I wanted to share with you some of my recent #emties!!!! 🤩 MAELOVE - Glow Maker MaeLove is a Indy brand that I became obsessed with a few moths ago after watching YouTuber Liah Yoo (shout out💁🏻‍♀️) review them. Glow maker is by far my favorite Vitamin C serum. I use this in the morning after my toner and it brightens my skin and absorbs quickly with out leaving that sticky feel *that I hate *🙅🏻‍♀️ which a lot of other vitamin C’s that I have tried in the past leave behind. The price point is not bad either and the shipping is eco conscious and plastic free which I love. 💕 MAELOVE - NIA 10 Calming Serum Ahhhhh, this hurts my heart so bad because I love most of MaeLove’s products, but this has to be my least favorite out of the brand. I didn’t see much benefit from this product and have found other niacinamides that I like much better.. like Paula’s Choice clinical and naturium. Also, just because it didn’t work for my skin doesn’t mean that it won’t work for yours. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Adapalene Gel .01% Topical Retinoid Acne Treatment AGAINNNNN, La Roche Posay hits it out of the park for me. This retinoid treatment, which you use to need a prescription for, helped to heal my stubborn acne bumps and blackheads. It’s also at a pretty reasonable price point and you can pick it up at certain drugstores. It’s a gel consistency and I use it as a spot treatment on my breakouts. I will DEFINITELY be repurchasing this. primera - Black Seed Cold-Brew Serum I highly recommend this product as well. It goes on smooth and absorbs right in to the skin. I usually use this at night.. because I try to minimize the amount of serums I use in the morning. The reason I gave it 4 instead of five stars is because the price point. I found another serum I’m testing out right now that is slight cheaper that I will posting about soon. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Ultra Night Cream for Sensitive Skin This has to be my favorite product out of the bunch! The creamy consistency goes on my skin effortlessly. I put this on last after my Serums and I wake up to baby smooth skin. I don’t know what it is about this brand but just about every product I have purchased from them works really well with my dry acne prone skin.

Do you use ampoules or special
Do you use ampoules or special treatments? I usually go for special treatments during the autumn but I guess Troiareuke Healing Cocktail Skin Complex Formula is a product which I need to use the whole year. This time I tried Akne-C Formula Ampoule. This ampoule contains Green Tea Catechins and it's recommended for acne-prone and oily skin since it moderates sebum production. You can use it as a toner or as a mist, for me both ways work but I prefer to use it as a toner which I spray under another toner. I've already tried Anti-Trouble Formula Ampoule and the Anti-Trouble seems to work better for me - the blue ampoule keeps my skin soft and it helps with moisture but if you mix blue and green then you get a mixture that can be really powerful on acne-prone skin. Do I recommend it? Yes, it's a delicate product worth a try, somehow the blue one took me longer to use the whole bottle of it than the green one but I guess it's all about weather. So which ampoule should I try next anti-ageing or brightening?
Herbivore Prism Glow Serum Review
Herbivore Prism Glow Serum Review
I tried to take some pretty pictures and be all creative with this bottle but the day is so moody and honestly, the bottle speaks for itself right? This is a @herbivore Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum. I was gifted this by @cherie. Thank you so much 😊💕 I have been testing out this serum for a little over a week now and I have to say, it is quite gentle. I know it has 12% AHA and 3% BHA but I guess my skin is well adjusted to the @farmacy honeymoon glow serum (which contains 14% AHA/BHA). But I really liked how it was so nice to put on my face. It absorbed really well and it didn’t sting. On their website, they say that this product is to target dullness and uneven skin tone & texture. It is recommended for all skin types even those with sensitive skin (but you should spot-test first). This serum is a pretty watery in consistency and it didn’t leave my skin feeling too sticky or tacky. It has a very light rose scent which doesn’t bother me. It isn’t too strong and I also smell a little bit of citrus. Whenever it is that time of the month, I always break out around my cheek areas. And I have been getting some red spots after the pimples try to fade. I also have been eyeing this freckle just to see if it would fade with the products I have been testing out. And it really has faded! It is still there but it is much less darker than it used to. I do think that this Prism serum which I use every 2 days, the Goodal Vit C serum which I use on days I don’t use Prism, and retinol that I use at night, has really helped fading away my freckles. My red spots have also faded as well. I think I will continue to use this up! I would recommend this to those who are just starting to dip their toes into AHA/BHA. For me it’s a little too weak. 😄 What are your HG AHA/BHA?#herbivore botanicals - PRISM 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum[goods]#[FourStars]
✨as someone who lives with acn
✨as someone who lives with acne prone skin breakouts are just par for the course, but what's your go to duos in those crisis? One of mine (and I do have a few) is the centella green level calming toner and level buffet serum duo by purito🌱 ✨the kick starting repairing ingredient is the 10% of centella, also known as pennywort. I am love how the toner comes with a small amount of witch hazel a classic astringent and hyaluronic acid for moisture retention. The formula is think like bentoncosmetic BHA aloe toner but is easy to layer with the serum and other products during a routine. It spreads easy and lays evenly whether patted on with a pad or the palm🌱 ✨its partnering serum sets low on the EWG at green and comes with most of the same products but with a extra kick of centella at 49% (39% more than the toner). It works to reinforce and protect the skin barrier from external aggressors. The serum is of course thicker in a slightly cloudy clear color. It a bit sticky for me during application but it fades quickly🌱 ✨both the toner and serum are soothning for me but I definitely feel a little heat from them when I've overexfoliated. It ends quickly I feel the calming effects and all previous redness is gone. A natural treatment team that works to battle me overactive breakouts. I'm extremely please with how these two work together day or night.
A potent plumping serum!

With an EWG Skin Deep rating of 5, this K-Beauty serum from Sulwhasoo is one of my favorite skincare treats. Due to its price, I try to limit my use of this because it’s so good and it’s highly unlikely that I would fork up the $84 to purchase this gem. I have combination, acne-prone skin which tends to be super dry in the winter and an oil slick in warmer months. My skin hates fragrance, but Sulwhasoo keeps theirs to a minimum. This serum is different than others on the market because it’s intended to be the first product used in a routine after cleansing. It prepares the skin for all other products and plumps like no other. The formula is light weight, quickly absorbed, and lightly scented. If you have the coins, I would highly recommended this product.

It’s no secret that retinol is
It’s no secret that retinol is the big boss of the beauty game but it is one ingredient that I have largely excluded from my regime… until now! Just over three weeks ago, I began EASING into retinol. I have sensitive, somewhat acne-prone, combination skin and it gets angry easily so, to make this work, patience, control and consistency are essential. . My Goal… To smooth over a few fine lines and minimize the appearance of some pesky pores. . Frequency & Concentration… I have started with a 0.3% Retinol concentration once per week (Sunday’s). After 4 weeks I will add another night (likely Wednesday’s) and continue until the little sample tube is finished. . Quantity… I use a pea sized amount for my entire face and then spot a little extra onto “problem areas”. . Regime… It’s important to apply retinol to skin that is *completely dry* (it helps to prevent irritation)! So on retinol nights I cleanse, pat my face try with a towel, and then wait a a minute or two more for any excess moisture to evaporate. After applying Retinol, I again wait another minute or two for it to fully absorb and then continue on with my routine. On Retinol days I tend towards gentler routines with fewer acids and I skip my LAA serum the following morning. I also use healing and hydrating masks in the day following Retinol application. . Progress… So far I have had zero irritation or flaking! I do notice my skin feels a bit drier the next few mornings but it’s nothing a little moisturizer can’t fix. I haven’t had any visible dryness or peeling. As for purging, nothing notable as of yet. I did get a bit of a breakout (nothing major) but it could just as easily have been hormonal. . Moving Forward… I will continue using the 0.3% concentration until the tube is finished and then will increase to 0.5%. I will *try* to continue with twice per week use but if I notice a reaction I will switch back to once per week for a full month and then add the second day back in. Once I have finished the 0.5% tube (it will likely be a full size tube) I will finally upgrade to 1%.. That’s the plan at least!
I’m going to talk about Snail
I’m going to talk about Snail. Anyone who has tried Asian beauty products will most likely know what I am talking about. It has taken me years to try anything snail, because well it’s made up of snail mucin. So I picked up a product a while ago and I still couldn’t use it, but I kept on reading rave reviews from other bloggers about how amazing it is and how once you go snail you never go back. So I bite the bullet and have started using my benton Snail Bee Ultimate Serum. The powerhouse ingredients are snail mucin. Snail secretion filtrate has been fermented by yeast derived from grapes then filtered. It’s suppose to work to repair and help clear acne scars and pigmentation etc. I have only been using it for 3 weeks so I can’t attest to the clearing of scars etc, but what I can say is it’s quite hydrating and calming and I have had no irritation at all with this product. I use this in my hydration serum step. I have also upped my Retinol dosage and it seems to be playing well with that. It’s slightly sticky on the skin, this is probably my one problem and it’s probably my imagination too, but It feels like what snail mucus would be like.......so not the best texture for me 😂. So first impressions, apart from the texture I am really enjoying this serum. Swipe to see ingredients. Benton is also cruelty free, which is awesome.
