CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin

Product Mentioned
Acne Skin Routine 🧴
I have acne-prone skin so I do this routine 1-2 times a week. I start by using the DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil to remove sunscreen and/or makeup. Although this one clogged my pores and made me break out, I still want to finish it before I find a new one.
Next, I use the CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin to gently cleanse while exfoliating. I’ve been using this for a few months and haven’t noticed transforming results like others have.
I tone with the peach slices - Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner which has snail mucin (anti-aging), hyaluronic acid (hydrating), Centella Asiatica (soothing), and Tocopherol (Vitamin E). Overall great toner!
I mildly exfoliate again with the VERSED - JUST BREATHE Clarifying Serum which has willow bark, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, zinc gluconate, and more.
Finally, I moisturize with the cocokind - Texture smoothing cream which I have been loving! It has a lot of squalane which hydrates while balancing oils.
Occasionally, I also use pimple patches when I’m breaking out (which is often). My favorite ones are the HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewell ones.

My favorite cleansers
I’ve tried so manny cleansers in my skin journey, but these are the ones I absolutely love, I’ve kind of stuck with the one brand because I’m slow to trust other products!😂
My favorite one at the moment is CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser I love this product because it cleared up my active acne and it really cleans your face! I have also noticed that my blackheads are starting to clear up and be less noticeable!
My second favorite is the CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser this one is a better than I thought it would be when i first got it!😂 it’s really smooth and it made my face so soft!
The other two are ok, I use the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser when I have dry skin. And the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin is good for when my face needs a break from the active ingredients the first two have!
Definitely would recommend all of them! There all really good!

GREAT FOR ACNE
Wow I’m in love with this product!! I really like how soothing it is and makes my skin feel clean but not stripping especially since using the biore cleanser harmed my skin. ( I’ll do a review on that later.)

Hey there! Looking to find either an awesome cleansing oil or cleansing balm to add to my skincare routine. I love my CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin but have been working to find something beforehand to really break up and push off all of the make up from the day, that’s gentle on the skin and eyes too.
Any suggestions you got, would love to hear from you!
Any balms or oils that you love using as part 1 of 2 for your double cleansing routine? Super open to feedback and suggestions! Let me know what you love or what you think could be great for someone with dry/ combo skin to use.

CeraVe-Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin
Don’t Ignore This Part of Your Routine! 💦
I feel like out of all of the skincare items, people pay the least attention to their cleanser. I think this is a mistake. Your cleanser sets the stage for your whole routine. If your cleanser is too stripping, it can damage your skin’s barrier and make you feel like you have to make it up with lots of moisturizing items that won’t help. If your cleanser isn’t strong enough, you may deal with product buildup and breakouts. I have found CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser to be a perfect balance of cleansing and hydrating. It works so well for my dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin!
What is it?
- CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is a gentle face wash. This cleanser was developed with dermatologists to cleanse and refresh the skin without over-stripping it or leaving it feeling tight and dry.
- Suitable for normal to dry skin.
- Available in sizes 3-16oz, with prices ranging from $4.99-$14.99.
What’s in it?
- Ceramides: Essential for healthy skin, ceramides help restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier.
- Hyaluronic acid: This ingredient attracts hydration to the skin’s surface and helps the skin retain moisture.
- MVE Technology: This patented delivery system continually releases moisturizing ingredients for 24-hour hydration.
- Non-comedogenic, non-irritating and fragrance-free
My review-
- I absolutely love this cleanser! It’s adorable and effective. It’s cleanses my skin, without leaving it feeling tight and dry. My skin feels soft and moisturized after using it, but not heavy or sticky. It feels clean!
- I apply one pump of the product to my soft silicone face brush and gently massage it into damp skin for approx. 30 sec. Then I wash the cleanser off with lukewarm water, pat dry, and proceed with my skincare routine!
- This product does not foam up, but remains a thin, creamy texture. This may bother some people but it doesn’t bother me since it’s so good for my skin! At first it may not feel like it’s cleaning your skin, but once you wash it off you’ll be able to tell that it did! I personally love the way it feels but I did want to include a warning for people who are used to a foaming cleanser.
CeraVe-Hydrating Facial Cleanser
opinions on CeraVe ??
So as soon as i started using CeraVe i noticed that a few days after using it i had gotten a few pimples. my best friend's mom said that her brother used to use CeraVe bc he had badddd acne and it'll do that bc it's taking out all of the impurities first. is this true? i really love how moisturizing it is for my dry skin but i also don't want to make my skin worse. i might think that it might've been just my skin adjusting to the new face wash bc i am changing from Biore to CeraVe. so lmk you're honest, down to earth opinions on this product !! :)
