I have super coarse brows. They go in all directions. They are a wee bit patchy. And being a victim of the 90’s malnourished sperm brows - I’ve been growing them out for YEARS. I love a super full, fluffy brow. I think it makes you look younger (not that I need that!) I usually laminate them every few months when they start really taking off in random directions and I will tint them when I start seeing lots of white as well. These are my products for a fluffy full brow (my babies need a trim so just ignore that 😬) also very cost effective products that will last you forever. Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils I get mine at the Dollar store which is also where I get men’s hair dye to tint my brows in a pinch. It’s a dollar! NYX - Control Freak Eyebrow Gel NYX any clear mascara is good for those last few hairs that won’t behave but this one has been my favorite for years $6 USD AOA Primer Spray - water or any cheap primer spray works though. I feel like this is a waste of good primer spray. $1.88 USD Castor Oil - I know there is mixed reviews on Castor Oil but I’m not using it as much for growth. I apply this with a spoolie every night brushing them the same way I want them to go. I have very thick coarse unruly hairs and I think this helps kind of “train” them to go the way I want and helps them settle the F down. $13 USD on Amazon Brow Styling Soap - This one is from Amazon it’s listed as Ownest and it’s $8 for 2 tins and spoolies Dark Brown or dark purple eyeshadow for filling in totally bald spots - I use a purple if I’m going out at night - seems weird but for dark brows it works and gives some dimension. Trying to NOT use waxy brow pencils as they pull hairs out. I do my soap brows a little different I think. First I use a long spoolie brush to brush all the hairs straight DOWN. This allows me to really see where the sparse areas are and define the upper edge a bit. Then I use powder or a very fine brow marker/pencil to fill in the spots and draw in an upper edge. I then brush everything UP. Spray some primer on the brow soap and use a spoolie to get it all worked in so it’s not wet but kind of waxy. Brush brows UP using the waxy spoolie. Wait about a minute for the soap to set up just a bit. Then brush again with a clean spoolie. I usually brush the body of the brow UP and the tail up and over. I have an obsession with gold recently. NYX - Proof It! Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer stila - Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette NYX - NYX Retractable Eyeliner in Black Glossier. - Pro Tip Brush Point Liquid Eyeliner NYX - Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeliner in Zodiac Queen Tips for Monolids: 1) Using a primer and a nude powder shadow helps prevent smudging. 2) Raise your chins and look down like you despise your makeup mirror when you draw your eyeliner, so you can get as close to lash line as possible. 3) Use a pencil first to dot/stamp the wing shape first. Also use the pencil to fill the lash line. Then use a liquid liner to perfect the eyeliner. 4) After your finish drawing your eyeliner, close your eyes and let the liner dry down before blinking. I know, ridiculous, but this will prevent eyeliner smudging when our lids fold in.

This picture is without any filter. This foundation is very watery yet does a great job! Awesome for dry skin types! If you have obvious acne or dark spots on your skin tho, you might have to use a lot of concealer cuz this foundation doesn’t cover that much. STELLAR - Limitless Foundation

Fun, Easy, and Semi Work + School Appropriate Halloween Makeup to Do at Home #3 Miley Cyrus “Midnight Sky” single cover inspired purple retro vibe makeup. For eyes, I use a purple shimmer shade all over the upper lid. Then I go in with a shimmer wine red eye shadow along both my upper and lower lash lines, blending out a little bit. Then I use a glittery deep purple eyeshadow as an eyeliner to deepen and define the outer corners. For lips, I used a blue red lipstick with a bit of gloss on top. Then in the face, a LOT of silver tone highlighter all over my cheeks, inner corners, center of the lids, even under eye and forehead. I put it on my entire upper eyelid, bring a bit to the corners of my eyes and smudge along the lower lash line towards the center. COLOURPOP - I Think I Love You Pressed Powder Shadow Palette shade Rule Breaker is a gold shimmer shade. I put this on top of Lawn and on my inner corners. COLOURPOP - Yes, Please! shade Spoiled is a rich burgundy red. I use this along the lower lash liner, connecting the Lawn color. I use Glossier. - Pro Tip Brush Point Liquid Eyeliner to draw a small wing and on my upper lash line. I use a bit of L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara in 201 Black.

I felt so cute yesterday & doing this look for myself totally changed my mood all day! 🦴I have a physical disability & have been diagnosed with major depressive disorders & all that fun stuff... Though I’ve been taking good care of my skin, I’ve been doing pretty bad emotionally & otherwise... This was a pick me up I didn’t even realize I needed! 🍧😋This look was basically just me trying out a new blush & sheer lipstick I got (see my recent post ‘Pink tings’ for the actual product reviews including swatches & ingredients) but I didn’t think I would love it so much, so I had to post! 💖This look requires very little skill! I didn’t even brush my hair or wear a clean hoodie. A little color coordination goes a long way people! 👚Speaking of color coordination, I actually used the blush conventionally, & as my eyeshadow. I’m not new to this, but it’s no secret, try it! To me, NYE is all about shiny and shimmery things, so I decided to go with a subtle gold shimmery look! I am by no means an eyeshadow master, so this is my best attempt, please bear with me! I just dabbed a little eyeshadow on my finger, and dabbed it onto my eye. I used BOBBI BROWN - Eyeshadow to fill in my brows. I used #Burt’s Bees - Nourishing Eyeliner Pencil[products]#[FiveStars] in warm brown to give natural definition to my eyes and COVERGIRL - LashBlast Volume Mascara for my lashes. I used my favorite SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler to lift my lashes. I didn’t use any concealer or foundation today, so my HIP marks were showing, but I put some BOBBI BROWN - BOBBI BROWN Bronzing Powder on my cheek bones, some Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color along my cheeks, and some BOBBI BROWN - Shimmer Brick Highlighter on the high points of my cheeks and the tip of my nose.

I get my dark circles genetically so there is really no way to get rid of them. Some days they are agreeable but most days they aren’t. I also struggle with my really red eyelids, so when I found these products they became a stable. I’ve tried other concealers but nothing truly hides them as well as I would like. PRODUCTS IN PICTURES: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Bright Future Color Correctors I love this because it cancels out the dark circles. It is really messy so I took off a star. I got in shade melon. NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer I use this after the color corrector. It is full coverage and fully covers everywhere applied. I heard about this on TikTok and literally love it. I use shade light 2.6. BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector I also heard about this on TikTok and I only apply it on the inner part of my eye to give it a bright ring effect. It also hides any signs of my dark circles that show through. OTHER PRODUCTS USED: REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Perfect Canvas Clean Primer Use this before I apply my makeup and pat it in. Use 3 drops. MAYBELLINE - TattooStudio Brow Tint Pen in shade 360 medium brown. Gives hairlike effect. I use to fill in my arch. URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray Jumbo & Travel Duo setting spray. Keeps my makeup on all day.

My son got a nice little digital microscope for Christmas. So naturally, I’m gonna investigate my skin with it, duh! In case everyone needs further evidence/reminders to be extra, super, crazy gentle with your skin - here it is. I’m in my 40’s now. I had sporadic acne as a teenager and hormonal acne throughout my 20’s. Nothing out of the ordinary. I think it made me crazy enough to go to a dermatologist two or three times. But, I picked and popped everything!!!! I didn’t really know better. In the late 80’s/early 90’s we slapped some Noxema on everything and called it a day. Then when I was in college Biore’ Pore Strips came out. In fact, we all got “Welcome” bags in our dorm rooms and they had pore strips in them. That was viral marketing back then. So I used those bad boys like crazy. For years! I didn’t even have “blackheads” but no one who wasn’t a Derm even knew was a sebaceous filament was! Cut to now. Now, when I look at my skin up close I can see thickened, darker areas of skin where I previously had acne and picked/popped constantly. Now, I have a couple deep ice pick scars from trying to dig out cystic pimples. benefit - The POREfessional Face Primer is my every single day spackle to make those holes even with the rest of my face (Will do a microscope pic of that another time) And now, around my nose where I worked to remove “blackheads” that didn’t exist you can see there area tiny broken capillaries that make the whole area look pinkish and will only worsen with age. (The top 2 photos are areas of my face where the skin is relatively undamaged - the bottom 2 you can see what happens when you squeeze and tear stuff out of your pores) Being extra, overly gentle now will pay off later. Don’t pull at your face when brushing or swiping your make-up on. Don’t scrub it raw when washing. Don’t use harsh chemical laden products. And seriously please don’t use those damn pore strips 😝♥️ (Also, just realized my skin has a weird iridescent scaley look to it. I have Vitamin C serum on. It seems to dry leaving this film on my skin 😉 )

Laura Mercier I heard alot of hype about this setting powder from Laura Mercier and wanted see to try if it worth the hype. When using this powder I first by doing my eyebrows first for my makeup routine. Next I put concealer around my eyebrows to have a cleaner look. Then I wait for the concealer to dry a little bit, then I put setting powder with using a blending brush so it's easily spread all over my eyelid and brow. I love doing this method because it makes a perfect canvas for my eyelid to add eyeshadow. After applying the eyeshadows and eyeliner, next put foundation and concealer or anything else that is wet I wait for it to dry. Then I use a big puffy brush and add the same powder all over my face not too much because it will cause dryness. Then after applying I will use the same brush but to wipe a little bit off my face like I said it does cause drying. Overall I like using it in a day I have for occasion that I want to look snatched but for me myself an everyday use I don't use too much of this product. So truth be told I can do this in as little as 6 min, but if something goes sideways or I add something else it ends up being more like 10, but never over. It has my spf and has a primer built in. That said I prefer a light application, so I use a knock off beauty blender BECCA - Under Eye Brightening CorrectorI explained my current sleep situation, so I need a little brightening in my life. I use my finger to apply and blend NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealeri cab get some redness, so this is more of my one size fits all concealer. I also use my finger to apply and blend I use the Physicians formula talc-free blush. I use a fluffy blush brush Too Faced - Peach Perfect Setting Powder I find all that liquid product needs a powder to be set, I just need to be careful with dry skin, I use a big fluffy brush L'ORÉAL - Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil, I have pretty decent natural brows (my dad wouldn't let me tweeze in the 90's). So this is just to get the shape right. L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Primermascara and I have a love/hate relationship, so I need a little extra work.
