💚My Current Simple 4 Step Skin Care Routine💚
I like to keep it simple. I'm a minimalist and I believe less is more. With my acne prone oily skin I like to keep my routine small with products that I know will work. I currently have 6 products for my routine but they divide at morning and night so, in reality, I'm left with a 4 step routine. This routine and products work perfect for my skin after trying products for weeks, so this is why I consider this my current routine. ☀️MORNING: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I start my mornings with this cleanser by removing excess oil and products from last night. This cleanser is my new favorite cleanser, it is gentle but very efective. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or irritated. The scent is pleasant and minimal. The bottle is made out of glass so it is reusable. This brand is vegan and cruelty free. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% If you don't know about this product, Hello? Where have you been? This is my second step and the most important. Niacinamide helps with excess oil and minimizing the look of pores. Perfect for my oily face. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya Newest addition to my routine and I do not regret. Even though it has a scent I really like it, it is not overwhelming and does not irritate my skin. This oil free gel moisturizer is perfect for the summer days and my oily skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated without feeling too oily. The jar is made out of glass. Dr Dennis Gross - Dark Spot Sun Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 I believe this sunscreen is over my budget but I was recommended this product by a specialist at Sephora so I gave it a try. It leaves a slight white cast that eventually goes away so I don't have a problem with that. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily I can barely feel it on my skin. It is lightweight but to be honest I would not repurchase just because of the price. 🌙NIGHT: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm This balm is perfect for removing makeup but I don't use makeup that often. I mainly use this to remove the sunscreen off my face. It works wonderful and I will repurchase. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Double cleansing is important for removing excess oil and sunscreen. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator Holy grail exfoliator. I only use this at night. Check out my other posts talking about this. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This moisturizer also works great at night. I feel soft and hydrated even after waking up the next day. 💚(Some nights I use masks if I am feeling extra fancy) This is it! My simple but effective skin care routine. FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm I’ve been using this daily and is a great alternative to a cleaning oil as you can make it oil in your palms A melting balm My first step to a two step process and not pore clogging nor does it leave residue It doesn’t have much of a scent to and instantly turns to oil like in hands I recommend for heavy make up to wipe the day away or even sunblock removal

Got new products to help with my acne
I got 2 new products today to test out to see if it’s going to suit my skin. I got an acne treatment kit from La Roche Posay. It says its safe to use both AM & PM but after speaking to a medical esthetician, she recommended I only use this during AM since I’m using retinol & niacinamide at PM and it might dry out my skin since I’m using a lot of the same ingredients. I finally switched out my No. 7 cleansing oil for the holy grail of cleansing oil/balm.. CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm I am so excited to try this because its fragrance free which is probably the best thing for my skin right now. Today is day 1 of using both these products and i’ll do an update in 1 week to see whether these products have made any noticeable changes. My night time routine is washing with Cetaphil cleanser followed by Niacinamide & retinol & rosehip oil instead of a moisturizer. Its really outside my comfort zone to post photos of myself with my acne cause I’m insecure about it but hopefully someone can give me tips about how to fix this!

BIOTHERM Skin Oxygen Depolluting Cleanser Review
BIOTHERM Skin Oxygen Depolluting Cleanser Review
[PRODUCT REVIEW] Cleanser *BIOTHERM Skin Oxygen Depolluting Cleanser ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️* My Personal Experience: I just realized this product isn’t easy to get in the 🇺🇸 since BIOTHERM USA doesn’t have it. But they have this on 🇨🇦 website. I got mine from an airport (forgot where). This is one of my favorite cleanser. It’s a very runny gel texture and low foam. So if you prefer creamier cleansers this one might not be for you. It has a light and refreshing scent but according to BIOTHERM it doesn’t have any fragrance allergens. My skin isn’t very sensitive and I have no problem with this cleanser. This cleanser leaves my skin super soft, smooth, clean, and never dry or tight. It has adequate makeup removing power for light makeup or spf but again I’d say always use an oil or a balm to remove makeup. I took out one star because it’s in this tube packaging but it’s very very liquidy. When I open the lid the product just pours out, which is just inconvenient and can be messy. BIOTHERM recommends massaging the gel onto dry skin and then add water to lather. I usually just lather this on my hands and use on wet skin and it seems there’s no problem lol. It claims to remove urban impurities such as dirt, dust, and pollution, even PM2.5, but to be completely honest I don’t know how I can testify that... like I can’t feel if pollution is pulled out of pores... I can only say for me it’s a gentle yet effective cleanser that removes excessive oils and doesn’t leave any pore clogging residues. And for me that’s what cleansers should do so I love this one for that. Final Tip: A cleanser is just a cleanser. It is supposed to clean your skin, not produce treatment results. That’s what serums are for! So if you’re on a budget, cleanser isn’t where you should spend most of your money! 💸

still searching for my HG cleansing balm 😭
still searching for my HG cleansing balm 😭
i don’t know what it is about this product. i loved it at the beginning, but after a few weeks of use, it isn’t as amazing as i anticipated. pros - generous amount of product for the price point ($30 for 4oz); easily found in stores (ulta, department stores) so you can test and sample in person; does a pretty good job of removing the first pass of my makeup. cons - i know that this needs to be used in a two-step cleansing regimen, but i would have expected it to do a slightly better job with makeup removal. i find myself having to go back over (either with more balm or with liquid cleanser) to remove dark eye makeup and my foundation. i also notice that i break out a little along my chin when i use this multiple days in a row. i don’t think that i’ll repurchase. i’m still on the hunt for a holy grail-level cleansing balm, but thankfully there are lots of options out there!

🐝 The BEE-st Face Wash! 🐝
🐝 The BEE-st Face Wash! 🐝
FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser As I’ve said before I have super oily, acne prone skin that’s extremely picky about what products it’s going to like. I picked up this sample size of the Farmacy Clean Bee gel cleanser last year expecting very little, and I am never going back! This is a lovely gentle gel cleanser with a delicate botanical smell, formulated with hyalauronic acid, chamomile, and amino acids for even the most sensitive skin. This formula manages the fine line between leaving your feeling squeaky clean, but never stripping. After use my skin feels clean, plump, and calmed. My only “complaint” about this product is this price (which is my only complaint with Farmacy products), but this mini size has lasted me over six months of continuous use, which means the full size would last even longer. I would recommend this cleanser to pretty much anyone; but ESPECIALLY to those of you with sensitive or acne prone skin. A godsend! #CherieCreator #cleanser #skincare

My Post Workout Double Cleansing Duo
My Post Workout Double Cleansing Duo
I enjoy daily workouts and activities. My post-workout double cleansing duo is complimentary of @boscia What is double cleansing? In a nutshell, it’s cleansing twice to remove dirt, grime, and pollutants off the skin. First cleanse is with an oil-based cleanser (remove pollutants, SPF, and makeup) and then second cleanse is with a non oil-based cleanser. My combination, acne-prone skin has thrived using the double cleansing method for over two years. Makeup- Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil is lightweight, which I love in an oil-based cleanser. I add to my face dry and slowly work it into a milky cleanser by adding water to my fingertips. It washers away clean and easy. Key Ingredients: ▪️Green Tea ▪️Rosehip ▪️Avocado & Olive Fruit Oil Cryosea Firming Icy- Cold Cleanser is the ⭐️ of my cleansing show! I love this cleanser as my second cleanse and as my post workout cleanser. It’s a perfect summer time cool down cleanser. It’s cool, refreshing, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped. Key Ingredients: ▫️AHAs ▫️Menthol ▫️Jojoba Seed Extract ▫️ Peppermint Oil (warning if sensitive to EOs)

Why I Don’t Like This Micellar Water 😩
Why I Don’t Like This Micellar Water 😩
I know. A lot of people love micellar water. A lot of people swear by it. Unfortunately I’m just not one of them. Or at least not with this one: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying Don’t get me wrong. It works. It does take off makeup. And it is pretty gentle. But I don’t enjoy it for the following reasons: You kind of have to use it with cotton rounds, but cotton rounds always kind of irritate my skin like physical exfoliation. With eye makeup and lip makeup, you need to soak your cotton pads and put them on your eyes/lips to melt off the makeup before you swipe it off. I just find that the product gets into my eyes or mouth easily and it’s not a pleasant feeling. When you have to soak the cotton rounds, the amount of product actually makes it feel soapy. I’ve actually seen it almost foams up, which I’m not a fan of because it completely goes against the purpose of freshness and easiness. It’s not mattifying, or at least I don’t feel like it is. Instead I only feel that it leaves strange residues on my face, which is my biggest problem with this product. I feel compelled to wash my face with a normal cleanser again, even when I’m not using it to take off makeup, but just to fresh up skin from oil and sweat. I honestly think it’s easier to just use an oil or a balm to take off makeup and a regular cleanser to clean my face. Right now I only use this to spot cleanse when I screw up a spot on my makeup and on my body to take off overnight body acne treatment. Maybe it’s just this particular micellar water. Maybe it’s me not using it right. I wish I like it but I really don’t. 💔

{gifted} 🌙 how does this have 12,300 reviews and 9,000 5 stars on Sephora. I was totally blown away by the reviews and really just satisfied by the product. its just a facewash. if you have normal or sensitive skin you might say, hey this is great! it isn’t stripping... but it isn’t that hydrating either, so sorry dry skin. and it ain’t gonna help much with acne or oily skin. i think it is a good makeup removing wash, and that is about it. didn’t blow me away, but i would recommend it to normal skinned folks. 🌙 my skin im very oily and acne prone with tan skin and lots of scarring/discoloration 🌙 the product philosophy - Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser retails for $25 for 8oz 🌙 ingredients meadowfoam seed oil, rosewood oil, coconut alcohol 🌙 did you love this product? let me know! im curious as to why people advocate for it so strongly
