LUSH - Sakura Bath Bombs This bath bomb is a bit underwhelming at first sight because it doesn’t have any colors. It just turns the water slightly milky white but still basically just clear. It’s a bit weird that it’s called Sakura but isn’t really a cherry blossom scent. Instead, it contains mimosa absolute, lemon oil, orange blossom absolute and jasmin absolute. So it’s just a general light floral smell. Plus this bath bomb contains sea salt so it lightly exfoliates my skin, making it very soft and smooth. I do enjoy this bath. Maybe not the most fun one but still very pleasant and relaxing.

Inspired by Helena Bonham Carter’s look in 2010 movie Alice in Wonderland as the Red Queen. Not a great movie but so many fun makeup looks! I’m layering different blues on my eyelids. And I use a black eyeliner pencil in my lash lines. I’m not covering and redrawing my brows so I just make them kind of thin and hard shaped. For the heart shaped lips, I used a lip liner to draw the shape first, then a lip brush for precision. For eyes, I use a purple shimmer shade all over the upper lid. Then I go in with a shimmer wine red eye shadow along both my upper and lower lash lines, blending out a little bit. Then I use a glittery deep purple eyeshadow as an eyeliner to deepen and define the outer corners. For lips, I used a blue red lipstick with a bit of gloss on top. Then in the face, a LOT of silver tone highlighter all over my cheeks, inner corners, center of the lids, even under eye and forehead. I’m giving it a try and it looks surprisingly cute?! But of course I toned it down because well, still have class today lol. The star of this look is of course, the blush. Basically you apply blush from center of the nose bridge out to your temples, creating a sunburn effect. I brought some blush and bronzer all the way up to my forehead and on my entire eyelids. I also dabbed a bit of a subtle liquid highlighter in my cheeks and nose bridge. For eyes I just kept things simple. Strong, dark brows like Faye Wang did to give definition to the face. I used a dark brown shadow along my upper lash line and my outer corners, then a black eyeliner to deepen the lash line. I used a golden shimmer shade along my lower lash line. No mascara. For lips, I used a nude/neutral shade suitable for my skin tone and dabbed a bit of gloss on top.
