Three vintage nail polishes I wanna show you!
Hello, I am showing you an old swatch of a beautiful vintage nail polish that I got last week. Versace v2077 vintage nail polish is a very sought after vintage gem. I haven’t seen many of them around, but google showed me that there has been one listed on eBay for $140. To be fair, it is unclear if the item actually sold. Unfortunately mine is certainly not worth nearly as a new and unopened boxed Versache would be. Mine is actually slightly used store tester. Nevertheless, a great second hand find. Versace v2077 is a black polish full of original unicorn pee pigment. It is a very old polish, I would guess from end of 99’s or early 00’s. Compared to all my other unicorn pee polishes, this certainly has been the hardest to capture. In addition, the vibrant duo chrome effect visible in the bottle isn’t that obvious on the nail. From normal distance, it’s pretty much just a normal black polish. Furthermore, it bloody chipped the next day! Overall this is a lovely polish, but it wasn’t as stunning as one would expect considering the hype. Excuse the short nail swatches -I swatched this a couple of weeks ago just after cutting my nails down. The second one is Hollywood is a red nail polish with creme finish. On the swatches I am wearing two coats with no top coat. The application of this polish was great, the finish was quite sheer, there was some visible nail line. Overall I think this red is just perfect, I don’t often wear red (especially lipstick!) but decided to pair this gorgeous polish up with a red lipstick I had sitting in my make-up bag. I purchased another red polish over the weekend, a red glitter topper by L.A. COLORS - Color Craze Nail Polishcalled Broken Hearted. It’s a mixture of iridescent orange shreds, iridescent blue and orange tiny hex in a sheer red jelly base. Broken Hearted was easy to apply but did not smell very nice. There was enough glitter applied with only one coat. On the swatches I am wearing it under Poshe fast drying top coat. ( I purchased L.A. Colors Broken Hearted from my local Boyes for just £1 :) Do u like it?

💅🏽The Best Quick Dry Nail Polish💅🏽
I used to swear by the Sally Hansen - Insta Dri Nail Color And to be fair I never painted my nails too much, but this was the most available quick drying nail polish. This polish actually takes quite awhile to dry and begins chipping in 2-3 days. I usually do 2 coats and I have to wait 30 mins- 1 hour or so to make sure it’s completely dry. Today I tried the essie - Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish and omg, it dried so quick and application is so very easy. The formula is thinner than the sally Hansen but still contains a lot of color which helps with how quickly it dries. I was able to do a second coat in 10 mins and the second coat dried quickly. Bc of the quick dry time I find the nails just come out so much better and there’s less of a chance to smudge.
Red Power Nails for Aries
I’m an Aries girl. Aries are passionate, confident, and courageous. So it is not surprise that an Aries power color is red! I love to keep this in mind when I am picking out a nail color that I’m going to where somewhere special or just when I want to feel more empowered and confident. If you’ve seen any of my other posts about nails, you’ll know I’m a big fan of the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri line of nail polishes. They come in so many great colors, wear really well and they actually do dry in 60 seconds. Recently I discovered one of my fav red colors from them. It’s called Cinna- Snap. It’s more of a burgundy red which I prefer especially in these fall and winter months. I like to keep my nails pretty short when wearing red, I just think it looks better! You also definitely want to do two coats of polish so you get the nice bold nail.Sally Hansen - Insta Dri Nail Color
3 Great Nail Care Products to have!
These are the 3 Nail Care products I recommend! The Nail Aid is my #1 for nail growth because it makes your nails strong and they grow really quick. You can use it alone on nails or as a Base or Top Coat.
Perfect nude colour for fair/light skin tones
I was really surprised with this nail colour, and how much I love it. This is going to be my every day nude colour for when I’m being indecisive about my nail colour. This is in the shade “buns up”. I have very fair skin, and I feel like this could work for fair to light skin tones. They also have a darker shade in this line called “take the espresso” which I feel like that could work for darker skin tones pretty well. The polish performed average, a few chips by the end of 7 days. Overall, I will continue to wear this!!essie - Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish
Battle of the top coats pt. 2!
Decided to paint my nails this beautiful deep green for Christmas time! The shade of the CND - Vinylux Long Wear Polish is Aura #314. The Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Top Coat performed pretty well, I had got some recommendations to try this one as many people say it’s there holy grail top coat. The one thing I really like about this is is that I don’t find my polish peeling off my nails. They chipped slightly and when applying I found that some of the polish almost lifted a bit (left pinky finger). I was able to make this polish last 8 days! As for my day 8 nails, my right pointed finger was really the only one with a chip in it. My left hand, all of my nails had chips in them, they were very minor, but still noticeable. Overall I liked this, very comparable to the CND one that I tried in part 1. Let me know if you have any recommendations for parts to come. Happy Holidays!
Top Coat on a Budget
Hey, y’all! If you’re looking for a reliable top coat that’s in reach by way of a drugstore, try Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri (red bottle)! When I’m in a pinch (which is usually lol) this top coat saves the day by drying in 5 min or less while coming through with an incredible shine. I’ve been using this top coat for over 7 years and haven’t looked back. One critique would be that because of its great drying chemistry the top coat doesn’t have a very long shelf life like the average product. Personally for me, someone who nail paints everyday, it lasts at most 4 months on the shelf. If you have tried this or considering it let me know! 💕

BYE-BYE Acrylics 💅🏽🚫 My NEW Go-To Salon Style
I stated in a previous post that i’ve had acrylics and tips on since i was 13/14 years old. And ofc everyone knows because of Rona nail salons weren’t open so my nails grew and got stronger. my nails were at a perfect length and they had basically gotten back their STRENGTH. For my birthday this year i wanted to keep my natural nails but also wanted something a lil more extra than gel polish and a lot harsher than acrylic nails. I went to my nail tech and asked her what she could recommend & she told me about this gel that’s basically a gel polish but a lil thicker and doesn’t damage the nails as much as regular acrylic. it’s a gooey consistency and all she did was put two coats of that on and i added a i’ll coat and i was done! I’m not sure of the exact name of it but ask your nail tech if they have it! It’s a newer product on the market and last up to three weeks my tech told me so y’all should check it out!! Let me know how you like it and if y’all ever try it!
DIY FRENCH NAILS HACK
I love the look of French tipped nails put achieving the look is hard for me to freestyle. Many years ago I saw a tip in a magazine on how anyone can achieve this look at home. All you need to create the design is reinforcement stickers that will make the outline for the design. HOW TO: I start off by placing the stickers on all of my nails where I want the design to be. (Some nails may require more then one sticker.) Next, I apply two coats of L.A. Girl - Color Pop Nail Polish to the tips of the nails. Let dry, then pull off the sticker carefully to reveal the design. Next, I use Sally Hansen - Nail Rehab as the base color polish and apply avoiding the white tip area. Lastly, I apply a layer of gel top coat and cure under a UV light. That’s it, your nails are complete! I love this look because it is a classic and compliments everyones skin tone.
