On January 6th I started my Apostrophe journey to clear up my hormonal acne! 🥳 Apostrophe - Topical Formula Apostrophe - Spironolactone Apostrophe - Doxycycline I woke up this morning pretty shocked when I looked in the mirror. My skin has got increasingly worse due to purging, and it’s partially discouraging to see and feel. I have a lot of painful cystic pimples along my jawline and a lot of whiteheads, which I normally rarely get. I’m here to show you that it is completely NORMAL to purge when you are starting a strong retinoid or prescription, and if you’re reading this and struggling like I am, KEEP GOING! I’ve seen so many men and women quit using their treatment because they thought their purging was just a really bad reaction to the products. We can get through this! I’m so excited to see what my skin looks and feels like in 2 months, and will definitely update you all on my skin! I 100% recommend Apostrophe for the easiness, friendliness, and well-created products. I definitely feel confident that they will be what takes my acne away! Thanks for reading! 💖
My go to for the last 3 months
Okay so I can’t really say 3mos as this is only my week 2 of this routine!!!! MORNING‼️ I wash with Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser so far it’s been okay, I guess u get what u pay for but with that being said my skin is soooooooo sensitive that literally before finding Cherie would mostly just wash my face with a rag and 💦 ❤️I then go back in with GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water okay so I love this stuff, it don’t make my face feel nasty, I literally use a cotton pad and just wipe away what my first cleanser didn’t get!!!! ❤️I also take my Apostrophe - Spironolactone I’m supposed to take this daily but due to health issues I only take this every other day just to maintain my potassium levels, I’ve only been on this for 2wks and I have noticed a BIG CHANGE in my skin🙌🏽 ❤️I then top it off with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion it definitely drenches your face with moisture BUT it makes me oily🚱 NIGHTIME ROUTINE‼️ ❤️I follow all the same steps above but I add in my Apostrophe - Topical Formula So far I’m in love with this, I’m already seeing changes in my skin and some of my scarring, I would definitely recommend this product/company🗣🗣🗣If u can’t afford to see a dermatologist or your insurance doesn’t cover it, this process is pretty cool, u literally do everything over the computer💻 or your phone📲your dermatologist will make up a regimen and it’s sent to u via mail🙌🏽With COVID in our lives this was a game changer❤️ Of course after my topical I once again moisturize my skin with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion
can someone give me some good recommendations?
Im completely in over my head, i have no idea what products are actually good for me and which ones aren’t, some solid advice would be great!🤗
Hello lovely people can anyone help me with my acne or even offer any advice!! I mostly have breakout on my left check and I don’t know why. I wash my pillowcase every 3 days and I don’t even put my phone to my ear to avoid aggravated my acne. I’ve struggled with acne since 10th grade and I’m a sophomore in college now. I also suffer from hyperpigmentation, especially from acne. I use La Roche-Posay Toleriane purifying foaming cleanser. I recently switched from Cerave renewing SA cleanser. After cleansing I mist rose water on my face as a toner. Then The Ordinary Niacinamide and the ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2%. And finally I use Cerave daily moisturizing lotion as a moisturizer.
What do I do?
I’ve had clear skin all my life. I recently turned 25 and shifted to a drier city and bam! I’ve had terrible skin ever since. I have combination skin that is sensitive to most strong drying serums. How do I achieve clear skin?
i get really hurtful pimples around my lips and on my chin which randomly pop up and i never know what products to use because nothings helped. they’ve also started to pop up on my forehead. please help!!!!
